Amy is sent on a lone mission to retrieve a key from a known flirt in town. After kinda liking him, she spends an afternoon 'date' with him and attempts to swipe the key while he's flirting with her.

Unknown to her, the team was to concerned for her well being, seeing as she has never been on a date with a guy before. As was Tails idea, the gang decide to secretly watch the date, and hideout while doing so, making sure Amy's safe from any 'unwanted advances' the known 'lady killer' may pull.

"You know, I've never dated a girl like you before." He turns around before Amy can pull the key off the chain that hangs from his belt.

She looks irritably disappointed before throwing a fake smile his way, and leaning up. "Oh yeah, you know, I'm just…uh… that kinda girl!" she waves her hands up and walks beside him, still trying to find a way to weasel around him and get that key!

"So… I've been thinking.." he stops at a tree and puts his arm out in front of her, leaning on said tree.

The music makes an abrupt noise halt it as Amy gulps and stares at the arm, rolling her eyes along it's frame to the guy, and nervously laughing before he takes the other arm and traps her inbetween.

She instinctively moves her back against the tree, facing him. "Haha…ha.. ehem, thinking is one thing, but it looks more like you're d-doing.." she starts to freak out, not sure what to do as she kinda does like the guy.

Though she's not sure why she likes these advances and flirtatious behavior, but maybe because she sometimes pulls this on Sonic..? Could it be… secretly… she wishes Sonic was this guy?

Minus the womanizer part.

"Amy… You're actually a really sweet girl. Funny too." he chuckles a moment, looking down before up at her again. "I'm just thinking… you room with three other guys though, right? So you're pretty used to how men are… tell me… Have they ever let you out of their sight before?"

He leaned closer.

"Uh, well, eh-heh, er… no. No, they usually don't actually." Amy tugged on her collar, nervous and sweating as he approached, and realized she only liked the attention, and suddenly this guy wasn't looking so attractive anymore. "And there my friends, what are you trying to say?" she raised her eyebrow.

"Oh, nothing just… it's kinda scary to think that if this gets serious… they might turn into your personal bodyguard and I won't be able to uh…" he took his hand and traced her arm down the side of her own arm. "See you as much… alone,… like this anymore. Makes one think they should take the chance while they can… huh?" he started to lean in for the kill…

"Um-!?" Amy squished herself against the tree, turning her head away and was about to push the guy away before-

"Yo! Hands off our friend!"

"Huh? HEY! WOAH-WOAH-WOAH, EASY THERE..!" The guy was lifted into the air and off of Amy, as Knuckles held him up there a second.

"Listen, punk! That's no way to treat a lady!" It barely took a second for Sonic to glare the man down, looking rightfully ticked.

"Don't you have any honor!?" Tails was immediately over to Amy. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you? No sudden heart attack coming on? He didn't offer you a drink by chance, did he?" Tails took out a flashlight and shined it like a medical doctor in her eye, holding it open as she finally pushed him away.

"Stop, stop, stop! What are you all doing here?" she looked around, before looking to Knuckles, "Drop him!" she spoke to him like a dog.

"But he was trying to seduce you!" Knuckles complained.

"Down?" Amy tilted her head and raised her eyebrow, pointing down once again.

"….Hmph!" Knuckles dropped the guy cold, as he fell to the ground, and quickly sprang up as he looked fearfully towards Knuckles, who folded his arms and looked away.

"Listen, babe. I can't do this, alright? You're friends are just messed up, and I figured you'd be the same. I'm out." The guy started to walk off as Amy's composure suddenly snapped.

"…Messed…up?" her eye twitched, as Sonic smiled, liking that there wasn't anyone 'else' in the picture anymore now, at least, it seemed so.

He happily stepped aside as Amy told that man what's what and not to treat her, or her friends like that. She punched him after another rude comment and just ripped the keys off of him. "I could saved myself this whole ordeal if I did that in the first place." she threw the key up and grabbed it again as she walked over and did a group hug with her boys. "Thanks for having my back guys,… I let my emotions get the best of me and thought that if one guy thought I was cute, I was special… but I should of known better." The team smiled, before the guy got up and mumbled something.

"…What was that?" Amy glared behind her, threateningly…

He started to take off in fright as she stomped off after him, summoning her hammer when Sonic came up from behind her, grabbing her waist. "Woah, woah, woah! I uh-!… heh, think he's learned his lesson!" Sonic picked her up and spun her around, making her laugh and ask him what he was doing.

He turned her around to face him and held her up in front of him, letting her fall against him. "I'm just happy you realized that you could do better than that dog." Sonic grinned.

"Oh what? Like you, for a change?" she beamed, flirting yet again with him as he made a slight face for a moment.

"Well.. anything is better than that bozo." Sonic smiled back to her.

She giggled as he put her down and Tails and Knuckles smirked.

"Should we uh… let you two finish out the date then?" Knuckles snickered, as Tails covered his mouth.

"Y-yeah, just don't stay out too late. Hahhaha!"

"Bring her home without a scratch, you hear me, kid? HAHAHAAH!"

"Ohh! You two!" Sonic let go of Amy and put her down, charging those two and wrestling them as Amy laughed and smiled, before seriously wondering if Sonic was actually jealous just then…
