Wet human:

Amiko didn't know how lonely visiting her usual bookstores was without Kai until today. Way he would randomly meet her on the train or bus always seemed welcoming. Way he started up a conversation with her had livened up her day. Then he would accompany her to where she was going for the rest of the day. This would turn into an outing for the two of them with him treating.

Didn't seem to be happening now when she stood before a vending machine with a coin in hand. Unable to choose what she wanted to eat or drink while on break. Since usual Kai was the one that had two extra for her. An extra bento and beverage to share with her since he usually thought it was too much. Left her lost in the memory of his kindness with a smile on her face.

"Amiko?" A voice alerted her.

"Reika?" She turned toward the voice.

"What are you doing here?" One asked the other.

They ended up laughing in their own ways before Reika paid for Aimko's meal. Leaving them to return to the classroom exchanging stories on why they were here. Seems Reika was here to please her family on many levels. She was pleasing her parents while amusing her great- grandfather. Her brother didn't care either way after starting up his private vet practice. Amiko was here to further her study and reach for her personal dream of being a doctor like her grandmother.

"Odd," Rekia didn't understand, "Don't you want to be a painter like your brother and grandfather?"

"I rather admire thru art work from afar," Amiko happily smiled, "Being able to save a life is what I want to do."

"Glad to know you can choose your life," Reika grew sad, "I'll be forced to become miko in the end."

"Have you tried telling your parents?" Amiko asked Reika.

"Neither are hardly ever home for me to voice my opinion on my future," Reika sighed, "When they're gone, barely a day before they go rushing off."

Amiko ended up feeling lucky to be able to see Grandparents and brother when she wanted. She had her own keys to her Grandmother's condominium or her brother's studio.

"I would like you to come with me to visit my brother?" Amiko got an idea, "I plan on introducing Kai to him."

"I wanted to do the same with Cipher and my brother." Reika sipped her drink.

"I thought he was your arm candy." Amiko recalled Reika's arrangement with Cipher.

"He was becoming more than a hireable boyfriend." Reika answered.

Amiko was blinking out of shock when she continued to eat her meal like the rest of her classmates. Revealing they were on a small break after reviewing the latest lessons from the teacher. Some attention was aimed at them since both girls were popular for different reasons. Amiko's natural brilliance and top test scores from each mock exam. Had fellow cram school students wondering why she was even here among them. Reika's beauty was inherited from her mother and strange calmness came from her father. Left people to think she was some snobby prick by others standards.

"Going home after this?" Reika asked Amiko, "Since this class gives out late."

"Straight home to an empty apartment," Amiko figured, "Since my parents are working late and my brother would be in bed by now."

"You can come home with me," Reika decided, "My nephew will be up beside my great- grandfather at this hour."

"I forget how lively your home is." Amiko recalled.

Having her brother still living at home with his son and her fossil of a great- grandfather at home. Had Reika never come home to an empty household despite hours of night or day. Which was always filled with noise of some kind that made Amiko further wonder.

"Have you ever spent time with your grandfather?" Amiko asked about Reika's grandfather.

"What do you mean on my mom's birthday?" She asked back.

Jadeite could never understand who his wife's father always sent Casablanca lilies and a white dress. His great- grandfather- in - law explained to him about this being a tradition on his granddaughter's birthday. Reika always thought was odd since she first learned of this when she first met him.

"Oh my." Amiko didn't know that tradition still carried on.

"I was once asked," Reika revealed, "If I wanted my favorite flower and a white dress delivered to her for my birthday?"

"Did you ever take your grandfather up on it?" Amiko asked her.

Reika sadly smiled with a nod of her head when she thought of simple gifts Cipher gave her. Usually they were mostly left over pastries or left over flowers from his family's cafe. Something she was beginning to miss about him when he was around to be called.

"Get ready for homemade food and stories about my mom," Reika winked at Amiko, "Class is starting soon."

This stayed with Amiko long after their break stopped and class started back up for them. Like always she was on point answering questions and making everyone Reika wasn only one that bothered by this behavior since she grew up around it. Back she would sit to work on her school work waiting for cram school to be dismissed. Not knowing that her brother would be waiting outside at the entrance.

"Hey girls," Kalunite waved from where he stood, "I'll be your ride home."

"One of our dads or my brother that sent you?" Amiko asked him.

"Bit of all three," He replied, "Have you girls eaten yet?"

Way he juggle his car keys in one hand gets the girls going with them choosing where they are going to eat. One place came up with them heading to the car lot where his car was parked. Just while they were making their way they lost in conversation about cram school. Not noticing a woman with a headscarf at a vending machine. She was picking a tea from the slot when she saw the trio walk by.

"Hmm." She got an idea.

She quickly acted by pulling a sealed jar holding a single Daimon pod from her tote bag. She unscrewed the lid and held up the canned tea above the pod. Watching the fusing process take place was nothing new for her. Since her research already told her what to expect when canned tea Daimon. Stood before her and awaited before her awaiting orders.

"Around the corner," She gave a passing glance, "Extract the hearts of the girls and bring them to me."

"Tea?" canned tea Daimon offered a cup to her.

She accepted before watching the canned tea Daimon ran off to fetch what she ordered. She ended up drinking her bitter blend while adjusting her tote's handles. Not caring about Amiko and Reika being separated from Kalunite. Puddles of poorly made tea had Reiak wanting to set this Daimon right. Amiko thought dodging and trying to not get drenched was a better idea. Had them being stopped when their feet were separately restrained. Cylinder shaped blocks kept their feet frozen in place.

"Tea time." Daimon revealed its black star tattoo, Out shot this double black beam of energy in the shape of a 5- pointed star. Piercing the girls' chests in searing manner just digging.

Steam of bitter scent of tea when she worked double time to keep her energy beam going. Started to create a musky fog bank neither girl could handle.

"Can't breath." Reika couldn't stand the scent.

Spark in Reika's eyes started to fade when a sparkling came from her chest. Wasn't as bright as Amiko struggling against her bonds calling Reika's name. Her tears rolled down her face when she saw a heart crystal form.

"No." Amiko felt as helpless as she did when she was first attacked.

Memories of when she first met Kai came flooding back to her as a planetary symbol of mercury. Appeared on her forehead Aas each tear became frosty slush. Steam from canned tea Daimon produced started to take on a chilly touch. Which was noticed by Kalunite when he regained consciousness for a second. His blurred vision and feeling of lightheadedness made it hard to get to his feet. He tried to stand before he blacked out when he got up too quickly. Falling back onto the ground with a soft thud. Somehow a chilly fog bank had softened his fall and swallowed his form.

"Your turn." The Daimon turned toward Amiko.

To only be unable to find her where she was held in place by two to cylinders since fog had surrounded EVERYTHING. Making passing the thick fog cloud impossible for even the Daimon. Who started to grow cold when its own steam lost its natural warmth. Not noticing movement taking place where lifeless Reika's body was.

"Deep Freeze." She heard so,some yelled out and triggered the mist around her Daimon to start freezing. Engulfing its body until it was completely frozen in place of a solid block of ice.

"Roaring Fire." Another ended up aiming a swirling stream of endless fire at the frozen Daimon. Way the flames danced as they burned away at the ice surrounding the Daimon. Flickering alone when cracks formed and ice melted piece by piece.

Mina could never get herself to stop taking back alley ways home since she had to see, if the cafe was open. Seeing Dann's smiling face in that butler steer uniform still made her laugh. In place she stopped to find that familiar face standing before the opened door. He was in middle of sweeping the area around the door as Vir slept nearby

"Dann?" Mina called him by name.

"Yes?" He wondered why stood there, "Something wrong? I tried to call to tell you, we were …."

He couldn't go on since Mina had run toward him and practically tackled him. Just not hard enough to knock him down when her arms wrapped around him. Noting the extra muscle tone he developed under his clothes.

"What do you think about a trip to the beach?" She asked him.

"My mom has been thinking about opening a cafe at the beach?" He thought about it.

"Just say yes," Vir huffed out, "He missed you and couldn't stop complaining."

"Vir." Dann yelled at him.

Angel ran pass Dann stating he would be late coming home tonight since Makoi wanted to see him. She wanted to share her new cinnamon roll recipes with him. Along with the different types she decorated them using toppings.
