Pigeon Message for a Monkey Search

"Cheers!" The four Mysticon girls and April clapped their cups of soda together.

"Whoa, be careful! You're getting our drinks on the counter!" Emerald worried as they're making a mess of the restaurant, they're eating in as she cleans the spills with her napkin.

"Girl, come on. We're not little babies anymore. We can handle cleaning ourselves up and the chef/owner doesn't' have to worry about." Zarya smirked.

"Just trying to be polite." Emerald stated before finishing up the cleaning.

"Oh! I can smell that dinner coming along nicely! Can wait to get it in my belly!" Piper excited with the sniff of the tasty smell in the air.

"Let's be sure to bring some back to the guys, I think they're going the love "pizza" style the chef just invented." Arkayna smiled.

"Order up!" The chef announced as he brings the plate of delicious and steamy dumplings.

"Here you are girls, five orders of my newly famous pizza gyoza as they will become to your liking." The chef said with a respectful bow.

"Thank you for the food!" The five girls prayed before eating the dumplings.

Once they have taken their first bite, all five girls become very enchanted from the amazing taste of this new dish that has been served to them as they never thought something like this could happen, the dish is even making them feel like they have died and gone to heaven only to come back alive as they let out a sigh.

"Wow!" They said smiling together.

"Haha, another success for Murakami-san!" Murakami cheered for himself.

"I still can't believe you can put pizza into these little things, and they taste amazing just like the real pizza!" Zarya commented as she took another bite.

"Just? Girl, I hate to say this, but this could be even better than pizza!" Piper cheered as she threw two of the dumplings in the air and caught both in her moth.

"Well done, you have a knack for catching things in her mouth." Murakami clapped his hand, even though he's facing almost away from Piper.

"How'd you know? You weren't even looking at me?" Piper asked.

"That's because the man is actually blind. But blind that disability, he was able to become a great chef to open his own noodle shop here in Drake City." April explained with compliments.

"Yes, it was hard at first, but I never gave up and hoped for the best." Murakami nodded.

"How did you come up with the idea of pizza gyoza in the first place?" Arkayna asked curious.

"Well, the unexpected happen when I was just doing my usually cooking and running my restaurant. A delivery boy came bursting through the door when he was in a hurry to make his delivery, only to end up spilling some of the pizza ingredients he was carrying into my dumplings." Murakami explained.

"Guess the dude ended up delivering a new success for you." Emerald commented.

"I didn't know until a costumer tasted the dumpling and say it was more amazing than the usual foods I make here, I tasted myself discovering that new world of flavors." Murakami nodded.

"Bet the delivery boy didn't realize the big help he was." Arkayna giggled.

"He was, which is why I always ordered the pizza ingredients from him whenever I'm about to run out." Murakami mentioned before getting back to work.

"Thanks again for hanging out with me for a Girls' Night Out. I've always wanted to do this for a long time." April thanked her friends.

"We're glad you invited us; I think we needed this since we've been hanging out with the boys too much." Arkayna stated.

"Yeah, even I need a break from Mikey every once and a while, and he would feel the same." Piper pointed out before drinking her soda.

"I also thought this would be a great way for you girls to relax from your "jobs" throughout the days." April explained her reason for coming here.

"Well, you definitely picked the right day to give us kick back and relax." Zarya grinned.

"Right, now let's enjoy ourselves to the fullest!" Arkayna declared and the girls cheered with her.

Sometime later, the girls finish having their meals and are walking together to the next place they decided to go before heading home to continue their Girls' Night Out, along with the takeout of the pizza gyoza for the guys to try.

Unknown to them, there is something looking down at the girls from a tall building with big, weird eyes.

"And that's how Mikey was able to convince the Ringmaster to open a tent for skateboarding." Piper finished explaining the story of their days back in the circus as they laugh.

"Seriously? I can't believe he went through all that for skateboarding." Zarya laughed.

"Guess even Mikey has his own dedicated ambition when he puts his mind to it." Arkayna commented.

"If only he could stick that focus on training." Zarya mocked a little.

"He can focus when you put a pizza in front of his face, and he'll do it no time flat." Piper revealed the trick which the girls already know by now.

But then Zarya felt something odd from her head like an instinct is telling her that trouble is coming to the Mysticon group.

"You know, this reminds of this one time" Emerald was about to tell them a story of Donnie, but Zarya stops her.

"Guys, don't move." Zarya said.

"What's going on, did you notice something off?" Arkayna asked, getting her guard up.

"I'm not a hundred percent sure, but I get the feeling that we're being watch." Zarya informed as she looks left and right with her eyes.

"What? A stalker on our Girls' Night Out?!" Piper gasped.

"Okay, I think one of you need to get ugly to drive the stalker away." Piper suggested without hesitation.

"What?!" The girls gasped looking angry at Piper.

"Well, I couldn't have been me since I'm only 109 years old even though I am really cute." Piper shrugged.

April was about to give Piper a piece of her mind, she felt something odd in her head that is telling her that something is coming at them fast and about to tackle them down.

"Get down!" April tackled her friends down to dodge something big that flew by and over them.

The strange creature flew into the air then starts circling around for the girls again as they quickly get back up.

"What in the goblin toes is that thing?" Emerald asked shock.

"I don't know, but I'm already not liking it!" Arkayna glared at the flying thing.

"Let's run to find you girls cover to transform, I'll try to keep it busy in the meanwhile!" April suggested as she points at an alleyway.

"Okay, let's go with that." Arkayna nodded.

The five girls started running together into the alleyway with the flying creature chasing them being careful with flying in close spaces between the buildings of the alleyway, April looks back trying to get a better look at what is that thing exactly though the running is making it really hard.

"Hey, I saw a hole to a sewer!" Piper pointed at the manhole.

"You're not suggesting we go down there to transform? It sinks!" Arkayna complained.

"Leo and Donnie were willing to do that when they tried catching those jewel robberies before." Emerald pointed out.

"Plus, it's not so bad as long as you don't touch the dirty water." Zarya advised.

"Even I know that." Piper said.

"That'll do. Go!" April pulled out a magic taser gun to shoot lightning bullets at the flying creature.

The four Mysticon girls decided to go for it as Arkayna used her magic to lift the manhole for the others to jump in, though Arkayna groans from the awful smell.

"Hey, you want to peck at something? Come and peck me!" April fired more lightning bullets at the flying creature.

The flying creature dodges the bullets though it seems like the flying creature was really scared of the shoots almost hitting it, but then it flies down toward April as she run though trip causing her to fall.

The flying creature was about to get her only for the manhole to suddenly burst straight up from a magic blast hitting the creature's lower half causing it to lose balance during flight and crash into a wall over April.

"Looks like you're ground!" April pointed her gun at the flying creature, but then looking at its eyes is giving her a ease of fear and goodness though not sure why.

"Thanks for holding it off, we'll take it from here." Ranger smirked readying to fire a magic arrow blast.

"No wait, I don't think it was trying to hurt us." April stopped Zarya.

"What makes you say that?" Dragon Mage asked.

"I don't know exactly, I just felt it isn't a bad creature or anything worst." April said, a little confused of herself as well.

"Is that true mister flying creature?" Striker asked.

"Yes, yes, I promised I mean you no harm!" The flying creature promised nodding.

"Then start talking of why you've been following us—I mean following this girl and her friends." Ranger demanded.

"I was only following them because I was trying to deliver to message to April O'Neil." The flying creature answered, scared of Ranger's approach.

"A message for me?" April surprised.

"Yes, from your father." The flying creature nodded.

"My father! He's alive!" April gasped and grabbing the flying creature shaking him.

"Careful, you're going to shake my feathers off!" The flying creature said feeling a bit dizzy from all this shaken.

"Sorry. It's just been a long while since I last heard from my father." April stopped shaking the flying creature.

"Looks like we can be at ease thanks to you Mister…" Emerald paused for the flying creature to give them his name.

"Pete, my name is Pete and I'm a pigeon." Pete introduced himself.

Pete is somewhat a humanoid with a giant pigeon head and legs. He seems to have several strange mutagenic blue-green growths all over his body. His arms have large wing feathers that somehow grant him flight. He also has large sharp talons.

"You're a pigeon?" Ranger asked looking weirdly at the guy now called Pete.

"Yes, well, I… I used to be a normal pigeon." Pete looked very sad as he looks at himself.

"Used to be, what happened to make you look like… this?" Dragon Mage asked, feeling a little disgusted of Pete's appearance.

"I'm not really sure exactly, all I remember that I was just doing normal pigeon stuff until I was suddenly taken away by these weird men in black suits and some were also robots with brain creatures inside." Pete answered.

"The Kraang!" The girls gasped.

"Yes, that's what they were called! They brought me into their lab and pour this weird ooze thing on me." Petep explained.

"Oh, you poor thing. I am sorry such a tragic fate has fallen upon you and losing what you make you a pigeon." Knight hugged Pete.

"Wow, I never had a hug like that before! Most people would just ignore us and feed us bread." Pete surprised.

"Mysticon Knight is like that." Dragon Knight explained.

"Wait, Mysticon Knight? Then that would mean you guys are the Mysticons!" Pete realized shock.

"That's us, all for helping the people and the creatures no matter what!" Strike smiled.

"I just remember that I also have a message for you as well! Though I was kind of expecting the full Mysticon team." Pete noticed there are only half of them here.

"We were on Girls' Night Out." Knight explained.

"So, you got a message for us? We can pass it on to the others when we get back to our secret hideout." Dragon Mage asked.

"Oh yes, that would be wonderful than suddenly showing up at your place. Wouldn't want to scare them like I did with you guys." Pete agreed.

Zarya looked at the pigeon man for two seconds and then let out a loud burst of laughing while holding her stomach.

"Dude, how the Hell would people even be scared of a goofy idiot like you!" Ranger mocked laughing that hurt Pete a bit.

"Hey, I know I'm not good looking to most of your humans and other races, but I'm a good looker to the other birds." Pete proclaimed crossing his arms.

"Sure, keep telling yourself that." Ranger laughed a bit more, but then got a smack on the head by April.

"Hey!" Ranger confused.

"Just one more question, how exactly did you know my father in the first place. Was he in the same lab where you were experimented on?" April asked.

"That's right, it was in that lab where I met your father being prisoned in that place." Pete nodded.

"Are the Kraang doing anything bad to him?" April asked.

"While we're on the subject, were there also other people like scientist being held prisoners too?" Dragon Mage asked too.

"I think so, I did hear other people's voices in there along with your father and it was him who helped me get out of there." Pete mentioned.

"We better get those guys while the going is good." Ranger stated.

"We will, but I believe April would like to hear this message now." Dragon Mage said smiling at April who nods.

"Here, your father was able to record this while making sure the Kraang wouldn't notice." Pete handed April a magic mirror-like tablet as she turns it on playing the message.

"April, if you're seeing this message that means you're alive and you now know I'm doing okay… for now. This message is to warn you that something terrible is about to happen. I don't know what exactly except that involves their mutagen and it's extremely important that you get out of the city as soon as you can. Save yourself. Remember, I love you." Kirby said in his message.

"I love you too, daddy." April hugged the tablet as the scene now reveals her and the girls back in the hideout showing this message to the boys and their mentors as Donnie place a hand on her shoulder.

"And you're sure this Pete guy didn't know anything of what Mr. O'Neil was talking about?" Leo asked.

"Yeah, the guy was just confused and only delivering the message like any other pigeons." Akrayna answered.

"Did you give him breadcrumbs as a reward?" Mikey asked while eating the pizza gyoza the girls brought back.

"That's why we're back, he's waiting for us up top to give him the breadcrumbs." Piper mentioned.

"He also said that he wanted to take us to meet this scientist with an emergency that he wants our help with." Emerald explained.

"Hmm, it would seem this mission may be troublesome for you all to face." Splinter stated.

"Trouble? Sensei, I think you're forgetting who're the big heroes here and the many times we have taken down bad guys." Raph smirked.

"But you do not know what you are facing. It'd be wise to be cautious and do well to study your enemies before confronting them." Splinter said.

"Oh come on, Sensei. I've been fighting the Kraang for a while and we've been beating them so far." Arkayna pointed out.

"What you know is dangerous to your enemy. What you think you know is dangerous to you. I fear you are all becoming overconfident." Splinter stated.

"Or we could be just that good." Leo smirked.

"It's Magic Hours, Mysticons!" Leo commanded and the team leaves.

"Something tells me that lesson is going to hit them the hard way." Malvaron sighed.

(Rooftop)

A man wearing a lap coat is pacing himself around the rooftop of a building until he saw Pete with the Mysticons.

"Mysticons! I'm so grateful that you came!" The man smiled.

"What's your emergency, sir?" Wind Ninja asked.

"My name is Victor Falco, and I need you help to get back my precious pet monkey who was taken away by these weird man in black suits and emotionless expression." Victor explained.

"The Kraang!" Forest Ninja and Strike said together angry.

"But why would they want a monkey?" Fire Ninja asked.

"The monkey is our great science project of giving one the ability to read the minds of others and we were on a breakthrough, but those Kraang men came in taking our monkey and my old friend Dr. Rockwell tried to stop him only to be…" Victor paused of the memory as the Mysticons get the idea.

"I fear they will use the mind reading experiment to do great evil, you must stop them and bring me back our monkey!" Victor pleaded.

"Don't worry, the Mysticons will take care of the Kraang unite you with the monkey." Knight promised.

"Thank you, you're all too kind." Victor relieved and turned around to ride an evil smile.
