"Tiana, look at this!" one of her friends said, sitting down for breakfast at the diner.
"That's an interesting necklace," Tiana said. "Definitely unusual."
"It's a lucky charm!" her friend explained.
"Is that so?"
"That's what the man who sold it to me said. I think he knew what he was talking about, too."
"There's a lot of people who will tell you anything to sell you something," she commented, trying not to frown.
Another friend came in.
"I saw you buying something from that man on the corner, can I see?"
They discussed the supposedly magical object. Tiana sighed.
