Hey, everyone! you miss me? Well, I missed you as well, fellow Thomas fans. and before we start, I had just gone through the reviews recently, and boy, what I shocked me, a pedophile had left the same message twice, and that pedophile went by the name of Gina, I just want to clarify that this story is not made for pedophiles, and the worst thing I find out about this is that I cannot get rid of that review, because there's noting I can do to get rid of it, if you spot Gina posting a message advertising her location, and if you are in that location, then be free to report her to the authorities, I cannot have her ruining or tainting this story and my reviews. someone alert the site that pedophiles are using this site as a message board to spread their activities, please, I do not want to associate with that pedophile, that is not who I am, nor will I ever be a pedophile. With that said, I will not come into contact with her, EVER. and with out out of the way...onto the wedding!

The day before the wedding came, the soon to be married couple were looking at the travel brochure magazine as they heard a knock on the front door.

Vanessa got up and went to the door, she opened the door to find her parents smiling and right in front of her. "Mom! Dad! I was worried you wouldn't make it in time." Her mother cackled happily. "Oh Vanessa darling, we got here a day early and we couldn't find you, though that was to be expected, after all, busy until the next day."

Mary looked at Fred, he wasn't what she was expecting, but she knew beggars couldn't be choosers, she looked to her husband, he had a look that she had seen countless times.

Fred knew he was being tested, he stood up and held out his hand and smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet you sir, my name is Fred Williams, I have been with your daughter, but I have taken good care of her, even though she's a handful at times." The father smiled, knowing that he could rest easy, at least for now.

"Likewise, my good man, and yes, my daughter can be a handful, but she means well. My name is John Lodge, and I hope you continue to treat my daughter with care, for if you hurt her..." The father warned, Fred knew this man acted like Soun Tendo from the Ranma anime, and he sounded exactly like the character, but there was something different between this man and Soun, but he had to worry about that later.

"I know what you mean, besides, you sound like a certain person who looks like the perfect martial artist, except he has three daughters and would instantly accuse his youngest daughter's boyfriend for cheating on her, mainly because it was out of the boy's control. I know that Vanessa's your only daughter, am I correct?"

John winced, he knew what Fred said was on par with what he knew, but was surprised at the speculation, he was more curious than confused.

"Uh...yes...are you what she described you as? An artist? A story teller?" Vanessa's father asked, Fred nodded to confirm John's question. "Yes to both of those, I am an artist, and a writer. Though, I also happen to be a collector. I also happen to be a fan of animation, and a lover of plastic models."

The mention of plastic models caught John's attention real fast. "Did you say plastic models?" He asked, Fred nodded. "I did, though the plastic models I've seen...well, I don't know how I could describe them to you." He answered, John didn't mind, he smiled.

"That's alright, besides, I think that is what we have in common." The man replied, Fred nodded as the two shook hands, Vanessa let out a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness that's over." but to her shock it wasn't over when Mary dragged Fred back over to the couch as she had what looked like a photo album, Fred could have sworn it was over a million pages long because he could see the words "family album".

Fred was glad his family wasn't here, but he regretted thinking that pretty quickly, he did miss them, and he hoped he would see them again soon, fortunately, his wish was sooner than he expected.

Another knock on the door came and and as Fred opened it, he saw his whole family standing right in front of him, he wondered how this was possible. While Fred was trying to think, one of his younger siblings tackled him to the ground snapping him back to reality.

"Ciel! Get off!" Fred shouted, the younger sibling did as she was told while giggling, Vanessa got a full good look at the full family.

Fred's father was a man in his fifties as he looked like a martial artist, Vanessa noticed that Fred's mother looked just like him, only with red hair and was in her late forties, which she found odd but didn't question it, what was even stranger.

the two girls had blond and red hair, respectively, she figured the two were twins as they were by far as she was aware, a lot younger than their older brother by six years, eighteen was her best guess, it was odd seeing a family with different hair colors, Fred and his father were both brunets, the mother and one of the girls were red heads, leaving the one girl she heard Fred call Ciel the only blonde in the family.

Vanessa was happy that Fred was reunited, but she wasn't the only one who found the family appearance to be odd, her parents however were the first to speak.

"I find it odd that your family looks a little out of place, but we won't question it, will we, dear?" Mary elbowed her husband as John shook his head.

"No, definitely not. However, I would like to get to know them."

Fred smiled, he stepped aside to left as the rest of his family in, father looked at him in surprise. "Did you get older?" He asked, Fred immediately responded. "Time flows differently here, I got older by four years, meaning I'm twenty six by now. By the way how did you get here?" He asked, he was waiting for an answer.

Ciel and the other family members were silent for a second before the red head twin answered. "Can we speak out back? We need to talk." Fred knew this was something he had to discuss alone with his family. Vanessa looked at her boyfriend, nodding in order to tell him to go on ahead.

Fred took his family out to the back yard as he started first. "Okay, what's so important that you have to tell me?" He asked, Ciel was more than willing to explain.

"Well, from what we can tell you, we were brought here by this mysterious person, she said that she knew where you were and she teleported us here, but we got here a day early, and if that wasn't weird enough, our money was replaced!"
Fred looked in thought, there was a difference between how he got to Sodor and how some random stranger teleported his family to the island a day before the wedding, but he couldn't find the connection, and how this stranger knew was not a coincidence, and on the day before the wedding, too! But at least he was glad that his family was here, that he could be greatful for, then he had a thought.

"So, how's everyone back home?" Fred asked, everyone shared a glance before looking back at him.

Fred's father went first. "Well, they were just as worried as we were, but...before we could search for you a year later, we got hit with the Corona virus." Fred looked worried, he wasn't hoping to catch a virus. "Hope you didn't catch it..." He replied, Ciel shook her head. "We didn't get it, we were stuck indoors and we all had to wait as it mostly passed..."

Fred let out a sigh of relief. "When that stranger told you, did you pack everything before being teleported here? Even my stuff?" He asked, the red head nodded. "Yep!" She answered happily, Fred smiled, he hugged his sister.

"Thanks, Abbey, that's all I need to know." He said, then Fred looked to his father. "By the way, I'm getting married, tomorrow."

That set off a bunch of questions until Fred calmed them all down.

"Alright, since you're wanting to know so bad, the girl you saw in the living room is my girlfriend, and her name is Vanessa Lodge." Fred explained, Ciel and Abbey grinned.

Fred knew those looks, he knew they were pranksters like Bill and Ben, luckily the two twin tank engines weren't even here yet, and if the two sets of twins met, it would be an all out prank war between them, luckily, the girls were more mature than Bill and Ben were, but he would have to introduce the girls to Donald and Douglas since they were twins, however, he didn't know that they were fans of the two tender engines.

Still, he'd have to watch out for the girls pranks.

Fred had enough for the moment as he had an idea. "How about I help you get all of our stuff into the attic, later? It'll save you some time." He offered, his father thought for a moment before he had something to say.

"Actually, your mother and I aren't going to be here after your wedding, but your sisters wanted to stay with you, at least you'll see them every day, besides, you'll have a part of us with you."

Fred looked a bit upset, but he knew that he'd see his sisters every day and they'd all be present on his wedding day. "I see, at least you'll get to see me marry the girl of my life, right?" He asked, his mother nodded as she started tearing up and smiled. "Yes, and you'll always be my baby boy."

Fred smiled as he and his mother hugged each other.

"Fred Williams."
Fred heard the voice as he let go of his mother and looked to a cloaked figure, the maroon and gold reminded Fred of Lady's paint work, he watched as the hooded figure removed the hooded part of her cloak, she had beautiful, golden hair reaching her shoulders, she spoke in a voice Fred was too familiar with.

"I have been watching you, for a long time, you did well to go far as to become a part of this universe, but there are still things you must go through."

Fred realized that this was Lady, but he didn't want to reveal her name just yet.

"Then that means...after my marriage, there are events yet to happen? Events that I know of?" The groom asked, the girl nodded. "Yes, your sisters are integral in helping you, even if it meant to bring your parents here, to see them before they are sent back."

Fred nodded sadly. "Is that...is that why you're here, Lady of the Magic Railroad?" He asked, the now revealed Lady nodded. "Yes, however, I am merely using an avatar in the form of a human, I cannot risk coming to the past as an engine, so I managed create an avatar, to avoid that paradox."

Fred nodded, seeing that logic making sense to him. "Then answer my question...how did I get to Sodor? Did you have anything to do with this?" He asked, Lady didn't move, Fred waited for an answer, finally, Lady spoke.

"It was an accident. Remember when I said that I created an avatar? The first time was an accident during the first attempt, and like regular magic, Gold Dust was unpredictable, even as a magical engine, I couldn't stop the current from plucking you from your home, I blame myself for what happened."

Fred listened as his family watched, the groom now understood why he was here, but he smiled, Lady expected him to yell and scream at her, but he didn't. "How can I blame you if I hadn't become a part of this journey? If it hadn't been for you, I wouldn't have met the love of my life, nor could I have been reunited with my family."

Fred then noticed that the sun hadn't moved, he looked to Lady's avatar, his eyes wide in surprise. "Did...did you just stop time?!" He nearly shouted, Lady's avatar smiled. "Of course, I learned many things while in my current position, you know where that is, don't you?" She replied, Fred knew exactly what she was talking about. "I do. Unfortunately, it's in a terrible state at this point in time. So that means when Thomas has to take Lily to Muffle Mountain, I have to be there for it to happen."

Lady's avatar nodded, the entire family was amazed, then Fred realized something, he saw things around him and his family speeding up, figuring out that time was resuming as normal while Lady's avatar was fading, before the avatar faded, she spoke one last time.

"We will meet again, Fred, one day, you will meet my future self once more in person aside from tomorrow."

Fred wondered what would happen afterwards, but he was more worried about the wedding, the door opened to reveal Vanessa coming out.

"Is everything alright?" Vanessa asked, Fred sighed as he looked to his soon to be wife. "My family and I will explain once your parents leave." He told her, Vanessa chuckled nervously. "About that, my parents are leaving right now, so if you want to see them before they come back tomorrow, now might be a good time."

Fred nodded as he went inside, he caught up with Vanessa's parents.

"Before you leave, I want to say a few things. The first thing I want to inform you is that my parents are leaving after the wedding, and the second thing I want to say is that you two are good parents for raising Vanessa." Fred told them, Mary cried happily, but John was upset.

"And here I was hoping to get to know your father more, but I understand that your parents are on a tight schedule, and I respect him." Fred nodded in understanding. "I understand, sir, or should I call you mom and dad?"

John and Mary looked at each other, they smiled, knowing a bright future was ahead of them as they faced their soon to be son in law. "Yes, you may, but why are your parents leaving instead of your sisters?" Mary asked, Fred sighed, he didn't want to lie to his future mother and father in law, so he decided to tell them an abridged version.

"My sisters wanted to stay with me so my parents could go back home, and...the person who brought them here is on a time limit, she can't be argued with, she is someone I know, but she wants me to keep her identity a secret, we're afraid she might be targeted if she were found out."
Vanessa's Parent's then nodded, they knew this was serious. "Very well, dear. We know when not to pry into someone's personal problems, but we would offer this person a safe haven in our home if we knew where she was." Mary said, John nodded in agreement, Fred watched them leave as Vanessa and his family came in.

"Did you say goodbye?" Vanessa asked, Fred looked at her, he looked uneasy. "In a way...and I'll tell you what I told them, but it's the unabridged version you'll need to hear."

Vanessa was shocked after Fred told her the full story, she looked to his parents, hoping that they would say it wasn't true, they didn't, it was clear to her now.

Now that she knew that she wouldn't try to change their minds, Vanessa hugged her soon to be husband and cried on his shoulder.

Fred let his girlfriend calm down a few minutes later, it was in the evening time as the group sat at the dinner table, Fred's parents were telling stories about Fred and his sisters.

"...And then Fred proceeded to turn the table on his sisters, oh...Harold and I were laughing when we got caught in the crossfire, leading us to throw water balloons at them in retaliation!" Fred's mother finished as Vanessa laughed out loud, Fred smiled, his sisters were embarrassed, Harold chuckled.

"Oh yeah, that was years ago when they were kids, now, looking at them today, it'll be hard living without them."

Everyone felt the happy mood go somber, then Fred thought of a story. "Well, to break this bad atmosphere, I've got a story to tell." Vanessa perked up, she wanted to know what story Fred was going to tell.

"Well, I've been on this Island for six years with the stories Vanessa and I could tell you all." With Vanessa's help, the family was laughing at some of the stories as they were interested in the current story, Fred was telling them about the time he, Tim and Duck stopped a breakaway from becoming a nasty accident.

"And so...Tim and I jumped out of Duck as he crashed into the wall of the barbershop, nobody was hurt other than me and Tim getting minor bruises, poor Duck, he frightened the barber's customer, and he got his face lathered with shaving cream. Thomas and Henry were able to rescue him, though, and that's when Vanessa and I announced that we would be getting married."

Ciel and Abbey were awestruck by the story, they were happy for their brother, Fred's mother wept tears of joy as Harold had had his son in a headlock, laughing happily. "Well, how about that? My son's finally a man!" He chortled, Fred just smiled as his father let him go.

It was night time as nearly everyone went to bed, Fred and Vanessa were in the master bedroom as they sat on opposite sides of the bed.

"Tomorrow's the wedding, we better get ready." Fred stated, Vanessa nodded in agreement as they went to sleep.

The day of the wedding had finally come and everyone had gotten the invitation at Knapford Station, even some of the engines were there along with Mr. Conductor & Junior, and unknowingly, Samantha and her men were there as well, but this time, they weren't here to cause trouble, they were here to witness the wedding, and get to know the enemy, but no one was aware of that, yet.

With Vanessa, Ciel, Abbey, Mary and Fred's mother were helping Vanessa prepare for the main event as Fred and the men all were all preparing for the wedding that meant, Gilbert, Mr. Arkwright, Peter, Tim, John and Fred's father as well.

"This is it." The groom and Bride said to their respective groups, everyone nodded as the two continued. "We've waited all this time to make it happen, and I don't want to miss this opportunity, it only happens once in our lives, and our life is so short, and we may not get another shot at this."

It was time for the wedding, Sir Topham Hatt was dressed as the priest as he saw Fred arrive first. "Cutting it a bit close, don't you think?" He asked, Fred only rolled is eyes as the crowd chuckled, Samantha looked at Fred with interest and hate, there was something she didn't like about him, her look had not gone unnoticed by Fred, his mind told him that he should be alert about the girl.

His attention was broken off when he saw Vanessa being escorted by her father, Ciel and Abbey were not far behind, they were the flower girls, Tim was right next to him as he was the ring bearer, Fred could see Mr. and Ms. Kindley in the crowd with their daughter.

Well, I'll be, the Kindleys are here. Fred thought as he smiled mentally, he then looked at Vanessa who was wearing her mother's wedding dress, she looked beautiful.

Once her father let go and sat down with his wife, he, like everyone else, was silent as the wedding began.

Vows were exchanged as Tim handed the rings to the couple, to which, they put on their respective ring fingers. All that was left was to say the "I do" part.

Sir Topham Hatt then began to speak the last part.

"Do you, Fredrick Williams, take Vanessa Lodge to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness unto death?"

Fred nodded he answered, not looking at Sir Topham Hatt as he smiled.

"I do."

Then Sir Topham Hatt repeated the question to Vanessa.

"And do you, Vanessa Lodge, take Fredrick Williams to be your lawfully wedded husband, in sickness unto death?"
Vanessa nodded she returned Fred's smile back at him.

"I do."

Sir Topham Hatt chuckled as he said what everyone wanted to hear.

"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you, husband and wife."

Everyone but Samantha's group cheered, the reception went smoothly, the engine that Fred and Vanessa chose to be have as their getaway was Edward, and he had a coach with him, it was also meant for the family.

Samantha looked at them, she wouldn't let them out of her sight, the group quietly followed the newly weds up to Wellsworth Station as they hid themselves behind the station.

Samantha was about to spy on them, when they found themselves suddenly teleported back to the company building, Fred couldn't help but feel a breeze brush past him. He saw Lady's avatar in front of him as he and the family saw her again, this was Mary and John's first time seeing the avatar.

"Who is this stranger? I've never seen her, before." Mary said to Fred, he turned to face her.

"This is but an avatar of the magical engine named Lady, she created this avatar to interact with this world, and she's the reason my family is here, but only my parents are to go back after the wedding, as I have told you yesterday."

He informed, John was blown away with this news, but he kept his composure.

"And I assume she has to do with your family being here?" The father in law asked, Lady's avatar nodded to confirm his answer.

"I am, I figured to bring his family here, and after what I have seen yesterday, I have also decided to bring his parents back here on certain occasions such as Halloween and Christmas, I cannot take away something like family away from Fred, and I promise to bring his parents to Sodor whenever I can."

Fred smiled, this was a sign of things to come, then Lady's avatar said something else.

"I see great things in your future, but there will be obstacles in your way."

Fred knew there had to be something or someone to confront, he hoped Sailor didn't John come early, but that wasn't the case as Lady's avatar had spoke again.

"As you saw, the woman who looked at you with hate and gave you that uneasy feeling, followed you here and was about to spy on you when I intervened. I know who she is."

Everyone wanted to know who the woman was waited, but Lady's avatar giggled. "Sorry, but I can't tell you her name, that would spoil the surprise."

Nobody laughed, Lady's avatar went back to being serious.

"But in all seriousness, her men sabotaged the incident with the spiteful brakevan, all others were purely accidents, the boys who messed with James's controls had no involvement with her men, the accident with Diesel and those old freight cars was just purely an accident, and so was the breakaway, but still, you have a honeymoon to get to, do you?"

Everyone realized that she was right, Fred's parents had went over to Lady's avatar as she teleported them back to Fred's old home.

Ciel and Abbey looked at each other, then they looked to John and Mary. "We'll have to start calling you mom and dad now, too, huh?" Abbey asked, Mary laughed heartily.

"Oh my dears, yes you may. I was wondering if you were going with your parents, but if you are staying, that's wonderful!" she replied, John nodded in agreement.

"Indeed, it'd be nice to have two more daughters around, Vanessa has been the only girl in our family."

Ciel and Abbey smiled, they looked at their new sister, Vanessa hugged them as they returned the hug.

At last, it was time for Fred's parents to go, he gave them one last hug before they disappeared into gold dust.

Fred turned to face Vanessa's parents, John went first. "You don't have to say anything, Fred, you have our full support."

Mary nodded in agreement, hugging her new son in law. "Besides, we want grandchildren after this."

"MOM!" Vanessa shouted, looking flustered and embarrassed, Mary laughed.

John and Fred chuckled as the two faced each other.

"I'll try and be there for her, dad. Promise."

"As long as you treat her right, we won't have any problems."

Fred nodded, not wanting to make his father-in-law furious.

Edward had been silent the entire time, but he had to make himself known.

"Um...excuse me, but can I say that we're running late?"

Fred and the others remembered that Edward was with them and had heard everything.

"Oh, Right."

Fred and the others scrambled to their respective places, while Vanessa got out of her wedding dress and into her work clothes, putting her wedding dress in a box.

Edward left the station a minute later as Fred and Vanessa were at the harbor as they were going to see John and Mary off, they said their goodbyes as Vanessa's parents boarded the boat.

Vanessa started weeping, she wouldn't get to see her parents again until they would decide to come back in the future.

A while later at Knapford station, Fred and Vanessa were speaking to Sir Topham Hatt about what the married couple were going to do on their honeymoon.

"Hmm, I see, you want to go to America, but why?" Sir Topham Hatt asked, Fred began to explain.

"Well, I want to take Edward with us, I know he doesn't get out much, but I want him to act as our mode of transportation."

Sir Topham Hatt didn't know what to think, he was rather unsure about letting Fred and Vanessa take Edward on their honeymoon.

"Even so, Edward still has work to do here."

Fred nodded, he understood, but the honeymoon was more important to both him and Vanessa.

"We know that sir, but might I suggest James do Edward's work? I'm sure he'll need convincing."

Sir Topham Hatt did think about James, and he knew that James did want to run a branchline sometime ago, he didn't like that Edward was going, but it would be nice for a change if James did his work.

"Very well. Though I don't know if James will like it."

Fred then thought about James, knowing the red engine wouldn't like it.

"It's a small price to pay, normally our honeymoon would take two months, but we'll make it a month, this is a special case, after all."

Sir Topham Hatt didn't see the harm in that.

"Very well, just as long as you get back in time. Tell the engines when you get to the sheds." The controller ordered, Fred and Vanessa nodded, said their goodbyes to Sir Topham Hatt as they went to the sheds later that night.

"Here they come!" Thomas called to the other engines as they saw the married couple arrive.
"Evening everyone. Hope we're having fun." Fred said as everyone chuckled.

Gordon was the first to be curious, he wanted to know where Fred and Vanessa were going.

"Where are you headed off to, Fred?"
Fred smiled as he announced where he and Vanessa were going.

"We're going to America, and we're bringing an engine with us, too."

The engines were arguing about who wanted to go except Edward, Fred didn't like where this was going, he whistled as the rest of the engines stopped arguing, he got their attention.

"Thank you. Now, as I was saying, We're bringing an engine, but, the engine we'll be bringing with us is Edward, and before some of you start complaining, This honeymoon will only take a month, this is a special case, and we need Edward as..."

"But what about me? I'm big, strong and fast, and..." Gordon interrupted, before Fred countered back.

"Do you have experience with mountains?" That shut Gordon up really quick, Fred took the big engine's silence for an answer.

"Thought so." Fred turned back to the rest of the engines.

"As I was SAYING before Gordon interrupted, we need Edward as transportation, now, we can't go all over America, we'll be going through states that I haven't be to before, while we're away, James will look after Edward's branchline."

This got a shock out of James. "But why?" Fred sighed, knowing how hard it would be to convince the red engine.

"Simple, you will do all of Edward's jobs, that includes shunting freight cars along with coaches, and taking care of passengers, and you will also have to be Gordon's back engine if he ever gets stuck up the hill. You will do these jobs without fussing or complaining, and no bashing or bumping those cars. Do you understand?"

James gulped, Fred was expecting a lot from him, and he didn't want to make the married man mad.

"Yes Fred, I'll do Edward's jobs while you're away."

Fred was satisfied with that response.

"Good, and no tormenting those freight cars. We don't want another accident, now do we, James?"

James looked embarrassed, he didn't want to have another accident, he remained silent, Fred then turned to Edward.

"Think you can teach James to learn the ropes about being a branchline engine?"

Edward smiled, but he didn't know if he could teach James properly.

"I hope I can before we leave tomorrow."

Fred then had second thoughts, he wanted to help James for once.

The day that followed had James complaining, but he soon understood the importance of branchlines.

Fred, Vanessa and Edward left on boat the next day.

Well, I think we're getting off on the right foot in this direction, besides, I decided to make a spinoff as it's still in development at this time, and it will focus on the honeymoon, and yes, other engines will appear in the spinoff as they won't appear until they debut in future chapters in this story. with that said, I'm still ticked off about that pedophile, and as I said, I hate that she left the same message in the review section, and the reason I said that is because she left that message as a guest and there's an error saying I have to log in when I'm already logged in.
