Boom sonamy prompt: Sonic is traveling with amy to find a crystal, and so they camp out for the night, and sonic tells amy his backstory? Not willingly, but kinda gives in to what ever she says. Kinda like that scene from tangled after Rapunzel heals eugen's hand. Thank you!

Ah~ A disney fan~ ME TOO! :D And I've made so many backstories, but I hope you all don't mind XD I like to create them, so this one will probably be different than the other Sonic backstories I do :3 or maybe similar, Idk, you're about to find out!

(How did this guy learn to run so fast and get so cocky in life? Read to find out! :D)

As the two finished setting up the camp for the night, Amy began to daze off into the fire intently, as Sonic sat down after getting more firewood and noticed her distant gaze…

He at first looked to the fire, and then her, before smiling and grabbing a stick, tossing it in to disrupt her daydreaming and turn her attention back to reality.

"Hey, you looked pretty deep in thought there. How's lala land?" he grinned, sitting on a log to the side of her, but not on her own.

"Heh, the prince wants his lollipop back." she glared at him, as Sonic shook his head at her lame comeback.

"It was bad for his teeth anyway." Sonic teased, and looked back up at her, before avoiding her gaze and rubbing his hands together, blowing into them to keep warm. "What were you thinking about so intently?"

"…My past." Amy admitted, and threw a rock into the fire.

"Ah. A mysterious and painful topic indeed." he stated, watching the fire burn.

"Yeah… hey, what about you? You know everything about me, but I don't really know much about you. Well, besides the rumors and all."

"You mean, the legends?" He beamed, looking up and making the biggest smile she's ever seen.

"No, just rumors." she kid, as he frowned and grabbed a stick, poking the fire.

"Spoil-sport." he sniffed out, pretending to be offended.

"Haha, hey, so tell me. What was your childhood like?" she lifted her legs up, hugging them as she let her head rest on them and looked to Sonic.

Sonic looked to her, as she raised her head and batted her eyes. "Please?" she begged.

"…Well, it was…" he looked up a moment, tilting his head before closing his eyes and grinning. "It was pretty awesome." he stated, looking back to her, as the Camera zoomed in on his pupil, as he looked straight to the camera. "I wasn't always fast you know. Nah, I was actually just really,… really wild."

The camera disappeared into darkness before coming out and showing a very young Sonic, up on a tree branch as a bunch of punks were racing after him, and he stuck out his tongue and spat a noise at them. He turned around and hit his butt, mocking them and baiting them on. "Haha! Come and get me!"

"You little-! Get him!" the kids ran after him as he jumped from branch to branch, but not at his usual break-neck speed.

"Come on, fellas~ You're falling behind!" he mocked over his shoulder, holding his hand up as if that made the sound go back to them more.

He was leading the boys deeper and deeper into the forest, laughing as they were after him because he seemed to have stolen some of their food, before landing on a branch that fell, as he wobbled and dropped hard to the ground.

"Ouch! Ah man, not my greatest landing. bblblblbl-ber!" he shook his head, which had collided with the ground, as the boys all ganged up on him, and cracked their knuckles.

"You keep making fun of us and talking smart like that, and this is what you get!" they kicked him while he curled up to dodge, not knowing how to fight, before spinning as fast as he could, and having them fall to their feet. "Hey!"

"Hahaha!" he laughed, gripping his stomach, and racing off. "Guys like you deserve to have their lunches taken for a change!" he cried back, and ran to see a little mouse boy who they had previously been bullying. "Hey, there gone now, you can eat your lunch in peace." he gave the kid a signature wink and thumbs up, then ran by him as the boy wiped his eyes and looked admiringly back to him.

Young Sonic returned to his little home he had made himself, up on a roof where a hand-made hammock was, as he had run away from home a while ago.

His dad wanted him to be a lawyer. A lawyer? Yeah right!

Sonic had his mother tell him stories of far off lands full of daring adventures before, and dashing heroes who save cute damsels, and wanted more than anything to live that exact lifestyle.

Being young, he was mostly on the street, doing his own thing and livin' by his own feelings. (Sonic lyrics anyone? XD)

Suddenly, the bullies came up and knocked him away, destroying his home, and calling him a street-rat.

He tried to fight back, but he wasn't very good at fighting them when they already knew his spin trick.

He was knocked down as they stole some of his stuff and left him out in the rain…

Amy cut Sonic off a moment, "It was raining?" she was on the verge of tears, and Sonic looked to her and shook his head.

"Wow, you really believed that part, didn't you?"

She hit his shoulder.

"Ow! Okay, okay! So it wasn't that cheesy. But it felt like a rainy day." he looked off, as she 'aww'd and tried to hug him. "Wha-hey-no! I was just stating it for how it is! Now, where was I? Oh yes." Sonic had stopped Amy from trying to comfort him and moved on.

Young Sonic was walking down the street one day when a pack of robotic hounds were set loose.

"Look out! It's one of those Robotnik inventions!" someone cried out, as the hounds headed for a young girl.

"Ah! hey! G-get out of the way!" Sonic had dodged one of the hounds, but it was heading straight for the poor girl, who clung to her stuff animal and ducked her head.

Sonic looked up a moment from his memory, "I remember… how scared she was… how terrifying that thing was… and.. and I remember running… and just seeing her get closer and closer to me, before I finally pushed her out of the way. A streak of blue behind me… I… I didn't process it at first. But I suddenly started getting an adrenaline rush, and I fought the hound with my spinning trick, and learned the spin dash… by charging him and spinning." Sonic admitted, chuckling as he remembered, as Amy was engrossed in his story.

"So… you saved that girl… and you were hailed a hero?" she questioned.

"Well!…" Sonic scratched his head, "Not… hailed, but mostly, … never bothered again I guess." Sonic stated, poking the fire as he held his head down and started laughing. "You know, I remember an old woman dropping by and giving me some food. And then while she distracted me, her husband placed a small, kinda mini-house, as big as a dollhouse or doghouse, I don't know, I barely remember, but… but I turned around, and knew it was because I was fighting off those robots." he looked up, as Amy saw something in his eyes she's never seen before. "…That was the first time… I really felt like… a hero." he stated, and then tossed the stick in, the fire blazing up from that action. "Ah, whelp. Childhood. Such a… person builder. Eh?" he smiled to her, trying to get rid of the nostalgia and touching moment.

"..Sonic.." Amy smiled, completely falling for him.

"Uhh.. h-hey, don't look at me like that!"

"Teehee~" she leaned toward him, totally thinking he was cute and precious right now. "It sounded like you were a really good boy. I always thought you were a bad boy." she nodded her head and looked away, as he looked back to her.

"Oh, trust me. Before then, I kinda was." he admitted. "I liked to start trouble, even if it wasn't protecting someone. I liked to try and test my fighting skills."

"…You were a bad boy with a good heart." Amy smiled.

Sonic looked away, growing a bit shy. "Every girl's dream, I guess." he rolled his eyes, being sarcastic.

"Hehe, yeah~" Amy cooed, as she got up, when Sonic swished his head back to her in an instant, wondering if… "Well, goodnight! I'll get some more firewood and maybe some food in the morning." she winked and went to get her sleeping bag.
