Part 2: JSA vs ISA

The two teams charged at each other, the night air filled with the clash of heroes and villains. Courtney's cosmic staff lit up, casting bright arcs of energy as she flew into battle against Icicle, dodging blasts of freezing energy. Yolanda darted to the side, her claws extending as she engaged Tigress in hand-to-hand combat, the two of them moving with animalistic precision. Rick activated his hourglass, his body surging with strength as he charged Sportsmaster, smashing through his gadgets and weapons like they were paper.

Beth, always the tactician, stayed back, analyzing the battlefield with her goggles, calling out weaknesses and strategic points.

Jesse, however, had her eyes on Shade.

The shadowy villain moved with grace, slipping through the darkness as though it were his own element.

"Ah, Miss Quick," Shade greeted her with a smirk as Jesse appeared in front of him in a blur of motion. "I see you've made… changes."

Jesse didn't respond. She didn't need to. The symbiote's voice urged her forward, and she obeyed. With a snarl, she launched herself at Shade, moving faster than even she thought possible. Her fists became a flurry of strikes, each one cracking the air with black lightning. Shade barely had time to react, phasing through shadows to avoid her attacks, but Jesse was relentless.

"More! Faster! Don't let him escape!" The symbiote's voice roared in her mind, and Jesse responded with brutal efficiency. Her speed was blinding, her hits heavier than ever before, each one fueled by a dark, insatiable hunger for power.

Shade, usually cool and collected, found himself on the defensive. He tried to throw up shadow barriers to slow her down, but Jesse tore through them with ease, her black lightning tearing the darkness apart.

"You've gotten… quite aggressive, Miss Quick," Shade remarked, his tone less confident than before.

Jesse growled, her eyes blazing with energy. "Shut up and fight!"

She moved in again, her body a blur of motion, and this time Shade couldn't dodge fast enough. Jesse's fist connected with his jaw, sending him crashing into a wall. The impact left a crater, and Shade slumped to the ground, dazed.

Meanwhile, Courtney was locked in battle with Icicle, dodging blasts of icy energy as she swung her staff with precision. She could see Jesse out of the corner of her eye, and the way her friend was fighting sent a chill down her spine.

"Jesse's… different," Courtney muttered to herself, barely managing to block a wave of ice. "What's going on with her?"

Icicle grinned maliciously, sensing her distraction.

"Worried about your friend, Stargirl?" He sent a massive wave of ice toward her, but before it could reach, a black and red blur shot past.

Jesse appeared between them, her hand raised. With a single swipe, she disintegrated the ice, the black lightning crackling fiercely around her. "Focus, Courtney. You're getting sloppy."

Icicle raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed by Jesse's newfound power. "Well, that's new. But it won't save you."

He raised his hand, preparing to unleash a deadly barrage of ice, but Jesse was already in motion. She zipped around him in a circle, moving so fast that she created a vortex, trapping Icicle in the center. The wind whipped around him, and before he could react, Jesse's fist collided with his face. The sheer force of the punch sent him crashing into the pavement, his body skidding across the ground.

Courtney watched in shock. Jesse wasn't just fighting — she was *destroying* them.

Yolanda, mid-fight with Tigress, glanced over at Jesse as she pummeled Icicle. Her eyes widened in alarm. "Uh, guys? Jesse's… she's not holding back."

"Yeah, I noticed," Rick grunted as he tossed Sportsmaster into a pile of crates. "She's going way too hard."

Jesse, fueled by the symbiote's influence, turned her attention to the rest of the villains. Icicle was already down, Shade was barely conscious, and now only Tigress and Sportsmaster remained. Her fists clenched, black lightning crackling around her like a storm.

"Take them down. Destroy them. You are unstoppable."

Without warning, Jesse shot forward, her speed almost tearing the very air apart as she targeted Tigress. Yolanda was still fighting the villain, but Jesse didn't care. She swung her fist at Tigress, moving so fast that Yolanda barely had time to pull back.

"Jesse, wait—!" Yolanda shouted, but it was too late.

Jesse's punch connected with Tigress's gut, and the force of it sent her flying across the warehouse, smashing through several crates before she finally hit the ground, unconscious.

Yolanda turned to Jesse, her eyes wide with shock and disbelief. "Jesse, what the hell was that? You could've killed her!"

Jesse's cold, detached expression didn't waver. "She's a villain. She knew the risks."

Courtney flew down, landing beside Yolanda, her cosmic staff glowing brightly. "Jesse, this isn't you! You're being too aggressive! What's going on?"

Jesse's eyes flickered with annoyance. "I'm doing what needs to be done. They're villains. We stop them. End of story."

Rick, having just subdued Sportsmaster, joined the group, his brow furrowed. "Yeah, but we don't *kill* them, Jesse. That's not how we do it."
