Escaping to Stop More Evil Deeds
The big monkey screams very loudly that causes the three Mysticons in the room to cover their ears as the screeching is hurting them a bit.
"Way to ruin someone's nap time, Forest Ninja." Knight yelled.
"What? I can't hear you! I think I interrupted his nape time." Forest Ninja guessed.
"We need to calm him down, and lucky for you guys, I know just the way to calm him down." Striker smiled as she walks over to the monkey.
"Oh, you energetic bundle of joy! The fun we had today was the most amazing and loving time I could ever ask for, but now the fun has come to an end and time for your soul to rest." Striker sang a peaceful lullaby song that started to slowly work on the monkey.
"Time to sleep, sleep, and sleep some more until the sun rises again to begin a new day of playtime! But worry not, you will always have sweet dreams of wonderful things you always love to do! So sleepy, sleepy, sleepy soundly, little one because you'll always have more than you know!" Striker continued singing as the monkey started to calm down more and his eyes slowly closing.
Knight is surprised to see that Striker is actually singing very well to calm the monkey beast while Forest Ninja smiles with memories of hearing that song as a kid.
"Let your soul rest to have more fun time until the next day." Striker finished the song, and the monkey is fast asleep.
"Nice work, Strike." Knight smiled.
"Dang girl, I haven't heard you sing that lullaby since we were kids." Forst Ninja said.
"I know. To be honest, I didn't think the song would work since he wasn't you, but it looks like my little gamble paid off." Striker smiled.
"Glad it did, otherwise we would have a room full of Kraang by now." Forest Ninja nodded.
It took Mystic Knight a few seconds to work on the locks that are keeping the monkey on the operating table, and now the cuffs have come undone meaning they can take the monkey away.
"Come on, let's get this guy away from this awful place." Striker said.
"Hopefully he's not too heavy to carry." Forest Ninja cracked his fingers and stretched his arms.
Forest Ninja grabs onto the arms of the monkey to start carrying him on his shell though it was a bit difficult to lift the monkey from the table, and then he finally got the monkey off and onto his table only to feel the weight causing the ninja Mysticon to fall onto the floor.
"Okay, maybe he's heavier than I thought." Forest Ninja exclaimed with one finger up.
"Looks like we're gonna have to carry him together." Knight said, hoping three Mysticons will be enough.
"Why don't we use your mech suit? It'll be easier." Striker suggested.
"But the footsteps would be too loud to sneak away and could also alert the Kraang." Knight pointed out the big flaw in that plan.
"I'm sure we'll be fine, it's not like there's one Kraang outside right now." Forest Ninja shrugged and opens the door, not noticing a Kraang soldier right outside.
Striker and Knight softly gasp in horror that they have just been caught because Forest Ninja had to open the door trying to prove his point.
"What?" Forest Ninja confused of why the girls are looking like they are freaking out right now.
That is until Forest Ninja finally turns around to see the Kraang and he gasps too, and the Kraang reacted by pointing its gun at the enemies, but Forest Ninja quickly slashes the gun away and kicked the Kraang hard onto a wall.
Forest Ninja quickly drag the Kraang back into the room and threw the alien into the room that the crash got the monkey to wake up again and saw the metal face of the Kraang.
And the monkey suddenly went on a crazy fit of rage to start beating up the Kraang robot by slamming it onto the floor and pulling the pink squid alien out to beat it up even more than its robot suit.
"Wow, is it just me or does he look angrier at the Kraang than he was woke up the first time?" Forest Ninja asked.
"Huh, that actually gives me an idea." Striker grinned.
"Does it involve something crazy that will also set the alarms off?" Knight asked with a deadpan face.
"Yes, yes, it does." Striker nodded.
"The others are not gonna like this." Knight shook her head.
"Guys! Guys! You're never going to believe what I just found out about the Kraang's plan!" Mountain Ninja panicked into the room.
"Oh hey, you found the monkey." Mountain Ninja surprised.
(With Wind Ninja's Group)
"Okay, should be open… now!" Wind Ninja smiled as he finally got the wires connected to open Kirby's door.
"Thank you, now let's get out of here." Kirby thanked.
Suddenly they heard a loud screeching noise that sounded very close to them.
"Was that an angry screech of a monkey?" Kirby asked, scratching his head a little.
"I think that's the monkey Dr. Falco mentioned." Dragon Mage said.
"Dr. Falco? As in Victor Falco?" Kirby asked.
"Guys, guys! You're never going to believe what we just found out!" Mountain Ninja shouted as he runs toward the other Mysticons and Kirby with the ones keeping the monkey close to them behind.
"Oh my, that is one big monkey!" Kirby surprised to see the big monkey with them.
"Don't worry, he's friendly as long as you don't upset him or think of any bad thoughts about him." Striker advised.
"I rather listen to the dork who was about to tell us about the Kraang's plan." Fire Ninja insulted, but Mountain Ninja didn't have time to care about that right now.
"The Kraang have planted a mutagen bomb downtown. They're gonna use it to disperse ooze over half the city!" Mountain Ninja informed, then notice April's dad.
"Oh, hey Mr. O'Neil. Your daughter is really nice." Mountain Ninja greeted.
"Thank you, she's been telling some interesting things about you." Kirby said.
"Oh, well, she has been a big help to us." Mountain Ninja chuckled, Knight grins and pointed her thumb at her brother while looking at Kirby.
"Talk more later, let's move!" Wind Ninja said as they started running.
The monkey saw one metal head of the robot Kraang which got the monkey to throw another rage attack to smash the head in and ended up slamming that head right into a button that activated the alarm system.
"Does that monkey actually have anger issues more than Fire Ninja?" Ranger asked shock.
"Even I'm impress." Fire Ninja smirked.
"Let's go already!" Dragon Mage pointed out there's going to be lots of Kraang coming at any minute now.
The whole group ran through the hallway to make their way to the escape route where April is waiting for them with the rope, and then some Kraangs have spotted the heroes and try shooting them.
"Oh great, just what we need." Ranger glared at the Kraang.
"Don't worry, our monkey friend got this." Forest Ninja smirked.
"Sick them, buddy!" Striker shouted and pointed at the mean Kraang.
The monkey shouted in rage then charges at the Kraang while dodging each and every laser blast almost like the monkey knew where they were going to shoot before they could even do it, and the monkey wasted no time wasting away the Kraang while the Mysticons and Kirby watch on.
"I only heard about how monkeys attack when they get angry, but this is a bit more than what they say." Kirby commented.
"I'm surprise the monkey hasn't started hitting them with poop." Knight said.
"Stop! Stop this inappropriate hitting of the stinky substances that is known as poop!" One Kraang begged.
"And there it is." Ranger smirked.
"April!" Dragon Mage called out.
"Guys, is my dad with you?" April asked.
"I'm here, April." Kirby answered.
"Look out, more Kraang are coming." Mountain Ninja alerted as several more Kraang robots came in and try to shoot them down.
"Knight, put up a forcefield around us so we can escape." Dragon Mage ordered.
"Hold on, we need to get the monkey too!" Strike jumped into the fray and right next to the monkey.
"Hey buddy, we found a way to escape this place. You want to go outside, right?" Striker pointed at the escape hatch on the ceiling.
The monkey looks at the hole in the ceiling almost like he was able to understand most of what Mysticon Striker just said, and the monkey also feels something coming from there that is telling him to come.
The monkey pounded his chest for a second and went off to the hole and jumps up all the way to the roof that spook April a bit.
"April, throw down the rope!" Fire Ninja shouted.
Mysticon Knight didn't waste any more time to bring out the forcefield around them keeping the Kraangs from getting closer to them nor the blast hurting them too.
"You first, Mr. O'Neil." Mountain Ninja said and starts climbing.
"But what's to stop those guys from coming after us?" Forest Ninja asked.
"Don't worry, I put in a self-destruct feature in the forcefield to burst a MEMP (Magic Electric Magnetic Pulse) to cause this entire lair to blackout." Knight informed.
"Great, that means they won't be able to chase us when they'll be too busy to get their lair back up and running." Mountain Ninja impressed with the idea.
"Thanks, now let's hurry because we only have ten seconds until the bomb go off!" Knight warned as everyone quickly went up the rope.
And once all the Mysticons and Kirby are out of the building, the MEMP bomb of the forcefield went off shutting down everything within the lair and making everything do dark including the Kraang's robot suits.
"Dad!" April hugged her father who hugs her back.
"I miss you so much!" April confessed.
"I miss you too, sweetie. I'm really glad to be back with you." Kirby smiled, felt truly happy to be with her daughter again.
"I bet my sister was worried about me too." Kirby said.
"She is, but she wouldn't say it out loud." April chuckled.
"Excuse, sorry to ruin the reunion moment, but we need to leave now to stop the bomb from going off." Dragon Mage mentioned.
"You girls and guys go on, and we'll also look after the monkey while you're at it so you can return him to Falco." April nodded and offered to monkey sit too.
"Thanks, April. You're the best." Mountain Ninja smiled under his mask.
"I know I am." April smiled back.
The Mysticons ran off to stop the bomb from going off, leaving the father and daughter O'Neil with the monkey.
"Well, guess we'll be spending some time together, but fella." Kirby tried to be friendly with the monkey, but the monkey almost went crazy on him.
"Whoa, whoa, it's okay. Nobody is gonna hurt you, not anymore. I promise." April promised in a calm and peaceful tone as she reaches her hand out to the monkey.
That was when April started to have the weird feeling again just like earlier when the Mysticons went inside the lair, it was also when she realizes that this monkey was the one trying to call out for help before too and she gentle stroke the monkey's hair as he hums calmly.
"Wow, April, I didn't know you have ways with animals." Kirby amazed.
"Either did I, it was almost like I can feel what the monkey is feeling right now, and I just became calm for him." April said, looking at the monkey believing that it's still scared probably caused by the Kraang.
"Huh, interesting." Kirby said to himself, getting a gut feeling that there is something more to this than meets the eye.
(Drake City Downtown, Werewolf Hotel)
At the top of Werewolf Hotel, one of the greatest hotel establishments in Drake City that is about 25 stories high, is the large mutagen bomb guarded by several Kraangs so they don't want anything to go wrong with their plan.
"Kraang, in how many time units known as minutes will the device containing the mutagen that will be spread over the place known as Drake City, be detonated?" One Kraang soldier asked.
"Five." The other Kraang soldier answered, right before the head got blasted by a magic arrow.
That is when the Kraang realizes that intruders have come to stop the bomb, but they were easily removed by the Mysticons of their ninja training stealth and magic to knock them away.
"Ranger, any sign of more Kraang?" Dragon Mage asked.
"No, everything is all cleared out." Ranger informed.
"Alright, Mountain Ninja, it's up to you and Knight." Wind Ninja said.
The mechanic siblings quickly found the compound where the wires of the bomb should be here as the turtle brother rips it open, but their eyes widen with shock when they saw what was inside.
"Uh-Oh." They said at the same time.
"What did you two means by that? I thought you two knew how to do this sort of thing!" Dragon Mage winced.
"Well, didn't think the design would be complex." Knight shrugged nervously.
"They're aliens from another dimension, nerd knight! Did you think it was gonna be easy?" Ranger argued.
"Of course not, I was"
"Boy, I sure hope this argument goes on for another 4 minutes and 15 seconds." Fire Ninja said sarcastically, reminding them of what they're here to do. And smack both Donnie and Emerald in the head.
Mountain Ninja and Knight take a really good look at the wires and metal parts of the compound while sweating like pigs, they weren't entirely sure if they can really diffuse the bomb despite combining their skills, but they were going to try.
"Be careful with the wires." Dragon Mage said.
"We know." Knight said, looking back with a slight glare.
The two try to decide on what to start on first, but their situation isn't helping with their friends breathing down their necks to make the pressure feel more unbearable than it already is.
"Have you tried that wire?" Wind Ninja asked.
"We cannot work under all this pressure!" Mountain Ninja yelled.
But then they hear a growl sounding very close.
"That might be problem." Wind Ninja said.
Everyone turns to see that it's Razhor and his Foot Ninjas, all ready to battle the Mysticons and let them fail the city they have sworn to protect as their life will end as well.
"I hope you're ready for death." Razhor smirked.
"There won't be any death on our watch!" Forest Ninja shouted.
"Hey, nice counter." Wind Ninja complimented.
"Thanks, it just came to me." Forest Ninja smiled.
"Attack!" Razhor ordered and all the Foot Ninjas charged at the Mysticons.
"Keep them away from the bomb!" Dragon Mage said.
Everyone fight off the ninjas each defeating a few or so either alone or together which didn't matter if Mountain Ninja and Knight can't stop the bomb in time, next came Razhor who let out a vicious howl before attacking the Mysticons who are doing their best to fight him off.
"Okay, only two wires left. Which one do we cut?" Knight asked.
"I… I don't know, green or black?" Mountain Ninja asked.
"Maybe black?" Ranger guessed while shooting a few magic arrows at Razhor who dodges them all and slashes his claws at her bow.
"No! Go for Green!" Forest Ninja suggested before quickly pulled his head down when Razhor tries to bite it off.
The two Mysticons who aren't fighting are having a really hard time deciding which wire to cut as there are only ten seconds left on the clock.
"Oh, what the heck." Mountain Ninja sighed and cut the green wire, and the timer stops when it reached 1 second.
"It worked? It workd!" Knight shocked.
"Hey guys, Forest Ninja was right about something!" Mountain Ninja announced before the two join their fellow Mysticons to battle Razhor.
Razhor has done his best to fight against the Mysticons, trying to kill at least one of them but no matter how hard he tried, these damn brats were too good with their teamwork and magic to keep their distance along with good close combat skills.
Then Dragon Mage and Wind Ninja knocked Razhor up and he crashes down onto the ground, he looks up seeing all the Mysticons glaring down at him.
"You lost, Razhor." Wind Ninjua stated.
"Maybe today, but your time will come to feel despair." Razhor claimed before throwing down a smoke bomb to make his escape.
"Quick, after him!" Forest Ninja said.
"Let him go. We already stop the bomb and took out a Kraang lair, I say this day is all good." Dragon Mage believed.
"Wrong, and Master Splinter was worried that we were being overconfident." Wind Ninja smirked as the Mysticons all leave to call it a day, after they drop off the monkey to Falco.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
The Mysticons were able to stop the bomb right after making the two rescue missions a success though the heroes may find out that they might have been overconfident to overlook one thing, or maybe two with a certain someone coming to Drake City.
