Hunt of the Revenge Seeking Monster!
"Okay, teeth brushed after a nice breakfast." Zarya smiled walking to the living room of the lair as saw the others.
"Morning Mysticons, what's on the agenda today?" Zarya asked.
Everyone responded by turning their heads giving her the kind of look that they are suspicious of something, and they are using that look directly on her.
"What are you all looking at me for?" Zarya asked.
"Take a look at this." Donnie pulled out the hologram TV screen showing the news about Mathis being suck on the statue and the police are stalling on purpose.
"Authorizes say to be on the lookout for a hideous, beast-like assailant." Serena Snakecharmer mentioned, and Mathis fell from the statue face-first to the ground.
"Ah, the sweet sound of justice." One of Serena's snakes said grinning and the news ended.
"Best news ever! Who has egg on their face now?" Zarya cheered of Mathis getting his just dessert.
Arkayna cleared her throat with a fake cough getting the purple hair girl's attention.
"What? He deserved it, and if I met whoever did that to him, I'd buy them a lifetime supply of snog balls!" Zarya proclaimed.
"Which is probably expensive, and you can't afford it." Donnie pointed out.
"Plus we want to know where you were last night." Mikey leaned a bit closer to Zarya's face.
"Where was I… Wait, you don't think I had anything do with this, do you?" Zarya asked, surprise of this.
"There was how upset you were toward him yesterday." Leo mentioned.
"Along with him being on your life, and we saw today he was dangling from a statue." Arkayna added.
"He also had egg on his face like how you wanted to." Emerald pointed out.
"Yeah, feels a little too much of a co-inky-dink, Big Z." Piper jumped and lands on the other side of Zarya.
"Hey, I couldn't have done it because I was in bed all night, awake, listening to your snore." Zarya pointed at Emerald making her gasp.
"Oh, my goblin. I snore again, I usually have that under control with a mask Donnie made for me." Emerald said.
"Which I'm still fixing it from how broken it was when Mikey and Piper played with playing Cops and Robbers." Donnie narrowed his eyes are the two younger members as they chuckle nervously.
"Well, the snore was like an ogre, and why am I even defending myself? I didn't do it!" Zarya yelled.
"Say, in my eyes." Raph walked to his adopted sister up-close looking straight into her eyes.
"I didn't do it." Zarya repeated calm while starring back at his eyes.
Raph waited for a moment being very quiet which is very surprising to the others as they never knew Raph could even be quiet like that, except for Mikey and Piper who have known him and Zarya for much longer.
Then Raph finally broke the silence.
"She's telling the truth." Raph informed everyone.
"Is that something you always do?" Leo asked.
"Yeah, guess you could call it a little connection between to know if we're being truth to each other or not on important things." Raph explained.
"Glad to hear that, after all, she made us a promise. And I know you keep your word." Arkayna placed a hand on Zarya's shoulder.
"Y-Yeah, and shouldn't we be doing training right now?" Zarya asked.
"That's the spirit, glad we had this chat!" Arkayna smiled, turns around accidentally giving Zarya a hair flick.
This made Zarya angry a bit and heard Choko going up to her.
"I know, Choko, can you believe her? Accusing me of going after Mathis?" Zarya rolled her eyes, but Choko have her the "really" look.
"Don't look at me like that, the spell was a dud. I had nothing to do with this and I'm not the only one who has it in for Mathis, lots of people do, one of them probably did it." Zarya pointed out.
"Yeah, that's what happened." Zarya believed and Choko think she might have a point there.
"Whew, now I can train with a clean conscience." Zarya sighed as she walks to the training room.
Yet why did Zarya have a feeling that things are not what it seems.
Soon, the Mysticon started their battle training against each other: teams are Leo, Zarya, Emerald, and Mikey as the Blue team while the Green team is consists of Arkayna, Piper, Donnie, and Raph. The teams are also fending off against Doug pretending to be a bad Cyclops, swinging his stone hammer at the Mysticons while taking some beatings from them like with Emerald using her bombs on which hurts a little badly.
"Sorry, so sorry." Emerald apologized.
"Em, remember this is training." Leo reminded.
"Yeah, no need to apologize." Zarya agreed and fired some magic arrows at Doug.
"Face… Meet floor." Doug groaned before falling over.
"We got him!" Mikey cheered.
However, the victory would be short-lived as team Green popped out from behind Doug and onto his body.
"Cyclops shield!" Piper shouted.
Donnie quickly threw a small sphere device at the Blue team as it beeps a few times before suddenly exploded into a small electric shock that stun them for a moment which is enough for Arkayna, Piper, and Raph to land some attacks on them knocking each one down. All except for Mikey as he was able to jump away in time.
"Oh no, you didn't! BOYIE" Mikey launched at them hoping to avenge his team.
But that didn't happen as Donnie jumps at Mikey swinging his axe down hard sending Mikey crashing onto the floor.
"Okay, you totally did… BOYIE" Mikey groaned.
"YA ME!" Splinter shouted as the training has ended.
"Green team is the winner!" Malvaron announced as the Green team cheers.
"Thanks for taking one for the team." Piper thanked Doug.
"Way to decorate my insides, Pipes." Zarya commented as she coughed out some pixie dusts.
"And no fair, you guys had an extra man." Zarya complained.
"Well, I don't recall the rules being not using the enemy Cyclops as a means for victory." Donnie stated.
"Yeah, no need to feel like a sore loser." Arkayna chuckled.
"You just got back on my list, and I'm adding you as well, smarty." Zarya glared at Arkayna and Donnie.
"Stop it with the whole list thing." Arkayna rolled her eyes.
"Sure, as soon as you stop it with the hair flicking." Zarya talked back.
"Hair flicking? This is about hair flicking?" Arkayna argued.
"I believe you two will need some alone time from each other for a while." Malvaron advised as he steps in between the two.
"He is right, Arkayna will go back to the castle for some fresh air while Zaryna remains here for some breathing for meditation." Splinter said.
Arkayna turns around with her hair flicking on Zarya's face again while Leo decided to take her to a spot for the meditation session though the Ranger Mysticon growls.
"Odd, why I feel like something strange and bad is gonna happen?" Raph asked himself.
(Royal Castle Balcony)
Arkayna is on the balcony all by herself while having her magic diary book and magic pen writing down of what she is feeling right now.
"Dear diary, I seriously don't get Zarya. I mean, I try to be nice, but she totally hates me for some reason. The weird thing is, I think we fight all the time, like how Leo and Raph would butt heads with each other, because we have so much in common. We're both" Arkayna's sentence was cut off when she heard some.
"Did you hear that?" Arkayna asked the magic pen, and it nods.
Arkayna called out to see if there is anyone there on the balcony hoping that it's Leo, but no respond and went back to her diary, about to mention a guy she likes, then something sneaks around which she turns around again.
And this time, Arkayna saw a big beast with yellow glowing eyes and wings.
"What are you?" Arkayna asked before getting knocked down by a tail.
Arkayna quickly rolls out of the way before it could smash her with its claws and transform into the Dragon Mage, fending off the beast and blast it through the wooden door though the beast was tougher and came back striking her down and grabs her. But then Leo in his Mysticon Wind Ninja mode firing two magic arrows on the back focusing it to drop Arkayna and charges in with a drop kick to the face making it stumble back to the edge of the balcony.
"Together!" Arkayna said and they unleash their magic blast to knock the beast off the balcony.
They quickly went to see that the monster has landed on another building across the street and disappear from sight.
"What was that?" Leo asked.
"I don't know, but we better tell the others." Arkayna said.
(Mysticon Lair)
Leo and Arkayna called the others telling them about what just happened to Arkayna.
"This beast just attacked you out of nowhere?" Splinter asked.
"Yeah, and the strangest thing is that it felt personal." Arkayna said as she picked up a cup of hot coco with marshmallows offered by Donnie.
"I wish I could have been there." Emerald felt bad for not being there.
"Me too! I'm so mad right now!" Piper angered.
"Right behind on the mad, sister!" Mikey agreed, growling a bit.
"But your silky hair makes me happy." Piper stroked onto Arkayna's hair.
"Ah, so soft." Mikey sighed smiling.
"Will you two take this seriously." Raph shoved Mikey and Piper away from Arkayna.
"I just heard." Zarya rushed into the scene.
"Don't worry, Arkayna, we're going to find this thing and get you a little eye for an eye." Zarya promised.
"Hey, anyone seen Choko around?" Piper asked looking around.
"Weird, he would be here with all of us having these sorts of meetings." Mikey said as the two-start looking for Choko.
"I know you two might still be a little jumpy from the attack, but do either of you member what it looked like?" Malvaron asked.
"It was dark, but I do remember most of its appearance. It had big eyes and it was glowing yellow, big claws, a strong tail, and wings." Leo mentioned about the beast.
"Here Choko, I want to see those big eyes and cute little claws!" Piper called out.
"I want to feel your tail on my arm and feel those wing-like ears of yours!" Mikey said cheerfully.
Hearing the two talks about Choko's features has cause the guilt inside Zarya to climb up as she looks back at Arkayna and Leo's Codex thinking about that revenge spell might not have been a dud after all, and Splinter notice the worry look on her face.
"Zarya, you look trouble. Perhaps there is something you wish to tell us right now." Splinter said.
"Yes, Master Splinter… There is." Zarya said giving in to the guilt.
Zarya explain to everyone that last night she tried using a spell from Leo and Arkayna's Codex to get revenge on Mathis though it didn't work at first, but now they realize the spell may have worked and Choko is more involve with it.
"Do you have any idea how dangerous it was to try to cast a spell from these pages?" Malvaron asked as he looks over at the revenge spell to see if there's a way to undo it.
"I'm starting to get a sense of it." Zarya exclaimed.
"Sis, you turned Choko into a literally revenge monster that is out to get everyone you want payback from your list." Raph pointed out a little angry.
"Dang, talk about a Jekyllus and Hyderon scene!" Mikey commented.
"Yeah, just what I was thinking." Malvaron agreed.
"Poor Choko!" Piper worried.
"And obviously I'm still on her list because the beast attacked me." Arkayna glared at Zarya.
"Huh, that beast also looked like it was gonna go after me too." Leo mentioned.
"Okay, I may have added you two." Zarya handed Arkayna her list as she sees it.
"Leo, you're on my list because of how annoying you talk about that space show." Zarya revealed.
"What? Em is on this list too!" Arkayna shocked.
"What? Did I do something wrong? Oh, my goblin, I am super sorry." Emerald apologized.
"You say sorry for everything." Zarya said.
"Well, there's no way we're on the list. BOYIE" Mikey believed as he and Piper hugs Zarya, but she rolled her eyes away in silence which they caught on.
"We're on the list!" Piper and Mikey gasped.
"Piper, you get your pixie dust everywhere." Zarya said before coughing up the dust.
"And Mikey, that weird word you've been saying is annoying that I never want to hear it again." Zarya expressed making Mikey feel sad.
"There's also with Donnie talking too much science, and Raph has always one-up to the fridge." Zarya mentioned the others.
"Well, nice to know we matter." Raph said.
"Zarya, while there are ways of expressing your anger. It is never wise to use them onto each other to feel satisfy because it will end up the opposite, especially with lying to your friends can serious consequences to your revenge like now." Splinter lectured.
"We better go find him fast, the spell makes him transform permanently." Donnie feared.
"Right, I'll work on that antidote." Malvaron said getting his potion equipment set up.
"Come everyone, it's magic hour!" Arkayna declared as they leave the room except for Zarya.
"Try asking yourself this, "Am I a better person with a strong heart" and you will know." Splinter advised.
"Thanks, Master Splinter." Zarya thanked before following the others.
(Somewhere in Drake City)
The Mysticons have split up into pair trying to search for Choko, we see Zarya and Raph searching in one area though the Mysticon Ranger is looking a little exhausted.
"You okay there, Z?" Raph asked.
"Yeah, totally fine." Zarya groaned a bit.
"Look, I know it's hard holding back your anger to get back at someone but take it from me that it is not always a good thing." Raph stated making Zarya smiled.
"And besides, the whole with me beating you to the fridge to get the snacks. I actually had them in my pocket before we even race." Raph confessed.
"Wait, so you cheated?" Zarya shocked.
"Okay, I may have deserved that." Raph shrugged.
"YOU CHEATED!" Zarya shouted in an eerie voice of rage, and her eyes glow yellow.
"Whoa, Zarya?" Raph surprised.
Then he become shocked when he saw Zarya transforming into the revenge beast right in front of him.
"Wait, when Zarya did the spell, it wasn't Choko that got turned. It was you!" Raph realized.
The revenge beast Zarya charges at Raph with a claw slash attack as he dodges over and behind her, but the now monster girl back swing attack that sent him off the roof and fell into an alleyway very close to the others.
"Raph, what happened?" Leo asked.
"Good news, we found Choko!" Mikey pointed at Choko being held by Piper.
"Now he won't be a revenge beast." Piper smiled.
"Great, great, except for one thing… Choko isn't the revenge beast, Zarya is!" Raph alerted and they gasp.
They look up to see the revenge beast Zarya growling at them.
"Malvaron, come in! Zarya is actually the beast! We need that antidote now." Arkayna informed.
"I'm gonna need ten more minutes." Malvaron said.
"You got two!" Leo said before they chase after the monster Zarya.
They fought off Zarya as much as they can though the monster Zarya is tough and strong fighting against all of them, Donnie tries to knock her unconscious with the back of his axe but the tail smack him away.
"Where's Malvaron with that antidote?" Raph asked.
"Antidote! Get your red-hot antidote!" Malvaron entered the scene riding on Izzie.
"Here, I made three doses." Malvaron handed them the doses.
"Let's hope we only need one." Leo said.
"Come on, I'll fire my arrows into lines so you guys can help retrain her." Leo said before started running around to fire his magic arrows over Zarya.
The six Mysticons quickly grab the magic arrow lines from each side and pull them hard to keep the monster Zarya down a little and Leo jump onto her back to hold her by the neck.
"Zarya, I'm sorry for all the hair flicking, but not this time." Arkayna charged at Zarya.
Arkayna jump and spin around to flick her hair at Zarya in the face making her roar loud which also made her mouth wide open for the Dragon Mage to force the antidote into her mouth, the monster groans and within seconds transformed back into Zarya.
"Uh, what happened?" Zarya asked feeling a slight pain in the head.
"Let just say you were more of a monster than you realize." Raph chuckled, confusing Zarya.
The next day at the under city, Mathis tried to bother Zarya again like before though Zarya just shrug it off remembering Master Splinter's advice learning to be the bigger person, and Mathis got his underwear expose by Arkayna as a little help. But she got sick when eating the snorgballs raw.

Well, the Revenge Monster of Zarya would have gotten away with it if her caring friends hadn't come to save her from herself, and Zarya has now learn about not letting others get to her like Mathis.
