Sonic Prompt - Silvaze

Summary: Uhm… as for prompts… Sonamy is literally the only couple I can read about with full attention. XD -shrugs- Though if you wanna do a different thing for a change, I wouldn't mind a Silvaze. c:

As the fire swirled upon their desolated city they were forced to refer to as their 'home', Silver flew over the poor excuse of a 'shelter' they created with half burnt tarp, constantly being down poured with debris and flying embers, and the few pillows and intact walls that remained in it.

Flying to a low hover, he landed and walked in, as he then collapsed and fell on all the pillows.

Blaze came in shortly after, holding something in a handkerchief. "It was all the forest could muster…" she admitted, unfolding the napkin to reveal some berries and roots that could be eaten. Silver looked back, and sighed.

Blaze scolded his attitude as he nodded his apologizes and began to eat with her.

"…Have you… ever thought of what may lie beyond… this future." Silver asked, eating and savoring each berry he was given.

Blaze looked solemnly outside, after having looked to him and thought about his question. "What future? I'm afraid this may be the only future there will ever be."

"Don't say that." Silver looked a little more sternly at her, as she flinched to turn to face him.

He had such a serious look to his eyes. "We will find a better future! One with trees! And bushes of grapes as far as the eye can see! We'll have real blue skies, and gardens, and people we can call our friends!" He got up, and looked off into the distance, as if his eyes were seeing something other than ash blackened skies and crumbling buildings of fire. "They'll be schools, and houses full of happy families, and even-!" he stopped then, and seemed to look down, looking away and blushing, before sitting down again. "Just… a life." he admitted. "A life more than fighting."

She didn't understand why he hesitated, before seeing his face, and thinking of his last words.

Her eyes widened and she looked away, before smiling and closing her eyes, shaking her head at her little dreamer.

"…Heh… You're so naïve."
