Mistakes
4 days to go...
6:00am, Evan didn't have to deal with his nightmares for the first time in a long time. Fredbear had kept his promise and saved him from his nightmares. Evan woke up happier than ever and sat in his room, it was time for breakfast, but he didn't go to the kitchen for breakfast. Because he hadn't eaten breakfast with his family since he was almost three years old. After Elizabeth was born, his parents didn't take care of him and started bringing all his meals to his room, and after a while Evan stopped going to the kitchen for breakfast.
Evan was buried in his book, enjoying the story he was reading, when his father put down the tray and walked straight out of the room. Evan closed the book and took the tray. He started to eat slowly and calmly, he didn't mind that his parents were no longer interested in him, but his heart was always heavy... why were they doing this to him, had he made them angry. He didn't even know what he was doing, it had all started some time after Elizabeth was born. When he told his parents about his nightmares, they told him that they were just dreams, but instead of helping him overcome them, they shunned Evan and spent time with his little sister Elizabeth.
After Evan finished his breakfast, he left the tray in the kitchen and started to walk to his room when his older brother jumped out from behind the couch wearing a Foxy mask and let out a loud scream, startling Evan. The little boy started shaking uncontrollably and crying again, looking at Michael with hatred.
Evan: Michael 'sob' 'sob' why do you keep doing this 'sob' over and over again. Why do you enjoy scaring me so much, what kind of person are you, scaring and bullying your own brother, you are a terrible brother.
Michael didn't expect Evan to say those words to him and he froze for a while but then he said 'tch' and left Evan there alone, still shaking uncontrollably Evan wiped his tears and slowly sat up, trying to control himself, his feet were like gel and he couldn't move them. Evan began to harbor a grudge against his brother and it was growing... The day quickly turned into evening and it was time for Evan and of course his brothers to go to bed. Evan went to bed hesitantly, his fear evaporating as he remembered Fredbear's reassuring words.
'Good night, Fredbear, thank you for helping me with my nightmares,' Evan said and turned off the night light, falling fast asleep.
'Good night Evan and have a nightmare free night. Tomorrow will be another day." said Fredbear but Evan didn't hear him as he was already asleep, the stuffed bear looked happily at the sleeping boy, its silver glowing eyes turned back to blue, showing that it was now a lifeless stuffed bear.
3 days to go...
Not a day went by without Evan being bullied or intimidated by his older brother. Today, he was locked in the Parts & Service room of the entertainment center that his father and Henry Emily co-owned. He had been in the room with endo skeletons and animatronic costumes for almost an hour, which was not good for someone like Evan who was traumatized by animatronics, no matter how much he screamed for help, no one could hear him. Because the Parts & Service room was at the very end of the venue in the middle of nowhere. Fortunately, his stuffed bear was with him as usual, which gave him a bit of reassurance.
Fredbear opened his eyes to find himself and Evan in the Parts & Service room, trying to figure out what was going on when he heard the plush bear boy sobbing. Michael had bullied his brother again, but this time he had gone too far and left him side by side with his worst fear. The boy was in the same room with his animatronic parts, arms crossed and sobbing.
'Evan, pull yourself together, these piles of junk can't do anything to you,' the plush bear reassured him. The boy must have felt a little relieved because he turned towards the plush bear and greeted it with a happy glint in his eyes.
Slightly freed from his fear, Evan looked around, careful to avoid the animatronic parts, but a few sketches on the table caught his eye. These were sketches of the Fredbear and Springbonnie costumes, showing every detail of the costumes, including the spring locks. A warning about the spring locks caught Evan's eye, written in red pencil: the spring locks must never come into contact with water or moisture, or they would rust and close at unwanted times, and if a person was inside, they could injure or kill them very badly, and another warning was that the spring locks were very prone to rust and should be replaced with a new spring lock system at least once a year.
Evan was so engrossed in reading the blueprints that he read them one by one and memorized the information in them, forgetting how long he had been locked in the room and engrossed in his favorite thing, reading. When he heard his name being called from outside he ran to the door and tried to hear who or what was calling his name, he heard 2 voices calling his name, they both sounded like girls and he knew them both quite well because they belonged to the 2 friends he had made all this time: Charlotte Marionette Emily and Cassidy Eleanor Brooks. Evan called out loudly that he was here, hoping they would hear him, and two pairs of footsteps started running towards where he was.
A voice asked him, 'Evan, are you there? Evan answered in the affirmative and they opened the door for him, he breathed a sigh of relief and looked at his friends happily and thanked them for letting him out of the locked room.
Cassidy shouted 'Evan what are you doing here we have been looking for you for hours!' Evan covered his ears because of the loud noise but Cassidy was not going to shut up, every second her voice went up an octave. Evan used his hands to cover her mouth and she fell silent. He turned to Charlotte, who was watching the whole thing from the sidelines with a worried face.
Evan thanked them again and then calmly explained to both girls what had happened, their concern turned to surprise as they realized that Evan had calmly walked out of a room full of animatronic parts.
Charlotte and Cassidy were the only friends Evan had in his life, the only two who listened to him when he told them about his nightmares without laughing and making fun of him. His life was so miserable that after meeting them, he felt like a weight had been lifted. He had met Cassidy 2 years ago in this restaurant and the first time they met Cassidy was beating up a man who called her a tomboy. Noticing Evan looking at her, Cassidy quickly turned towards him, but the anger drained from her face when she saw the boy just watching her.
Evan, ignoring the fact that she was beating the shit out of a guy, said, "Oh hello, this is the first time I've seen you here.
Cassidy said hello back and told him that it was her first time here, but a bully who knew her from school had made fun of her as a tomboy. Evan laughed a lot at Cassidy's behavior and from then on they became best friends.
Cassidy was aggressive but nice, she went to the same school as him and she heard from the teachers that she was quite smart, but she was always getting scolded by the teachers because she was always fighting with the bullies who made fun of her.
Charlotte was the one and only daughter of her father's business partner, Henry Emily, whom she had known almost since she was a child. Charlotte, or Charlie as people called her, was very calm and smart and of course Henry Emily was a very good father, even though he was not his son, he treated Evan as his own child and took care of him.
'Evan, what are you doing here, this is no place for children to be,' someone said.
Evan instantly realized who it was, it was none other than William Afton, his uncaring father, pretending to be a good father and pretending to be looking for him. But Evan was sure that his father had known all along that he was in the Parts & Service room because he remembered that his father had last been in the camera room and it was impossible for him not to see Evan on the cameras.
'Dad! Michael locked me in the Parts & Service room and I've been trapped in there for almost 2 hours!" the boy cried, but he knew his father would be proud of him, let alone yell at his brother for it. Evan just played the role of a cry baby and waited impatiently for his father to leave.
All the while Fredbear stood in Evan's arms, watching the whole thing silently, wondering what a bad father William was, or if he was just being mean to Evan. He was thinking what good friends Cassidy and Charlotte were to Evan. Fredbear couldn't help thinking that he hoped these three would stay good friends forever.
'Tomorrow will be another day,' said the Fredbear plushie and turned back into his blue-eyed self without anyone noticing.
