INM 2: Today's Big Scoop!
"That last story was not normal at all." You told llama god.
"Fine, you want something normal how about this." Arceus rolled her eyes and skipped some pages in her INM book as she began narrating.
The Unova Region, 1962.
Castelia City is a beautiful modern grand city, full of busy office workers, crazy good pizza times and of course... crime...
"Everyone hands where i can see them!" Armarouge pointed his blaster hand at scared workers of a local coffee shop.
"Everyone just stay calm and give us the cash will ya, nobody has to get hurt 'round here." Inteleon grins as he pointed his finger gun ready to shoot a devastating pressurized water snipe.
"Please don't hurt me! Take everything!" Wailord cried out as the crooks stole his gold watch.
"Scaredy Cat..." Skitty side eyed him boredly as a thief stole her pearl necklace.
"Wait how is there a Wailord inside a shop?" You asked.
"Do not interrupt the story! ...As i was saying..." Arceus kept reading.
"You know he's gonna s-stop you right?" Said a terrified looking Marowak.
"Psh do you really think we are scared of an insect!" Laughed Krokorok
"We can smash Em!" Gurdurr smirks.
"Woah at least take me out on a date first eh guys?" said a friendly voice.
The thugs all turned around and saw a metallic like Ariados, looking sort of like a future paradox mon.
"It's the Iron Spider!" Yelled out Nuzleaf pointing at the Metal Ariados crawling on the roof of the coffee shop.
"I know it's early and you criminals need your coffee to start off your day of crimes but this is still illegal!" Iron Spider jumped and shot Spider Webs at Nuzleaf and Krokorok.
The thieves were stuck in the silky webbing.
Armarouge and Inteleon took cover as began shooting at him.
"Hey shooting practice is only on tuesdays!" Iron Spider dodged the shots and fired off some webbing, sticking Armarouge and Inteleon to the wall.
"Augh!" Armarouge groans trying to free himself much to no success.
"Ey, I'm walking here!" Inteleon sounded annoyed.
"Come on Eduardo, you and your gang of mafiosos have been sent to jail four times this year already, take a chill pill will ya?" Iron Spider leaned against a wall smugly.
"Grrrr Crush Em!" Inteleon ordered.
"AYE AYE BOSS!!!" Gurdurr broke a wall, picked up the piece and threw it at the Iron Spider crushing him.
"Noooo!!!" Marowak yelled out.
Skitty gasped worried.
Wailord cried.
"Hehehe... huh?!" Gurdurr chuckled and then looked confused.
The wall rubble was slowly moving and being lifted by the one and only Iron Spider.
"I know people love breaking the fourth wall but come on this is ridiculous!" Iron Spider used his super strength to throw the wall right back at the muscle thug hurting him.
Iron spider ran quickly towards the criminal, the Gurdurr tried to punch and hit him but missed due to the Iron Spiders agility and speed.
Iron Spider jumped over him and shot him multiple times with spider webs until the brute couldn't move anymore.
"I'll destroy you Iron Spider!" Gurdurr snarls, suddenly the webbing became electrified and Gurdurr yelled in pain before being knocked out.
"Bad guys losing yet again? Shocking." Iron Spider rolled his eyes as he helped all the civilians escape and returned their belongings.
Police outside the coffee shop began putting the criminals inside cop cars, all still in webbing.
"Thank you Iron Spider!" Wailord cheered.
"You're our savior!" Skitty smiles.
"I always knew you'd help us!" Marowak looked happy.
"I was just around the neighborhood." Iron Spider looked happy to have helped out.
Then a large blue bird with cloud clothing and round glasses came rushing in onto the scene, the Altaria looked happy as she was holding a notepad.
"Gabby Roxy reporting for duty! Iron Spider please tell us more details about your close encounter with dreadful crime!" She interviewed the hero.
"Criminals never learn their lesson, don't wanna get your butts kicked? Don't be bad guys; simple as that." Iron Spider spoke.
"Are you from the future perhaps?!" Gabby asked.
"Um, i don't think so haha." Iron spider now said awkwardly.
"So you're wearing some sort of high tech mechanized suit?! Come on you gotta show us who you are, you can be famous!" Gabby cheered.
"Sorry, i don't do this for fame...i can't reveal myself or it could make the people I'm close to be hurt hope you understand..." Iron Spider spoke as he shot a web and began swinging away.
"Wow so humble, so strong, so cool! The Iron Spider is without a doubt the coolest super hero in the Unova Region!" Gabby Roxy looked happy as she kept rapidly writting on her notepad.
Then we cut off to a newspaper headline.
IRON SPIDER: MENACE TO CASTELIA CITY!
The Creepy Crawly has been spotted bashing a couple of ethnic crooks on a family owned coffee shop in Orange St.
Witnesses confirm Iron Spider brutally smacked and shocked a defenseless strongman! More on page 4.
"I see you edited my submission to your liking Mr Jay Jonah Jellicent." Gabby frowned.
A big blue Jellicent was looking away out his window, then turned around as he was smoking a big cigar.
"Yea i told the editors to do some changes, you know what i think? That the Iron Spider is a criminal to be! What kind of crazed lunatic wears a mechanical spider suit and jumps around leaving gross spider webbing everywhere, an Iron Crazed Lunatic is what!" Jellicent scoffed indignantly.
"But Iron Spider saved the lives of a lot of people today, and in the past as well sir." Gabby told Jay.
"Listen Gabby, we need to expose Iron Spider for the true menace he is, he's a ticking time bomb waiting to blow off! Who's to say his hero shtick isn't a cover up for his evil master plan! We gotta be 10 steps ahead of this guy, so your new task is finding out more about this guy, got it?" Jellicent asked.
"Y-yes boss, but... Iron Spider is very hard to track down, only way to see him is usually at crime scenes." Gabby told him.
"Come on Ms Roxy, think outside the box! What does spiders like? Flies? What are criminals most like? Dirty insects!" Jellicent was thinking of a Spinarak.
"Like flies." Gabby looked thoughtful.
"Huh what oh yeah that too, case and point... you want to interview the spider, you gotta go where a crazed weirdo like him would be... the meanest darkest most dangerous city in all of Castelia." Jellicent leaned on his chair and smoked his cigar.
"BlackJack City... are you sure it's safe for me to go there?" Gabby asked.
Jellicent wheezed and laughed, he then looked at her and laughed again.
Gabby Roxy had a straight face.
"You serious?" Jellicent gave her a bored look.
"Well-" Gabby glanced away.
"Listen gabs, BlackJack City is a crime filled town, where all the crazy bad guys and super villains love to hang out in Castelia City of course it's dangerous! That's why I'm willing to quadruple the pay for anyone to get me pictures of Iron Spider hanging around there!" Jellicent spoke.
"Wow really!?" Gabby looked amazed.
"Every other newspaper business wants to have a picture of Iron Spider on their front page, portrayed as a hero saving a maiden in distress or whatever!" Jellicent rolled his eyes and smoked his cigar.
"I want my front page to expose Iron Spider for the fraud he is! That's why he has to be in that specific city, no goody two shoes hero would hang out in a crime filled dump like that." Jellicent told her.
"I see..." Gabby spoke.
"Now go, i need a big headline by next Sunday or else we'll have to go as low as advertising some sort of run down crappy hotel, go get me that spider Ms Roxy!" Jellicent ordered.
"Yes S-sir!" Gabby saluted.
She exited Jay Jonah Jellicents office and sighed.
"He edited your paper again didn't he?" said a friendly voice.
"Yeah he did... not sure why he never wants to paint Iron Spider as the hero he is but well he's the boss... no other news company is willing to hire me, specially with money being so tight recently." Gabby frowns.
"Yeah you and me both Gabs, we gotta do what we gotta do for the job." Spoke the nerdy looking male Ledian.
Gabby and Ledian were both walking out of the office and into the elevator.
"So any orders given by the boss?" Asked Ledian.
"Apparently i have a special offer to photograph Iron Spider somewhere in BlackJack City..." Gabby Roxy shrugs.
"B-blackJack City?! That super clanky looking place that's filled with crooks and it's like...next level dangerous!? Why would he think Iron Spider hangs around there?" Ledian asked.
"I don't know James but the pay to potentially catch Iron Spider there is too high to pass up, really need those Iron Spider pictures to pay for this months rent, living in NYC ain't exactly cheap." Gabby told him.
"You said it, it's always been a struggle money wise." James Parker told her.
The Elevator was going down and Gabby began venting to her best friend.
"As a young Swablu i always adored watching the news and reading newspapers, so i did my best to excell in journalism and get hired, but only Daily BudNews was willing to hire me..." Gabby looked a bit down.
Ledian stared at her frowning.
"That's why i have to proof my worth to Mr Jay, if i can do the impossible for him i might even get a promotion!" Gabby looked hopeful.
"If that's what you want, good luck gabs... I'll probably just write my research on the hotel..." Ledian told her.
"Thanks for being my best friend James, nobody else really gets how important it is for me to meet Iron Spider." Gabby nods.
The Ledian gives a small smile and nods back.
The elevator finally reached the bottom floor and they both went their separate ways.
(BlackJack City 8:40PM)
We see the Altaria walking around the shady looking city, she was holding an old camera.
"O-okay just.. f-find Iron Spider and then dip... sounds easy enough..." Gabby Roxy looked worried as she glanced from left to right.
She didn't know it but she was being stalked by shadowy figures.
She heard a noise, the Altaria was on guard.
"W-who goes there!? I warn you, i know Disarming voice!" Gabby threatened but she was afraid.
"Well well well what do we have here?" Said a Metal Octillery.
"Bot Ock! What are you doing here!" Gabby looked nervous.
"We should be asking the same question!" A large Palossand glared.
"Sand Guy!" Gabby looked nervous.
"You're on our turf now hahahaha!" Laughed a goblin wearing green.
"The Green Morgrem!" Gabby backed away slowly but she was surrounded.
"She's cute, let's slash her!" Growled a large purple scorpion.
"Dreadpion..." Gabby Roxy was looking around for an exit.
"You are really in a bad s-spot now!" Regieleki twitched and sparked.
"The Zapper!" Gabby eeks.
"You really think your insect will be able to save you now..." Smirked a black Ditto who shapeshifted into an evil version of Iron Spider.
"Poison..." Gabby Roxy was terrified.
"Together we are The Scary Six! And Iron Spider isn't anywhere here to defend you, however if we get his attention we can kill him!" Bot Ock grins.
"Hehehe yeah!" Green Morgrem laughed.
"I like sand." Sand Guy spoke.
"Who is this guy?" Whispered Dreadpion.
"Temporary replacement for Vulture, she's in vacation right now..." Bot Ock whispered at him.
We cut away to a Mandibuzz chilling in a beach, she was sun tanning wearing sunglases.
We go back to the dark spooky city as the six villains close in.
"Iron Spider will stop you, he's the strongest there is!" Gabby glared.
The villains all laughed quite evilly, other than Sand Guy his was a bit goofy ngl.
"You don't get it do you, nobody is coming for you birdie!" Poison smirks evilly showing off a large quantity of fangs.
"H-help! Someone!" Gabby began trying to fly away but The Zapper shocked and paralyzed her.
"Ouch! Augh..." Gabby groaned in pain as the super villains were all laughing at her.
"Six against one? Come on guys this isn't fair okay!" Said a familiar friendly voice.
Many super villains quickly turned around and indeed saw a futuristic robotic looking Ariados.
"The Iron Spider!" The Green Morgrem snarls.
"Now now baddies, it's time you all took a vacation as well! To Jail!" Iron Spider swung down in a spiderweb.
The Zapper tried shocking him and Green Morgrem threw pumpkin looking exploding bombs at him.
Iron Spider dodged them flawlessly and used his agility to quickly swipe Gabby.
Iron Spider placed Gabby on top of a building.
"Are you okay ma'am?" Iron Spider asked.
Gabby Roxy just nodded surprised, unable to speak due to shock.
"Don't worry I'll take care of these goobers real quick!" Iron Spider quickly jumped down and kicked Dreadpion in the face.
Bot Ock tried using his robotic octupus arms to grab Iron Spider but he dodged it swiftly; Sand Guy tried hugging Iron Spider to catch him but he ran and charged straight through him.
Sand Guy was desperately trying to collect more sand to rebuild himself.
Iron Spider was almost electrocuted by The Zappers bolts of lightning; he was barely able to get away.
Green Morgrem laughed as he flew on a glider and threw bombs at Iron Spider, however Iron Spider shot a web at his glider and then swung it so it hits Dreadpion who was just standing up.
Dreadpion and Green Morgrem groaned on the ground in pain.
The Zapper growls as they shot more thunder at the Iron Spider; however they dodged the attacks.
Iron Spider quickly kept shooting Spider Webbing at The Zapper until he was trapped in a ball of electric resistant silk.
A black sludge slid away towards the top of the roof.
Iron Spider shot Dreadpion and Green Morgrem with spider webs and trapped them both so they'd be unable to flee.
He then quickly recharged his web shooters and kicked Sand Guy who almost finished rebuilding himself.
"Oh come on!" Sand Guy decided to cut his loses and flee.
Suddenly our hero was hit by a large metallic arm, then another, then another!!!
Bot Ock growls as he used his octopus arms to constrict Iron Spiders movements.
"Come on Otto, i know you're still in there..." Iron Spider looked at his enemy with hope in his eyes.
"Otto is gone, just like you will be once we are done with you Iron Spider!" Bot Ock glares and his octopus claws turned into saws as they began inching closer and closer to Iron Spider.
The hero shot webbing at Bot Ock and used his zapping ability to stun him and himself.
Iron Spider groaned as he hurted himself in order to be freed.
Bot Ock was dazed and enraged.
Quickly Iron Spider used his webbings to tie all of Bot Ocks metal arms together making it impossible for him to move.
"Maybe one day we'll find a way to bring you back professor..." Iron Spider lookef at him with sorrow as Bot Ock could only struggle and curse the spiders name.
"How many times were you defeated this year?" Asked Green Morgrem still trapped.
"Six..." Dreadpion huffed disappointedly.
The Zapper gave muffled screams as he was still trapped inside the ball of spider silk.
Iron Spider sighed and breathed a bit as he began climbing the walls of the building, at the top he saw Gabby Roxy still waiting for him.
"Well took care of those guys, they should leave this city alone for a whil-" Iron Spider was saying as he walked closer to the Altaria who was looking away from him.
When he was close enough Altaria gave a horrific screech as her eyes were white and her beak was filled with sharp fangs.
Iron Spider was taken aback and quickly jumped back and got in a fighting position.
"Oh how brave of you Spider, how brave... now how about we fuse together again and I'll show you what true power is like.." Gabby Roxy had a man voice as she began to shapeshift into black goo and turned into a large Ditto.
"The only power you gave me Poison was made me act like a total jerk to everyone i loved! That's why i got rid of you and that's why you're going far away from anyone that you can hurt!" Iron Spider glares at him.
"But my new host loves having all these powers Spider Boy, he finds it very... spectacular... hehehe..." Poison smirks evilly.
"Stop it you parasite... where is the bird, where is Gabby Roxy?" Asked Iron Spider.
"That klutz was just bait to lure you here, she won't be needing help anytime soon, specially since you'll be busy with me!" Poison snarls and jumps at him.
We cut to Gabby being stuck in black Spider Webs.
"Oh man this is so gross... how many times am i gonna have to get kidnapped for weird bad guys..." Gabby looked annoyed as she was tied yet again to a rooftop.
"It's always oh no Iron Spider your friend is in danger, oh no Iron Spider its either her or the innocent kids, oh no Iron Spider stole that guys pizza! Like... i just wish something new happened around this city..." Gabby Roxy looked irritated at being a damsel in distress yet again.
She was hearing all these grunts, yells and metal being banged but was in a position where she couldn't see anything.
"Gosh darn it, if i could only reach my camera and get a single image of Iron Spider... I'd have enough cash to pay four months worth of rent!" Gabby tried to reach her camera which was in the edge of the building rooftop.
"Almost...there...i can... maybe get it..." Gabby was barely touching the camera when she accidentally knocked it over and it fell off the building top.
"No! No no no no no!" Gabby yells as she was able to see the the camera fall, she couldn't see when it landed but hearing by the crash she knew it was completely busted.
"Ugh! That was so expensive... I'll never be able to afford anything like it again..." Gabby Roxy looked disappointed.
She kept hearing an awesome battle happening between Poison and Iron Spider; she just couldn't see it.
"Maybe i should've just done the interview for the Smiling Hotel..." Gabby looked sleepy as she was waiting to be rescued like always.
"That sounds super copyrighted."
Gabby instantly opened her eyes and that's when she saw him...
A short, chubby floating pumpkin headed man with yellow and green stripes, white gloves, black shoes and a orange bowtie; one of his pupils was purple and another was a dark green.
"Woah, who are you?" Gabby asked.
"I am the guy that can do this!" He snapped his fingers and suddenly a camera instantly teleported infront of Gabby, it looked even better than the one she lost and it was just floating there.
"H-how are you doing that?!" Gabby asked.
"The same way i can just do this." The creature snapped his fingers again, the black webbing restraining Gabby suddenly became spaghetti noodles and she was freed.
"You freed me?" Gabby looked confused.
"Ya, the plot demanded it." He had a crooked smile.
"What? What are you talking about, what's your name?" Gabby asked.
"I'm The PumpKingKing; With Two Kings, I always hate it when people call me Pumpkin King, that sounds so stupid." Pumpkingking rolled his eyes.
"What are you doing here?!" Asked Gabby Roxy.
"I been sent from a far away land to fix plotholes and inconsistencies, you see we need to know you more and what better way to know someone than through me!" Pumpkingking smiled.
"What?! You're confusing me..." Gabby Roxy looked bewildered.
"Then I'm doing my job right." Pumpkingking grins as he levitated towards the edge of the building top.
Gabby stared at him for a few seconds and followed.
"See Gabby as a spirit of pure chaos it is my job to mess up and disort reality as you know it, that's why i can do this, and this and, thisssss!" Pumpkingking snapped his fingers everytime he said this.
First Gabbys notepad turned into water and dispersed, secondly gravity stopped working on the rooftop and Gabby began floating unable to fly and lastly the rooftop became a gigantic cucumber for a few seconds.
"Woah woah hey stop this!" Gabby was freaking out as she was slowly floating towards space.
Pumpkingking snapped his fingers once again and all three things returned to normal.
Gabby screamed as she was falling due to gravity being normal again.
"Whoop! Don't wanna get ya too hurt yet~" Pumpkingking grins as he was using his magic to levitate Gabby and keeping her from hitting the rooftop.
"I.. i can't fly!" Gabby panicked as the pumpkin headed man let go of her.
"Oh right forgot to return you that ability..." Pumpkingking looked bored and snapped his fingers again.
Suddenly Gabby felt strange, and tried flying, it worked.
"How... how do you have these powers?!" Gabby asked.
"I was literally build different." Pumpkingking smiled as he flew up to the night sky with her.
"I don't follow..." Gabby looked confused.
"That's boring lore stuff you probably don't really wanna know so don't worry your pretty little bird brain." Pumpkingking tapped her head.
"I-i love boring lore stuff! Your powers are impossible to recreate i mean flight, matter recreation, teleportation, gravity erasing?! Are you perhaps a super hero?" Asked Gabby.
Pumpkingking teleported next to her on her other side.
"A hero huh? You're quite funny Ms Gabriella Roxanne." The Pumpkingking was floating in a relaxed position.
"H-how do you know my name?" Asked Gabby.
"I know a lot of things, some of them you don't even wanna know." Pumpkingking had an uncannily large smile.
"But what if i do?" Gabby pleaded.
"Oh really, well first of all I'm not even from this dimension!-" Pumpkingking talks and teleports to her other side whispering. "-I'm not even supposed to be here..."
"Dimension? Is... is the multiverse real?" Gabby looked perplexed.
"As real as this dancing hot dog! Woah hot dawg look at him go!" Pumpkingking pulled a faceless hotdog with arms and legs out of the inside of his glove into his hand, the hotdog began dancing.
"This.. this is a lot to wrap my head around." Gabby Roxy looked kerfuffled.
"This better?" Pumpkingking grabbed Gabbys head and wrapped it around herself multple times.
"I didn't mean it literally." Gabby giggled at the crazy pumpkins absurd humor.
"Hehehe should've specified better, when you're in the presence of an entity that can warp space and time; figure of speech can become your new reality..." Pumpkingking grins and began eating the hotdog that was dancing.
"So... you really can do anything?" Asked Gabby.
"Yeh, wanna see me make cats and dogs rain?! or make pigs fly?" Pumpkingking asked grinning.
"Heck yeah!" Gabby cheered.
"Sure thing! You asked for it!" Pumpkingking snaps his fingers and then pigs all over the world grew wings and began flying into the sky escaping their farms.
Also a large storm appeared over BlackJack City and thousands of cats and dogs began raining down.
At first Altaria was amazing and in awe but suddenly when she realized the cats and dogs were all slamming against the solid walls, floors, rooftops and concrete, she realized they were all dying.
"Woah hey stop stop! I didn't think this would happen!" Gabby looked worried.
"You didn't think cats and dogs would rain when i said i could literally make cats and dogs rain?" Pumpkingking looked at her oddly.
"i-i well.. i thought it might happen but i didn't think this much death would happen, where are all these animals even coming from!?" Gabby looked horrified at all the animals dying.
"I don't really like to think about where i am pulling the items from, it's a rabbit hole nobody wants to slide down to." Pumpkingking shrugs as he floated in the air.
"Please just stop this rain... they're getting really hurt..." Gabby begged.
"Ugh fine whatever..." Pumpkingking snaps his fingers, the rain became less intense and slowly stopped.
Damage however was already done, the entire city was covered in gore of animals and the streets were almost completely painted red.
"Oh my gosh this is disgusting, i can't even look..." Gabby looked away.
"I mean, you did ask me to show you, so kinda your own fault not gonna lie." Pumpkingking denied all accountability.
"Please you gotta revive them! You have to save them!" Gabby begged.
"Doing that is a bit too much effort, there is a lot of them." Pumpkingking glanced at all the cats and dogs.
"At least just clean this place, the smell is gag enducing..." Gabby pleaded.
"That i can do!" Pumpkingking snaps his fingers and suddenly all the dead cats and dogs as well as the blood was all gone.
"W-where did they all go?" Asked Gabby.
"Don't know, don't care, that's how it always goes." Pumpkingking told her.
We cut away to a distant dimension where an green alien is going out to throw out his trash.
"Doo doo doo doo doo." Green Alien did his typical morning routine.
Out of nowhere a huge pile of deceased and some alive cats and dogs all teleported on top of him and squished him.
The green alien have a loud scream which was cut off and changed the scene back to Gabby Roxy and The Pumpkingking.
"So you cannot create items, you can only bring them from different dimensions?" Asked Gabby as she was writting on her notepad.
"Yeah sure..." Pumpkingking looked bored.
"But what are these other dimensions, how many varieties are there, wouldn't it be a paradox to have multiple realities coexist at the same timeline-" Gabby began writting rapidly, her pencil broke.
"Lady, you're yapping way too much." Pumpkingking boredly told her as he snaps his fingers and handed Gabby a new pencil.
"Yapping? what's that?" Asked Gabby.
"Oh right no slang, this is the 60s... ahem you're being a real chatterbox." Pumpkingking told her.
Gabby gasped. "How uncouth! Listen here Mr Pumpkin-" She looked mad.
"Pumpking." PKK replied nonchalantly.
"-I am a journalist! My whole job is to inform the public and research the unknown! You are the bridge of interdimensional travel, you know how important this is!?" Asked Gabby.
Pumpkingking just stared at her and gave a half assed shrug.
Gabby sighed in frustration.
"You are a creature that is from a different dimension! With powers that shouldn't exist on this or any other realm! Do you realize how important this is?" Gabby asked.
"Eh not really, it's not that cool unlike this guy!" Pumpkingking snaps his fingers and suddenly a dancing hotdog appeared on the shoulder of Gabby Roxy, she quickly swatted the hotdog away.
"Gosh darn it, it's not the time for dancing hot dogs PumpKingKing!" Gabby shouted.
"ROBERTO! NOOOOOOO!!!!" Pumpkingking screamed as the dancing hot dog fell in slow motion for a bit and then splattered on the floor.
"He was a good dog..." Pumpkingking shed a single tear.
"Um... sorry for killing your hotdog person, didn't realize it mattered to you that much..." Gabby frowned.
"I'm just fucking with you, i don't give a shit, i can just get more!" Pumpkingking snaps his fingers and the rooftop had a lot of dancing hotdogs.
Gabby looked around and then back at him.
"Where are you from." She asked.
"Sombil, next question." Pumpkingking dismissed her.
"Is that like a name i should know or-" asked Gabby.
"It's a different dimension plus like name of a place i guess..." Pumpkingking told her.
"I see..." Gabby pondered.
Suddenly a large metal ariados got to the top of the roof.
Pumpkingking without even snapping his fingers, just with his sheer thoughts made all the dancing hotdogs disappear before the hero could see it.
"Gabby! are you alright?" Iron Spider asked.
"Y-yes Poison kidnapped me but I'm free now, where is he?" Gabby asked.
"Trapped in this jar, you don't even wanna know how long it took to put him there..." Iron Spider had a ball covered in Spider webbing.
"Kinda sus." Pumpkingking smiled.
"Huh, who is this guy?" Asked Iron Spider.
"This is um.. this is well... the PumpKingKing..." Gabby spoke.
"Who?" Iron Spider asked.
"Offensive." Pumpkingking was suddenly wearing make up, long nails and lipstick for a single frame.
"Uhhhhh..." Iron Spider was confused.
"Yeah don't worry about it, he's like that..." Gabby told him.
"Yeah I'm like that." Pumpkingking looked like his typical self again.
"Alright well i gotta go, so um... see ya lady!" Iron Spider told her and swung away.
"I also should dip." Pumpkingking began saying.
"Wait huh?! Where are you going?!" Asked Gabby.
"i dont know, just mess arond an island likely, who knows oh wait i do bai!" Pumpkingking snaps his fingers and teleported away with a pop sound.
The Altaria was left by herself at the top of the building, she stared at the night sky and pondered to herself.
"Wait how the heck am i getting down, oh wait i can fly... duh..." Gabby facepalmed.
(Daily BudNews - The Next Day)
The elevator door opened and both Ledian and Altaria were walking in a very busy office.
"I'm telling you James, he was like a midget with a pumpkin head! It was crazy!?" Gabby was shaking a bit looking at him.
"Well that does sound pretty amazing Gabs..." the Ledian replied.
"I need to push this story to the boss, i know if i find a way to learn more of this unknown creature and harness his powers i could be the first pokemon to discover interdimensional travel!" Gabby looked excited.
"Are you sure this is a good idea... i mean i don't know of it's good to mess with this guy..." Ledian frowns.
"The fate of reality is at my wing tips James, i saw it with my own eyes, he created items from thin air and teleported around!" Gabby fixed her glasses.
"A lot of pokemon can teleported Gabby..." Ledian told her.
"He's not a pokemon okay! How many times do i have to say this! He's a being from a different reality from ours!" Gabby yelled.
The whole office went silent.
"Gabby Roxy, Jay wants you in his office immediately..." Said a Glameow.
"Y-yes Ms Brant..." Gabby said timidly and walked towards his office, Ledian frowned seeing her leave.
"So you didn't get any pictures of the freak and on top of that are yelling in the middle of my office." Jay Jonah Jellicent looked grumpy.
"Well yes sir, I'm so sorry I've failed ya but i got a story that i know will be the next big scoop!" Gabby smiled.
"Go on, what is this story that's supposed to be bigger than the spider delinquent." Jellicent crosssed his arms.
"There is this creature known as The PumpKingKing! He is a being from a different dimension that has the power of interdimensional travel and matter teleportation!" Gabby looked inspired.
Silence.
"Is this the part where I'm supposed to be in awe?" Jellicent asked.
"W-what?!" Gabby asked.
"Listen here Gabby, we sell papers to what the public wants to know, just like there are people who praise and adore this spider guy, there are others who are skeptical or distrust him, THAT is our target audience..." Jellicent kept telling Altaria.
Gabby just stared in disbelief.
"If we stop selling them what they want, they'll default to what they have, which is all the other papers telling the Iron Spider is a hero..." Jellicent said with spite at the word hero.
"That's where we come in, our market share is soley focused on reporting crime, the weather sometimes and Iron Spiders mischief! You are supposed to get me information on the spider not whatever this pumpkin guy is..." Jellicent rolled his eyes.
"Sir! This is way bigger than Iron Spider! He's a freaking alien entity from a different dimension!!!!" Gabby yells.
"Do you have any evidence of this creature?" Asked Jellicent unamused.
"Well... no, i-i was too shocked yesterday to get a picture i-" Gabby began saying.
"Listen Gabby, time flies fast, we need to update the news with what we have, we cannot wait for silly pumpkin creatures to appear and study them, we need to do what's affecting the public." Jellicent spoke.
"I've had reports of millions of pigs sprouting wings and flying away from farms, how does this not affect the public?! He is a potential ticking time bomb, a world ending catastrophy waiting to happen, a-a menace!!!" Gabby screams.
"Watch your tone Ms Gabby!" Jellicent yells.
"Don't you get it! You're playing with nearly omnipotent power, Iron Spider is old news compared to this guy! We need to divert all resources to finding him, capture him and study him ASAP!" Gabby shouts.
Silence.
"You're clearly having some sort of meltdown in my office, you need to calm down about this magical pumpkin guy." Jellicent ordered her.
"Of course I'm having a meltdown! I'm the only one that can see the bigger picture, how big of a story this would be for history if we managed to get him! To know everything about him!!!" Gabby was twitching a tiny bit.
Silence.
"There are other bigger mysteries at hand, like who even is Iron Spider?" Jellicent shrugged.
"FOR FUCK SAKE! IT'S OBVIOUS JAMES PARKER! WHY ELSE IS HE ALWAYS MISSING WHEN THERE IS A SUPERVILLAIN AND HOW DOES HE ALWAYS HAVE PERFECT HD PHOTOS OF IRON SPIDER IN HIS DAMN ROOM! HOW AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT FIGURED IT OUT MONTHS AGO!" Gabby Roxy screams.
Silence.
"You're clearly delusional; get out of my office, you're fired." Jay Jonah Jellicent told her.
"W-WHAT?!" Gabby looked furious.
"There's something very wrong with your head right now, take a week, month, year off, i don't care but you need some time to reflect and forget this pumpkin thing." Jellicent told her, despite looking mad he was genuinely worried for her declining mental health.
"His name is PumpKingKing! and you can't fire me, i quit! I'll research everything i can about PumpKingKing and once i gather enough data i will be rich enough to be hired by any news company! Daily BudNews will BEG to have me back with my data and scoop! You'll see!" Gabby yells as she began to walk away.
"I'm serious Gabby, you need to drop this... such thing as a pumpkin headed creature just doesn't exist, you sure it wasn't a Pumpkaboo or something?" Jellicent asked.
"IT'S NOT A POKEMON! IT'S SOME SORT OF DEMON! I KNOW IT! I KNOW THAT HE ISN'T FROM THIS PLACE! I-" Gabby was screaming.
"Somebody get her out of my office, now." Jellicent called for backup.
Security guards got Gabby and dragged her out of the office as she was screaming and cursing, everyone including Ledian just stared at her as she was taken into the elevator and the doors closed.
(8 months later)
In a dark crusty apparentment we see a bunch of very blurry images of presumably PumpKingKing all connected by red string like some sort of crazy conspiracy board.
"I know he's out there... i just know it..." Gabby was twitching a bit as she looked at all the images and many sticky notes she had stuck on her wall.
"I know he hosted Mews New Island... but where even is said island?!" Gabby asked as she had a video of Mews New Island playing on her TV, she recorded it and played the entire season over and over again.
"According to this book... he hosted many previous seasons as well..." Gabby was talking to herself, she had a book on her desk that was simply titled... Deadly All-Stars.
"So that means this is also PumpKingKing interesting..." Gabby was watching a video on her laptop, apparently it was an old cancelled show called Galar Games.
"I need to know more...i haven't seen him since that night in BlackJack City, i gotta know more..." Gabby was shedding a few tears as she was frustrated; she had reached a dead end in her research.
"Why won't anyone who competed in those shows discuss anything with me, why..." Gabby groaned frustrated as she had a few quick flashbacks to her trying to interview many MNI cast members.
"Gabby Roxy reporting for Daily BudNews! I heard you competed on Mew's Dramatic Action! Care to share sone details about your experience with the PumpKingKing?" Gabby asked.
"I don't care." Mawile looked bored and closed the door.
"Gabby Roxy coming in live to report about your experience on Kalos Khaos! Tell me was the host really a potential pumpkin headed man?!" Gabby asked someone else.
"What are you talking about lady, i haven't competed in Kalos Khaos in over 60 years..." An old Florges grandma told her.
"As you can see my resume is perfect and my skills in journalism could really benefit the way the interviews are held, so please hire me to become a Co-Co Host of this dear Aftermath Show!" Gabby looked a bit desperate.
"Look uh girly, Ninetails and i kinda have this good shitck going on already, it's iconic... no need to change what isn't broken ya know, now fuck off.." Suicunte told her.
"No! Please! You need me, i need to know more! L-like The PumpKingKing! I know he sometimes appears in your show right, please tell me more about him!" Gabby begs.
"Bruh not even i know what he is or where he comes from, to me he's just a weird fat magic guy that pays me to trash talk his eliminated contestants, now leave me alone, i have a show to host." Suicunte rolled her eyes.
"Please i need to learn more of him!" Gabby yells.
"Security get this bitch off my amphitheater!" Suicunte orders.
We cut back to the Altaria being all by herself in the dark apartment, only light was aimed at the conspiracy wall with red string, sticky notes and bad PumpKingKing pictures.
"I need more... i need to know more..." Gabby cried feeling hopeless; she saw the finale of MNA-SLWT, PumpKingKing was likely dead by Janitor.
The new rebooted seasons had no PumpKingKing in sight, it was over, no clue over the past month or so.
"Radio silent, no more MNI, no more PumpKingKing... i was so close... i need to know more of him..." Gabby cried to herself.
We see she had a lot of rent past due letters stacked on her table next to her DAS Book.
"Do you want to know more?" Said a very familiar goofy voice.
"YES! PUMPKINGKING IS THAT YOU?!" Gabby tried her best to stop crying as she fixed her glasses.
"What are you willing to sacrifice in order to know the truth Gabriella Roxanne?" asked the voice, this time sounding more sinister.
"Anything! I'm willing to do absolutely anything in order to see you again and be near you!" Gabby sounded obsessed.
"Then all you gotta do is say... I'm ready..." The voice said and went away.
A Golden Envelope teleported infront of Gabby Roxy, it was just floating there kinda like the camera was, she grabbed it opened it and read it rapidly.
She had an unhinged smile as she finished fixing herself up, looked more determined than ever to get the scoop information she has been craving; she stuffed a lot of pens and notepads inside her fluffy cloudy body and then said-
"-I'm Ready!" Gabby Roxy smiles.
Bop!
The Altaria was teleported to a beach, a lot of pokemon were around her, so she decided to introduce herself and make a good first impression.
"Gabby Roxy reporting for duty! Literally i work for the publishing company Daily BudNews and I'm always looking for the next big scoop!" She smiled as she noticed some players payed attention to her while others didn't care.
"This years story... the mysterious PumpKingKing and their otherworldly powers! I'm looking forward to documenting as much as possible for my story so I'll be taking lots of notes!" The Altaria smiled, she was wearing glasses.
Nobody thought much of her, she just flew towards her new team, The Brave Newbies.
She was ready to research absolutely everything she could about The PumpKingKing; so she was in no way at all planning on leaving this white void early anytime soon.
