Ulrich362: We shall, enjoy the chapter.

In a tower nearby the arena Kite, and Orbital just arrived where they see a blue haired boy with bags under his eyes gently sleeping on the bed which was his brother Hart. As if sensing his prescene Hart's eyes slowly opened noticing Kite, "Kite?"

"I'm right here Hart." Kite mentioned walking over to him and gently taking his hand.

"You... you lost the World Duel Carnival, did you?" Hart asked him softly.

Kite frowned. "Quinton managed to force a DRAW."

"And g-g-good thing too c-c-cause the Photon Transformation was k-k-killing him." Orbital mentioned in relief.

Hart's eyes widen having was never told that, "Wait, what? Kite... is that true?"

Kite glared at Orbital. "I'm fine Hart, the important thing is that you're alright."

Orbital visibly flinched from it, "O-O-Opps..." He then tried to change the subject, "A-A-Anyway, Kite has something to a-a-ask you about Hart."

"You do?" Hart asked Kite hearing that.

"I don't have anything to ask you, but... there's someone I need to talk with you about." Kite mentioned before frowning. "His name is Timothy Wixn."

"Dextra said something about that name... he beat you?" Hart asked.

"Technically, but that was before the tournament... he's one of the four finalists though." Kite frowned before telling Hart what Timmy revealed.

Hart's eyes widen a bit, "He... sounds like me... except he almost has no-one."

"Yeah, I..."

"Ma... Master Kite!" Orbital cried suddenly. "His duel is about to start!"

They turned where Orbital formed a holographic screen for them to see where Mr. Heartland announced, "In our first semifinals duel, the winner was an unexpected one. The underdog duelist, Yuma Tsukumo!" Yuma's picture appeared which Hart softly smiled remembering his interactions with said boy. "Yuma will take on the winner of the upcoming semifinals duel. Now let's meet the two who'll fight in our next faceoff!"

At that the screen shifted to the field where they see someone walking up. "With a past shrouded in mystery, not much is known about him except that his dueling skills leave the competition speechless! Give it up for the masked dueling marvel-Vetrix!"

The crowd cheered loud at the smirking mutated man-child walking to the field. Hart visibly shuddered hard remembering him from a while back.

"Vetrix... of course he'd be involved... if I only saw Quinton's trap coming I could have been there to take him down personally." Kite frowned.

Then Mr. Heartland's picture appeared announcing, "And ready to face him; a remarkable young man, that has a summoning method unlike anything, we'd ever seen, and one that is really difficult to take down. Put your hands together for Timothy Wixn!"

At the otherside of the arena they see Timmy walking to the field with a serious look on his face. Kite frowned. "Something's very wrong."

"What do you mean?" Hart asked him confused.

"His expression, he looks upset about something." Kite frowned. "I don't like this, Vetrix must have done something."

Earlier...

Timmy was walking down the hall for the arena before he heard, "Hey, Tim!"

Looking over he sees Yuma running before stopping in front of him, and grinned, "I'm totally rootin' for you to win! Cause "A", I want to take you on again here, and "B", Vetrix is a real creep. So duel the pants off 'em will ya?"

Timmy stared before closing his eyes, "Can I be honest with you Yuma?"

"Huh, sure what is it?" Yuma asked.

"I'm not sure, if I can manage to beat him... But I'll still hold confidence, that I will beat him." Timmy said before looking up with a small grin, "So I'll be sure to knock his pants off." Turning to Astral he nodded, "And I'm interested over this ZEXAL you done a while back with Utopia Ray, so I'll be sure to beat Vetrix for me to face them myself Astral."

"Just be careful, I fear this duel may be your most dangerous yet." Astral frowned.

Timmy nodded, "That reminds me can you do me a favor Yuma?" Said boy listened as Timmy requested, "Can you stay close to Anna? I feel something really bad is gonna happen, and I trust you in case it happens where she's at."

"Huh, sure I'll go over right now." Yuma nodded before running to find Anna.

Timmy stared before walking arriving at the arena with a serious look just as Mr. Heartland's speech is finished. "...put your hands together for Timothy Wixn!"

He stand staring at Vetrix who smirked over as the field raised, "Now that both duelists have arrived, we'll elvalate the skates, and take this duel to the next level in our state of the art Sky Field!"

As it raised Vetrix starts a conversation, "To be honest, I thought I face Kite in the semi-finals. But you'll have to do Timothy Wixn."

"The one who's gonna be beaten is you." Timmy glared at him.

"Temper, temper." Vetrix said with a shrug, "But one I can use."

"What does that mean?"

"You'll see." Vetrix smirked readying his Duel Disk while Timmy frowned but readied his.

"Oh, and both duelists are ready for this Duel of the Century to begin! But who will go home the winner? Will it be Vetrix or Timmy?" Mr. Heartland asked, "If I had a seat I'd be on its edges!"

Vetrix suddenly starts laughing.

"What's so funny?" Timmy questioned.

"I just find it very amusing that my nemesis is spying on me right now." Vetrix smirked to him revealing Dr. Faker is seeing this match watching him closely. "But try as he might, he can't manage to cloak his presence." He looked up with a smirk, "I know you're watching, Faker! I do hope your enjoying the show! This is sound of me taking you down!" He stuck his tongue out blowing a raspberry.

At a different location the blonde haired man from before chuckled, "Good luck with that..."

"It's time to stop the talking, and get this show on the road!" Timmy called readying himself, "After hearing about everything you done with your kids, Hart, even Shark, and Rio, I'm more then ready to take you down!"

"Then come kid, let's see who's the better Duelist!" Vetrix called as his mask glowed.

"Duel Disk ready!" Timmy called readying his Duel Gazer, "And Duel Gazer let's go!"

"Duel Interface Set. Augmented Reality Vision Link Established."

"LET'S DUEL!"

"Okay honest thoughts, can Timmy last against someone like Vetrix?" Bronk asked in the audience seats worried.

"Of course he can." Anna told him before frowning. 'I just hope he actually does.'

Vetrix 1st Turn:

"The first move is mine kid!" Vetrix called. Taking a card from his hand he placed it on his Duel Disk, "First step is summoning Heraldic Beast Leo!"

"Heraldic Beast... Not a Deck, I heard about." Timmy said seeing that analyzing Vetrix's tactics.

"It's pointless to try figuring out what I'll do." Vetrix smirked activating a card, "Next up is the spell, Charged-Up Heraldry!"

At that a spell showing Leo with a blue-feathered twin headed eagle wearing gold armor appeared flying to a crest the same shape as Vetrix's.

"By sacrificing 1 monster like Leo on my field, I can summon 2 Heraldric Beasts from my Deck in Defense Position, as long as the monsters I summon from my Extra Deck are Psychic or Machine monsters." Vetrix explained as Leo vanished before two cards ejected from Vetrix's Deck allowing him to take them, and called, "And the cards I select are Heraldic Beast Aberconway, and Twin-Headed Eagle!"

Two portals appeared before the same eagle from Charged-Up Heraldry, and a hot pink, and black scales dragon wearing white armor with spikes around it's body rose up.

"Two level four monsters." Tori frowned.

"Then as Leo was sent to the graveyard, I take 1 Heraldic Beast to my hand." Vetrix added a card with a smirk before calling, "Now I Overlay Level 4 Aberconway, and Twin-Headed Eagle! With these two Heraldic Beasts I build the Overlay Network!"

The two glowed green flying in the Overlay Network above.

"I Xyz Summon, Number 8: Heraldic King Genom-Heritage!"

"As long as this card is on the field, all Psychic Xyz Monsters can't be targeted by our Spell, and Trap Cards." Vetrix smirked before adding, "Then by sending a Heraldic Beast from my hand to the graveyard, I take 1 Heraldry Spell or Trap card from my Deck to my hand under the condition I only summon Psychic Xyz Monsters, and Heraldic Beasts for the rest of the turn." He discarded a card before adding a new one before setting a card, "Finally with 1 card face-down, that ends my turn. Your move kid."

"Well this will be difficult. Vetrix's number can't be targeted for Timmy's Spells, and Traps, and is immune to battle by non-Numbers so Timmy has to take it with monster abilities." Astral said to Yuma.

"Yeah, but he can pull it off." Yuma mentioned. "We both saw how tough his deck is."

He takes the card as Eqalius flew over standing over Vetrix's field while the man-child watched intrigued.

Vetrix raised an eyebrow before noticing Eqalius glowing charging magic, "Since Eqalius' opponent just summoned a monster, your forced to destroy a spell or trap card on the field!"

"Awesome, and since Timmy doesn't have any spell or trap cards Vetrix has to destroy one of his own cards." Yuma grinned.

Vetrix only smirked. "And face-up at that. Rather interesting, since I only have a face-up Spell. So Augmented Heraldry be gone!"

His Field Spell card appeared before shattering where Vetrix's crest from below them shattered back just before Relato grinned to Eqalius who grinned back before flying back under Timmy's control.

"Would you look at that! Our young Pendulum Player, not only forced Vetrix to destroy his field spell, but also has two monsters on his own field!" Mr. Heartland announced with a grin, "But what can Timmy be planning since his monsters are not the same level?"

Anna only smiled from the audience knowing exactly what Timmy was planning.

"That was Synchro Summoning M-M-Master Hart." Orbital answered him, "Y-Y-You take two or more monsters with one of them as a T-T-Tuner, and use them to summon a White Monster Card called a S-S-Synchro Monster."

"It sounds almost like the opposite of Xyz Summoning." Hart admitted.

Timmy then called, "Then as Relato was used to Synchro Summon a Dragon, you can't target Clear Wing for card effects!"

Clear Wing: (Cannot be targeted for your opponent's card effects)

"Library gives a player 300 points every time they use a Dragon Archiver's Special Ability." Timmy added as he glowed.

Anna frowned nervously seeing that.

"You were too quick for that attack young man." Vetrix smirked to him. "I can sense anger clouding your mind, it's effecting your judgement if you weren't able to see that coming."

Timmy grunted at that rebuking. "I can assure ya I'm thinking clearly!"

"Oh your not fooling me. I can sense a tremendous amount of anger in you. Probably even one that can rival Kite's own anger." Vetrix said with a smirk. "What causes you to have such anger young man? Is it cause I'm reminding you of someone you hate? Or is it cause, someone similar to me done something in the past?"

Timmy visibly flinched hearing that trying to look focused not answering.

"Hey, what did Vetrix just do?" Bronk questioned.

"It sounded like he's using to psyche Timmy into mind games, in the end, trying to provoke him to act rashly." Caswell said worried for him, "But Timmy's not that type of person, right? I mean, he doesn't let anything bother him."

Anna however was frowning. 'Timmy...'

After a few more seconds of silence Vetrix looked at Timmy while his reflection is on his eye. "So your giving me the silent treatment huh? Very well, if you won't talk, I'll find out another way."

You can only activate this effect of "Dragon Archiver - Yggdrasil" once per turn.

Hart has so many questions. What is Pendulum Summoning? How did he summon a monster from the graveyard? What's going on with the cards he placed in the Spell/Trap Zone?

Seeing his expression Kite put a hand on his shoulder. "I'll explain everything after the duel."

Hart looked at him before nodding as they turned back.

"Now I overlay Relato, and Yggdrasil!"

The two glowed flying in the Overlay Network.

"The Archives of the Dragons focus on studying the treacherous fangs! And now the dragon that sleeps in the pitch black darkness is ready to fight all those foolish enough to oppose it! Xyz Summon! Rank 4, Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!"

Dark Rebellion popped up roaring.

"Trying to end this duel quickly are you?" Vetrix smirked recognizing what he's doing.

Timmy grunted before calling, "Well since I summoned Dark Rebellion using a Dragon Archiver, Library allows me to draw a card!" He drew at that before calling, "Yggdrasil was used to summon a Dragon, I get to summon Dragon Archiver - Willionston to your field in Defense Position!"

At that Willionston rose up.

You can only activate this effect of "Dragon Archiver - Willionston" once per turn.

(Timmy: 4600/Hand: 2)

"Then I activate my face-down, Archiving Employment!" Timmy called revealing his face-down.

Archiving Employment

Activate only if you control a Dragon monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck using a "Dragon Archiver" monster as material while your opponent controls a "Dragon Archiver" monster on their field. All monsters on the field that are Special Summoned using a "Dragon Archiver" monster as material, or that are Ritual Summoned by Tributing a "Dragon Archiver" monster are treated as "Dragon Archiver" monsters. During each player's End Phase, if they control a "Dragon Archiver" monster: They can draw 1 card. You can only control 1 "Archiving Employment".

"As long as it's on the field every monster that's summoned with a Dragon Archiver, become Dragon Archivers!"

Clear Wing Synchro Dragon: (Treated as a "Dragon Archiver")

Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon: (Treated as a "Dragon Archiver")

"That's awesome, Timmy's in a great spot." Bronk grinned.

"Now I activate Dark Rebellion's ability!" Timmy called as his Xyz Dragon glowed. "So now, by using 2 Overlay Networks, Dark Rebellion takes half of Heraldry Patriarch's attack points for himself! Treason Discharge!"

(Timmy: 4900/Hand: 2)

Dark Rebellion takes the units. (ORU: 2 - 1 - 0) Before his wings readied firing lightning at Patriarch.

Vetrix only smirked, "Again your too hastey! I activate Heraldry Ark's effect!" His Continuous Spell glowed, "Since your Xyz Monster is using it's ability Ark's effect negates it!"

Timmy quickly countered, "I use Studying Forbidden Archives!"

Studying Forbidden Archives

Quick-Play Spell Card

Target cards on the field up to the number of face-up "Dragon Archiver" monsters on the field: Negate their effects, and if you do they are unaffected to your opponent's card effects this turn. If you take battle or effect damage while this card is in your GY: You can banish this card from your GY; gain LP equal to that damage. You can only activate 1 "Studying Forbidden Archives" once per turn.

"I take cards on the field equal to the number of Dragon Archivers on the field, and negate there effects, and prevent them from being effected to your effects this turn!" Timmy called before adding, "So Heraldry Patriarch, and Ark lose there effects!"

Number 18: Herladry Patriarch: (Effects Negated/Unaffected to Vetrix's card effects)

Heraldry Ark: (Effects Negated/Unaffected to Vetrix's card effects)

Vetrix shrugged as Timmy called, "And with Ark's effect negated, Dark Rebellion's ability is still happening!"

The Lightning shocked binding Patriarch while Vetrix watches.

Heraldry Patriarch: (ATK: 2200 / 2 = 1100)

Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon: (ATK: 2500 + 1100 = 3600)

"If this works Timmy wins." Yuma grinned.

"Now Dark Rebellion attack Heraldry Patriarch! Mauling Mandable Charge!"

Dark Rebellion charged down swinging it's jaw blade at Heraldry Patriarch's core destroying it as Vetrix stepped back. (Vetrix: 1500/Hand: 0)

"Well not bad but due to Patriarch's special ability, I take 2 Heraldic Beasts from my Deck, and summon them out in Defense Position!" Vetrix called at that.

"That won't help him, Willionston's still in attack position and only has 100 attack points." Bronk grinned. "That's just enough for Clear Wing to finish him off."

"Actually it's in Defense Position." Astral said to them which Yuma voiced for them, "Yggdrasil only summons it's monsters in Defense Position."

"Well, he can still destroy it." Tori mentioned.

"Now rise up Heraldic Beast Basilisk, and Heraldic Beast Burners Falcon!" Vetrix called as a falcon with a Basilisk rose up in Defense while he adds a card from Leo's effect.

Timmy grunted more at this before calling, "Alright Clear Wing target, Willionston!" Clear Wing shot up before charging down at a fast speed tackling through Willionston destroying it while Vetrix watches with a clear smirk.

"Just a little more." Cathy mentioned. "Then you and Timmy can have a great final match."

"Yeah, I'm looking forward to that." Yuma smiled.

Vetrix only smirked at this, "Well young man, like I said your too hastey. Your trying to end this duel quickly."

"Why do you care?" Timmy asked with a glare.

"As what I was told by Quattro, you take your time for strategies, and plans, but your only making quick moves. It shows that you truly do have something angering you, and I am that object." Vetrix smirked to him which Timmy flinched a bit, "So again, what is it you have that causes you to have this bout of anger?"

"It's not any of your business!" Timmy yelled with a glare.

"Oh no? Then why are you getting defensive?" Vetrix asked him to provoke him further, "I can also sense a growing darkness within you. It's growth had stopped a while back, but as we speak it's growing again showing me multiple things. Sadness. Lonesome. Hatred. Anger. And most noteably... Betrayal."

Timmy gasped with really widen eyes hearing that.

"What's he doing?" Cathy questioned.

"Aren't you hearing him Cathy?" Caswell asked her, "We can all hear Vetrix clearly."

"I can hear him, I mean what's he up to." she told him. "I don't like this."

"Neither do I." Astral agreed.

"Maybe you guys don't notice Timmy reacted strongly to when Vetrix said 'betrayal'?" Bronk asked hearing that.

"But what betrayal?" Tori asked turning to Anna. "What's he talking about?"

Anna shrugged having no idea as they turned back.

Timmy still looked stunned before asking, "How... how did you know?"

"My boy, I am more then you think." Vetrix smirked to him, "I can definitely sense someone betrayed your trust, and done something rather terrible."

Timmy then grunted glaring at Vetrix gaining a sudden furious expression which surprised almost everyone even Vetrix gained a small surprised look from his sudden expression.

"Timmy..." Anna whispered in shock seeing that.

"Shut up! Don't you dare continue! I want to forget about what happened! That memory scarred my heart for my life! So shut up!" Timmy yelled.

Vetrix stared before then grinning, "Looks like I found what causes you off your rocker. Well let's find out closer shall we?"

"I said shut up!" Timmy yelled further before saying, "I end my turn! During the End Phase, Archiving Employment allows me to draw since I have a Dragon Archiver on the field!"

Timmy's Hand: 2/Field: Dragon Archiver - Tuloki (Pendulum), Dragon Archiver - Renotu (Pendulum), Clear Wing Synchro Dragon (Attack Position/Treated as a Dragon Archiver, and Xyz Monster/Rank 7/Cannot be targeted to opponent's card effects), Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon (Attack Position/Treated as a Dragon Archiver/ATK: 3600), Archiving Employment (face-up)

Vetrix 3rd Turn:

"You can't hide it from me!" Vetrix smirked drawing, "I draw!" Looking at his drawn card he looked to the furious little boy in front of him, 'This bout of anger is greater then Kite's! But it's still not enough, it needs 1 more push!'

With that he mind he called, "And to start, I use Scale 5, Heraldic Beast Antelope in the Pendulum Zone!"

At that a antelope rose up behind Rhino.

Pendulum Effect: You cannot Pendulum Summon monsters, except "Heraldic Beast" monsters. This effect cannot be negated. When a Psychic Xyz Monster you control activates it's effect: Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to it's activation.

Monster Effect: You can banish 1 "Heraldic Beast" monster from your GY: Special Summon 1 monster of the same name as that banished card from your hand or Deck in Defense Position, but negate it's effect(s). You can only activate this effect of "Heraldic Beast Antelope" once per turn.

"Now he has a Pendulum Scale too, but his monsters can't be Pendulum Summoned from the graveyard right?" Yuma recalled.

"Yes, Pendulum Monsters return to your Extra Deck when destroyed but Vetrix has only revealed two so at best he can summon one monster from his hand." Astral nodded confirming how they saw Pendulum Summoning work before.

"Now I activate the Spell, Number of Safe Return!" Vetrix called using a spell.

Number of Safe Return

Normal Spell Card

Target 1 "Number" Xyz Monster in your GY; Return that monster to the Extra Deck, and if you do, after this effect resolves Xyz Summon that monster from your Extra Deck by using monsters you control as Xyz Materials, and if you do, attach this card as additional Xyz Material, then it gains the following effects.
● If this card is Xyz Summoned while you control less cards then your opponent: You can destroy all Spell/Traps your opponent controls.
● Once per turn, if your opponent declares an attack that targets this card: You can negate that attack.
You cannot Special Summon other monsters the turn you activate this card. You can only activate 1 "Number of Safe Return" once per turn.

"By returning Genom-Heritage back to my Extra Deck, I can then Xyz Summon it again!" Vetrix called a Genom-Heritage returned back only for Basilisk, and Berners Falcon to flew in the Overlay Network again.

"He's bringing his Number back." Bronk frowned.

"Return again, Number 8: Heraldic King Genom-Heritage!"

Genom-Heritage's sealed form rose again before forming into it again neighing.

Number 8: Heraldic King Genom-Heritage: (Attack Position/Gains effects from Number of Safe Return/ORU: 2)

"Then Number of Safe Return becomes one of Genom-Heritage's Overlay Units." The card formed into a Overlay Unit attaching itself to Genom-Heritage.

Genom-Heritage: (ORU: 2 - 3)

"And since I have less cards then you do, all of your Spells, and Traps are destroyed!"

Shocked Timmy watched as Library, Renotu, Tuloki, and Employment all shattered leaving only Dark Rebellion, and Clear Wing no longer treated as Dragon Archivers. Seeing that Hart shuddered fearfully as Kite frowned.

"Something's about to happen." Kite frowned.

"Then I activate Genom-Heritage's special ability!" Vetrix called as Genome-Heritage charged it's hair like arms grabbing Dark Rebellion as it roared feeling it's power getting stolen. "Now Genom-Heritage becomes a copy of an Xyz Monster on your field until the end of your turn, and your original monster's attack points becomes 0 until the end of this turn with it's effects negated!"

Genom-Heritage: (Name: Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon/ATK: 2400 + 100 = 2500/Gains Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon's effects)

Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon: (Effects Negated/ATK: 3600 - 1100 - 2500 = 0)

Genom-Heritage transformed into Dark Rebellion with it's mask on Dark Rebellion's face.

"No way, he just stole Timmy's monster!" Bronk cried in shock as Clear Wing roared at the fake Dark Rebellion angrily.

"Regrettably as I can't target your monster due to Relato's effect from earlier, I can do this! Genom-Heritage attack Dark Rebellion with Mauling Mandable Charge!" The fake Dark Rebellion charged forward at Dark Rebellion before Vetrix gestured to his spell, "Then Heraldry Ark's effect since it's effects no longer negated! So now as a Psychic Xyz monster with the same name as one monster on your field is attacking, there's nothing you can do to stop it!"

Genom-Heritage with Dark Rebellion's abilities tackled through it as it roared in agony shattering while Timmy was pushed back crying out landing on the floor of the arena. (Timmy: 2400/Hand: 2)

"Timmy!" Anna cried in horror seeing that.

Timmy slowly stands up glaring at Vetrix, "You stop at nothing to use everything at your disposal... You use your own sons as pawns for your quest for revenge... You also steal my friend's power! And you don't care! You don't care what it brings, you only care about Dr. Faker defeated on your heels!"

"Exactly! All that mattered to me all my life now, is exacting my revenge on Dr. Faker for betraying me, and Kazuma!" Vetrix agreed with a smirk, "Everything has a use, and when there done, there useless! My sons serve there purpose, just as Dark Rebellion did."

"Don't you dare diss my friends!" Timmy yelled outraged at that. "You can say all you want about me, but don't you dare disrespect my friends!"

"Friends? Cards are your friends? What a silly notion." Vetrix smirked to him, "And what a hypocrite you are aren't ya?" Timmy froze looking at Vetrix who told him, "I told you before, I can sense the darkness in you, and it tells me many of things the more anger you are... Including that not only your betrayed, your the same as me: Seeking revenge, no matter the cost!"

"This doesn't make any sense, what is he talking about?" Bronk questioned. "Revenge, against who?"

"Do you want me to look deeper to tell them, or tell them yourself?"

With that ultimatum question Timmy closed his eyes tight feeling frustrated, and shameful from what Vetrix is saying. Vetrix is correct, he was betrayed, and wants revenge against that person no matter the price. The darkness that almost consumed whole that he talked about with Dextra, and Anna was not only feeling alone, and despair, was also rage. But rage on who?

With a deep breath Timmy said, "Your right..." Vetrix raised an eyebrow before the boy continued, "About what you said. I was like you... wanting revenge over someone who betrayed me, no matter what the price may be. It was after my Grandmother passed away... And during my years with my parents, I never felt so betrayed from what happened... But what makes me different from you..." He glared at Vetrix, "Is that I realized that getting revenge in the end brings you nothing but more despair, and more hopelessness! And that makes me no different then those people! You'll only be as bad as they are once you go through the point of no return!"

He placed his clenched hand close to his chest saying, "My Grandmother sacrificed everything... EVERYTHING... so that I can be happy... She never cared how much strain, or how much harder her life becomes, my smile was all she cared about. That was when I realized that if I go through the point of no return, I be casting aside everything she had done like it was nothing to me! And that... that was something I vow to NEVER DO!"

He glared at Vetrix, "No matter how tempted I am, or how betrayed, or hurt I was, I will NEVER disrespect my Grandmothers wishes for any reason! I will not stoop as low as you are, and take the path of no return! I will not be as bad as my parents are!"

"Timmy..." Anna whispered hearing that.

"He... how much did he go through?" Hart asked in shock.

During one sentence Vetrix noticed what he said, "Your parents eh?"

Tommy flinched widening his eyes stepping back. "So... you were betrayed by your parents? From how much you voiced them, you never mentioned a hint of betrayal. Does that mean they done something terrible enough to make you almost lose your way?"

"...Yes." Timmy sees no reason to deny it anymore. "It was... in my own words there 'greatest crime', they had ever done on me... All they done to me to be there perfect image, learn things I was not suppose too, be selfish, and take anything I want no matter the price, and force me to do anything they want me to become... But there was nothing more painful, or more horrible they done... then there greatest crime. I held out hope for them, that maybe one day, they can change... they can change, and be better people for them to respect Grandma's wishes... But then when I learned about it, it was all washed away, and felt every fiber of my being so betrayed, and really angry for what they had done..."

That was before he glared with big tears before revealing, "My Grandmother never died peacefully in her sleep! THEY POISONED HER!"

Everyone froze hearing that. Several people voiced in shock, and horror looking around talking about what he just revealed outraging the cloud while Mr. Heartland watched him in silent horror, "D-Dear me..."

Dr. Faker meanwhile stood up in shock. "What!? They did what!?"

Kite, Hart, and Orbital watched in horror as Orbital asked shocked, "W-W-What!? Those two scumbags did what!?"

"Kite... is he saying the truth?" Hart asked unable to believe some people can do something like that to there loved ones.

And being honest in Kite's mind he never thought of that either. Sure his own father done terrible things which risked Hart's health, and Vetrix used his sons for revenge but to really kill them... He knows Dr. Faker, or Vetrix doesn't have the guts, or willpower to do such a thing.

What Timmy revealed also caused a lot of outrage to everyone while Yuma, and everyone in the audience was also stunned where Yuma asked shocked, "What!? His parents did what!?"

"That... how could they do something so heartless?" Tori asked with tears.

Vetrix was also stunned from what he just heard. He never heard something as horrible as Timmy's parents, and if he thought he was the worst, then clearly he never heard of some people like them killing there loved ones.

"Timmy... why...?"

"Why did they poisoned her?" Timmy's broken voice asked shaking with tears running down his face, "For money! Money! They hoped that by poisoning her, they gain her inheritance but it backfired when her will revealed I was to inherit her will! There already stinkin' rich but there greed knows no bounds! Limitless, they want every penny they know without the cost! It was a year after I moved to there place..."

He started to tell the story.

Flashback...

Timmy had gotten done with his daily duties sighing wiping sweat off his forehead. It had been 1 year since he moved to his parents place, and despite the harsh treatment there putting him through, the classes they forced him to attend, and keeping all the money he earned from Tournaments all to himself, he still held hope that maybe one day things will change, and they will be good people. Now he was done with his daily duties heading to his room to sleep until he heard loud arguing in the room's he's passing by.

Odd, his parents were usually in there own room by now, but why are they in that room? That's there Treasury Room, which holds all the wealth they accomplished, not including Timmy's to keep separated. Probably checking to see if the spot Susan's inheritance from him will go when he gets it, is free, and not sabotaged? Or maybe checking to see nothing got stolen?

The true reason is something really alarming as he peaked in which his parents didn't notice he was eavesdropping.

"You said it can give us that old bat's money!" Floyd yelled at Trina.

"How was I suppose to know she placed HIM to inherit her will!?" Trina yelled back.

"You should've checked on her will before then, or ask her about it!" Floyd shouted.

"Why would I bother asking that old bitch, about her money!?" Trina asked with a big glare.

"Maybe then we would've come up with a better plan to take it!"

"So what, change the idea to swiping the will, and forging it!?"

"Maybe done that AFTER poisoning her, so the lawyer wouldn't notice we forged it!"

"Too late for that so now we got our son to get it from!"

"It's too fucking slow! The sooner he grows for what we want him to be the better!"

"You got a better idea!? Your the one that decided to poison your own mother!"

"Your the one that suggested how we can take her money!"

Timmy wasn't able to believe what he just heard. All this time, why Susan passed away, it was just said why. But how did they poisoned her without going near her during the time he was staying with her? That was when he remembered that they sent a bottle of wine to Susan as a slight 'peace offering' which was why he thought they can change. Susan although appreciates it, still said there not welcomed to see him as long as she lives. They poisoned the bottle of wine for them to steal her money. All hopes of them changing heart just swiped away. He never felt so betrayed, so hurt... so angry. With a small sniffer he silently ran off back to his own room to cry his heart out without his parents noticing.

Flashback End...

Timmy just finished his story with a sniffing glare at Vetrix.

"Money? His father poisoned his grandmother for money?" Dr. Faker questioned in shock.

He couldn't believe even more from what he listened too. He was truthful with Kazuma all those years ago, that money, and fame are not what he cares about when finding the Interdimensional Portal, it was all for Hart's sake. But if it was for wealth, now he knows how corrupted he would've been if wealth was all he cared about. It made him shudder thinking he could've harmed or worse kill Kite, and Hart in that same scenario.

"And do you know what the worst part was?" Timmy asked from his orb broken in front them, "I did NOTHING... NOTHING! They got enough money to get away with it, even if I provide evidence! They can destroy all pieces of evidence, and force me to keep quiet! I knew something was wrong... Something was wrong with that bottle of wine, and I STILL let my guard down on it! I could've prevented her death, if I done something, but I stood back! You have no idea how much this level of betrayal hurts, Vetrix, cause this doesn't even COMPARE with what you experienced with Kazuma from Dr. Faker!"

And with that Dr. Faker's admiration to how much Timmy endured increased with a lot of sympathy, and desire to protect the young man he's seeing.

Back at the arena...

Timmy glared at Vetrix who stood silent, "Nothing you feel before, would be close to what I did experience... And despite it, I never acted what you are trying to do. The Point of No Return, is a road many can take in that scenario... But I am not one of those 'many'. I will NEVER disrepect my Grandmother's wishes no matter the reason, she done everything for me, and I will always be grateful for what she done for me before then. My only regret was not stopping her from drinking that wine when I have the chance! I will get justice on those two one day for what they done, but that day is far off. Right now, I want to bury the past by settling my life here in Heartland City, and do everything I can to prevent others from going through that exact same scenario! But now, I can't run away from my past... What I can do is face it straight in, and prove I'm stronger then they are!"

The entire audience was in stunned silence as they just looked at Timmy with sympathy and heartbreak hearing what happened. Vetrix only stared before he raised his hands... and started clapping.

"What?" Yuma questioned seeing that.

Timmy blinked seeing this as Vetrix kept clapping before saying, "Well well young Timothy... You really know how to tug the heartstrings. Don't take this as saying I don't believe you..." He looked at him, "You certainly proven your stronger then those two pieces of shit really well..." That tells everyone he's beyond pissed off even though he's not showing it. "However... there is a slight... problem."

"Problem?"

"You said it can't compare with what I have experienced." Vetrix suddenly glared, "But your the one that has no idea how much my own betrayal hurts! My appearance become warped to what you see now as a result of me coming back from Barian World! My boys Trey, and Quattro were forced to foster care, so it not only effected me, but my family too. Your own betrayal was only on yourself, but mine was on not only on me, but also Kazuma, and my boys! So what your saying changes NOTHING for my own plans for revenge! In fact it only makes my desire for it STRONGER!"

Timmy grunted at this before Vetrix pointed at him, "And now..." He shakes his head, "NOW, Timothy Wixn, the end for this match is in sight!"

"I can see what I said, can't change your mind... So I'll have to beat you to make you stop!" Timmy declared at that.

"DUEL RESUME!" they both declared at that ready to keep going to fight.

"That... just how disgusting is he?" Tori questioned in shock hearing Vetrix say that.

(Cue Theme: Waking the Demon by Bullet for my Valentine)

"I place 1 card face-down to end my turn!" Vetrix ends his turn with a set card, "During this End Phase, Genom-Heritage returns to normal!" Genoim-Heritage reverts back to it's original self. "So now Timothy Wixn this is your last turn! Make it count!"

Vetrix's Hand: 0/Field: Heraldic Beast Rhinoceros (Pendulum Zone), Heraldic Beast Antelope (Pendulum Zone), Number 8: Heraldic King Genom-Heritage (Attack Position/ORU: 3/Gains Effects from Number of Safe Return), Heraldry Ark (face-up), One Set Card

"I will!" Timmy drew, "Draw!"

Anna noticed that due to revealing everything she sees in his eyes relief from letting out all of that now being calm, and focused again like before which means he's about to bring his true expertise. Seeing that though she still felt her eyes stinging with tears as she wanted to run and embrace him. Looking Timmy called, "Now I use Hiring Archive!"

"What can he do? He can only summon one monster." Flip pointed out.

"No he doesn't." Caswell told him.

Vetrix looked at his drawn card before calling, "I start off by activating Aberconway's ability in the graveyard!"

The graveyard portal opened as a Aberconway vanished.

"By banishing 1 Aberconway from my graveyard, I can add Heraldic Beast Unicorn to my hand!" He adds the card showing it.

"Was the second Aberconway what he discarded with Augmented Heraldry?" Timmy asked himself remembering Vetrix discarded a Heraldic Beast at the start.

"Now I activate Heraldic Totem!" Vetrix called using his face-down.

Suddenly hearing Number Archive gasp, Timmy turned to him, "Number Archive?"

"Something dangerous is coming! Something dangerous!"

"And now watch!" They looked as Vetrix raised his arm, "I Overlay Level 4 Heraldic Beast Eale, Unicorn, and Aberconway! With these 3 level 4 monsters, I build the Overlay Network!"

The three glowed flying up in the Overlay Network.

"Release your anger here now! Xyz Summon! Appear! Number 69: Heraldry Crest!"

At that what lowered down was a large black demonic monster with hair shaping as large green scythes on it's head with a pink 69 on it's left one with 3 hot pink lines on both sides of it's face as it's eyes, a skeletal like bone shaping as it's body, and large arms with blades on it, and large teeth roaring loud showing itself as a powerful monster.

Seeing the Number Hart started shuddering in fear.

"What... what is that thing?" Kite questioned in shock.

Timmy look stunned seeing the monster. It's mere presence alone let's Timmy feel it's really dangerous. And just from the way it's looking at him is enough to make him step back a few feet.

"I have you to thank for this Timothy." Timmy looked at Vetrix who said to him, "I cannot provide the energy needed enough, for you see, a great tremendous amount of anger is required to control this monster. It is the strongest Number, I gotten my hands on; The Heraldry Crest!"

Timmy looked up as Vetrix called, "And it is your anger for your parents, and the betrayal your endured that allowed me to control it! So now feel it's might! As it's summoned, the effects of all other Xyz Monsters are negated!"

"What?" Timmy asked as Heraldry Crest let out sonic waves which hit Wing Dragon making it roar in agony greying.

Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon: (Effects Negated)

"TIMMY!" Anna cried in horror seeing that.

"And next up I use it's other ability! Whipping Lash!" Heraldry Crest's eyes glowed before a pink tendril shot attaching to Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon's chest like stealing it's power while Timmy watches in shock, "Heraldry Crest can steal the abilities, and name of 1 Xyz Monster! And due to Heraldic Beast Antelope's Pendulum Ability, you can't do anything to stop it!"

The tendril vanished as Heraldry Crest glowed.

Number 69: Heraldry Crest: (Name: Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon/Gains effects of Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon)

"And now battle!" Heraldry Crest readied before he called, "And now the effect it gains from Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon activates! During Battle all Level 5 or higher monsters on your field are annihilated!"

Heraldry Crest fired a large blast striking Wing Dragon making it roar turning to ashes easily while Timmy stepped back in shock. Vetrix smirked. "It'll be over right now! Heraldry Crest, destroy him with Dark Matter Demolition!"

Heraldry Crest charged an attack as a large black blast charged down at Timmy as he watched in horror as flashes appeared in his eyes about him with Susan, meeting Anna, all the matches, interactions with everyone, and Anna's smile in the end. With a tear down his eye he closed his eyes, "Anna... I'm sorry..."

The attack struck as he was launched in the air crying out landing hard on the ground.

Vetrix wins!

"Well... there we go, the winner of this duel is Vetrix." Mr. Heartland announced.

"Anna!"

Hearing that Yuma, and Astral looked seeing Anna ran out down as the arena field slowly lowered down.

Heraldry Crest vanished as Vetrix stares at Timmy's down form who slowly struggled to sit up before hearing something, and turned his eyes seeing Anna running over. She ran and embraced him tightly. "Are you ok?"

"Anna...?" He asked weakly looking at her before softly smiling, "Anna... I'm so sorry... I promised to get... the wish for you but... I failed..." Even with what he just went through he only cared about the wish? Hearing that she started to tear up before hugging him.

Timmy hugged her back before pulling away turning to Vetrix who allowed Anna to have one more interaction with him, "Vetrix... you won fair, and square... my numbers are yours."

"Glad to see your being civil." He reached his hand, and ignoring Anna's call of wait he shot his hand forward connecting with Timmy's chest who gasped before it pulled back with a orb just as Timmy closed his eyes collapsing on the ground as Vetrix's energy hand returned to him as he examined the Number he took from the young man, "Hmm... quite an intriguing specimen."

"Timmy?" Anna asked. "Timmy what's wrong?"

She turned to Vetrix.

"What did you do to him?"

Vetrix turned to her with a smirk, "His soul is connected to his Numbers so the only way for me to claim them is to take his soul as well."

Anna's eyes widened before she just screamed as Vetrix smirked walking off.

Hart was shaking from what he just seen in horror for what Timmy just went through. "Kite?"

He was just staring at the screen not saying anything.

"Kite? Can we head over?" Hart requested.

"No, I'm not letting that freak anywhere near you." Kite answered.

"I mean... to see Timmy." Hart said to him.

Kite turned to him only to frown. "It's too dangerous."

Hart frowns but understands looking over back.

Back at the arena...

"Anna!" Yuma, and his friends ran over stopping near her, and Timmy as he slowly asked, "How... how is he...?"

"He's not moving... Vetrix... he took Timmy's soul." Anna whispered while desperately holding him close.

"Like what Kite done to his victims." Yuma said in a whispering like tone.

"And your dueling him next." Tori said really worried for Yuma.

Yuma looked before clenching his hands angry before asking, "Anna?"

She looked up with tears in her eyes.

"Stay at my house with Timmy. Cause now I promise, I will get his soul back from Vetrix!" Yuma told her.

"Yuma..." Anna whispered before just carefully picking Timmy up and walking off.

"Anna..." Cathy looked before turning to Yuma, and kissed his cheek causing the boy to freeze before she ran off to follow Anna, "Anna I'm coming with you!"

"How touching, but at least he was good for something." Vetrix smirked.

He was watching away before walking off, "Now it's Yuma Tsukumo standing."

Meanwhile...

Dr. Faker was watching clenching his fists tight with a glare at Vetrix's image. It was when he decided on something he will carry out:

Once all this is over, Timmy Wixn is joining his family.

bopdog111: Like we said, really big event that's a emotional rollar coaster.

Ulrich362: A bit strange... wouldn't they have realized Susan was poisoned? Though either way... Timmy's soul was taken by Vetrix and with Number Archive in his possession... can Yuma beat him?

bopdog111: Vetrix also has Pendulum but luckily for Yuma he had experience battling Pendulum before.

Ulrich362: That's true, see you in the next chapter.

bopdog111: Be sure to review!
