Chapter 17 - The Girl Who Hated Humanity - Part 1
Many Years Ago - Japan - Heian Period
Many years ago in the Heian period, a large number of babies were throw at the sea to die because of the famine in an act named Kuchiberashi... reducing the mouths to feed of a family by putting the restant kids in service or giving them in adoption to lighten up the charge of the family's money and resources
That day between the group of babies left to die in the river... A peculiar infant was between the group, the name that her parents had gave her a day ago before taking the cruel decision to get rid of her was Jun.
A baby is seen inside a basket crying intensively, crying and crying for her parents who prefering to survive had decided to get rid of her, the poor infant couldn't help but feel fear in her heard the feeling of the water of the river entering in her basket and drowing her was more persistent as the poor infant traveled in the basket through the river, as the other babies of the group started to die drowing, Jun's fear in her small little heart of drowing became more and more bigger as her crying was heard echoing through the lands near the river
Being prey of the fear, the baby in her small rationality couldn't help but wonder why her parents had done this to her. Why they had abandoned here, hope for them returning for her was starting to fade out
Soon that giant fear that plagued the small heart and small rationality of the baby started to become into nothing but a big intense hatred as days went by with the same fear that the water would rise enough to drown her, the baby's basket was starting to fill with more water just as the infant's small heart was starting to become filled with hatred for the two people who had concieved her and now had abandoned her at her luck
During her days on the river, that same hatred and resentment that the baby could only feel burning in her heart as her dead approached with the water of the river starting to drown her ended up calling the attention of someone... Or something
"You." - A sinister voice full of echo was heard as a strange floating eye makes itself present looking at the almost dead baby whose basket was covered in water
"You're just a child, yet your heart is filled with fear, hatred and resentment. So much hatred in such a small child... I have never seen someone like you before. Poor little baby, you want to see the people who put you here burning and dying in pain, for a small child your mind is pretty creative. Oh like the way how you're cursing your parents as you still climb on to your life... Fascinating, you know you're dying yet you're still grabing on to your life to try to survive. You want vengeance!" - Said the sinister voice totally having his attention called by the only surviving baby from the group
"Right now you're just a child, but I wonder. If you were to grow up, would you be willing to make pay those who created you and put you here? What would you do if I were to make you my herald?" - The sinister voice was curious, he was fascinated by how the baby was still clinging to her life and not willing to die thanks to her hatred for her parents
"Would you like me to help you? But that would require for you to do a small favour, infant." - The sinister voice questioned
For the surprise of the demonic being, the baby rises her arm able to see him trying to reach to him.
"Fascinating! You seem to be capable of understand me a little. I must admit, your hatred, resentment and fear is delicious. My name by the way is Ambrosia." - Said Ambrosia seeing how the baby's face suddenly changes rising her head from above the water looking at Ambrosia as if she was looking at her saviour, the baby Jun smiled having heard the name of this demon with her trying to reach to him
"Ambosia!" - For the surprise of the demon, the baby said her first words right there rising her arm before falling back to the basket filled with water dying drowning herself
"No my little child, you can't go just like that. I think you made it clear and I see alot of potencial on you... Very well, I just don't have the heart to see you die just like that." - In a strange act of kindess the demon brought the baby back to life as from the eye of the beast blood falls to the basket, blood that ends un entering in the body of the baby
"..." - In that moment the little baby Jun opens her eyes, now looking from her black color pupils to red pupils as she is brought back to life thanks to the blood of her now god Ambrosia
In that moment the pact was formalized, Jun didn't knew it but Ambrosia had not only brought her body to life again but he had also made her inmortal, nothing that could hurt a human would ever hurt her ever again, thanks to this, Jun was able to survive some more days until she arrived to a shore of a nearby village in Mutsu, Of the peninsula of Shimokita
"What is that? Is that a basket?" - A men of black hair and his wife a woman of brown hair see the small basket arrive at the shore, they go to where is only to see a baby sleeping there, the baby opens her eyes seeing herself finally in the arms of this couple who without thinking it twice they decide to take her back with them to the village
"Who could do such a cruel act to leave this poor baby at her luck, Kazuki?" - Says the Woman named Mikoto as she carries little Jun in her arms now feeding her
"Is because of the famine happening around, especially in the east. Alot of families are getting rid of their own sons practicing Kuchiberashi. She must had been not a desired child." - Kazuki looks at the little girl grabing her head in a soft way feeling pity and sadness for the little creature
"To have survived from the east all the way to here? She must be so strong. Oh poor girl." - Mikoto was starting to warm up to the girl, the couple were starting to like the idea of adopting Jun more and more as some days passed, the truth was that Mikoto was sterile, while at first Kazuki was hesitant believing the girl should be put in adoption, even his heart started to warn at seeing Jun as his daughter
Eventually knowing they were never going to have their own kids, the couple ended up adopting Jun but not knowing that was her name, they gave her a new name... Mizuki Kai
As years passed, Mizuki Kai growed up in the care of both Kazuki and Mikoto. At first glance she was just a normal girl, shy, intelligent and curious. However there was something off about Mizuki that made her be considerated as a freak by her peers, Mizuki always sported this eerie vibe and could make people be uncomfortable with her, it didn't help the fact that strange stuff started to happen around her wherever she went
"Mizuki, it is you. How is your parents doing, girl?" - The owner of a store named Kaji greeted Mizuki
"Fine, Kaji-san, they are busy and times are being hard for dad. They sent me to buy stuff for the dinner. And I-I." - Mizuki was nervous
"I was wondering if you could please let me have some of your vegetables for free, I promise that as soon as my father gets paid, I'll pay all of them. Please?" - Mizuki's family were going through hard times, things back home weren't going well for her. Her mother feeling that Kazuki was cheating on her started to fall on depression and became an alchololic, her father spended less time with her and her mother, leaving Mizuki to start to feel abandoned and her peers afraid of her avoided her like a plague and misstreated her
"Hmph! I'm sorry, Mizuki but I can't do it. I can't give you anything of this for free. Your parents are good clients and friends but I need that money too. My wife would kill me if she were to find that I gave you some of them for free." - Kaji
"But-But nobody will know it, I promise as soon as my father gets the money, I'll make sure to pay you." - Mizuki was begging at this point
"Hmph!" - Suddenly a smile drawed in the face of Kaji
"Maybe we can make a deal, forget the money." - Kaji
"A deal? What kind of deal? Maybe I can help you to sell them? Become your helper or something, what if I help you harvest the vegetables? Please, Mr. Kaji?" - Mizuki
"No no. I don't think a pretty girl like you should be getting her hands dirty with such tasks, I have a much better idea." - The man in that moments grabs Mizuki by her waist
"AH! Wait!" - Mizuki is confused as the man stares at her with a disgusting stare of desire and filled with awful thoughts
"I thinkt the two of us could have an agreement, after all you must be feeling alone with how all the other kids avoid you? How about a kiss to start getting to know each other better?" - The man tries to force himself on the young girl
*Sprank* - But in that moment, Mizuki punches him with such an inhuman force using her nails to scratch the face of the man as he is sent to the ground grabing his face bleeding
"Ah! Ah! What did you did to my face, you bitch! ARGH!" - The man looked at her now with fear as the surprised and nervous Mizuki stood there confused, panting quickly she decided to left the place running away droping her bag
"DAMN FREAK!" - The man grabing a tomato throwed it to Mizuki but this one didn't reached that far
That day Mizuki returned to her home only to sit in her bed crying for the next couple of hours realizing what could had happened if she hadn't attacked Kaji
Two days later
Mizuki and her mother Mikoto left their home to buy something when suddenly
"What the hell?" - Mikoto sees alot of people running away as a big flame is seen bursting in the distance, for Mizuki's shock said flame came from not other than the place where Kaji's store was ubicated with her opening her eyes widely
"What is going on?" - Asked Mikoto to one of her neighbors
"Kaji's store is full of flames, we are trying to bring some water buckets to turn the fire off. I don't know how it happened but Kaji, we don't heard his screams. I think he is dead." - Said the neighbor leaving to get another bucket of water surprising both Mikoto and Mizuki
"..." - Mizuki turned to look at where Kaji was, not feeling pity at all but remembering what he wanted to do to her, Mizuki felt strange but that night she sleep well
"You stupid child!" - Mikoto slaps Mizuki one day after Mizuki returned home only to see her mother in the arms of another man that wasn't her dad, Mizuki questioned her mother why she was with another man that wasn't her father only to recieve a slap of her mother, who told to better not dare to tell her father or she would face conquences with Mikoto throwing Mizuki out of the home that
Alone in the village, Mizuki tried to play with the others girls of her age. Sadly by this point Mizuki had the fame of being related to the bad things that were happening around the village, Mr. Kaji's death, the local pit of the village becoming dry after she was rejected some water, the pet of a girl dying shortly after Mizuki touched it, a kid who gifted Mizuki with her beautiful red headband having drowed. Mizuki was well aware strange phenomenons happened around her, it was almost as if something or someone was provoking this accidents, she feel surrounded by a terrible bad luck, yet she still wanted to be accepted and loved
However that day wasn't her day, Mizuki being treated as freak was object of the other girls' awful treatment, with them playing to be chased by a monster... Said monster wasn't other than Mizuki who tried even after the treatment of the kids, she still tried to play with them
"Ah!" - Only to be tackled by the girl whose pet had died, the girls seeing the girl now kicking Mizuki on the ground joined, the truth was that by this point all of them were scared of Mizuki and that day they made themselves clear to Mizuki that they didn't wanted her around them as the group of girls kicked the young Mizuki on the ground
"NO! STOP! Please! It hurts!" - Mizuki
"Shut up witch! We don't want you near us ever again! Burn in hell, witch! Damn witch! Everything you touch dies!" - Were some of the mean and awful things the girls said to Mizuki as they kicked her in the ground, Mizuki took the beating but in her heart, that feeling of hatred and resentment that her heart once felt for her parents was starting to grow with everyone in the village
Mizuki being 13 years old decides to escape from her house one night, she makes her way to the nearby tall hill where in the distance the famous Mount Osore could be see with her embracing the calm of the night, for Mizuki night was the only time of the day where felt good and at peace with herself
"So you came." - Said a voice with a supernatural tone to the young Mizuki who at this point had enough of the way how the people in village saw her, with fear and hatred, blaming her for all the calamities of the place. However Mizuki wasn't dumb and between her memories when she was a little girl, one of them came from in the form of a voice that she had remember from her childhood
"Yes, it seems you finally answer to my call." - Mizuki had sacrficed a couple of animals from her neighbors to make a ritual and call out for Ambrosia that night
"You were the one who saved me that day, why?" - Mizuki
"You still remember me, I'm glad. Yes I saved you, I was charmed by the hatred that could be felt in your little heart. I saw alot of potencial in you and I granted you inmortality that day to save you from drowing... To bad those girls seem to not believe in your fear." - Said Ambrosia making Mizuki hold her fist remembering how a couple of days earlier the girls had tossed Mizuki to the nearby river taking advantage of a girl acting as Mizuki's friend to know what was Mizuki's fear, the innocent Mizuki confesed that the feeling of drowning was the thing that scared her the most in this life, thing that the mean group of girls took advantage of by throwing her to the nearby river to drown, because of her experience as a baby, Mizuki had grow up to have Thalassophobia and Aquaphobia, with her biggest fear being the feel of drowing
"Grrr.." - Mizuki
"Don't be sad. Unlike them, I'm here to comfort you. You're like a daughter to me and you deserve something better than this life." - Ambrosia
"The pact we did that day, it wasn't a full pact isn't it?" - Mizuki
"A small pact, really I just gave you these gifts to survive. But I never left, I have seen you grow up, despite the way how the foolish idiots of the village treat you, I know you're destined to more. You're fated to be a goddess, not this human but now... I can offer you power beyond your dreams, join me and together. This entire world will belong to us." - Ambrosia
"..." - Mizuki stayed in silence grabing on to a corpse part belonging to the girl who had betrayed her trust, the truth is that Mizuki at this point had no attachment to this village and its people. What Ambrosia was offering her was something her heart was starting to not be able to resist, deep down Mizuki didn't wanted to be a human anymore, the simple daughter of a couple of pathetic humans who now hated her too just like the rest
"It seems I was wrong, you can leave now. I'll never bother you again." - Said Ambrosia believing Mizuki still wanted to keep living on her life as a human but then suddenly
"Where do I sign?" - Asked Mizuki as her red pupils were brighting in the darkness, Ambrosia smiled as he and Mizuki finally formalized their pact
Mizuki learned that night the real reason why alot of calamities happened around her, the truth was that Ambrosia had never left her, without nobody knowing it Mizuki was absorbing the spiritual power of the mount osore during those years, the accidents, deaths and calamity were things Mizuki had done by herself and resentment in her heart thanks to her powers and influence granted by her god, powers that just recently she had become aware of
That same night, sealing their pact Mizuki offered the entire village to her god in a showcase of her newfound loyalty to him, Mizuki burned down the entire village with her parents in it and every single one of the habitants screaming in pain and desperation. In the hills nearby, Mizuki stared at the burning village with a blank face, a small tear fell from her eyes but soon that blank stared transformed itself into a sick twisted smile as Mizuki enjoyed the image of her home burning to nothing but a crisp alongside the people that had mistreated her for almost her entire life
That night Mizuki Kai died alongside the village but Mizuki Rashoujin, the Marauding Deity was born out of the ashes of it
"A child that is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth."
Mizuki disappeared that night, only to reappear around the world bringing all sorts of calamities and tragedies to a world that had rejected her. A world that now she and her god were looking to put under their wills
Yet despite being inmortal, in order to increase her power, Mizuki needed to posses and absorb the bodies and souls of other people. She did this for around 700 years as she traveled around the world. But at one point the body she was sporting had arrived at its limit and she decided to sleep for a couple of years
Mizuki can be seen sleeping in a meditating pose inside a cave covered by a strange red shield around her body
Sengoku Period - 100 years later
By this time a young Maiko with knewledge of the mystic arts named Bizuki had been making a fame for herself traveling around japan dealing with any type of demonic creatures alongside her demon companion Haon and a shinobi named Hion. The two loyal assistants of Bizuki. Bizuki was capable of destroy and exorcise demons with her sacred dance technique, a powerful technique that ironically wouldn't pass unnoticed by a couple of members of a strange clan called The Yata who took parts of Bizuki's dances to add on to their techniques
Unlike Mizuki, Bizuki was seen as a beloved heroine in the villages she visited, the legends of her travels and prowess had been shared around the world, there was no demon Bizuki was afraid of. With her showing an arrogant smile at any attempt to make her spirit shaken, whatever was the problem, Bizuki and her two partners were willing to take care of it... Until one fateful day
Bizuki had arrived at a local village nearby the famous Mount Osore, having heard rumors that a demonic being tormented the village for what were years, a being nobody would dare to contront entering in the dangerous rocky path of the mount Osore... The demon that was only know as "Rashoujin"
Having nothing to lose and showcasing her overconfidence, Bizuki accepted the request of the locals to seal and exorcise this beast hiding in Mount Osore, Bizuki was confident that whoever Rashoujin was, this demon was going to end up suffering the same fate of all the other ones who had crossed paths with her... That was the biggest and last mistake Bizuki ever did
Bizuki and her partners made their way to the mount osore one night, they were confident in their victory and Bizuki in a bold way had dared to interrupt Mizuki's sleep to kill her and seal forever
"ARGH!" - Bizuki is seem being throw to the ground and grabed from the neck by this demon looking like a skeleton sporting black hair, this was the real form of Mizuki when she was not possessing a body
Yet Mizuki wasn't stupid, she knew this meddling woman who had dared to interrupt her sleep with the intention to seal her wasn't a mere pushover, she was a unique specimen across all the humans Mizuki had killed and robbed from their souls. For Mizuki it was like love at first sight when she realized the big chi and power Bizuki possesed for being just a human, she knew it would take years for another perfect host like Bizuki to appear and it would be a waste to kill her. Taking advantage of the mistake of the young Maiko, Mizuki possesed the body of the young woman sealing their fate forever, just as she thought, the amount of power Mizuki obtained from possessing the body of the Maiko was one that made her more dangerous than ever, spending the next 100 years together with her newfound body
Edo Period - 100 years later
A group of buddist monks took advantage of Mizuki's weakened state during this period to seal the demon in what was a fight where a big group of the monks sacrificed their life to seal her in the mount osore, Mizuki returned to sleep leaving earth in peace for at least a bit more couple of years.
Around 150 years later, a young Nicotine Caffeine and Kuroko climbed the mount in an attempt to challenge the demon and destroy it once it for all when some calamities were starting to happen around japan again signaling her return. While the fight was more intense of what they thought, they only managed to seal her body, however Mizuki's soul was still active causing calamity around japan

Because of the actions of Shiro Tokisada Amakusa almost bringing the evil god Ambrosia back, this ended up reactivating Mizuki's powers and she managed to awaken out of her slumber having taken advantage of the dark energy spread thanks to Amakusa's actions
"Is time!" - Said Mizuki now more than ever being determined to bring her god to the mortal plan and accomplish the plan that has been a dream for them for years
Mizuki traveled throught the world again making herself with the sacred palenke stone from south america and tagiers stone from China, using the power of the twin gems to bring a tsunami of calamity and disgraces into the world as well as to be able to bring her god back to this plane of existence.
"If these two gems are active and on my grasp, my lord Ambrosia could become a surpreme being and raise himself from the depths of the makai, I just need four heroic human souls who walk on the land as "Demons" to break the seal." - Using a crystal sphere, Mizuki was able to localize these four souls she needed to sacrifice and feed the stones' powers.
This souls in form of orbs were inside four warriors of that time
Haohmaru - Who has the crimson Gem Soul - Representing the roots of Nature
Jubei Yagyu - Who has the Blue Gem Soul - With self-healing abilities
Kyoshiro Senryo - White Gem Soul - Granted limitless movement and speed
Neinhalt Sieger - Black Gem Soul - Granted unsurpassed vision capable to see beyond the limits between the spirit world and the human world
"So this are the warriors whose souls I need to complete my plan, rakikiki! Then it shall be done my lord, you will see how I'll accomplish what has been our plan for ages, after years of slumber. I now feel more stronger than ever and whoever dares to cross in my path will be crushed." - Exclaimed Mizuki as she launched her army of demons and even made deals with dangerous humans of dark hearts to hunt these four warriors with her having the help of warriors like the cruel Genjuro Kibagami, the dirty and bloodthirsty Earthquake and the savage Genan Shiranui. All of her forces spreaded across japan and the world causing damage and absorbing energy of the entire planet to assure her victory and bring a new age of darkness, hatred, destruction, fear and desperation alongside her god Ambrosia.
"(And I would had get away with it! If it wasn't for her!)" - Says Mizuki in her thoughts as the image of what was the vision she saw when she crossed the portal that brought her to this planet
"(So this is what awaited me? If I had not been curious enough to cross that portal that moment, I would had ended up losing? No! I refuse to believe that! What kind of joke is this?)" - Mizuki holds her fist in anger remembering her vision, the image of her being bested by a young girl of black hair who fought with the help of a hawk and a samurai of black hair, as well as her defeat being when she and her hostess Bizuki were separated by the girl using this technique charging her knife with this strange blue chi
"(This damn brat was supposed to separate me from my dear Bizuki?! This is how I lose? What kind of stupid joke is this... How could I be so confident and let my guard down.)" - Mizuki admitted her pride would had taken the best of her, being what would had seal her original fate of losing against Nakoruru being her underestimating the priestess of the Kamui Kotan, in a way repeating the mistake her dear Bizuki did when she underestimated her years ago
"(And even after defeat, the damn little brat dared to stop the return of my god by sacrificing her own life to stop my plan!)" - Seeing Mizuki feeling frusated realizing her death and return to the Makai would had been for nothing as her god wouldn't had returned anyway and Nakoruru would had sacrifice her pure soul to save the earth from destruction
"(Whatever was the reason this so called Urbe brought me here. I should thank him, because now I'm more than ever determined to do things right! And I would had already get rid of almost all of those pathetic humans hadn't been for that man... Iori Yagami.)" - Mizuki returns back to the present staring at the heir of the Yagami
"(I sure made the small mistake of underestimating you before, I thought with a body like Kagura's one I was invencible, but this woman is somehow more stronger and weak than my dear Bizuki at the same time!)" - Mizuki
"(But I can't deny it, the power of the mirror and what I can do with it... Oh it sure is delicious, to have this big source of power all for myself. In the hands of that weakling Kagura, she only used it to make herself believe she was stronger, clearly god took the better sister out, Rakikikiki. Oh but don't worry, Chizuru. I promise I will make good use of your body all I can to torment your friends, starting with this damn gorilla first... The so called love of your life Rakikikiki! Oh humans and their stupid feelings, they always make me laugh, love is such a stupid emotion, people kill each other for it, humans are able to fall into a spiral of madness when they loss who they love... Pathetic!)" - Mizuki
"(Love is nothing but a farse! A mere cruel joke without purpose, one of humanity's weaknesses and one that I can take advantage of. After all, even if you deny it, Iori. You're still a human deep down.)" - Thought Mizuki as a sinister smile drawn on her face
"I don't know if calling you brave or stupid, for you to have come here to try to stop me all by yourself, probably I should admit you have more guts that I thought." - Mizuki
"Hmph! Beat it with all that crap, I'm not here to listen to your damn speeches, witch! You already know why I'm here!" - Iori
"I see someone is very eager to die, very well then! Come here little piggy! Show me your worst!" - Said Mizuki bringing her staff going into her battle stance and so does Yagami
In that moment Mizuki uses the ability of the mirror to summon four shadows of herself to attack Iori, she teleports using her seals appearing behind Iori as this ones manages to counter the shadows, Iori feeling Mizuki behind him manages to jump dodging Mizuki's attack
Mizuki throws a multiple number of seals in the air as traps for Iori covering a big portion of the forest for herself
"Now you won't have any place to hide, Iori." - Mizuki
"Grr." - Annoyed Iori runs to attack Mizuki again but Mizuki uses her claws to try to attack Iori, she jumps back ordering her pet Maju to attack Iori
"ARGH!" - Iori uses his 100 Shiki: Oniyaki on Maju hitting him with his flames, the demon of Mizuki vanishes only to appear behind him and soon Mizuki joins the fight with Iori being forced to deal with both at the same time
"Stupid beast!" - Iori uses his Ura 108 Shiki: Ya Sakazuki on Maju freezing him as he takes advante of it to attack Mizuki with his flames, Iori hits Mizuki with his 127 Shiki: Aoibana about to slam Mizuki on the ground but this one rolls with her using her 212 Katsu Otsu Shiki: Choumon no Isshin hitting Iori
"Arhg!" - Iori falls from the hill where they were fighing with him recovering standing in the river
"Still feeling confident? Don't make me laugh, Iori. When are you going to learn you're fighting with Kagura but against me?" - Mizuki
"Hehehehe, you're might not be her, but you're as annoying as her." - Iori
"Come on! You're never going to stop me like that, I want you to attack me with all your hatred. i want you to show that those words of you weren't mere empty words." - Mizuki
"Because you have no idea how much I'm going to enjoy to make you scream." - Mizuki
"Keep babbling about it, freak! You think you scare me? I have faced beings just like you who never know when to shut up! You're just like them!" - Iori
"Rakikikiki!" - Mizuki grabs her forehead laughing after hearing such answer
"I see fear is starting to rear his face in you, oh I assure little man, that you have never faced my like before if you really think I'm like the others!" - Mizuki
"Hmph! Prove it!" - Iori
Iori and Mizuku attack each other with Iori dodging the seals Mizuki throws at him, he jumps to a nearby tree doing a ferocious jump impacting Mizuki with his flames
"ARGH!" - Mizuki stumbles back as Iori attacks her using his Kin 1211 Shiki: Ya Otome
"Cry! Scream! And thus die!" - Says Iori using the last hit exploding Mizuki being tossed to the air
"Not enough!" - Iori then follows up with his Ura 316 Shiki: Saika as a pillar of purple fire was about to hit Mizuki but in that moment ending the attack, Iori sees Mizuki vanishing in mid air
"Huh?" - Iori reacts as one Mizuki disappears but he can still feel her chi nearby
"Not bad, I like your stare when you get angry. It almost gives me chills Rakikikiki!" - In that moment earth trembles as a giant worm like creature entrangles itsel on Iori's body grabing with such strong grip
Yagami is barely able to react as she is now being holded in the air by this worm, from the ground another worm makes his appearence with this one approaching looking at Iori moving his tongue from side to side of his lips
"I think our game session is over, Iori. You put a decent show but as I told you. The next time you wouldn't be so lucky anymore." - Mizuki appears staring at Iori with devilish smile as she sees her worm approach Iori to eat him alive
"Oh well I can't stay to play around much longer, it was while it lasted but this is where your misery ends, Yagami." - Mizuki
"GRRR!" - Iori feels enraged trying to break free from the grip of the worm holding him in mid air
