46. (In-game Wii U moments/hopes) Upon going through yet another stage together, Amy and Sonic have split off from Knuckles and Tails to continue on to finding Eggman and Lyric. The two seem to work well, until some playful banter gets in the way… "Hey Amy, you always look this good?" Amy makes a shocked noise escape her lips as Sonic laughs. "You're just to easy!" "Ohh! Why can't you just be honest sometimes!? Is that to much to ask?" "Aw, come on, I was just playing!" He heads to fight a robot off when Amy lassos it with her Enerbeam and pulls it over to her, defeating it on her own. "Hey! That was my kill!" "And here's my punchline!" She punched the robot to him and it stumbles over, seeming about ready to fall on him. "W-w-woah!" it falls on Sonic, trapping him as Amy struts over to him, and leans down. She uses her hammer to tilt Sonic's head up to her, "Sorry, I was just being playful." she teases. "Alright, I get it. But who says I was lying?" He smirked, and Amy got him off the robot and offered him her hand, which he took and dusted himself off as the robot explodes. "Wahh! That was close!" Sonic gets a bit spooked by the explosion as Amy carries along down the path. "You're unspeakably observant, Sonic." "Ohh~ Now look whose finally learned to play along.." he smiles and follows after her. She rolls her eyes, "Irresistible, I guess." "Wait, I thought being playful meant we weren't honest?" "What?" Cause clearly, your unable to resist my charm~" he playfully flicks a quill of hers as he passes her and goes off to complete another butt-whooping of bad guys. Amy is blushing and trying to fight back her obvious embarrassment and joy of that matter and rushes into the fray. "I SWEAR! YOUR SUCH A NARCISSIST!" "Nar-resistant-ist?" he winked to her, and she just groaned. (Cute moments in the game! PLEASE?! YES?! SEGA, IS THAT A MAYBE?!)
47. (In game 3DS moments/hopes) After being kidnapped, Lyric tries to get Amy to tell him where the next few crystals are. But she refuses to tell him. Sonic learns that Amy is missing and quickly begins his trek to round up the others to save her, which Amy hears about from Lyric's men, telling him that Sonic and her friends are coming after him to free Amy. "What?! Thisss is unacceptable!" He flings his body back, cringing from anger it seems, as Amy glares and clamps her teeth shut. "My friends won't give up until I'm safe! Face it!" She growls out. "You've lost already!" "Sssilence! you impudent-" he lifts his robot arm, as if to strike her, as she turns away before- CRASH! "Hold it right there, you slimy vile reptile!" Sonic and the others burst down the door, as the assistant to Lyric, who was trying to warn him, shouts out in terror and hides behind some boxes of junk. "Ssso, you are Sssonic." "Nope, just Sonic. Whose this Sssonic?" Sonic kids, before seeing Amy all hanging up and seeming stuck to one of his machines. "Amy! Are you alright!?" "Never better.." she teases, smiling to him. "What took you so long!? So much for the title of fastest thing alive." She kid. "Yeah well, I had to get my crew." he folded his arms as Tails, Knuckles, and Sticks appeared behind him. "Amy! Don't you worry, I won't let him inject his sick venom into you!" Sticks almost re-enacts her words, but looks genuinely concerned. "Sticks! Tails! Knuckles!" "You don't think we'd have let Sonic take all the credit for this rescue, do you?" Knuckles punched his fist into his other hand, and smiled. "We're here to save ya, Amy! All of us!" Tails cheered. "I don't think ssso!" Lyric gives a powerful battle cry and then slams on a button. Tails, Knuckles, and Sticks are forced upon the magnetic machine but Sonic misses it by hanging on to something close by. "Oh no! Guys!" They all are now stuck on the machine with Amy. "Hang on!" After some time of trying to beat Lyric on his own, Sonic is exhausted. Tails turns Lyrics attention to them, as he motions with his tail for Sonic to hit the switch and help free them so they can help him defeat Lyric. While distracting him with insults and other things, Lyric begins to rise in anger. "Do you really think you're preciousss Sssonic can really sssave you now!?" "I do!" Amy jumps in the fray, deciding she should help distract him too, as Sonic slowly sneaks towards the device. "Really? After he ssso bravely FELL to hisss kneesss?!" Lyric turns his attention to Amy, who looks gently away from Lyric, and to Sonic. "He would never leave his friends behind… nor would be let them suffer. He's a hero in my eyes! And in anyone whose ever met him as well can testify of that! He WILL defeat you! He just needs-" Sonic chimed in, getting his confidence and spunk back, thanks to everyone words. "a little bit of help!" he pushes the button and they're freed. "WHHHATT?!" "You wouldn't understand! Cause you've never had friends who care about you!" The gang get back together, share a moment, and then get ready to fight again. At the end, Sonic approaches Amy. "You alright? Hanging in there okay without us?" he snickered. "As a matter of fact…" she pulls him toward her with her lasso, and he's forced right up against her, face to face… "I was waiting to give my hero his just rewards for saving me… so…" she moves slightly closer, as Sonic's face slowly turns to horror as he gets more and more uncomfortable. "valiantly." she cooed, quietly, as if whispering it as he quickly escapes her grasps and runs a ways away from her. "A hero never asks for payment! Let's go guys!" "Ohh… you can't escape me that easily Sonic!" She chases after him, as Sticks looks confused, looking to Tails and Knuckles. "What was all that touchy-touchy for?" "I think you mean, cutesy-wutsey." Tails corrected her, having a sweat drop on the side of his face. "Nope, I meant touchy-touchy. Did you SEE how close there bodies were?" "Well,… besides THAT incident, they're usually pretty close." Knuckles runs off to catch up with them. "Well, what he means is, close as in… possibly more than friends." Tails flies off to pursue them as well, after trying to explain to Sticks. "Ohh…OHHHH YOU MEAN LIKE MEGA BEST FRIENDS?!" She runs off after them. "HEY! GUYS! I WANNA BE ULTRA BEST FRIENDS TOO!"
