Orange Yellow Nature of Fun and Wild
"Okay, snack packs?" Piper asked looking at the check list she and Mikey made.
"Check!" Mikey showed the snack packs.
"Money enough for lunch?" Piper asked.
"Check!" Mikey showed their wallets with their allowance inside.
"Map of all the fun places we'll visiting today?" Piper asked.
"Marked in the orange circles, check!" Mikey unfolded the map in his hands.
"Great, that means we're all set for our fun-fill day of fun!" Piper excited.
"That's twice the fun we'll ever have!" Mikey pointed out, exciting too.
"Now let's go check on the others to see if they want to go have fun today!" Piper jumped over Mikey and out of their bedroom as he soon follows her.
Mikey and Piper enter the living room of their secret underground HQ as they can see their fellow Mysticons sitting together on the couch, but they don't look ready for the early morning except for Leonardo who is eating his cereal regularly and not tiresome like the others.
"Yo guys, are you all ready another awesome day?" Mikey asked cheerfully.
"Yeah, fun like waking up so early in the morning for training and barely tasting our cereal then I'm all for it." Raph said sarcastically.
"Sounds like you were having one of your angry sleeps again." Piper guessed.
"Come on, guys! Sure, the training we go through are hard and a little painful with Master Splinter and Malvaron, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy the rest of the days in the most awesome-fabtacular way!" Mikey stated.
"That maybe sure, but you two have to remember that as Mysticons, we have to take our training seriously so we can be ready for whatever danger we'll face next." Leonardo pointed out.
"Serious this and serious that. You really need to know when to relax and jump for fun." Mikey advised.
"Yeah, I believe today is going to fabtacular!" Piper said confident.
Right after she said that the Dragon Disk starts glowing brightly getting the young Mysticons' attention.
"Now that's fabtacular!" Piper excited and they approach the disk, except for Choko who just went to sleep.
"Ah yeah, it's Codex hunting time!" Mikey shouted.
"Guess we can put the things we were going to do today on hold." Piper shrugged and put the to-do list in her backpack.
"So, whose Codex are we going to search for now?" Piper wondered as the exciting builds up in inside her.
"Whichever it is, let's be sure to get it quick before dead creeps and Foot idiot get in our way." Raph pounded his fist into his palm.
"I'm also betting a pizza slice that it's mine and Raph's." Zarya grinned.
"I'll take that bet." Mikey said.
"Focus guys." Leo said as he and Arkayna grab the dish, and the riddle to the next Codex shows itself to them.
"Herewith follows, the riddle of doom. Fail to answer and-"
"You'll find your tomb." Arkayna finished reading the riddle after Zarya.
"Huh, I'm not sure I'm going like this one." Donnie gulped.
"Relax, Donnie, it's not like riddle have ever killed anyone." Leo assured.
Then all eight Mysticons are suddenly teleported from their Headquarters and right outside, about over hundreds feet in the air and right over Drake City.
"This is why I hate RIDDLES!" Emerald shouted as they began to fall to their doom.
"Okay, falling towards death has gotten me awake." Raph said panicking a little.
"Good, now let's solve this riddle before we become street pancakes!" Arkayna said as the riddle appears in front of them.
"I'm betting that it might be Donnie and Em's." Mikey said.
"If we survive, we might know." Leo freaked out a little.
"Okay. Windmill giants, immortal knights, there's no limit when I take flight." Leo read the riddle.
"Flight? That would be cool if we have wings or our Griffons." Mikey chuckled.
"Yeah, but we can still do this!" Piper swinged her body around making herself look like she is flying as Mikey does the same.
"Piper, Mikey! Will you two take this seriously." Zarya scolded as the other try guessing what the answer is.
"A dog? Turtleneck? A boat? Why does riddles have to be so painful?!" Emerald screamed.
"Hey, relax girl, you got nothing to worry about. You just got to make the bad things into fun!" Mikey believed comforting Emrald.
"Like trying to pretend falling to our deaths is fun?" Raph asked sarcastically.
"Come on, guys. All it takes is some imagination." Piper pointed out as she flew under them.
"Imagination? Like that ever helps with anything." Donnie rolled his eyes.
"Wait a minute! "There's no limit when I take flight." Imagination!" Emerald solved the riddle, and they are teleported away before their bodies could hit the streets.
And they are back in their HQ landing right on top of Malvaron and Doug as April was spare from being a living cushion.
"Booyakasha!" Mikey and Piper jumped cheering of the excitement they just had.
"I take it you guys solved a riddle from the Dragon Disk?" April asked.
"Yep, and all it took was falling hundreds of feet in the air towards our doom. But screw you doom, the Mysticons are still alive!" Mikey said dramatic.
"I want to do that again, and again, and again, and bunch of more times!" Piper giggled.
"We would've been dead if you two weren't goofing off." Leo stated.
"Dude, what's the matter with having fun?" Mikey shrugged.
"Fun is one thing, Mikey. But you and Piper are heroes now." Raph said.
"Which means you got to act like one." Zarya added making Mikey and Piper feel they're being scolded.
"Can somebody explain to me why the Dragon Disk was trying to kill us?" Emerald asked as Donnie brushed himself.
"It was just testing you." Malvaron answered.
"By sending us to our doom?" Raph raised an eyebrow.
"The important thing is you guys are alive and you'll get the next riddle for the Codex's location." April pointed out, and the map and next riddle appear in open magical hologram color.
"See, just as April said." Malvaron gestured at the map.
"Wonderful, another riddle." Emerald exclaimed.
"A place of peace, a reverential room-" Raph read half of the riddle.
"I stand alone in fiery bloom?" Leo read the second half.
"Hey Piper, I'm getting an awesome feeling that the next Codex piece might be ours." Mikey theorized.
"Oh, that is fabtacular!" Piper smiled clapping her hands.
"This what the Magi Mall looked like a thousand years ago." Arkayna recognized.
"Oh, oh, if you're going to be the mall, could you pick me up a Twinkly Mare, special edition? She was just released today!" Doug asked exciting.
"What's a Twinkly Mare?" Emerald asked.
Malvaron sighed and show them the magical hologram screen of the Twinkly Mare commercial with a cheerful song.
"Really, dude? Pony toys?" Raph questioned the Cyclop's hobbies.
"What? It's for a friend." Doug lied, but the others could see right through it.
"Sure, sure. We can do all the fun mall stuff which is on our fun to-do list!" Piper pulled out of her list.
"Oh yeah, drink slush gulpies, and maybe the carousel is open." Mikey mentioned.
"I remember how we used to sneak on at night. Such fond memories." Piper sighed of happy memories.
"Piper, Mikey, we don't have time for any of that. And sorry, Doug, we won't be able to pick up your sparkly horse today." Zarya said as Piper got angry doing a mocking puppet of Zarya with her hand and Mikey giving her the disapproval look.
"Twinkly Mare." Doug corrected and decided to pick it up himself.
"Okay, it's magic hour!" Arkayna and Leo declared.
All eight transformed into their Mysticons form and rode off on their Griffons heading for the mall as fast as they can.
"Sheesh, everyone sure is feeling stress today." Mikey said.
"I know, it's like they forgot we're still kids with lots of growing to do. Right, Miss Paisley?" Piper asked and she nods.
Mikey then notices the biker Troll gang with Kymraw threatening that old goblin security guard.
"Looks like we got company." Arkayna alerted.
"Is she after the Codex piece?" Piper asked.
"Road Rangers attack! Kymraw will have Twinkly Mare!" Kymraw shouted.
"Nope, just another weirdo for a toy horse." Raph rolled his eyes.
"In that case, throw me, sis!" Mikey popped into his shell.
"Okie-dokie!" Piper caught the shell in her arms and spins around fast before throwing Mikey right at Kymraw in the face knocking her down.
"Looks like we're having a sell on Troll beatdown!" Mikey announced.
Soon, the other Mysticons starts beating her whole gang forcing them several feet away from the mall.
"Mysticons? Kymraw hate Mysticons!" Kymraw swinged her battle axe that knocoked Arkayna, Leo, Emerald, and Donnie crashing into a wall.
"Not cool!" Raph charged and slashes his claws at Kymraw as she blocks the attacks.
Zarya jumps high firing three magic arrows at Kymraw forcing her to stumble back and Arkayna used her Dragon Bracer to knock the troll woman back more forcing to tell her men to retreat.
"Oh yeah, Mysticons one. Troll biker gang zero!" Mikey cheered.
"We're gonna find the Codex and be more awesome!" Piper cheerfully singed.
"Hey, what if Kymraw heard that?" Zarya pointed out.
"Relax, it's not Kymraw cares about the Codex." Mikey said and they saw Kymraw driving off.
"Let's hope that's the case." Leo worried.
"Come in, Dreadbane. Kymraw has info on Codex, you want to make trade?" Kymraw asked, calling Dreadbane.
Meanwhile, the Mysticons are allowed in by the old goblin man.
"Mysticons, it is an honor. I'm Barnabas Dinglelott, the soon-to-be retired Magi Mall cop. What brings you all here?" Barnabas asked.
"We are here on an official Mysticon quest, noble goblin." Emerald answered in her knight voice.
"Seriously? You're gonna do the "knight" voice?" Zarya asked.
"Yeah, I am. I like the knight voice." Emerald answered seriously.
"She has always dreamt of being a knight." Donnie mentioned.
"To the stables, brave steeds." Emerald said to park their griffons.
"We don't have stables for the griffons." Barnabas informed the Mysticon Knight.
"To the bike rack, brave steeds." Emerald corrected herself.
"Okay, we should mix in the mall directory with the mall of the ancient ruins." Leo suggested.
"Good thinking, Wind Ninja." Arkayna nodded and line up the magic hologram of the ruin on top of the mall.
"Okay, so what's the best place the Codex could be hiding?" Raph asked.
"It could be in the old blacksmith's shop." Zarya guessed.
"Could be, but there is good chance that… Wait, where Forest Ninja and Mysticon Striker?" Donnie noticed the two are gone from their group.
"Wait the drake… Are you kidding me?!" Raph shouted in rage.
"Ugh, those must have gone off to goof off again like a couple of stupid kids." Zarya said angry.
"Okay, I know those two can be a handful, but I think you're being a little harsh on them." Donnie said.
"Mountain Ninja is right, they did helped us with the falling to our doom riddle, in a way." Emerald recalled.
"That still doesn't excuse them of taking our missions to protect the realm seriously. We all need to be at our best to face any situation." Arkayna stated.
"Like an army is skeleton men coming at us?" Barnabas asked.
"Yeah, like an army of-Say what now?" Arkayna shocked.
Everyone turn to the gate where Barnabas was staring at and they gasp upon seeing the undead soldiers standing in front of the mall gate with their swords ready for battle.
"It looks Dreadbane must've got word about us being here." Leo feared.
"From a certain troll we knew she heard Piper's singing." Zarya glared.
"And we're completely outnumbered." Donnie noted.
"At least she's a good, strong gate." Barnabas mentioned about the gate.
"Yes, a strong gate that is about to be open." Rahzar smirked suddenly appearing over the heroes and lands right next to the switch of the gate.
"Rahzar?! How'd you even get in here?" Emerald asked shock.
"Your mall cop should have made sure to check the sewer line under the mall." Rahzar answered with an evil smirk and pull down the lever opening the gate.
"Get ready, everyone. We're about to make this a season off of fighting undead creeps." Leo said as the Mysticons prepare themselves to fight including Barnabas.
"Ha! I laugh in the face of danger!" Barnabas proclaimed.
Then Dreadbane and Tazma enter the scene as Rahzar jump next to them ready to use his claws for some destruction.
"Burn this mall to the ground and bring me their bones!" Dreadbane ordered fiercely as the skeleton soldiers marches into the mall.
"I want my retirement!" Barnabas scared as he ran away.
"Finest mall cop, ladies and gentlemen." Zarya sighed.
The Mysticons starts fighting the skeleton men: Leo fire a wind magic enhanced arrow blowing several undead men away, he ducks down to two soldiers swinging their swords at him then swipe kick them down. Arkayna split her Dragon Staff into two and fire her green magic fireballs blasting the soldiers into pieces and knock some down with close-range attacks. Raph unleash some flaming flying blade attacks burning away the soldiers and punch some in the face, then Zarya jumps over Raph spinning around fast and firing her magic arrows knocking more down. Donnie swings his axe-stick sending several skeleton soldiers flying and slams it on the ground to summon some spikes to impale the soldiers. Emerald charges at them with her magic pink shield to push some back and she jumps back to unleash her magic slash away knocking them down.
Zarya fires a magic arrow at Dreadbane, but he deflects it with his sword.
"Hey, Bone face!" Kymraw called out, getting his attention.
"Me lead you to Mysticons. Kymraw want her reward!" Kymraw demanded.
"So be it." Dreadbane said and reveal in his hand… a Twinkly Mare toy.
Kymraw gasps of joy quickly taking the pony toy from Dreadbane hands and skips away to enjoy her new favorite item, while Rahzar and Tazma looks at her with weird looks in their eyes.
"Remind me how is she a wanted criminal?" Rahzar asked.
"I've been wondering about that myself." Tazma said.
Dreadbane fire his own magic blasts from his sword at Mysticon Dragon Mage as she quickly blocks them by twirling her staff around fast and fires back at him, then Rahzar dashes at them slashing away with his claws at Raph who counters with his claw gloves. Raph dodges a finger thrust attack, but Rahzar quickly move his arm to smack Raph away crashing near Zarya and charges at Mountain Ninja pushing him back a few feet, but Donnie was able to kick him away and Emerald went for a strike on the shoulder. Razhar saw this coming and grabs her by the stomach slamming her to the ground and threw at her Donnie.
"We need to get out of here. This place will be crawling with baddies." Arkayna suggested.
"We also need to find Mikey and Piper; it's going to take all of us to stand up to them." Leo added.
"Then it's a good thing we're here, dude!" Mikey and Piper jumped into the scene.
"Guys, you're back!" Emerald smiled.
"Perfect, now we can crush them all at once." Tamza laughed and started performing a spell.
"Shadowy power, fill the sky with the most savage of steeds, the Dark Pegasi!" Tazma summoned dozens of pitch-black Pegasus as Dreadbane and some of the skeleton soldiers rides on them.
"Prepare to meet your doom!" Dreadbane declared.
"Nah, how about you prepare to meet your doom!" Piper said as she and Mikey held up their orange and yellow Codex.
"Whoa, you guys actually found the Codex piece!" Zarya surprised.
"Yeah, it was at the top of the carousel in the Dragon Lotus." Mikey revealed.
"Of course, the last remaining column was still around before the carousel was built and the Dragon Lotus is the symbol." Donnie realized.
"Yeah, we tried to find it around the carousel but no luck." Mikey started explaining.
"Then we suddenly got all angry with each other of how you guys are angry thinking don't take things seriously when I yell "Wake up and smell the Dragon Lotus!"" Piper mentioned.
"That was when we realize what the riddle was talking about and"
"Could you guys save it after we beat the bad guys?" Raph yelled.
"Right." Mikey and Piper nodded.
"Fly Phoenix, Fly!" Piper summoned the magic Phoenix spirit.
"Get Whack with Nature, Forest Turtle!" Mikey unleashed an orange turtle spirit.
They fly blasting away all most of the skeleton armies along with the black-winged horses, Rahzar was unfortunate to get caught in the blast.
"I'm out of here!" Rahzar ran away and soon, Dreadbane and Tazma follow.
The rest of the Mysticons cheer for Mikey and Piper's victory over the enemy and finding their piece of the Codex.
"Great job, you two." Leo said proudly.
"Guess you two can be serious at times. Sorry but what we said." Raph apologized.
"You were right about having fun, even if we're heroes." Zarya admitted.
"Thanks, guy. That just goes to show you how awesome we really are." Piper smiled.
"And that calls for a big"
"BOOYAKASHA!" Mikey and Piper jumped together with a strong high five.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
Mikey and Piper have proven themselves to be capability heroes to the others as they can be serious on certain quest and having fun at the same time and showing off their new Bracers too. Only two more Codex pieces remains and the Mysticons are going to be sure to get them all together.
