How bout a SonamyBoom! headcanon? BATTLE OF THE BANDS! Eggman challenges the gang to a band battle and Sonic and Amy are forced to sing a duet? (Maybe call the band Chillidog Mouth? Disney Chanel reference...)

Haha, they may do that in Sonic Boom, sounds like a very possible thing for a silly show as it sounds like it may just be.

The team is challenged to a rock out battle after Sonic dissed Eggman's taste in music.
Wanting to be the best, they hold a 'tournament of sounds' and have villagers, like the major, judge.
The team gets all the way to the semi-finals as Eggman has slowly kidnapped the judges and replaced them with robotic clones of themselves.
The semi-finals consist of Boom!Rockers (Sonic's gang), Egg-Over-Easy (Eggman's robot band, featuring METAL SONIC! :D cause I can do that now xD), and Cliffhanger (Cliff's solo band.).
Eggman plays first and gets perfect scores, as the Boom!Rockers are up next, and Amy gets worried she can't sing in well enough to get that good of scores.
"We all have to sing a part this time, Amy! I know you'll do well." Tails tries to encourage her, but she seems a bit stage fright. She's actually worried her voice isn't very good, and thinks she should just stick to her usual instrument.
Sonic comes over and gives her a thumbs up. "I know you can do it, Amy! I hear you humming and singing all the time when you think you're alone cooking or cleaning. Come on! All I'm asking is this one time you sing just a little louder… enough for the judges to hear you, okay?"
Amy takes a deep breath in, and sings loudly, as the team cover their ears and realize she's a terrible screamo star. "Okay, new plan." Sonic states, "Don't sing loud, sing… moderately." he encourages.
"Sonic! This is a ROCK band tournament! she can't just sing a slow song!" Knuckles states, seeing as that's probably more Amy's style to not sing so upbeat.
"I..I can try." Amy takes another breath, as the gang prepares themselves this time, before hearing a very beautiful note escape her lips…
Smiling, they rewrite her portion of the song quickly, and head out on stage.
The team sings and leaves a quieter and slower part for Amy, before kicking it back up to how they all love to sing. Amy grows in confidence after her part and lets out a huge high note at the end, the note ends up exploding the robots, as they malfunction from the frequency and give the team a perfect score.
The gang is ecstatic but Eggman is now furious!
Cliff comes on and sings a an old school melody with a bit of country fun in it.
The robots continue to give perfect scores.
"Let's let the audience decide this one, Sonic!" Eggman hollers out as an army of robots surround the villagers, threatening them to vote Eggman, but the Boom!Rockers play WHILE fighting them off, getting huge points from the audience.
However, in the end, Cliff wins with the anthem of the village, and the Boom!Rockers place a happy second, glad they at least lost to a true musician.
"Heh, heh! You just can't beat ol'Louise!" Cliff spins his old banjo around like a pro, and starts playing a closing number as the team jumps in to give him a more prominent beat.
"Here we go!"
they end with the shows theme song decked out and rockin' rolling it!
Eggman retreats to his lair with a cold ice pack on his head, turning his radio station to opera, and sighs, "I should really just stick to the classics…"
(Sorry if this didn't have a lot of Sonamy, but to be honest, I think Sonic secretly likes her singing xD he just wouldn't admit it. I mean, it is suggested that he listens to her sing when she thinks no one is around, right~?)
(I headcanon that Cliff's first opening number was Cotton-Eye Joe.)
