Part 2:

When Jesse awoke the next morning, she felt... different. She sat up slowly, rubbing her head as a strange sensation washed over her body. Her muscles ached, but in a way that felt oddly satisfying, like they had been worked and stretched in ways she couldn't quite understand. She looked down at herself, noticing that her suit felt tighter, almost like a second skin.

"That's... weird," she muttered, running her hand over her arm. Her suit seemed shinier, more form-fitting, clinging to her curves in ways it hadn't before. But it wasn't just that. She felt... stronger.

Faster.

"Must've been some wild dreams last night," she mused, swinging her legs over the bed. But as her feet hit the floor, a surge of energy shot through her. She gasped, her eyes widening in surprise.

"What the—?"

In a blur of red and black lightning, she was suddenly across the room. Her speed — it had increased tenfold. She could feel it, the raw power coursing through her veins, far stronger than ever before.

"What's happening to me?" Jesse whispered, holding her hands out in front of her. Red and black tendrils of electricity crackled around her fingers, the Speed Force energy intertwining with something else — something darker.

That's when she heard it.

"Jesse Chambers..."

A voice, deep and alien, echoed in her mind. It was soft at first, like a whisper carried on the wind, but it quickly grew louder, more insistent. Jesse clutched her head, stumbling back as the voice spoke again.

"You... gave me life."

Her eyes widened in realization. The black goo. The symbiote.

"Oh, no..." Jesse breathed, fear and confusion flooding her senses. "You—what did you do to me?"

"I saved myself. You saved me. Now we are one."

The voice wasn't threatening, nor was it malevolent. It was... calm, almost soothing. But Jesse couldn't shake the growing dread in her chest. She had bonded with this thing. It had invaded her body, her mind, and now it was part of her.

"Get out!" Jesse yelled, her voice shaking as she raced toward the mirror. "I didn't agree to this! You can't just—"

But she stopped mid-sentence when she saw her reflection.

Her once bright red and yellow suit had darkened, streaks of black intertwining with the fabric. Her eyes, normally bright and filled with life, were now tinged with a faint, eerie glow. Her body, while still her own, felt different. More powerful. Almost... predatory.

"I... I need to fix this," she muttered, pacing back and forth. "The Justice Society... they can help. I'll get this thing out of me, and—"

"No."

The symbiote's voice cut through her thoughts, more assertive now. "You don't understand. We are stronger together. The Speed Force, your power — it's mine now. But I give you more. So much more."

Jesse froze, torn between the fear of what was happening and the allure of the power she could feel radiating through her body. It was intoxicating, overwhelming. Every part of her screamed to reject the symbiote, to fight back. But deep down, a part of her was... curious.

"What are you?" she asked quietly, staring at her reflection in the mirror. "What do you want?"

"I am life. I am survival. And now, I am you. Together, we are unstoppable."

The next few days were a blur for Jesse. Her powers had increased beyond anything she could have imagined. She was faster, stronger, more agile than ever before. She felt invincible. But with that power came a darkness that gnawed at the edges of her mind. The symbiote whispered to her constantly, urging her to push her limits, to embrace the full extent of her abilities.

Jesse tried to keep it in check, to maintain control. But the more she used her speed, the more the symbiote fed off the Speed Force, growing stronger with each passing day.

And soon, it would no longer be content to remain silent.
