Beach Party
The day began at the Beach, where the Crystal Gems were seen under attack on the beach, as Steven and Amethyst were screaming and thrown across the sand with Steven lying on his stomach on a boogie board, Amethyst sitting down while Garnet, Vergil, and Pearl land steadily on their feet, and Pearl was holding her Spear.
"You okay, Steven?" Pearl asked.
Steven looked up. "I've seen better days." Amethyst complained in a sad tone.
"Oh, walk it off!" Pearl scolded.
"Amethyst, in all fairness, I've seen you take worse." Vergil added.
"Doesn't mean it still doesn't hurt." Amethyst defended.
"Here it comes!" Garnet warned them.
A pufferfish monster rises about the ground. The upper half of the pufferfish monster's body is colored shamrock green, while the bottom half of her body is colored light pink. Its body is covered with spikes, with the spikes on the upper half of its body being more numerous and much longer than the spikes on the bottom half. It has diamond-shaped turquoise pupils with slanted mint-colored eyelids and dark grayish-green-colored lips.
It hovers above them and blows strong wind at the Crystal Gems.
"You all distract it!" Garnet instructed them before she leaped off.
"Wait! Don't go in alone!" Vergil leaps after her.
"Let's show this thing what we're made of, guys!" Pearl declared
"What do you think we've been doing for the past hour?" Amethyst asked sarcastically.
Pearl hurls her Spear at the pufferfish monster, but the pufferfish blows a powerful burst of wind that sends it back to them.
"Duck!" Pearl shouted as she ducked under the deflected Spear.
Unfortunately, Amethyst misinterprets Pearl's warning. "Man, I don't see any duc—" At the last second, she notices the Spear and ducks as the Spear chops some of her head. "Quack!"
"Steven's turn!" Steven smiled confidently as he threw the boogie board at it, but all that happened was that the boogie board got stuck to one of the pufferfish monster's spikes. "Yup, it's got spikes."
"It's okay." Amethyst rests her arm on Steven's shoulder. "Here comes Garnet!"
Garnet begins diving sky-high in the air with the sun behind her as she hurls towards the pufferfish monster.
Steven yells. "Smash that puff!"
Before she could strike, however, the pufferfish monster noticed Garnet and started blowing at her with a continuous gust of wind that consumed her whole body. Garnet tries to force her way through, but the wind is too strong. She is then blown away and sent flying and screaming toward Beach City, smashing into one of the buildings while the others just watch.
"Aw, man, we blew it!" Steven punned.
"Well, here comes Vergil." Amethyst noted.
"Wait, what?!" Pearl gasped.
After using his wings to get high overhead over the pufferfish monster, after getting there, he turned his wings back into his arms and brought out his Sword. Then, like Garnet, he began plummeting towards the pufferfish monster, only much faster, so the pufferfish monster didn't notice him as he held his Sword above his head.
"SKYFALL SLASH!"
Using his aerial technique, Vergil brought down his blade upon the top of the pufferfish monster's head. Surprising enough, though, his Sword only sank into the monster's skin, slicing through it as if the skin was made of a thick rubbery substance.
"Wha? I can't pierce it!" Vergil cursed.
Before long, the skin bounced back and blew Vergil back, knocking him off the pufferfish monster's body and downward onto the Beach near the others. He sat up as Pearl and Steven came up to him.
"Are you okay?" Pearl asked.
"Guess you couldn't cut it, huh?" Steven punned again.
"Would you stop?" Vergil complained to him.
Amethyst just groaned. "Ugh, whatever!"
Amethyst then decided to charge up to the pufferfish monster herself. Just before the monster could begin to blow at her, Amethyst jumps into the air and shapeshifts into a giant baseball bat, and whacks the monster, sending it flying far into the ocean. She then shapeshifts back to normal shortly after and lands on the Beach as the others approach her.
"Amethyst! Smacking it really far away doesn't solve anything!" Pearl shouted disapprovingly. "We needed to destroy it. Now it's just gonna come back later."
"Yeah, so we'll deal with it later." Amethyst reasoned with little care.
"But we still don't know how we'll deal with it." Vergil pointed out
"Let's get Garnet." Steven suggested. "She landed by the boardwalk."
Agreeing with that idea, the group starts walking to the boardwalk.
Meanwhile, at the boardwalk, Garnet is lying calmly and still on the wrecked sign of Fish Stew Pizza while Kiki and Kofi Pizza look up at her while she stoically ignores them.
Kofi has dark skin and brown eyes. He wears a pale sea-foam-colored work shirt with a white apron, brown shorts, white socks, and tan shoes and has his dark-brown hair put up in a hairnet.
"Would you ANSWER ME?!" Kofi angrily yelled at her. "You've wrecked my sign, and now you're just sitting up there! Are we engaged in a secret staring contest?!"
"Garnet!" Steven shouts as he arrives with Pearl, Vergil, and Amethyst. "Are you okay?"
Seeing them urges Garnet to finally respond as she jumps off the building. "I'm fine."
"Hi, Kiki." Vergil greeted her.
"Hi, Vergil, hi, Steven." Kiki greeted them back.
Amethyst looks up and laughs at the damaged building, especially the sign. "This place is wrecked! Gimme one down low!"
Amethyst puts her hand up for a high-five, but Pearl shoves it down. "No accolades for you, Amethyst!" She then turns to Garnet. "She knocked the pufferfish back out into the ocean!"
"Narc!" Amethyst dissed.
"Let's regroup back at the temple."
Garnet gave the final verdict as the Gems leaped away, leaving Steven and Vergil behind.
"Where are you going? What about my sign?" Kofi asked before angrily turning to Steven. "Steven! What is wrong with your friends? One of them busted up my sign, then they all just jumped into the sky like some circus act without even offering to help!"
"But, Mr. Pizza—" Steven attempted to explain.
At that point, Jenny exits the restaurant and leans against the door. "Da-ad, pipe down!"
"Ohhh! Did I interrupt your beauty sleep?" Kofi sarcastically asked.
Jenny yawns and smiles. "I don't need sleep to look pretty." She replied with sass.
"She's right. She always looks good." Vergil agreed.
Jenny accepted the praise. "Thanks, I know."
"Don't encourage her." Kofi told him before turning back to Jenny. "And you listen here, young woman—"
This time, Nanefua appears at the doorway of the restaurant holding a dead fish.
Nanefua is a short elderly woman with brown skin and wafer-gray hair done up in a large bun. She wears an Acapulco-green sweater, cashmere-colored shorts, pink flip-flop sandals with white socks on, and a thin, light pink scarf around her neck. She also wears large, round black glasses and the company's apron.
"Kofi, you are going to wake this fish from the dead with all the noise you're keeping. Oh, too late." Nanefua then talks in a quieter voice while flailing around the fish. "Kofi, you are so loud! Aaaahh!" Finally, she sticks her tongue out. "Bleeeeeh."
Jenny looked amused. "Gunga, you're so funny."
"Mooom! Quit joking around! Look what they did to my sign!" Kofi pointed out.
Nanefua exits the building and looks at the sign with wide eyes. "Cheese on bread."
"Can you believe it?" Kofi looks back at Steven and Vergil. "You two are such nice boys. Why do you hang out with those animals?"
"Hey, those animals raised us since we were kids." Vergil defended.
"Yeah! And they're the Crystal Gems!" Steven added on. "They protect humanity—"
Kofi cut him off with a shout. "I'VE HEARD ENOUGH!"
With that, everyone stopped as Nanefua glanced nervously at Kofi and Steven before making up an excuse to leave. "…Hey, girls, I think I hear all of our cellphones ringing."
Jenny plays along with the excuse. "Gunga, your hearing is so good!" The three girls walk back into the shop.
"Steven, Vergil, you can tell your friends that they are officially BANNED from Fish Stew Pizza!" Kofi declared.
"Wait, what?!" Steven gasped. "Kofi, that's not fair!" He objected as Kofi stomped back into the restaurant and closed the door on him. "This was just an accident!" Instead of responding, he flips the "Closed" sign at the door.
Steven then slumps in despair as Vergil patted him on the back. "Come on, let's head back."
"Okaaaay." Steven replied, still upset.
They made their way back to the Beach House.
Later, inside the Beach House, The Crystal Gems are all gathered around the kitchen counter discussing things as the two Half-Gems return.
"Why don't we just, like, let it roam free?" Amethyst suggested.
Garnet shook her head. "That's not an option."
Amethyst looks at Steven and Vergil approaching. "Hey, you guys!"
Steven still despaired as he addressed them. "I've got bad news, everyone. You've all been banned from Fish Stew Pizza."
They all just paused, not really seeing an issue with that, as Pearl responded. "…Oh, uhhh, that's okay."
Steven looked surprised by their lack of response while Vergil nudged his shoulder. "I told you they wouldn't care."
Amethyst shrugged. "That pizza wasn't even good."
"Okay now, "that" that was uncalled for." Vergil said disapprovingly.
"Aren't you guys upset about this?" Steven asked them.
"Not at all?" Garnet immediately answered.
"But these are our neighbors!" Steven reasoned.
"There's nothing we can do about that now." Garnet told him.
"Wrong, there is. It's just that you guys never bother to try it." Vergil bluntly told her.
"Right now, we have to figure out a way to take care of that pufferfish." Pearl reminded them.
"Even though you have no idea where it is or when it'll come back?" Vergil pointed out. "It's not right to just leave these things to the side.
Steven nodded. "He's right. What's the point of saving people if they're just gonna ban you from their pizza shops?"
Vergil looked at him with half-lidded eyes. "Not exactly the point."
"We don't do it for thanks." Garnet answered.
"Yeah, see!" Steven nods while holding out his arms. "That's so nice of you. The Pizzas don't even know! If they got to spend some time with you, they'd see how fun." He looked at Amethyst. "And smart." Then Pearl. "And mysterious you are!" And finally, Garnet.
Garnet chuckles a bit. "Hah, mysterious."
"Well, you're not wrong, but how do you plan on that when Kofi is probably still pretty steamed at them?" Vergil asked.
"Hmm…" Steven ponders for a while before coming up with something. "I know! I'll throw a little party on the beach in front of the temple! Just us and the Pizzas."
"I don't know, Steven. I mean—" Before Amethyst could finish, Steven cut her off.
"Don't worry! I'll take care of everything!" Steven promised before he ran off.
"Guess we're doing this now." Vergil followed him.
After a while, things move outside the Crystal Temple as Steven is on the Beach wearing a red tank top and jean shorts. Steven has a table and chairs set on the Beach. He is also cooking hot dogs and hamburgers on a barbecue grill.
"Man, this is gonna be so good." Steven sniffs the food and giggles.
"Don't get to close the grill." Vergil informed him as he placed a bag of buns on the table. He was dressed the same as usual, only without his coat.
"Yeah, I know." Steven flipped one of the burger patties.
"Hey, Steven." Amethyst said.
The Gems appeared on the Beach, and the three of them were standing together.
"Hey!" Steven went over to them.
"Got everything ready for your little party?" Pearl asked.
"Yeah, and there's one more thing." Steven then hands the Gems a magazine called "Foine Summer Special," and Garnet grabs it.
"What's this for?" Amethyst asked.
"I was thinking you guys could change your outfits."
Pearl looked confused. "What's wrong with what we have on now?"
"Nothing. I just thought it would be nice to go kinda casual." Steven reasoned.
Vergil came over to join them. "The guests are arriving."
Just as he said, The Pizza family begins to arrive around the cliff.
"Is this the right address?" Nanefua wondered.
"I've never seen this side of the beach before." Jenny noticed.
"Oh man, they're here! Hurry up and change." Steven urged the Gems, and he then looked at Vergil. "Why haven't you changed?"
"Why would I do that?" Vergil raised a brow.
"Because this is a Beach Party!" Steven answered hastily. "Why aren't you wearing Beachwear or sandals, at least?"
"Steven, Beachwear for me is just not wearing my coat." Vergil told him with little to no care. "Besides, you expect me to wear skinny jeans with sandals. Wearing jeans and sandals together just makes you look like a dork."
"I wear jeans with sandals." Steven reminded him.
Vergil crossed his arms. "I rest my case."
Steven sighed. Never mind. Over here, everyone!" He and Vergil then go over to the Pizza family. "Hi!"
"Glad you could make it." Vergil added.
[Hey, guys!] Jenny & Kiki greeted them
Nanefua also greeted them. "Hello."
Kofi stayed silent.
"How are you all doing today?" Steven casually asked them.
"The shop is closed today because it's broken!" Kofi bitterly answers.
"Hey, that's great!" Vergil brushed him off. "Now, come over and have a seat. The food's already cooking."
Nanefua started sniffing. "Hey! Do I smell hot dogs? Show me where the hot dogs are."
"Haha, in a second, first of all, though." Vergil then looked at Steven.
"Oh right, this way, everyone." Steven leads them toward the Gems. "First, let me introduce—"
"We Are the Crystal Gems!" Garnet declared as they each stood there with their hands on their hips. The Gems lit up and turned their appearances and outfits into casual beachwear as they introduced themselves. "Garnet!"
Amethyst was next. "Amethyst!"
Lastly, Pearl. "Pearl!"
Steven pops in with his arm around Vergil. "And Steven and Vergil! But you already knew our names…"
Nanefua looked impressed. "Oh, you're all so talented."
Kofi just narrowed his eyes. "So, you are a circus act."
"Circus act?" Pearl repeated, not getting it.
"You kinda had to be there to get it." Vergil said.
Steven barges in. "Hey, let's eat!"
The Crystal Gems and the Pizza family begin eating around the party table. They were all sitting in a circle and enjoying the hamburgers and hot dogs, though, among the Gems, only Amethyst was actually eating.
"Everything came out great!" Kiki noted.
"Thanks, Kiki." Steven said.
Nanefua noticed Garnet and Pearl weren't eating. "Aren't you girls hungry? You've barely touched your food."
"We don't need to eat." Garnet told her.
Nanefua misunderstood and smiled. "Oh, you young people and your experimental diets."
"I am much older than you." Garnet replied.
"Not right now, you aren't. Now quit arguing." Vergil told her.
"So, you all live in that tiny house up on that hill?" Kofi asked.
Garnet waves her hand as it sparkles in the air. "We inhabit the inner sanctums, only accessible through magical extra-dimensional doors." She explained spiritually.
"What is wrong with your hand?" Kofi noticed her Gem.
"And why does this place look like it's falling apart?" Jenny added.
"Well, the temple has been here for thousands of years—" Pearl started to explain.
At that point, Kofi cut her off. "Oh! I see how it is. When something breaks around here, you just leave it alone… JUST LIKE THE SIGN AT MY SHOP!
Vergil groaned. "Man, ever since you got here, all you've been talking about is the shop. Don't you have anything else you want to talk about?"
Steven barges in again. "Who wants to play volleyball?"
Steven draws the outline of the volleyball court on the sand with a stick around a volleyball net. Next to the net is a tall lifeguard chair. "Okay, everyone, the court is all set. Now to get into our teams."
"But, Steven, won't our abilities give us an unfair advantage?" Pearl pointed out.
"That's why I'm picking the teams." Steven declared before announcing the teams. "Amethyst and Jenny! Pearl and Kiki! Garnet and Kofi! And last but not least, yours truly and Nanefua!"
"And I'm the referee!" Vergil stepped onto the chair. "That means I sit up here, and if anyone breaks the rules, I'll blow my… Whistle!" He held up a whistle.
"I haven't played in ages, but I bet I could whoop all your butts." Nanefua claimed excitedly.
"That's the spirit. You guys ready?" Steven asked them as he held up the volleyball. "Let's play!"
Steven throws the volleyball into the air, and the first match begins. Amethyst gets the first serve.
"Oh-ho! Hope you're ready to lose, Pearl!" Amethyst goaded.
"There is no way I'd lose to someone like you!" Pearl shot back.
"Here we come!" Amethyst serves the ball.
Kiki receives the ball and sends it up.
"Nice one, Kiki!" Pearl said as she set the ball up.
"Aaand… Pow!"
Kiki jumps and spicks the ball down and over the net. Amethyst and Jenny try to receive it but miss it as it hits the sand.
"Amethyst! No kicking!" Steven informed her.
"What kind of game is this?" Amethyst complained.
"Hmm, good point." Vergil then stood up. "New rule: kicking is allowed as long as it's defensive."
"Aw yeah." Amethyst cheered.
"Nicely done, Kiki!" Pearl and Kiki high-five.
"Try and stick to the rules, Amethyst!" Steven advised from the sidelines.
"Try harder, Jenny!" Nanefua cheered from the sidelines.
"Here it comes!" Kiki serves the ball.
This time, Jenny pulls back the net and uses it to deflect the ball into the air.
"Come on, Jenny!" Kiki complained.
Jenny let go of the net and smiled. "What? I'm not doing anything."
"Well, touching the net isn't allowed, but it was creative, so I'll allow it." Vergil decided.
"Vergil, you can't just pick and choose whatever rules you like!" Steven reminded him.
"Yes, I can, Steven!" Vergil argued. "After all, I've got the whistle!"
"My move!" Amethyst shapeshifted into a large tennis racket and smacked the ball down, hitting the sand before they could stop it.
"Aw, yes!" Jenny cheered.
"That was uncalled for, Amethyst!" Pearl said disapprovingly.
"Well, technically, there are no rules against shapeshifting, so it's allowed." Vergil decided as Amethyst turned back to normal and landed.
"You afraid of getting a little sand in your hair, Kiki?" Jenny taunted.
"No, just trying to keep tidy." Kiki argued while wiping sand off her arm.
"There's nothing wrong with trying to keep tidy." Pearl agreed with her.
Nanefua looked on with enjoyment. "So exciting!"
"Yeah!" Steven agreed.
This time, it was Kofi and Garnet going against Amethyst and Jenny.
Kofi picked up the ball. "Our turn."
"I'm ready." Garnet said.
Kofi served the ball as Jenny got into position to receive it. "I got this one."
Before she could, Kofi shouted out. "Jennifer! You touch that ball. You're grounded!"
"Whoa!" Jenny dodges the ball. "Daddy, you cheatin'!" She snapped.
Kofi laughed. "HA-HA-HA! The look on your face! Hahaha—"
However, he was interrupted as Vergil blew his whistle. "Foul."
"What? How is that a foul?" Kofi objected.
"Well, not only is it annoying, but according to the rulebook, talking loudly to purposely interrupt another player's move is unsportingly-behavior." Vergil explained.
Kofi grits his teeth at that. "Oh, that darn rulebook, there should be a rule against it."
"It's fine. I still got this." Garnet told him, unfazed.
"It'd be nice if they stuck to the basics." Nanefua noted.
"Take this, Garnet! Yeeeee-ha!" Amethyst hits the ball with so much force that it shoots high up in the air.
Garnet jumps up into the air and sails above the ball. "Haaaghh! Ah!" She then spicks the ball hard downwards.
The ball comes charging at a speed so great that the ball catches on fire and falls toward Amethyst and Jenny like a meteor.
"We should probably move, huh?" Jenny asked nonchalantly.
"Yeah… We should." Amethyst agreed, aloof.
Both Amethyst and Jenny move away from the volleyball court just as the ball hits the sand like a meteor, forming a collection of glass shards on the sand upon its impact. Kofi laughed some more. "Hahaha! You're all running like wild chickens! Hahahaha!"
Amethyst & Jenny sat up and looked at the glass formation in amazement. [Woaaaaah!]
"Did you know that when sand is superheated, it turns into glass?" Nanefua informs Steven.
"I did not know that." Steven admitted.
"Now, that was impressive." Vergil commented.
Amethyst gets up, grabs the glass formation, and tosses it into the ocean in rage. "Let's play!"
As time passes by, The Gems and the Pizzas continue playing volleyball with each other. The teams keep switching as the games keep getting more complicated. Amethyst kicks the ball. Pearl proceeds to summon five Holo-Pearls and runs around Kiki with the Holo-Pearls. They keep spiking and scoring until, eventually, an argument breaks out between the Gems and the Pizzas—All except Steven and Nanefua.
"This is getting out of hand." Nanefua noted.
Vergil walked over to them. "And there's nothing I can do. They kept ignoring the whistle."
Steven sighed. "I'll run and get the ball." He goes after the volleyball, and out of nowhere, a strong gust of wind starts to blow. "Hey, why is it getting so…" The wind got even stronger as sand and food started getting blown away. "WINDY!?" Steven then sees the pufferfish monster suddenly appear around the cliff corner and runs in a panic. "Ah, no! It's back! Pufferfish monster's back!"
Nanefua turns when she hears the screaming. "What's all the—"
"Nanefua! Ruuuunnn!" Steven warned her as he ran.
"Sweet toil in the soil!" Vergil jumped in shock when he saw the sudden appearance of the pufferfish monster.
Meanwhile, the Gems and the Pizzas are still arguing, oblivious to the strong wind blowing.
"We should win 'cause we're the best." Amethyst proclaimed.
"Y'all cheated!" Kiki accused them.
"You are lying." Garnet argued.
"Cheaters!" Pearl accused.
"Everyone is grounded here!" Kofi snapped.
"GARRNEEEET!" Steven screams as he and Nanefua run away.
That finally got Garnet's attention. "Steven!" She sees the pufferfish monster and realizes the situation. "Oh, no! Gems! Protect the Pizzas!" The Gems each grab one of the Pizzas and leap away to safety.
"Hey!?" Kofi yelled as Garnet lifted him. "What is going on!?"
Behind the pufferfish monster, Vergil summoned dual-Swords this time and got ready to attack.
"Hey, fish! Say goodnight, you trout!" Vergil leaped forward and hit the pufferfish monster with both sides on the same side. While he still couldn't cut through it, he was able to knock it back a bit.
Over to the side, Steven and Nanefua watched safely behind some large rocks.
"That was pretty good." Nanefua said while watching.
Steven looked down. "This is terrible. I was trying to get everyone together, but now everyone's in danger."
"I'm not afraid of that thing!" Nanefua smiled confidently as she headed toward the pufferfish monster. "We have to help! Let's see if you can keep up with me!
Steven followed her. "Of course I can!"
They both run towards the pufferfish monster while it is blowing a strong gust of wind at Vergil while the Gems are also hiding behind large rocks to protect the Pizzas
Nanefua runs around the monster while waving her hands. "Oh! Oh! Over here!"
Stevens does the same. "No! Over here! Come on!"
Now, Nanefua and Steven start running in circles around the monster and distracting it.
Pearl stood up and gasped with concern. "Oh my gosh! Steven!"
"What are they doing?" Kiki wondered.
"Why are you two doing that?" Vergil asked while gaining distance.
"Trust us!" Steven assured him as they kept running. "Just get ready!"
"Mom, you are crazy!" Kofi shouted.
"Not crazy…" Garnet argued. "Brave."
"Gunga! Careful with your back!" Jenny reminded her.
"Amethyst! Turn yourself into a ball!" Steven instructed her.
"Okay!" Amethyst complied and shapeshifted into a large ball.
"Jenny! Roll Amethyst to the net and then hold on!" Nanefua directed her.
"Sure thing!" Jenny did so and rolled Amethyst towards the volleyball net.
This time, Nanefua directed Pearl. "Pearl! Head over to Jenny and Amethyst!"
"Yes, ma'am!" Pearl gladly followed her directions and jumped into the air and over to the volleyball court.
"Hit Amethyst into the air as hard as you can!" Nanefua instructed her.
Pearl smiles and cracks her knuckles. "With pleasure." She then picked up the ball Amethyst, tossed Amethyst into the air, and whacked her high into the sky as hard as she could. "Hu-uh!"
"Kofi! Kiki! Get over to the net!" Nanefua instructed them next.
As they run over to the next, Steven instructs Garnet. "Garnet, spike the beach!"
"I understand!" Garnet responds as she summons her gauntlets and leaps into the air.
Now, Steven instructs Vergil. "Vergil, give them altitude!"
"I'm on it!" Vergil replied as he summonsed his wings and flew upwards.
In the sky above the beach, the ball Amethyst gets caught by Garnet. "Be gentle."
"I'll try!" Garnet told her.
Vergil arrives near them. "Garnet, grab my leg!"
Garnet holds onto Vergil's leg as he flaps his wings harder to reach greater heights. Before long, Garnet stops him. "This should be enough!
Garnet then smacks Amethyst hard. Amethyst grunts as she plunges towards the ground like a meteor, gradually setting aflame. She then makes an impact on the sand, creating a huge, spiky formation of glass even greater than the last one.
Nanefua and Steven then stopped running in circles and ran away. "Here comes the tricky part!"
"I'm ready!" Steven proclaimed.
Steven and Nanafua run toward the volleyball court, and the pufferfish monster gives chase.
"Everyone, take the net to the other side of the court!" Nanefua instructed them.
The Gems and the Pizzas then picked up the volleyball net and moved it to the end of the court as the pufferfish monster gave chase. As the net hit it, they all pushed it forward.
"Okay, everyone, pull the net into its face!" Steven urged them.
Everyone struggled to push against the wind and shove the monster into the glass spikes with the net in an attempt to use the glass spikes to pop it.
"It's not enough!" Nanefua shouted.
"Don't worry, here comes Garnet and Vergil!" Steven pointed to the sky.
"Throw me!" Vergil requested of her.
Garnet held the Half-Gem in one hand and threw him as hard as she could toward the pufferfish monster. "Do it!"
Vergil dives from the sky towards the monster at an intense speed, and this time, he summons a long Sword with a black blade with a very sharp tip.
"This will end it!" Vergil roared.
His Sword reached the pufferfish monster and pushed it into the glass spikes. With the blade of his weapon piercing it from the front and the spike from the glass piercing it from behind, the pufferfish monster exploded into a cloud of sand and then enveloped Everyone.
A period of time passed as the Pizzas stood together in a group.
"Thanks for your hospitality." Kofi said.
Nanefua lightly jabs Kofi in the stomach. "And?"
Kofi continues with a smile. "And, for saving my family, you are all officially un-banned from my shop."
Steven became very pleased with this news. "Aw, thank you so much, Kofi! We really appreciate it, right, guys?"
Garnet barely reacted. "Okay, yes, thanks."
Steven expects more. "Aaaand?"
Pearl whispers to Garnet. "What were we banned from again?"
Steven laughs nervously as Vergil says.
"Well, a fun day was had by all." He said as the star iris zoomed in on his face. He ends it by saying. "Now, let's never do this again."
And that's the chapter.
This chapter was more of a fun, not much going on kinda chapter. I could have skipped it, but I wanted to put it in the story because I always found some parts of this episode really funny and couldn't resist writing it up. Plus, this episode was kinda needed to introduce Nanefua.
Anyway, thanks for reading. Hope you enjoyed. If you want more, then be sure to leave a review; if you like the story, click follow or favorite, and as always, have an awesome day.
