Author Note:
This is a rare occasion, but the email notification issue is finally resolved. So, consider this note as an announcement that my story isn't dead, I'm not abandoning it, and you will receive notifications whenever I update. Hopefully, it won't go down again, as fanfiction, for some reason, never made any announcements. The last time they did was on October 20, which feels like ages ago, lol.
I'd also like to point out another aspect regarding the statistics. I have received 13 reviews but no views whatsoever, lmao. I guess they don't have a clue in fixing that as of now. Don't forget to check the notes at the end of the chapter since I will be answering and discussing a few things with my dear readers. Well then, to celebrate this special occasion, enjoy the fifth chapter!
A dream... or was it an illusion?
It feels so vivid, almost like déjà vu; this scene feels so familiar to him, yet he has no recollection of this scene ever happening.
His cerulean eyes gaze to the scene transpiring below, a scenery that brings tranquility to one's mind, feeling more peaceful than anything. In the end, one thought lingers in his mind as he watches the scene unfold.
Above the clouds, She who oversees the world below Her has the look of relief and satisfaction filling Her golden, star-pupiled eyes, gazing, and observing across the world below which She has created. Observing everything from above; a world filled with beauty and variety, races with different origins, a world where everything coexists, be it monsters, humans, and even higher beings that include Him; the Father of the world.
"What do you think...?" She asked the figure sitting on a seat.
Her tone was sweet as honey, melodic to the ears of many, yet to him, she lacked what he would call empathy. The figure was unbothered by her gaze, nor fretting over her question and antics; he was merely focusing on the chessboard across from him, unimpressed at the feat being shown in front of him.
Her silver hair swaying gently in the air, and with a pout, she declared. "This is my gift for you, the progenitor of Teyvat!"
"C'mon now, don't be so dramatic," the figure sighed, leaning back on his seat, eyes staring at the heavens above him, lamenting on the changes of the world presented in his eyes by these... aliens.
Everything has changed... becoming rather more unfamiliar to him.
Even the breeze feels different, the sensation and the scent it carries in the air have a blatant smell to it which indicates even the smallest particles have been altered by them.
She called herself the Order of the World, the law that brought justice and usurped the tyranny of the Dragons.
The world shall now live under her law.
The law of a God.
The figure sighed and shut his eyes close; her voice reverberates in his ears, and he could feel her approaching him closer, and closer... till their distance was inches apart. She was this close to touching him, but a barrier stopped her from stepping outside of her boundary, and she remained passive before straddling the vacant seat across from him. He could feel her gaze on him, yet he remained indifferent.
The sound of something being poured made him snap his eyes open.
"Does it not satisfy you?" the silver-haired goddess hummed a tune of curiosity; she has always been curious about him, he was an enigma in her eyes, he was a being that possessed something beyond her comprehension.
"In the end, violence must be met with violence, huh."
He finally spoke, yet that did not irk her whatsoever.
No, of course not, since she has some adoration towards him.
"You were the last obstacle in my plan..." The Goddess admitted to him with a respectful tone, and yet he could feel her disappointment. "Yet you refused to take part in the battle for the throne. Tell me... why? Does it not anger you to see them perish?" She asked, bombarding the figure across from her with more questions, and each question that was being asked made him chuckle.
"If we're talking about a chess piece," His voice lingered for a while, pausing midway to look at her in the eyes. The figure was staring, devoid of emotions, only honesty. Then she saw his smile, one that brought her heart to accelerate. "Then... I am merely a King that observes the world from afar. It shall not fall under my rules, nor do I need to intervene with mortal matters. I live under my own law, not anyone... not even you, fake God."
That is right.
His world dies the moment he took over that mantle; he terraformed the planet and returned lives. He had all the power to return it back to normal, yet he did not; he had enough.
The world as of now is nothing but the remainder of his failure in protecting them.
That is why... whether the world falls again one day, he can just restore it back into the cycle of samsara since this time he has no connection with anyone.
The figure then moved his hand and created five golden chalices and pulled the wine jar towards his direction. Then like a sentient being, it poured down the crimson liquid into his chalice. Taking one sip, the figure glanced towards the heavens above, as if looking at Naruto, with a smile the figure then chuckled.
"I shall amuse you in this game of chess, Heavenly Principle. But you must remember, your boundaries cannot overstep mine... and if you do, I shall vanquish this world you call Heavens and Earth."
Naruto snapped his eyes open, finding himself staring at the wooden ceiling above.
Another bizarre dream.
He noted most of them were memories he had no recollection of.
These memories seemed to be rushing towards him bit by bit ever since he encountered Havria, and became more prominent after he destroyed the Divine Nail. Was it his past, or perhaps the side effect of thwarting God's plan?
The shinobi could feel a headache coming on, so he sighed and pushed the thoughts away.
For a moment, let us just focus on the present.
His surroundings were still pitch dark, meaning not much time had passed since he went to sleep. He cast his gaze to the side, noticing the vacant bed where Havria was supposed to be. The blonde-haired shinobi hummed a soft tune in the tranquility of the night, then he closed his eyes, expanding his chakra across the region of Vindagnyr.
His lips twitched into a smile.
"It seems even she wants to change her fate."
Deep in the woods, she stood across a tree trunk, her hair soaked, and her dress drenched with sweat. Her breath heaved, taking a moment to rest as she clenched her scarred hands with burn marks on them. She found herself dizzy, losing her balance for a moment as she hit the ground below her.
Despite that the Goddess of Salt ignored her fatigue, rising back from her fall, standing on her feet, swaying with each step, clenching her hands, ignoring the pain, and muffling out a few words from sheer exhaustion and annoyance.
"C'mon, c'mon..."
Havria gritted and tried to summon her newfound power.
Her struggles went unnoticed by the shinobi as he observed from above the tree, unaware of his gaze as he watched with interest. Blue flames seemingly ignited from her left palm, almost like a wisp before disappearing in her last attempt. Out of anger, she thrust her right hand, cryo energy gathers in her right palm, forming a shape of a lance, swiping her hand with a thrust she sends it flying towards the tree across her, and with a loud thud pierced through the trunk by the tip before falling to the ground and shattered in a particle of ice.
"How are you able to use fire and ice...? I thought your element was just salt?"
Havria gasped in surprise, turning around to see the blonde was already behind her. His hand helped her stay on her feet as she was grateful for his support.
"Well?"
The Goddess of Salt flinched at the question, trying to find an answer, but she could not think of anything.
"I... I don't know," the silverette replied, admitting her incompetence in answering his curiosity.
"Alright then." The blonde nodded and patted her head gently.
The goddess closed her eyes and smiled at him apologetically.
"Did my training wake you up?"
"Hmm," the blonde tilted his head to look at her, observing her body, to be precise, the energy circulating in her system. It wasn't chakra per se. However, when she used her elemental energy, it felt rather familiar.
Maybe she uses something that is like chakra...?
"That energy circulating within you... Is it not chakra?"
She blinked at him before humming in thought.
"I... I think mortals call it a third eye... it's the source of my power. Unlike us Gods, mortals have something called a vision. These visions are granted by the Celestia, and because of a vision, a mortal can use elemental energy according to the element bestowed upon them."
"Element? So, you were an exception to such a case."
Havria nodded.
"It appears that was the case..."
"Won't this Celestia notice such an anomaly?" Havria thought it over for a moment. Then she answered.
"I think... they do?"
"You sounded uncertain." The shinobi chuckled, causing her to pouted and he continued. "The energy you use feels rather familiar to mine. Can you feel it?" He asked, showing her an example by lifting his hand and a ball of energy circulating in the palm of his hand. "This is chakra. It's an energy that exists within me. I was born with it and molded it beyond anyone's comprehension."
A burst of its energy caused the air to shift; the wind felt warmer, and she could feel dust particles flying around her. Sparks of lightning danced in the corners of her eyes while a soothing cold energy coated her body. Her sight shifted to him as she tried to pinpoint the sources of such energy, yet she failed. She was an incompetent God, after all. Perhaps Rex Lapis might know the answer, and Guizhong... the latter might be keen on getting to the bottom of the being that is currently standing in front of her.
"This is just the basic elements."
"Y-you can go beyond that?"
Naruto snorted at the question.
"I can... but what's the point of that? No one in this world stood a chance against me."
He might sound arrogant to others, but to her, he was genuine with his answer. He wasn't showing off, after all, since she knew he could back that statement.
"This chakra... can I learn it?"
Naruto grinned at her question.
"Do you want to?" She was perplexed by the sudden excitement in his tone. This wasn't the first time he got excited, mind you, but for some reason, she could feel his excitement was enticed by curiosity.
"Then let's spar, Goddess of Salt."
"H-huh!?" Harvia's eyes widened in surprise, finding the thought of fighting Naruto frightening. She wasn't a fighter, nor was she powerful enough to stand her ground against someone like him... even in the past, she was nothing but dust in the presence of other Gods; hence the reason she fled from the so-called Archon War. She wasn't that brave in the first place, and instead of using her fist, she preferred to use her brain, and took the chance to hide somewhere where war cannot touch them. But in the end... her naivety led to the destruction of her throne.
"C'mon, you have people to protect, the Vindagnyr is under your domain. The day will come when even I won't be able to help... and when that day comes..." Naruto gestured his hand, challenging her to accept his challenge, bringing her back to the harsh reality of life, reprimanding her of her status once more and her responsibility, not just as a God but a leader of her followers. She was an example to Vindagnyr, and if their Goddess is this weak, then they have no chance of winning over this harsh reality.
"I can protect my people... no more running away." Havria nodded, finishing the sentence for him, with a determined expression on her face she followed suit after him and stood her ground, and despite her exhaustion, she tried to brush it off.
Naruto smirked.
"Good." The Shinobi acknowledged her for her efforts, motioning his hand as golden energy engulfed his hand before she heard a bell chiming in the air. Confused, she looked at him for an answer, and he showed the bell to her.
"I want you to try getting this bell away from me, by using any methods. Go with an intent to kill if you wish to take it. I won't move from this spot, so..." the shinobi explained and finished his sentence with a clasp of his hands. "Do your best."
Havria's eyes narrowed and nodded at the rule.
"The time limit is sunrise." He informed and strapped the bell to his right waist. "Begin!""
Hearing that, the Goddess of Salt exploded into action.
With a swift movement, she lifted her hand, and in an instant, the ground beneath them transformed into a sea of swirling salt, rushing towards the blonde before solidifying into an imposing barrier. A daring move, accompanied by a fierce determination burning in her eyes.
Without a moment's hesitation, Havria took a deep breath and charged towards him. Her left hand extended towards the bell, while her other conjured a shimmering polearm for distraction, its ethereal glow casting an otherworldly aura around her.
The shinobi, however, remained unfazed.
With a deep breath, he flashed a confident smile. "Try again," he announced, unleashing a sudden pulse that froze her in place. In that frozen moment, Havria blinked in surprise, then confusion. She found herself standing exactly where she started, traces of her lingering power around Naruto's feet.
'It wasn't an illusion...?'
"What's wrong? Didn't I tell you to start?" Naruto taunted, motioning towards her with a dismissive thumbs-down. "C'mon, this is boring, boo! You bored me, Havria!"
The goddess felt the tick marks forming on the back of her head.
"C'mon, look, I'm not even moving. Don't tell me you're scared!" His provocation fueled her annoyance. "Havria! Hurry up! It's still a long way till sunrise!"
"Ahhggg, fine!" Havria grumbled, determination igniting a fiery spark in her eyes. This time, she dashed towards the blonde, every step calculated for maximum impact. When close, she unleashed her cryo energy, a bone-chilling frost creeping with each advancing step. The ground beneath her froze, encasing Naruto's arms in ice, effectively holding him in place. With precise control, she then employed her pyro energy, the rope holding the bell on his left waist succumbing to the searing flames.
The shinobi smirked.
"Much better," he praised, his voice carrying a hint of satisfaction. Unexpectedly, Havria heard him speak from below, startling her. Unlike her first attempt, this time she found herself plummeting from the air.
"Wahhh, what's this?!" The silverette panicked and produced a sea of salt in desperation to cushion her fall, achieving something but not without its cost. The goddess winced in pain as she glared at the blonde. "I thought you weren't moving!"
"I didn't," the shinobi smirked, a glint of amusement in his eyes. "Now let's begin your third attempt, goddess." Havria felt the tick mark reappearing on the back of her head as she stood back on her feet, her mind now actively calculating her battle plans.
As time sped by, Havria found herself panting on the ground, covered in bruises, her dress torn in several places. "H-how..." She paused, struggling to catch her breath. "How do you keep on doing that?"
"I can control the space," he answered nonchalantly, causing the goddess to grumble to herself. "Anyway, Havria, if you're planning to train in the future, wear something nimble and suitable for mobility in the long run."
What was she thinking wearing a dress during training?
"W-well, I'm sorry! It wasn't me who asked for a sparring!"
Meh...
Naruto averted his gaze and looked at the sun rising from its slumber. Unlike a week ago, the entire Vindagnyr is now shrouded in its warmth, leaving no shadow behind as the entire region was bathed in its golden light.
"Time's up."
Havria gritted her teeth and sighed exasperatedly, lying down on the ground as she gazed at the sky in silence.
"I... I can't believe I couldn't even graze you at all..."
How pathetic she must've looked in his eyes.
Naruto chuckled as he joined her side, patting her head for the second time today, to which she pouted. "You can try again later. Don't give up now, okay? You will eventually get better."
"Okay..." she barely responded, feeling the exhaustion getting to her. The goddess could feel her eyes getting heavier as she closed them rest, leaning her head on his shoulder as the shinobi helped her stand back on her feet before carrying her on his back.
"We're leaving in the afternoon. So, get some rest now."
"Okay..." Havria nodded softly, burying her face on his back, expressing her own disappointment in an audible whisper. "Sorry... for disappointing you again..."
"You'll get better eventually, besides... you never disappoint me."
If the Goddess had opened her eyes, she would've seen his genuine smile. The warmth emanating from his body calmed her mind as she found herself more comfortable, wishing this moment could last forever.
"Thank you for everything, Naruto..."
Naruto stood next to Varuch, the King of Vindagnry, witnessing as the shinobi created life right in front of him, ranging from livestock to vegetables. The blonde self-proclaimed mortal even changed the terrain to create a river which connected to the open sea, and the two were currently staring at the man-made waterfall.
"This should do it."
"I... I umm... No, ah-"
Yeah, he was outrightly speechless.
Naruto couldn't help but chuckle. "No need to look that amazed; I'm not the only one in my village that can do this."
"I-is that so... Umm, once again I couldn't express enough gratitude for what you have done for us... Lord Naruto." Varuch bowed down in respect, which caused the Shinobi to sigh. Nonetheless, he merely smiled at the man's gesture.
The King noticed something was troubling the shinobi, however.
"I feel like I'm missing something."
Varuch tilted his head, wondering what he meant by that.
Naruto hummed, putting his hand on top of his head, tousling his hair, eyes gazing at the sky. The heavens seemed to reprimand him of something, something that can protect Vindagnyr since both Havria and himself are going to be away for some time.
Something powerful, like a Biju perhaps? Hmm? The Bijuu?
"Lord Naruto?"
"Ahh, that's it!" Naruto gasped in sudden realization, and without a moment's hesitation, he unleashed a torrent of chakra. The sheer force of his action sent shockwaves rippling through the air, causing a visible disturbance in the atmosphere.
Varuch, the King, felt the breeze around him intensify, and the very leaves on the trees rustled in a symphony of anticipation.
The ambient temperature soared, as if the shinobi had harnessed the very essence of fire itself. An ethereal blue aura enveloped him, flickering with intensity but not consuming him. It was a mesmerizing sight, a dance of power that left Varuch and all who witnessed it in awe.
The shockwaves echoed through the surroundings, causing the leaves to shiver and the air to hum with the resonance of the shinobi unleashed chakra.
Varuch's eyes widened in astonishment, captivated by the raw display of power before him.
"Naruto! What are you doing! Everyone could feel your energy from miles away!"
Princess Jane chuckled at the way her Goddess smacked the Shinobi on the head, seemingly like a mother scolding her son. They were that close with each other. She couldn't help but envy their relationship. Had she been a goddess herself, would there ever be an opportunity for her to meet him, standing by his side as equals?
Havria stared at her hand and hummed in thought. It felt like she was hitting a brick wall.
"Is it time already?"
Havria nodded and sighed.
"What were you doing anyway? Flaring your energy like that... do you want other Gods to come here and obliterate this place?"
"Oh, don't worry about that; I was just calling out for a friend."
She tilted her head and looked at him in genuine confusion.
"...a friend?"
"Meh, forget it. Let's bid farewell to everyone and get going." The shinobi shrugged off her question like it was nothing, staring into her eyes before noticing something was off.
"Did you get yourself a new attire?"
"Hehe, you seem to notice it now?" the goddess giggled, gracefully twirling before him to reveal her latest ensemble. This time, she was adorned in a battle dress adorned with exquisite golden ornaments—an undeniable masterpiece that seamlessly merged regality with functionality. The bodice boasted meticulously crafted golden filigree, intricately forming patterns that seemed to narrate tales of valor and strength. These weren't mere decorative elements; each golden ornament strategically enhanced the dress's protective qualities. The fabric itself, a blend of lightweight yet durable materials, allowed for effortless movement amidst the chaos of combat. The sleeves were ingeniously designed for practicality, ensuring both freedom of movement and the swift execution of precise maneuvers. Ingeniously concealed within the folds of the skirt were reinforced layers of armor, discreetly fortifying the dress without compromising its aesthetic allure.
As she twirled, the dress not only unveiled its aesthetic beauty but also served as a captivating showcase of its practical prowess.
"Where's mine?"
"I don't think you need it." Havria commented with disdain which caused him to hum in disappointment. "Joking aside, this is yours', and they came up with a pair of coats too."
The blonde stare at the folded clothing materials, taking it out for display he stare at it before nodding in satisfaction.
"This looks great, time for me to change my old garments anyway." He chuckled and accepted the gift, winking at Jane as the later smiled with her cheeks reddened.
In the desolate wasteland, far removed from the region of Mondstadt, the barren earth trembled beneath an impending sandstorm. The sky darkened as swirling grains of sand gathered in a turbulent dance, casting an otherworldly haze over the desolation. In the midst of this arid expanse, a pair of pupils with reptilian slits glowed like amber orbs, piercing the air as they fixated on the heavens.
As the sandstorm intensified, its gritty tendrils obscuring the horizon, a palpable energy surged across Teyvat. The winds carried with them a resonance that seemed to echo through the very soul of the observer. For her, it was a sensation familiar yet distant, a feeling etched in the tapestry of memories spanning countless years. It was almost dreamlike, but the undeniable reality of it grounded her.
In that solitary moment, she cast aside the shroud of hatred that had enveloped her for so long, directed towards the enigmatic Seven. The surge of energy, ancient and profound, spoke of a force that transcended the ordinary. She remembered who he was, what he was—a presence that had left an indelible mark on her existence.
Her gaze then averted towards the dense forest in the distance.
It seemed that one had abandoned its true purpose in maintaining order in this world, which she had promised to govern alongside the others. But for him to call them out now, after millennia of ignoring their plea, was vexing.
How laughable... and yet, for some reason, her heart yearned for his warmth.
It closed its eyes before going deeper into the depths of Sumeru.
Naruto stares at his reflection on the mirror, hand rubbing on his chin, taking notes of his appearance which hasn't changed that much.
The only that changed however was the length of his hair that has grown slightly longer...and his whisker like marks that has become less prominent. The shinobi hummed in thought, he never took notice of his self...the only thing he has in his mind was searching for answers and as the days grows the bigger it became. He noticed the dust on his neck collar causing him to swipe them away with his hand and with a satisfied smile he nodded.
"I think I'm done." He announced, stepping out of the wooden house he made from Wood release and was greeted by the sights of the Princess and Havria themselves.
The two were staring at him with stars in their eyes.
For what Naruto wore was exquisite garment boasts a main color of pristine white, a canvas upon which the richness of gold ornaments unfolds like a symphony of opulence.
Naruto's attire was a masterpiece, an exquisite garment showcasing a pristine white as its main color—a canvas upon which the opulence of gold ornaments unfolded like a symphony. The fabric chosen for this masterful creation was a lustrous silk, its smooth and flowing texture enveloping the wearer in an ethereal aura. The white silk symbolized purity and serenity, its sheen adding a touch of understated luxury.
The kimono, with its gracefully flowing silhouette, exuded a sense of regality as it swept the floor with every step, creating a mesmerizing interplay of fabric and light. Delicate embroidered patterns of gilded threads traced sinuous curves along the edges of the sleeves and hem, reminiscent of ancient motifs that spoke of tradition and heritage. These golden embellishments caught the light, casting a radiant glow that bestowed an aura of celestial elegance upon the wearer.
The obi, a wide sash cinching the kimono at the waist, was a masterpiece in itself. Woven from the finest silk, it featured a subtle yet elaborate pattern of gold brocade. The golden threads formed a tapestry of floral and geometric designs, wrapping around the waist with a precision that highlighted the wearer's silhouette. Tying into a sumptuous bow at his back, the obi added a final touch of refinement.
The cuffs were adorned with intricate motifs that danced along the edges, their brilliance capturing the eye and elevating the overall design. The wide and flowing sleeves allowed for a sense of movement, enhancing the kimono's regal presence. As Naruto stood there, his attire painted a picture of elegance, tradition, and a touch of celestial allure.
A bit of an overkill he could say.
"You look great Lord Naruto." Jane cleared her throat, praising his image as she saw him raised an eyebrow and then altering his gaze to look at the silence Havria.
"Hmm... it suits you, but the lack of orange feels kinda off."
"I know, right!" Naruto chuckled with a bit of disappointment.
They were wearing matching outfits, but he still had the coat in his hand and would put it on once they stepped out of Vindagnyr.
"There is some room for improvement, and I will keep your preferences in mind the next time we make you another outfit, yes." Jane nodded, garnering his attention as he grinned at her.
"Heh... no worries, we'll come to visit. So, you better make something new and less bright, I guess? Maybe darker in terms of color? That way I can blend with nature more easily."
"Says the guy with too much orange on them." The Goddess snorted in amusement.
Jane stood behind them with a sad smile on her face. She couldn't help but worry that things might not be too comfortable the moment they left the border of Vindagnyr, but she could only hope this peaceful moment would last at least for some time, if not forever.
Unbeknownst to her, the former Hokage had taken everything into consideration. He tilted his head and glanced at the princess from the corner of his eyes. "Don't worry about the details, but nothing will come in your way." He grinned, assuring her by showing off a bizarre sight witnessed by everyone present. They saw him flare out a bolt of lightning, traversing over the earth to the sky, ascending in its wake with calamity. The purple light blasted at a speed beyond their eyes could follow, but they saw the flash of lightning that hit the sky.
Hit?
A barrier veil covered the entire region of Vindagnyr, consuming the attack without any troubles whatsoever. "Nothing could touch this Kingdom as long as the barrier stands... not even the Divine nail that brought your civilization almost to ashes," he informed the princess, though he kept the other part to himself. "Nothing unless... a God or Celestia level of threat... could breach it."
Besides, if the latter ever happened, he believed Varuch would do his part, and the shinobi would step in to protect them from such calamity.
His assurance of her people's safety made her relax as she nodded, grateful for everything they had done.
The three walked into the center of Vindagnyr, the city that was soon to be known as Helios, which means light, representing what he had done to restore the vitality of Vindagnyr. He bid farewell to his people, also giving out a little speech about the Will of Fire, which later in the future was known as their foundation.
The Kingdom where the lights would forever vanquish the darkness and protect its citizens from harm.
"Let's get going now," he told Havria as the latter nodded, waving her hand one last time and walking away, their backs facing Jane as the latter found herself crying. The Kingdom that contained the kindness and warmth of a grieving Goddess.
"I think we're lost," Havria sighed, palming her face to hide her reddened cheek from embarrassment.
She was supposed to be the guide, but what could she do since she never stepped out from Liyue?
Her left eye twitched when she heard him laughing. The latter was obviously enjoying it. But he couldn't blame her exactly; everywhere they went were freaking white plains, with a density of pine trees, and the ground was covered in a blanket of snow. The temperature dropped every slightly, seeing nothing but snow that colluded the entire land.
"This is Mondstadt? Looks exactly like Vindagnyr!"
"No, not yet... we're still far from the city."
Well, she was at least knowledgeable regarding that.
But Havria was kind of worried for the fate of the God of Storm. The Goddess of Salt and Snow sighed; it feels like something was off... but what exactly is it? Did she forget something important? Something... important, huh?
A chilling sensation greeted them as the ground trembled under its wake; the blizzard grew thicker until they were covered in a thick haze and complete darkness.
"Step back," the shinobi told her, which caused Havria to jump on his side, and be on guard, her eyes flickering from right to left until a presence greeted them.
Its voice resonated with an undeniable authority, a commanding presence that sent a shiver down the spine of nature itself. As the utterance left its otherworldly lips, the blizzard, initially swirling in a dance of frosty elegance, intensified into a tempest. Their eyes locked onto the pair of piercing, glowing blue orbs that seemed to hold the power of an Arctic storm.
"Thou dare entered the Den of the Great King of the North." The voice declared, each word cutting through the biting wind with an authority that echoed through the frozen landscape.
"Heh, you made this way easier to solve this problem," Naruto responded calmly, advancing, close to the distance until his face was mere inches away from the majestic Lupus Boreas. The air crackled with tension as the two forces, one human and the other divine, faced off in a silent exchange of determination.
Lupus Boreas, in all his majestic glory, towered over Naruto, his eyes gleaming with a mixture of stern disapproval and an undeniable excitement that manifested in a thunderous wolfish roar. The sheer audacity of a mortal, a mere shinobi, standing before the sovereign of the North with unyielding resolve seemed to intrigue the ancient being.
"Not even Decarabian dared to step its feet on my LAND! Yet a newborn God dared to challenge me?"
"Stop being dramatic; you seek this outcome yourself. I shall now retaliate,"
Naruto smirked and Boreas narrowed his eyes.
The tension in the air snapped like a taut wire, and with a swift motion, Naruto struck first.
The clash of mortal and divine unleashed a cataclysmic spectacle, a battle of titans reverberating across the vast expanse of Teyvat. Sending shockwaves that could be felt for miles, announcing the commencement of a confrontation that is stretched across the North.
Author Note: Phew, can't believe the chapter grew even longer. I won't even be surprised if at some point I write per chapter with more than 5K lol. Regardless of that, there are certain things I want to inform everyone before I get on the Q&A. First, let's talk about the pairing. I'm thinking of adding a total of five girls to the harem, if not maybe seven. But then again, the focus on this won't be the pairing, so don't worry about these harems, and I gotta agree that harem is kinda cringey too. But yeah, five or seven girls. For now, it's Havria, Eula, and Ei... If readers want to recommend someone to me, drop by a review and tell your reasons as to why you want him to end up with them.
Second, I hope there will be more interaction with this fic, more reviews from my dear readers would be great, and I welcome criticism with open arms.
Third, the problems ongoing with fanfiction persist. It's annoying to say the least, and I hate the fact that the admin of this site seems to ignore our pleas. So, I'm thinking of moving out to somewhere else. Any suggestions? My beta wanted me to move to QQ, but I'm not too certain. There are lists like , Wattpad, and AO3, but I'm not sure. Let me know what you guys think.
Fourth, I'm planning to revive the Strongest Human. However, I won't be the one in charge of updating it. I'm leaving that to my beta reader while I act as a supervisor, meaning the story will go through here and be read by me before making it into publication. Good news for the fans that enjoyed a Naruto x High School DxD stories since most readers keep begging me to update it.
With that out of the way, let's get on with the Q & A.
(GUEST) Flarewolf: I have some ideas in mind, and I'm sure I can come up with something. A question back at you though, do you want the story to be solely Naruto x Kiana or a harem?
KRKing: A great idea you have there, no promises though since the direction I'm going is opposite to that. There's indeed something going on with the two, and the readers will be able to see the relationship they have later as the story progresses. But I gotta agree with one fact; the sages need some beating and maybe be killed? It's annoying to see they're still alive despite everything they have done; the sins they have committed are honestly unforgivable.
rick12: That's true, Yae Miko is different from Yae Sakura. The two merely share similar features with one another but have different personalities. Regarding the Primordial One, I would say if he used his plans right then the chance of him stopping the current Naruto is there. In terms of power, I would say he is able to go toe to toe with Naruto, but not in the long run since the Naruto in this story of mine is just special.
ZhongEi: That's still a long way to go, hopefully you're still there to support me hehe. Did you know? I'm from Indonesia too! If you wish to talk about certain stuff, feel free to DM me ZhongEi 😊
Naruto-CCC: Спасибо за вашу поддержку! Надеюсь, вы будете с нами, когда история будет развиваться!
Well? Did I get the translation right? Hopefully yes, if not, I'd apologize since I don't speak Russian.
AetherialQ: Ahh yes, Tingyun, our beloved Foxian. She struck a mark within our hearts, and to see her snap her neck like that shattered our dreams. Did you know, according to Fu Xuan, Tingyun is real, and she guaranteed us the Tingyun we met in Xianzhou Luofu is Phantylia? Regardless, let's just hope the real Tingyun is okay, and one day Yukong can find her remains…even if she became a body that has long left the living.
Now, the fanfic will have Jingliu as the pairing. I will probably add more, and the idea you gave about Tingyun is something I can agree with since I like her as well. We will see though, thanks for your support!
Redlox2: I saw your review hehe, glad you're still following me! I hope you're doing fine, and please don't abandon your stories XD
NatsuErzaDragneelSusanoo: Hmm, a good ranking system between the five of them. Gotta agrees with that. But I believe Nuivellette cannot solo the seven archons in weakened form at all. I'd say in his prime form he might be able to take on three if not four archons without GNOSIS at the same time. The archons, although not as powerful as a sovereign, have good chemistry in working with each other. I assumed this was the case if we talked about the fall of Khanneriah. Dunno what a prime Nuivellette do by himself since strength alone cannot win a war or in this case a battle. But yeah, you can also say the opposite of that too lol since the Seven Sovereign lost to the Primordial."
