With Destiny 2 currently…being bad at the moment and nobody in the clan is on. I decided to go back to writing again with more inspiration than before. Saving for Kuku in January alongside the ORT raid. Your body ready NA Masters?
Finalfool: a classic trilogy that has a few ups and downs in it. But it was a fun game on the PS3 I have to admit.
Shen1412: Yeah, I didn't like the bastard for his twisted nature. So that happening to him for once was hilarious considering his myths.
Sevillabagus: Don't forget final bosses always have extra forms and phases to deal with. Hypes up the tension for the final battle. Yes she is saved, I liked her character when Memoria Freeze was still playable so I changed her fate.
LuckyTheReviewer: To each their own. Agree to disagree my friend. I don't want to go into a long reply to this review. BTW, Hakuno dying is pretty much a habit for them in original Extra, Last Encore, Body Hakuno in Extella, etc. Do they truly die when they are killed? P.S.-If you're spiteful enough, write a fic that goes against everything you hate about it and give an ending you approve of. Make your own canon.
Chaldea was in a panic; the collapse was beginning in this world and the Storm Border couldn't make it to the source in time to stop it. While Da Vinci, Goredolf, and Mash were having a panic attack or meltdown; Merlin, Holmes and Ritsuka were sitting nearby drinking tea and watching Hakuno's fight with Deus.
"Hmmm…For God taking up a new form, He might be serious. But He has an ego and arrogance that makes all known Servants look tame which means He'll take a massive defeat that'll echo through the ages." Holmes noted while Merlin nodded his head sagely.
"That will be true. Deus had lost a major degree of His power from what I heard and is trying to regain it through this world. But our boss-girl Hakuno is giving Him the what-for with her awesome power." Merlin quipped cheerfully while sipping his tea.
"Senpai is something, fighting alongside Servants is a bold, dangerous and outrageous stunt even I wouldn't dare pull off!" Ritsuka commented cheerfully.
"Oh?" Merlin raised a brow. "If you could fight on par with a Servant like she could, you would?"
"Hell yeah I would! Senpai is getting in on all the action and looks like she's having fun despite the dangers!" Ritsuka responded with a pout.
Mash looked at her senpai with an exasperated sigh when she overheard it. Only she would try something crazy if she could do it. Hanging out with the Celts is really bad for the Master's health.
Empire of Gomorrah*
"-With this I pledge to reform this fallen empire into one that had been corrupted by false prophets and deceitful, fake holy men." Adam announced in his speech to the residents of the Empire. He decided to reveal some uncomfortable truths to the faithful people, knowing with his clairvoyance the answer his people would give, especially since their God's corpse had been hijacked by an outside force.
The outrage went as foreseen, many soldiers were shocked and horrified at the realization that their 'righteous cause' had been set up by a conspiracy and the fact their God was dead the whole time and was now possessed by an evil being. Several had mental breakdowns, committed suicide, or even fell to their knees in prayer in desire for forgiveness. But some were stronger than that. Those ones realized that there was still a great evil afoot, threatening innocent lives still and they had a duty to stop that menace from causing more pain and suffering and had desecrated the remains of their Lord. They care not if they were ever forgiven for the atrocities, they took part in, but they absolute in their will to punish evil and redemption and prepared themselves accordingly. The Holy Witch is fighting the Usurper, Deus in the Heavens right now, and those false messengers of His are still out there to deceive the good people.
Asherah watched from afar with the Familas of Orario as Adam and felt the connection to her main body respond to something. Something terrible is about to happen. "Hesita, Freya." she spoke to her two friends as she got their undivided attention. "I'm going to send my consciousness back to my main body. Something is happening at the Dungeon and it's not good. Make haste to Orario." Asherah told them before her body went limp while Hestia and Freya caught their friend's sleeping body.
"Hakuno, Bell…you two better win!" Hestia prayed, realizing what was going on as she saw the lights descending towards Orario.
The Angel of the Abyss, Apollyon in Greek, Abaddon in another tongue, known as the Destroyer. A black smoke that took the form of a terrible swarm of locusts, hideous and deformed with a ravenous appetite to swallow the world and the world itself starting to lose all meaning in its existence. Its existence was the same as the final Calamity in the Britain Lostbelt, a hole in the world that would swallow all of creation, all of meaning into an never ending abyss from which there would be no waking from. Man, beast, God, all were equal prey to the Angel of the Abyss as it heeded Deus's will.
Speaking of Deus, He took on a demonic form now. His body that of a serpent, the main torso a demon, limbs of a locust, a head of a goat, wings of a dragon, the coiling head of a serpent (viper) as Famine and Death hovered with hostile intent, the Scales of Famine back to balance for the sake of fairness. Death blocked Kingprotea's diving kick with the flat of its scythe before repelling the giantess effortlessly.
In discussing God, there are some who believe the Devil to be the dark aspect of God as a sort of duality. Here, that belief was manifested in Deus in the most grotesque form. "I've had my share of encounters with many gods in Orario…" Hakuno noted with narrowed eyes. "But you're the most repulsive one, both outwards and inwards I've ever met."
"Do not forgo my merciful mood with your impertinence, Kishinami." Deus scowled while Death poised to strike. "For my trial to test your worth is still in effect."
"Hmph, my Praetor will overcome any trial you can throw at her." Nero scoffed, pointing her sword towards Deus. "She's faced far worse horrors than you!"
Thank you, Nero and your unfound confidence, or should I say arrogance?
Helel stretched his wings and hovered, his beautiful face looking at Deus with nothing but scorn. "Father, this is the very thing I rebelled for. You who drunk Yourself with power, became consumed by it and made poor decisions in life that doomed everything in eternal decay and ruin." power surged through his being while Deus glared at him. "While many versions of myself were wrong due to You knowing self-restraint, this version of You however knows nothing of restraint and became the dark-tainted tyrant I knew would come to be. Today, I shall absolve You of Your sins, so this world's inhabitants have a future with true free will."
"Insolent child," Deus began, now suddenly livid by that decree while blue flames danced around them in a circular formation as if to mimic an arena "The weight of YOUR blasphemy is too great to ignore. Eternal punishment is the only fate for YOU!"
Death swung itself, and Kingprotea raised her armored arm in front of Helel to block the attack. The scythe dug into the metal and was stuck. Which allowed the Alter Ego a new trick as she grabbed the sentient scythe by the shaft and wielded it in one hand and swung down, forcefully pinning Deus to the ground by the torso while the god spewed a few interesting choices of words that shall not be named.
"Saber, Noble Phantasm now!" Hakuno commanded while Nero grinned.
"Umu, my glory and splendor belong to you, Praetor!" The Servant beamed while tossing the air and cutting through reality itself as the Golden Theater manifested unto the world, the radiance partially dimmed due to Abaddon's manifestation. "Laus Saint Claudius!" a dash of crimson flames, another slash of heat before a surge of magical energy surged around Hakuno.
"Roadless Camelot!" Hakuno called upon the fury of Morgan le Fae, the legendary Noble Phantasm of her mother that was the building block of Lordless Camelot. It was less costly to cast, and it was no less effective against Deus.
Deus laugh despite the damage as the wounds healed, Him repelling Kingprotea with Death retracted from its master's body and hovering dutifully by His side
"This is a nuisance. His power isn't dwindling after shattering that fake guise of His." Gilgamesh noted with his own all-seeing eyes being blocked by Deus's dark power.
"Have faith Gil," Hakuno responded, with a knowing smirk signaling the habit of a bad situation they get stuck in suddenly swinging in their favor. "Knowing Bell's luck, I'm sure even a God can't function if certain parts are destroyed from within." As if on cue, Deus began to spasm.
"No…what are you doing boy!?" Deus cried out, flailing in complete pain as Abaddon began to shift violently from Deus's control.
"Praetor, what's happening? And what does the rabbit boy have to do with this?" Nero asked while Helel was starting to piece things together since he knew that Elohim was within Bell.
"He tried to absorb the part of Father within the boy, only to backfire with the rebellion inside Himself!"
"Stop! Don't!" Deus wailed. Whatever Bell was doing, it was working as the magical energy Deus had been dropping fast.
"Nero, Gil, I need energy. Retreat to the Throne World. Oh, and Gil, I need my key." Hakuno ordered as Gilgamesh realized the intent and what she was referring to. It was the bride price he paid for his marriage with Hakuno. A special key that was forged with Cypher techniques attuned only for this one incarnation of Hakuno only. Her own key to the Gates of Babylon and allowed her to use his treasures as her own. Some of her personal arsenal was stored there in case of a situation causing their immediate removal from the Queen. He smirked, recalling day one of her using it and the laughter that ensured. He was going to enjoy this very much.
"Have fun my Queen!" Gilgamesh laughed, tossing her a silver key-like sword that was similar to his own key Bab-liu.
"Praetor, I'll tell Lip and Melt to take over for us! Since they are independent, they won't take a toll on your reserves!" Nero shouted as she made her way into Hakuno's Throne World. Hakuno could only smile at her Empress of Roses. Always considerate of her no matter the situation. While Nero and Gilgamesh left, Hakuno activated the silver key, blue patterns in contrast to Bab-liu's own red filled the sky as the Golden Capital heeded the Queen's call. A great axe, fit for a titan appeared from the golden ripples before Protea and she looked at Hakuno questioningly.
"Use it on the curse. Its properties should keep it at bay long enough for Asherah to regain control of the Angel of the Abyss!" that was enough reason for the Alter Ego to grab it and begin striking the swarming menace as the locusts began falling from the purifying power of the axe.
"I will…Cut. You. Out!" Deus roared as He forcefully recovered Himself upright and a weird distortion only Hakuno could notice appeared on Deus's torso. Traces of the Deep, powers of the Winnower can be used on Deus, especially since the mad god is implying something bad is going to happen to Bell.
"Avenger, keep Deus occupied. Melt, Lip, keep Famine and Death busy!" Hakuno barked out before sheathing her katana and summoning the war lance. The cursed flames manifested and surging with life once more as cracks were apparent on it. It was good for one last charge and Hakuno thanked her sister Gareth-chan for the weapon's aid in this battle. She braced her feet and began one last attack with the weapon. "Lance ablaze…" she muttered, drawing upon the paracausal forces of the Deep and attune it to Deus while Meltlyrllis and Passionlip busted out of the Throne World and took on the two Horsemen and Jeanne Alter spewing profanities and flames at Deus. Their distractions bought Hakuno time she needed to get to Bell, her hardworking Vice-Captain that she was proud of facing such trials in this year alone. Now, she was going to reward him with a date after all this. The boy deserved it.
"Flaming Lance, forward!"
