for a promp, how about the Sonic Boom Picnic? How did Amy convince Sonic(or maybe Sonic was the one to ask but wanted to act cool about it) to go on it? What happened before Orbot ruined it and after?

"Ahh.. it's such a nice day~" Amy leaned against a beach chair, the one with the umbrella under it as Sonic lay beside her on the next one.
"Wouldn't you just want to spend this day in the sun somewhere nice and warm… and maybe with a perfect view or something… heheh, hey! I think I have a place in mind!" She got nervous around the end, already having predestined the place she wanted to go.
She didn't hear anything and continued to speak. "W-well, I mean, it's just such a nice day!" she smiled up at the sky, "Wouldn't it be a nice change? Oh, come on!" she looked over, "Alright, if it rains, you can gloat! …. AH!"
Sonic was snoring.
"Ugh… every time." she looked so done with life.
Sonic awoke a little while later, seeing a letter on his stomach.
"…hmm?" he blinked a few times, before lazily opening the letter.
It was Amy's doodles, it showed her with one finger up, and then the next panel showed an arrow.
Sonic looked up.
An arrow was posted in a particular direction in front of him.
Raising an eyebrow, the first thing he thought of was, "Oh boy! A treasure hunt!" he kicked his legs up and started following the directions and doodled images.
The next few doodles had Amy holding up fingers for the number of steps he needed to do, and sent him all the way to the picnic set-up, where he stared and looked confused.
"Amy really out did herself this time-…And now I'm just disappointed." he slouched forward.
"Surprise!" Amy jumped out from behind a rock, holding her arms out. "You've found-"
"Treasure!?"
"Me."
"Oh… t-that's good too… I guess." he scratched his head, then gestured to her, before looking a little awkward.
"Is this…?"
"I made us some food! I figured since Tails was busy on his new invention, and Knuckles off body building-"
Quick cut to Knuckles charging for a cliff, and then hurling himself off it, "AHH!" hitting bottom off camera, you heard, "Alright! Totally ripped!"
cut back to Amy- "That maybe we could have a small picnic and enjoy this wonderful weather we're having!" she rocked on her heels, before quickly pulling out some food, and offering him some. "Come on! It's gluten free, organic, shipped straight from a country that can't afford preservatives, just for you and me, food!"
"You had me on food." Sonic walked over, shrugging off the fact that there wasn't any treasure, and just flopped down on his side, beginning to eat.
A while later, after having already eaten some of the chocolate cake, which definitely tasted funny, he looked over to see Amy handing him some eggsalad.
He gave her some look like- 'really?' but inside, he was just smiling at how calm she looked.
She looked happy.
Being with him? Or eating?
Must be the eating part… he was happy to eat too.
..Though… he'll admit…
He took another quick glance towards Amy, seeing her carefully eat her food.
…He smiled.
It was nice to have company.
Suddenly, rain set in.
"Rain!" Amy exclaimed.
He narrowed his eyes, 'Great…' he got up and circled the picnic, saving it and dashing off, Amy racing with him.
When the rain dissipated, Amy looked sad that she had the rest of the picnic in a dark gloomy cave.
"This is terrible.." she cried out, leaning her head up, "I just wanted to enjoy the sun…." she tilted her head to the side.
When she didn't hear a response from Sonic, she pouted again, "Why aren't you complaining that our picnic was ruined?"
She blinked open her eyes.
He had a hand holding his head up, laying across the blanket again, another leg up, and fast asleep with little breaths.
She sighed, before giggling and leaning over to him.
"I guess it wasn't a huge bust…" she lowered her head and watched him sleep for a moment….
"Yikes, I am a little creepy…" she leaned back up, shaking herself out of it. "He just looked so peaceful… a fully belly and a calming scenery… of course he'd get a little sleepy!" she yawned herself.
Smacking her lips, she slowly laid down too, having the basket between the two.
"Maybe… I'll take a little nap too…" she smiled, before slowly drifting off to sleep.
She awoke with blurry eyes, and rubbed them, before looking down and realizing she was now laying in Sonic's hammock, inside his home.
"W-when did I..?" she looked around, before seeing a note on his counter.
She walked over and picked it up.
The first doodle had Sonic waking up in fright at seeing Amy sleeping by him.
She looked away and shook her head, smiling. 'That boy…'
She looked back, the next doodle had him carrying her bridal style.
She blushed slightly. "He could have woken me up…"
The next had him place her in the hammock, after a previous showed her door was locked to her own home.
"One has to be careful to lock before they leave…" Amy explained, sweat-dropping a bit. "Ah! Does this mean Sonic doesn't lock his door?"
The next was him holding a flower, and placing it by the hammock.
She turned around and looked for it. "I.. Don't see a flower?"
She turned back to the note, before putting her hand up to her chest, "Aw!"
It showed him rethinking the flower, and then holding chocolates, but eating those. Then holding a guitar, and second guessing that because she was sleeping. The last showed a note to explain why she was there, and Sonic then pointing to the door.
She grew slightly excited in her curiosity, and moved to the door.
She put a hand over her eyes, still adjusting to the bright and sunny light, before looking down.
She gasped.
"What on earth..!?"
He seemed to have ran through a petal field of sunflowers, and his trampling spelled out, "Thanks for the good time, Amy!"
She laughed, and then put a hand over her mouth, "Awww… You totally just killed all those flowers in cold-murder!" she shifted suddenly, flinging her arms down. "That's not cute, that's destruction of nature! SSSOOONNNICCC!"
…Was she really that angry though?
