Couple: Sonamy (Sonic and Amy)
Summary: zeliez Could you make a kind of headcanons with Sonamy Boom? I read that you wanted them to end up together at the end of Sonic Boom but how you imagined this purpose between them two, so they end up in a real couple?
Author's Note: I do love the couple! But I don't really see a lot of cartoons ever 'getting together', however, I believe your asking for how I would do this in the Boom universe, if such things could happen on screen.
Here's my solution~
"Ugh, men!" Amy stormed off, seeing as her latest plans to find true love on a social website ended up horribly, as she was matched up with Dave…
"I quit!" she flopped down on a log in the middle of the jungle, her jacket hung to the side of her as she scrunched her hand up against her squishy cheek and sighed, looking utterly disappointed and truly wondering if her last statement would be true or not…
She seemed to think about that deeply, actually… looking at the ground, her eyes turned to concern, as her eyebrows narrowed in her speculation.
"What if this really is the end..?"
"Well, that was a lousy excuse for a match!"
Her eyelids shot open, and she slowly turned, before quickly flipping her head back and seeing Sonic trying to dash through the bushes, but having bees all around him.
"Alright, alright! I get it!" He dusted himself off after swatting the tiny critters away. "I won't spin dash off your trees…" He grumbled, and then fixed his hair and bandages on his hands. "No matter how wickedly cool it looked.."
Amy instinctively had a wide open grin on her face, before snapping back to reality, and groaning, turning around and falling on her side, back facing Sonic, whining through little noises of hopelessness. "And here I thought you were trying to be charming.."
Sonic turned to her, not sure what she meant.
"What? Bees are lousy runners! they might not float like a butterfly…" He put his hands to his butt, and rubbed slightly, wincing. "But they sure do sting. Ohh.."
She laughed, having slightly looked over her shoulder, and gave a scoff his way. "Serves you right. Dashing into their home… unannounced."
She twirled her finger on the log, before groaning again and flipping to her back. "What's with you guys, anyway!? I should just give up on all of you entirely. But then where would I be..?" She flung her arms up, continuing to complain as he looked over to her, not sure what was wrong.
"What? Dave the… Dashing … not good enough for ya?" he mocked her, getting some loose twigs with leafs off of him and in his quills. "I think you're right."
"You do?" Amy's head shot up.
"Yeah, you should give up all together."
"….UGH." she flopped back down. "No one understands me…" she whined out again, "I should just crawl in a hole… and live like Sticks." she puffed out, as if the thought was truly pathetic.
"Yeah… if only men were charming." Sonic then waltz over to her side, sitting down next to her, lifting a foot up and adjusting his shoe.
"Yeah…. and if only women were willing to put up with you." she teased him back, rolling her eyes up to him before getting up, and leaning into a slouch, hand back up under her chin. "It's hopeless."
"Yep… truly hopeless."
"There's no way I'm ever gonna get the kind of guy that I want."
"Truly hopeless…"
"Okay, for a pep-talk, you certainly are doing a lousy job of it."
Amy glared at him, before noticing he wasn't even paying attention to her.
He was busy pulling slimy and sticky honey off of his shoes, having it snap off after a long tug of stringy honey whiplashed him afterwords.
He blinked, having honey all over his face, with the leaves and twigs all slowly moving down his face with it.
She laughed.
"Well, at least I can find a guy who can make me laugh." she turned to look away.
The idea struck her then.
"I-I mean! Not that I was looking for that or anything!"
Sonic blinked, before looking over to her.
"…Ah… Really? The one time I actually make a blunt hint and you get it? It had to be… now?" she rolled her eyes, groaning as she moved away and down, before getting up. "I seriously was considering going a few more years alone and then you get it. Great. My moping's ruined." she got up, nervous, and pretended to take it lightly.
"…I've… Always thought it kinda nice…" he smiled, goofily with all the honey on his face.
"To find a girl I could make laugh."
Her body froze, having almost walked away after gotten up.
She turned to look at him, slowly, as if she didn't believe what he just said.
He just smiled, before taking his bandana and wiping his face.
"…I've already sworn off men." she turned away, hands behind her back, trying to test if he'd push it any further.
After all… he was a joker… this could very well be-
"And I've never considered women." he stretched his back, having really given no thought to romance EVER.
"But you don't hear me complaining!" he winked, and walked by her.
She knew it.
She sighed in almost relief, and walked a little behind him. "Well, then. I guess we've made up our minds! We're in agreement. No… nobody!" she motioned her hands out and crossed them away from each other.
After walking a little bit, Sonic grabbed her hand.
"Here's to never getting involved in that kind of mess!" he raised it up a bit.
She stared a moment at him, not sure what to make of it, before nervously nodded, "Y-ye-yeah. Never… b-bu-but it's not like I've ever actual been with a guy anyway, so… nothing ventured, nothing lost, right?"
"…Right."
"Right. I'm right! I'm always right."
…..the two walked in silence, as Amy noticed he never let go of her hand…
"..Good pep-talk." she looked away, down and blushing.
Sonic smiled, "Yeah, you know, maybe I should do these more often?" he nodded to the sky, and then gave her a haughty look as if he was the bees knees…
No pun intended.
