Ending of Sonic Movie - (prompt)
Sonic and Amy walk casually down a trail, away from everything.
"Hey, Sonic?"
Side by side, Sonic looks over to her.
"Have you… ever thought about what will come next? Like, the future and…" she rolls her eyes up to him, before looking away. "Stuff?"
Sonic catches on to her meaning, but plays it off and looks up, placing his hands behind his head.
"Hmm.. Not really." he teases, but light enough that she can't pick up on it.
She frowns, before sighing and smiling, "Yeah, I guess it's like what you said." she shrugs. "Live everyday to it's fullest, you never know what the future will bring you, but it's sure to be exciting if you never regret the day you have!"
Sonic looks back to her, cocking a brow up and smiling cheekily to her.
"Did I say that?"
"Emhmm. Well, not quite as elegantly put, but-"
He slowly lowers his hand over her shoulder, having her look at it surprised, as he pulls her subtly closer, so his arm can fully drape on her shoulders.
"Sounds about right to me." he closes his eyes and grins, still teasing her, as her mouth turns to a squiggled frown and she blushes, so thrilled she can hardly respond.
"Emhmm."
He lightly chuckles at her sudden fidgety quietness, opening one eye to see the fun of her expression, before they walk off together.
