"You okay?" I asked as Dabura and I stood atop the floating corpse of a Kraken, to which the Demon King gave a slow nod while taking another deep breath and letting it out slowly.
"Yeah, just…we are never doing that again."
"Oh, don't worry. That was just for the one time." I answered back with a shrug and the demon nodded before he smiled as he unleashed the full brunt of his power.
I rolled my eyes at the demon trying to see his new limits while humming at how much it was going up, almost nearing the level of Super Buu when I fought him in the mindscape before the demon grinned as he turned towards me.
"Can you do this with everyone?"
"Yes, but I won't. This was a one-time thing just because I needed the extra power to take out Demigra. Speaking of Demigra…" I trailed off as I looked down at the cloak of the demonic sorcerer that I was wearing.
The new clothing was nothing compared to the fact that my magical powers had nearly tripled while my ki had grown by half of what it was before, my mind marvelling at the sheer number of skills the sorcerer had that were now mine.
"So, you now have the added powers of Demigra to your arsenal?" Dabura asked and I grinned as I looked in the direction of where I could sense Mechikabura's energy as well as the potent chaotic magical power that I had missed before.
"Not just that, but I also know where the Evil Third Eye is. Grab on." Holding my hand out to the shocked demon, he didn't waste a single moment as he grabbed onto me before I pulled us through space itself.
"Huh?" However, we were too late and my eyes widened as Mechikabura gave me a manic grin before shifting himself through space once more and while I wanted to go after him, I frowned as I saw the young female lying on the floor along with the headless demon besides her.
Appearing next to them with a thought, I frowned as I placed a hand on her and healed the bruises on her body, her weak breathing growing stronger with each second until she didn't sound as if she was going to pass away after each breath.
Looking over at the headless demon, though, I frowned as I looked around and didn't see any sign of its head, looking back at Dabura only to not be surprised as the demon frowned and shook his head.
"You may have regenerative abilities, but his soul is most definitely gone to the void. It's best to not worry." Dabura answered as he blew up the body and I nodded with a sigh before picking up the demon girl and handing her over to a confused Dabura.
A moment later, I placed a hand on his shoulder and the two of us found ourselves floating in front of Warp-Sama, who looked down at us as I created a ki bubble around us.
"The First Demon World, Warp-sama. The Code is A101."
"As you wish, great Majin Buu~!" A moment later, I grinned as the effects of the warping process were mitigated, Dabura looking surprised as I flew us over to the First Demon Realm's portal while nodding at the surprised fish to the side.
"How did you do that?" Dabura asked as the three of us were shot out into the skies of the First Demon World, to which I grinned while waving goodbye to the happy Warp-Sama.
"A little combination of time reversal and spacial shifting on the bubble. I simply locked us away in an alternate dimension while reversing the effects the shifting of the space-time continuum had on that specific dimension."
"…Where did you even get the ability to do that?" He asked as the two of us landed in front of the castle and I smiled at the nobles while shrugging as the two of us walked into the castle.
"The time spell from the Demigra and the spatial spell from the South Supreme Kai. The guy might have been a big dude, but there's a reason he was known as the strongest of them all in both magic and ki."
"Dabura dear~ Tell me why there is a child in your arms?" However, before the Demon King could continue asking questions, I smirked as the demon froze in his tracks when his wife walked towards us.
"Uh, dear, this is-!"
"A child we rescued from Mechikabura. We found another demon with her, but he was unfortunately already gone and the Dark King got away with his Third Eye." I decided to save the man and shook my head as the woman's bubbling anger was immediately replaced by a frown.
Continuing with her walk towards us, she pulled the girl's scarf down slightly before both her and Dabura looked in surprise at the collar around her neck while I rose an eyebrow as I saw how it was suppressing her magical energy.
"Is that a training device?"
"No, it's…it's a Magic Collar that allows us to track anyone of the Third Demon World."
"…You guys were slave owners, weren't you?" I muttered and sighed as the two of them simply frowned before their eyes widened as I reached forward and placed a hand on it.
"Uh, let me take it o-!"
"Kai Kai." A moment later, the collar was off her neck and in my grasp before I blew it up with a ki blast, shaking my head as I saw the slight bruising on the girl's neck before I healed it.
"From the way you wanted to take it off, you designed them, weren't you?
"After I ordered her to. The Second and Third Demon World had joined my father in our attempts to cause a rebellion and thus, we had to make sure they didn't try a coup de tat under any circumstances."
"Oh, I understand. War changes everyone in some way, shape or form. Now then, I need to do something first." I spoke as I clenched my right fist in front of me and frowned as a large Three-Star Dragon Ball appeared in front of me.
"What?! You could just do that the entire time?" Dabura asked with a frown, but I ignored as I reached forward and felt for the mystical energy inside the orb only to sigh as I didn't feel anything.
"I know why Mechikabura took only one Dragon Ball." I said as I clenched my other hand and surprised the two when I completely shattered the orb.
"Uh…why did you just…?"
"Because it's nothing more than a decoration now. The mystical energy that it contained to preserve itself against time and damage has been drained by the Dark King. He's meaning to combine that energy with himself along with the Evil Third Eye to get a boost in power."
"That…would make sense. Hah, why could you not have come with good news?" Arinsu muttered with a sigh and I smirked as Dabura gave a chuckle.
"I'll leave you two to talk while I take her to get some rest." I said as I took the girl from Dabura, who nodded as he handed her to me before I made my way to my room.
'First order of business: Put a few clones in my room to watch over her and then check up on the other Tamagamis. Then, it's time to see if Towa has not thought of anything that would work against that damn demon.'
"So, Demigra is dead?…Shame, I would have loved to see it." I rolled my eyes at Towa's words as the woman was standing in front of a map that showed the vast expanse of the First Demon World, Gomah snorting from where he was sitting as he nodded.
"Indeed, sister. Did he suffer?"
"Considering I absorbed him into myself, he is most definitely suffering for eternity." I answered and the little demon nodded before frowning as he looked back at the map.
"That leaves only one enemy: Mechikabura. The only issue is that with his teleportation abilities as a Glind and his Time Magic, he could be in several places at the same time."
"Not to mention that's only with how he was before. With the Evil Third Eye and the Dragon Ball's energy, he is most definitely strong enough to be in more than several dozen places at the same time. Speaking of the Dragon Balls…"
"Do not worry. I've destroyed the balls and directed the Tamagami to protect the young girl in my room. You have nothing to fear from them."
"How can you even destroy Dragon Balls? I thought they were nigh-indestructible." Gomah said with a frown and I made a so-so gesture as I sat down.
"They are, but if one is not only stronger than the creator of the Dragon Balls but also has the capabilities to dispel their enchantments, draining the mystical energy from the balls and absorbing it into my own was child's play."
"Speaking of child, what do you plan to do with the girl? She appears to have been someone from the Third Demon World and those of that world hold a very strong grudge against us from the First Demon World."
"Well, considering she most likely lost everyone dear to her, I think giving her a home to sleep in is my first priority. After that, if she wants to stay here, I don't mind taking care of her until she can stand on her own feet and if she wants to head back home, I'll personally escort her there. Ah, that reminds me. Do you have any way of turning Warp-sama off so that he can't use it to get here?"
"He shouldn't be able to without a code, but this is Mechikabura we're talking about here. I'll go and turn it off. Sister, I'll leave the planning to you."
"As usual." She said with a smile and I chuckled as Gomah rolled his eyes before we turned back to the map as Gomah left the room.
"So, how do you think Mechikabura is going to approach us now?" I asked and she frowned as she looked at the map before shaking her head.
"The area around the tree are nothing but open barren plains so there is no place to hide. However, Mechikabura is far too prideful to hide from us especially after he has gotten his Third Eye back so he will most definitely attack us head on."
"Therefore, it is best we gather our forces in preparation for a full-on war, correct?"
"Yes, that is the correct course of action but also a very dangerous plan as anyone that isn't us two or our brother is going to be nothing more than collateral damage."
"Thus, we need to fly out the moment his energy is registered and take him out on our own." I spoke with a nod and she nodded in agreement before I blinked as she gave me a disdainful look.
"What's with the look?"
"It's not at you. Your cloak reminds me too much of Demigra."
"Well, it is his."
"Precisely my point." She said before rolling her eyes with a smirk as I popped the collar with a smug grin.
"Well, you better get used to it because I look cool with it."
"…That is true." She agreed with a nod and I chuckled before we turned to the door as it burst open to reveal Gomah wheezing for breath whilst stumbling in.
"Brother, what happened for you to be this out of breath?"
"M-Mechi…kabura…destroyed…the Tunnel Shields." In the blink of an eye, Towa placed a hand on my shoulder and the two of us shifted through space to appear besides Dabura who was floating outside of the giant tree they called home.
However, like the Demon King, my attention was entirely on the pillar of mystical energy slowly fading away as a faint figure floated down from it.
Unlike his usual hunched-over form, Mechikabura stood tall and nearly as tall as Dabura and I with his wrinkled skin now clear and pristine. His pure white hair shone radiantly as it flowed in the wind behind him and his attire had changed to that of a Supreme Kai's except his was a pitch black with deep scarlet red lining the edges and a black and red cape billowing behind him.
Even with the vast distance between us, I frowned as I felt Mechikabura's magical energy and ki just barely surpassing my own, the two of us staring each other down as he smirked while I glared.
A moment later, the world trembled as the two of us vanished and appeared in front of each other with a clash, Mechikabura laughing as he raised an arm to block my punch while I frowned as I had reached to the side to block his kick.
The air around us spun before Towa appeared behind the Glind with her sceptre aimed at his head, but I quickly tore myself in half as Mechikabura vanished and left me to take the place.
Dabura however was waiting on that opportunity as the Demon King appeared in front of Mechikabura with his sword held high, spitting out a glowing glob that the Dark King blocked with an energy shield before I grinned as the energy itself turned to stone.
"You can't use your shields against me, Mechikabura!" Dabura roared as he swung down and the Glind simply looked amused as he shifted to the side before raising a finger at Dabura.
However, I appeared in front of the Demon King with my own finger raised before firing off the Death Beam I had charged up, the Glind unleashing an iridescent blast of his own that collided with my beam.
The moment the two beams clashed, my eyes widened as the impact area warped before the combined energies vanished, looking down at my chest to see it glowing brightly right before I kicked Dabura away while tearing off my hand and throwing it to the side.
Regenerating from the hand I threw while watching as my first body was erased within mere seconds, I turned to Mechikabura who lifted a finger to reveal a dark purple miasma swirling around it.
"Dark Devourer. It's not quite on the level of the Hakai ability of the Gods of Destruction, but while theirs destroy your mind, body and soul, mine simply ages you to the point of extinction."
"Towa?"
"I can't reflect it with my time magic because he'll just do it back and make sure I can't do it the next time." Towa answered as her eyes were illuminated with a violet glow, Mechikabura giving us an amused look as I frowned while Dabura went into a stance with his sabre held above his head and the tip pointed at the Dark King.
"Now, surrender and I might feel incline to spare your worthless lives."
"Ha! Why don't you surrender and I might decide to absorb you instead?" I spoke with a grin and the Dark King snorted as he raised his arms to the side before a pillar of violet miasma erupted from his body.
"Hahaha~! Then let us see which is superior! You, the genetic masterpiece that mortals have made or I, a Glind made to perfection!"
A/N:And we end off with a cliffhanger! Next chapter, battle for the Demon Realm.
