The Troll Tree was abuzz with anticipation as the renowned pop band Brozone prepared to take the stage for their highly anticipated debut live concert. All the pop trolls in the packed venue eagerly awaited the band's electrifying performance. However, our story does not begin with the band's grand entrance, but rather backstage, where a female troll stood, her heart racing, as Brozone made final preparations to captivate the colossal crowd.

Her uniquely pale skin made her stand out in the dimly lit room, unlike any other troll. With emerald eyes fixed on John-Dory, the band's leader and eldest brother, she watched as he deliberated over the setlist. Floyd then approached, gazing at her affectionately, and gently wrapped his light blue arm around her waist, drawing her close.

Blushing, she lowered her head as soft stage light filtered through the leafy backstage entrance, casting a warm glow on her glitter-dusted cheeks. Floyd gently lifted her chin, smiling down at her before stealing a tender kiss - a familiar gesture between the two lovers. As he caressed her braided hair, she melted into their intimate embrace.

Though reluctant, their kiss ended, leaving her longing for more. Yet she recognized Floyd's importance to the band. With a gentle gesture, he brushed back her bangs and promised to join her in her pod after the show. Her bashful smile and joyful gaze were soon interrupted by John-Dory's commanding voice directing the band.

Noticing Branch's nervous expression, her soft smile quickly turned to a concerned frown. Without hesitation, she approached him and knelt by his side. "Are you okay, B?" she asked gently, placing a reassuring hand on his back.

Harmony's attention remained fixed on Branch as John-Dory's voice grew increasingly agitated in the background. This focus was broken only when Floyd arrived. Floyd greeted Harmony with a grateful smile before turning to his brother. "Hey, Branch, how are you feeling?" Floyd asked, taking a seat next to him.

Panic rising in his voice, Branch confessed, "I feel like I'm going to be sick, pass out, and..." Floyd's eyes softened with empathy as he interjected, "Pee your pants?" Taken aback, Branch asked, "How did you know?" His brother's perceptive understanding surprised him.

"Ah, you're feeling the pre-show jitters. Completely normal, everyone gets 'em," He paused, then asked, "You know what I do when I get the jitters?"

Branch glanced over at the pale troll beside Floyd before returning his gaze. "Barf, pass out, and pee your pants?" he questioned.

Floyd chuckled. "Actually, I just remember that I'm with my brothers and Harmony. When we come together, there's nothing we can't do." He flashed Branch a warm smile.

Branch's eyes sparkled with excitement as he asked, "But no one has achieved the perfect family harmony before. Is it true that it can shatter diamonds?" "Yeah, it's that powerful," Floyd replied, just as they were interrupted by John-Dory.

As the boys prepared to take the stage, Harmony would rise and press a kiss to each of their cheeks, lingering a moment longer on Floyd's before stepping back with a warm smile. "Go knock 'em dead, boys!" she would exclaim, her voice brimming with encouragement. Turning to Floyd, she added, "I'll be waiting for you after the show."

Seeking refuge from the clamor of the large crowd, Harmony quietly slipped out of the backstage commotion through a discreet crew exit. She craved solace from the overwhelming audience noise and made her way to her secluded pod.

That night, her life would be shattered, though she remained unaware of the impending devastation.

Harmony's anxiety mounted as the hours crept by. She paced restlessly in her pod, her mind consumed with worry. Resigning herself, she concluded that Floyd must be occupied with his fans. Despite her thoughts still fixated on his absence, Harmony prepared for bed and eventually drifted off to sleep.

The following day, as soft sunlight streamed through her window, she summoned the strength to rise from her bed and face the day. Slipping into her beloved blue dress, a reminder of Floyd, she adorned her ear with the white pearl earring passed down from her grandmother. Touching the delicate earring, memories of the black mate she had given Floyd flooded her mind - a token for him to remember her while he was away on tour. With a determined shake of her head, she pushed aside the bittersweet thoughts and made her way to Rosiepuff's pod, hoping to catch a glimpse of Floyd.

Harmony entered the pod, unsettled by an eerie silence. Puzzled, she called out for the boys but received no response. Growing more anxious, she ventured deeper into the home and discovered Grandma Rosiepuff cradling a distraught Branch.

Harmony's concern spiked as she dropped her bag and rushed to Branch's side. With a sense of urgency, she looked up at Grandma Rosie and asked, "What's happening? Why is Branch so upset?" Glancing around, she noticed the boys were nowhere to be seen. "Where are the others? Shouldn't they be here comforting him?"

With a somber expression, Grandma Rosie delivered the news to Harmony, "I'm afraid they won't be returning home for a while."

Harmony's voice rose, laced with anger, as she exclaimed, "What do you mean he's not coming home? What about Branch? They would never go on tour without him!" Her outrage at the thought of his brothers abandoning him was palpable.

Rosie explained in a pained tone, "They aren't going on tour, my dear. They split up last night."

Harmony's world shattered, her heart sinking as she fearfully asked, "S-split up?" She whimpered, feeling like the walls were closing in on her as the weight of the betrayal settled heavily on her heart.

"The concert had not gone as planned, causing the group to part ways." Tearfully, she recounted Branch's report that Floyd had even left the previous night. As she spoke, the younger troll began to crumble before her eyes.

Rosie started to say "Songbird-" but was interrupted by Harmony, who pleaded, "Don't! Just... don't." Tears filled Harmony's eyes as she embraced Branch. His comforting presence grounded her, preventing her from feeling adrift. The news that the person she had loved so profoundly was leaving without a proper goodbye filled her with both sorrow and anger..

Overcome with anguish, she seethed, 'How could he do this? After all we've been through, after I gave him my heart and soul.' Despite her seething anger, a glimmer of hope remained that it was all a misunderstanding, and he would soon return with a surprise. But as the day dragged on, the painful truth became clear - he was gone for good.

Despite her desire to hide away in bed indefinitely, she knew she needed to be there for Branch. His brothers may have abandoned him, but she was resolute in standing by his side, no matter the circumstances.

A/N

Hi everyone, I am so very sorry for the delay in updating this story, things have just been one thing after another and before I knew it a whole year was gone.

I have been struggling with my mental health as well as my sister's death on top of my job being short staffed so I had to pick up extra hours to accommodate the lack of people.

However I will do my very best to be more active now, hopefully I can get Floyd and Harmony to cooperate with me so I can finish this story the way it deserves.

For those who've read my story previously you'll notice the chapters have changes to them, I am going back through and revamping the chapters I have done before I continue writing as I was not happy with the way they were written before.

If anyone has suggestions, or anything they'd like to see in this story that is appropriate I am more then happy to listen to them.

Thank you everyone so much for your patience and kind words.

That being said I appreciate each and everyone of you, I hope you all know you are loved, special, and so strong. We can get through this together!
