Summary: zeliez Can you do another headcanon on sonamy boom with a jealous sonic?

Prompt:

Upon an epic battle of brawn and speed against Shadow, The old wolf woman is selling some 'powdered fruit' that has an 'interesting' side effect…. When Zooey buys and eats one, the first thing she sees is the major, and immediately starts complimenting him on his major-ly roles in society, as if fawning over him. Perci falls for the Beaver dude, and Others take on it's effects too, resulting in similar situations; even where Knuckles thinks a toad (regular animal) and him have a 'special connection' even though it just hops away from him. (big and froggy references littered throughout, lol!)

While fighting, Shadow gets knocked back into the fruit powder, and the aroma and flakes fly everywhere, making him cough and hack some down in consequence. Amy races up behind Sonic with Tails, telling him how everyone is acting dizty, and they think Eggman might not actually be behind it, seeing as he's suddenly doting on his two robotic side-kicks. (Orbot and Cubot are being held close up to him, and they admit they've never felt so appreciated before, they don't want it to stop, lol!) Shadow tries to fight the powder's effects, but ends up seeing Amy the second it starts to wear in…

"What? Dang. Sorry, Shadow. I'll have to wipe the floor with you some other time!"

"…Er, yes! Y-you should just try it!… perhaps your friend could come too." Shadow turns away, before dashing off.

"H-huh?"

"What would Shadow want with me?" Tails inquires, not realizing where it was directed too.

Later, Sonic is just running by before seeing Amy's door open, and her laughing, saying things like, "Oh, stop it!" and "You are so funny!" he makes a face and peeks in.

"SHADOW!?" He jumps in the door frame and points an accusing finger at Shadow on Amy's couch, her holding a tray of snacks and him about to eat one.

"Uhhh… filthy heathen! I don't have time for delectable treats! I'm only here to defeat Sonic." He throws the treat down, and turns to fight Sonic, but before he does, he notices Sonic jump to ball up and spin, and quickly takes a treat and eats it before Sonic can hit him. He then balls up and spins to take him on, and they both fight across Amy's home, jumping off walls and kicking items down, battling it out.

"Hey…" Amy looks around her almost completely trashed home. (cause they always have to trash Amy's home in Sonic Boom apparently.) They continue to rough-house. "HEYYY!"

They stop when she shouts, punches still drawn in the air, before Sonic lightly bonks Shadow on the head, making him turn and glare. "What's the meaning of this?! What have I ever done to you?"

"But Amy! It's Shadow! My mortal enemy?"

"Immortal."

"Whatever." Sonic waves it off.

"I'm sorry to hear you're so mistreated, Amy. You really should treat your pathetic friends better, Sonic." He leans towards Sonic.

"What was that!?" Sonic matches his rage and closeness. "You should mind your own business than, Shadow! Why were you over here anyway!?"

Amy looked upset, but sighed, as Shadow stepped back. "Isn't it obvious?" Shadow then walked over to her and put an arm around her waist, making her double-take at her hand and his face before being pulled closer, and taking an awkward position next to him, not sure what was happening. "We were on a date."

The screen moves closer in on Sonic's face- "A da-da-da-da…"

Amy blinks her eyes, and looks to Shadow, "What?"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Sonic falls dramatically to his knees, shouting out his dismay. Shadow smirks before Amy pushes him away from her.

"Hold on!" she steps aside and looks angry, shaking her fist below herself. "A date has to have the consent of the two involved!"

"That never stopped you before…"

"Doh! Grrrr…. I wouldn't date ANYONE who calls me and my friends Pathetic! Get out!" Amy summons her hammer, and hits Shadow out of her house.

Sonic sees the 'breakup' and gets back up, "Yay!" Amy turns to him, enraged.

"I mean… I knew he was bluffing." He smiles sheepishly, before Amy knocks him out of her house too.

Later, Shadow and Sonic begin an odd… 'courting/get you back' war, where Shadow brings flowers and Sonic trashes them, making them fight as Amy steps out, and hits them away with her hammer. Sonic turns on an radio and holds it up outside of Amy's house, as Shadow smashes it, and they duke it out, before Amy steps out, shakes her head as if saying 'not this again' and bonks them both on the head before stomping back inside her home. The last attempt was a little more theatrical… as Shadow and Sonic dressed up the for the occasion, and trash the entire thing, as Amy follows the instructions on a secret admirer letter, before seeing Shadow and Sonic holding the others arms back, having just fought, and turn to her, having the entire 'romantic scene' trashed and falling apart. She looks around on all sides, shocked, before glaring a threatening look again.

"That's it! I'm threw with you two screwing around and making fun of my emotions!" She grabs another squishy fruit of some kind, and flings it at them.

Sonic dodges, "AH!" but Shadow gets hit, having his mouth open, he swallows some of the slush from the fruit, and his condition is healed. He holds his head, "Uhh… what… where am I…? And why do I feel this… terrible void of immense loss of pride and dignity within me?"

"Huh? You saying… you don't want to fight for Amy anymore?" Sonic looks confused.

"Fight for her? Don't make me laugh." Shadow spats out, as it's revealed that the fruit counteracts the effects of the powdered fruit.

Amy and Sonic rush around the town curing everyone, even Eggman, who was treating his robots to an oil-spay day, but ends up yelling at them when fruit is thrown in his face. "So much for love lasting a lifetime." Orbot disappointingly states. Later, Sonic poses for some pictures of him being awesomely heroic, before going to Amy-

"Looks like that's everyone!" Amy tosses a fruit in her hands, "…Not… quite…" she throws the fruit in his face.

"ACK!" he wipes it away, "What was that for?!"

"Weren't you under it's effects too?" she places her hands cheekily on the side of her hips, and leans forward, as if fully believing this was so. Sonic looks away, narrowing his eyes, before seeing a cover-up opportunity and going for it.

"Pfft! Oh yeah! Totally! Nom nom nom! Delicious! Haha… totally the fruit's fault!" he eats the mush on his hands and licks the rest from around his face, waving the very notion of anything else off.

When walking away, Sonic reaches an arm over her, and she just looks at him funny, "What are you doing? You're not honestly trying the 'yawn over the arm' are you?"

"W-what!? No! I was… there was a fly." He dusts Amy's shoulder, as she looks at it, and then suspiciously back at him, before shrugging it off.

"Hmm, well, thanks." She walks on. Sonic smiles a fake grin, then she passes, and he sighs in relief, arms drooped forward, before falling after her.
