No more delays. No more buildups. Yugi, Yuya, and their teammates will now face the first of Noah's Death-T Games! What will it be? All I can say is that it's sure to be a blast!

Yugioh: The Hope of Six

Chapter 15: Kaiba Arc – Part 5

"Got it! We won't fail you!" As soon as the connection with Noah was terminated, the man turned to his three teammates. He was tall and lean, wearing a dark green military uniform. "You heard him! Our targets will be here shortly! Sound off!" He ordered. His squad obediently complied as they slipped on some high tech looking vests and picked up small laser guns.

"Bob McGuire, aka "Black", ready to go!" Said a dark skinned man with a long dark mustache that stretched down to beneath his chin. He wore a darker uniform and sounded eager to get started.

"Zoey Lancaster, codenamed "Blue", ready to go!" Called out a confidant blonde haired woman.

"Zack Bond, "Gray", is at your service." Said the dark haired final man in a much quieter voice. Unlike the others, he dressed in a black suit that didn't seem suited for warfare. Still, their team leader knew better than to underestimate his skills… as well as his other teammates.

"Good! And I, Johnny "Red" Gayle, am leading this charge!" He then turned to the door in front of them. "Once that door opens, its open season for our enemies! Remember our orders and they'll be down in no time! Understood?"

"Yes sir!" They all said loud and clear. Their leader nodded and smiled with anticipation.

"I can feel it. This is gonna be good."

As they rode the elevator to Death T-1, Yugi, Yuya, Joey, Tristan, Tèa, and Serenity all felt angered and disgusted by Noah's actions. None of them could believe he actually shot Mokuba dead. Yuya clinched a fist and hit the wall. "Why? Why didn't we do anything to save Mokuba?!" He shouted in anguish.

"There wasn't anything we could have done, Yuya." Yugi told him, sounding calm despite how he felt.

"Yeah, none of us saw it coming… especially since it was all dark when it happened." Joey added.

"But I thought Aqua had a plan to protect him? What went wrong?" Serenity asked, still very shaken by what she witnessed.

"Maybe she never actually thought Noah would take a shot at him." Tristan guessed. Tèa disagreed.

"Aqua is too smart to make a mistake like that. I feel like we are missing something here." She said.

"Like what?" Yuya asked.

"I don't know, Yuya. I just can't bring myself to believe Aqua would let this happen." She replied, strongly feeling that there had to be more going on that what everyone assumed.

"Aqua said we have to trust her. I still stand by that, despite what Noah did." Yugi said firmly. Somehow, he felt certain that Mokuba's "death" was not what it seemed to be… even though it looked very real.

"One thing's for sure: Noah is definitely out for blood this time around." Joey said ominously. Everyone nodded.

'Yeah… our blood.' Yugi thought, referring to himself, Yuya, Yuzu, and Kaiba. He was positive Noah wanted all of them dead and gone. Mokuba was just the first.

"I too am shocked by Noah's new murderous self. He didn't even hesitate to attack Mokuba when he was vulnerable." Atem added.

'Makes me think what Noah has in mind for us in these Death-T Games of his.' Yugi told him.

"Whatever he has planned, we must be ready." Said the Pharaoh. The good Zarc also gave Yuya his own encouragement.

"Yuya, I know what Noah did was horrible, but blaming yourself won't solve anything. What we can do… is avenge him. After we save your mom and Yuzu's dad, Noah will get the ass kicking he deserves." Yuya didn't reply, but Zarc knew what he was thinking. He then mentioned something else. "Also, don't forget about the Numeron Code. Once we get it and use it to restore the Airship, we can also have it bring back Mokuba."

This actually helped. Yuya prayed more than ever that Ai would get that godlike card and return with it. It may be the only way to get Mokuba back. Until then, he and his friends had to survive this ordeal and save his own loved ones from certain death. Of course, he and the others had no idea it wouldn't be necessary due to the younger Kaiba actually not being dead at all.

Yuya also hoped Yuzu and her group would also be safe and succeed in saving her dad. He hated that he couldn't be with her, and he was sure she was feeling the same. Still, he knew she was strong and she wasn't alone. For now that would have to be enough.

Suddenly, the elevator came to a halt. Yugi and the others then watched as the doors opened to reveal a small room ahead. "Looks like this is our first stop." Tristan said as he and the gang stepped out of the elevator. The other end of the room also had a door marked "Death-T1" in big red letters. As the doors closed behind them, Noah's voice chimed in again.

"Everyone, welcome to Death T-1! Here you will face your first challenge, where I doubt all of you will get through with your lives, let alone without a scratch." He said with a snicker.

"What's your game?" Joey asked, not sounding afraid. To answer his question, the wall on their left slid open to the side and revealed several dark silver vests with a small laser gun for each one.

"The game is Stardust Shootout. Your group will go head to head with an opposing team I put together while wearing those vests. Take a look at your opponents on the screen before you." Noah said as a monitor above them showed a team of four. It compromised of three tough looking men and one blond haired woman who didn't look any better than her teammates. Beneath their pictures were the players' names along with their codenames.

"Yeah, those guys definitely look like the life of a party." Yuya said sarcastically.

"As you can see, the vests each have a small red sensor on them. That is your target. The objective is to shoot the sensors on the opposing team's vests with the blasters provided, doing so will eliminate them from the game. Of course, they will also be gunning for you. The first team to defeat the other wins. If you somehow manage to accomplish that, the door to Death T-2 will show itself. That's all there is to it, now slip on your vests and arm yourselves."

Yugi's group went ahead and put on their vests and took their weapons. "So basically, we're about to play a life or death version of laser tag?" Tèa asked after putting her vest on.

"Looks like it." Yugi said as he looked over his weapon.

"Guys, I've never played laser tag." Serenity said nervously.

"Me neither." Yuya admitted.

"It's fine. I played this sort of game before, so follow my lead. Just stick close to me." Tristan told them. Yuya and Serenity nodded, standing close to him. Yugi, Joey, and Tèa did the same just as the other door opened up. The team all looked at one another before looking ahead.

"Let's do this." Joey said determinedly as they all marched inside…

"Hey Gramps. We're here." Duke called as he walked in his home with Yusho and Pegasus. Solomon Muto came out from his guest room, surprised that he had company. He was especially stunned to see Pegasus himself.

"Yusho?! Pegasus?!" Exclaimed the old man.

"Greetings Solomon." Yusho said kindly.

"Hello to you as well. I know our last encounter was a tad less than friendly, but can we let bygones be bygones?" Pegasus questioned. Although weary at first, Solomon soon came to realize he truly wasn't a threat this time. He nodded.

"I believe we can. But why are you and Yusho here?" He then turned to Duke. "Duke, what's going on? Is something wrong?" The younger man sighed.

"Something's definitely wrong alright." Solomon then became worried about his grandson.

"Is it Yugi?" The trio shook their heads.

"No, Yugi's fine. But Yuya and Yuzu…" After entering the guest room, Yusho painfully told the older man about Noah, his kidnapping of Yoko and Shuzo, and forcing Yugi and his friends to confront him at his deadly game tower. Solomon could not feel more sympathy for him, his son and Yuzu.

"My word. I'm so sorry, Yusho." He said.

"I brought them here to help watch over you." Duke told him. Solomon couldn't believe the situation his grandson and friends were in now. He hoped they would all be okay.

"I appreciate it Duke. Still, I must admit I'm surprised Kaiba decided to bring Mokuba with him. I would've thought he'd want to keep his little brother out of this mess. Why did he take him?"

"He didn't." Mokuba said as he deactivated his hologram cloak, revealing himself to the old man and Duke's great shock.

"Mokuba!?" They both shouted, eyes bulged. The kid smiled.

"It's me!" He said, sounding delighted by their reactions.

"H-How are you here?! I saw you flew off in that helicopter with your brother and the whole gang!" Duke demanded. Mokuba shook his head.

"That wasn't me you saw, Duke. I was in the copter when Seto landed, but no one could see me then. I had gotten off along with Mr. Sakaki and Pegasus. I then followed you guys here."

"You're not making sense. How the heck could you turn invisible? And who or what was that I saw with Kaiba?" Duke inquired further.

"Perhaps I can explain." Aqua replied as she spoke from Yusho's Duel Disk.

"You're here too Aqua?" Solomon asked, surprised even more to have another unexpected guest. After Yusho took out and held up his Disk, the Water Ignis resurfaced.

"I am." She then told him and Duke of the plan she told Kaiba, Mokuba, Yusho, and Pegasus regarding Mokuba's safety. When she was done, Duke turned to the adults that accompanied him.

"How come you didn't tell me after everyone left?" He questioned, feeling annoyed he found out like this.

"We felt that Mokuba shouldn't show himself until after we've arrived here." Yusho said.

"Sorry for the secrecy, but it was all for his protection from Noah." Pegasus added.

"So, only half of you is here?" Duke asked the Ignis after hearing her plan. She shook her head.

"Not anymore. Just before arriving here, I felt my half from the fake Mokuba's Action Disk return to me." She turned to Mokuba. "Apparently, Noah wanted you to come so he could have you murdered." This made everyone gasp in horror. Mokuba was understandably more shaken and disturbed.

"What?! Noah tried to kill me?!" He couldn't believe his stepbrother had become so twisted and evil to even attempt it.

"I'm afraid so. He had struck down your double with a laser shot to the heart. Fortunately, the Action Disk is actually located in the head so it and the hologram weren't compromised."

"Meaning the fake Mokuba is still active?" Yusho asked. Aqua nodded.

"Yes. As long as the Mokuba hologram remains online, Noah won't know he was deceived."

"What about Seto? Is he okay?" Mokuba asked, worried for the life of his older brother.

"Even though I am technically not there anymore, I had made a wireless connection to that Action Disk. Therefore, I can tell what is happening around the Disk's location. I will show you…" Aqua then stared upward and projected a scene from her eyes in front of everyone (which really impressed them). What they saw was Kaiba sitting in a glass container of some kind next to the Mokuba double. He looked more than a little pissed.

"He's alright!" Mokuba said in relief.

"Yes, he is. Although he appears to be a prisoner for the time being." Yusho noted.

"Wait, where's everyone else?" Duke asked, not seeing Yugi or anyone with Kaiba.

"They have separated into two groups in order to find and save Yoko and Shuzo. One group went up the tower, while the other is descending below. I have learned this through audio." Aqua said.

"So now we can't see what's happening to them?" Solomon said, sounding worried again.

"One moment. I should be able to gain access to the tower surveillance without giving myself away. I will check on the group Yugi is a part of first." Aqua told him. A moment later, the scene changed to a new room… one that Yugi and those with him had just entered. Yusho noticed that Yuzu wasn't among them, meaning she must be with the other group.

"At least they're okay. What's going on here?" Pegasus questioned, noticing the group were wearing high tech looking vests and holding laser guns. Aqua gave the obvious and ominous answer.

"I believe we are about to witness the first of Noah's Death-T Games."

/\/\/\/\/\/\

Yugi's group was amazed by their new surroundings. The new room was huge with dark colored walls and two story structures placed placed around certain areas to provide cover and launch sneak attacks from. There was a big circular column in the center that blocked the view up ahead. As soon as they entered, the door behind them slammed shut… which meant no turning back.

"From here on, if you don't fight for your lives… it's game over, permanently!" Noah laughed. "At this time, both teams have now entered the shooting room. Now… begin!" The lights then dimmed until the room was semi dark. They could still see what's in front of them, but not very far. Tristan immediately took command.

"Guys, huddle over here." He motioned to a curved wall on the right. Once they did, Tristan laid out his plan of attack. "Okay, listen up. We don't know anything about the team we're fighting, so we gotta play this smart. I'd say we stick together and wait for them to come to us. That way we won't be picked off one by one." Joey groaned.

"So we're just gonna sit on our butts and hope we get lucky? I ain't got that kind of patience, Tristan! I'll go up high and try to get the drop on them!" He replied and tried to head off without a reply, but Serenity stopped her brother by grabbing his arm.

"No Joey! You'll be an easy target! I don't want to risk losing you!" She told him. Her firm grip on his arm and pleading look in her eyes told Joey she wasn't going to let him go.

"She's right! We can't do anything reckless!" Tèa added admonishingly.

"I'd rather be out there on the move than be a sitting duck here!" Joey argued.

"I doubt you amateurs would survive long either way." Everyone turned to see one of the enemy shooters, "Blue", appear out of nowhere around the corner. She aimed her weapon right at them!

"MOVE!" Tristan yelled as the team scattered to avoid the incoming blast. Yugi, Joey, and Tèa jumped to one side while Yuya, Tristan, and Serenity moved to the other. Tristan rolled onto his feet and tried to fire his own laser, but nothing happened. "What?! It's not firing?!" He complained in disbelief. Blue snickered.

"What's wrong, little man? Your little toy malfunctioning?" She taunted before firing another shot. Serenity managed to pull Tristan down and they both narrowly dodged the majority of the attack. It did however graze Tristan's vest, slightly melting it. This alarmed everyone. If any of them took a direct hit, they'd be dead instantly.

"That was close! Thanks Serenity!" Tristan told the girl gratefully, who nodded.

"No problem." She said.

"Does your gun work?" Tristan asked. Serenity pulled the trigger while aiming at Blue, but no blast came out.

"No it doesn't!" She said in dismay.

"Crap! Nothing! Is anyone's guns working?!" Joey called out, his gun not working either.

"Mine doesn't work at all!" Tèa revealed after trying.

"I can't get mine to fire either!" Yuya confirmed in a seriously worried tone.

When Yugi tried his laser, a blast actually came out, but he missed Blue's sensor when she squatted low to avoid it. "Mine works, but I can't get a clean shot!" Yugi complained as his blasts continued to miss. Blue laughed as she nimbly dodged another blast. She then fired her own weapon at him, but he barely ducked in time.

"How pitiful! Six players but only one working weapon! I think I'll save you for last, little man!" She said as he aimed her weapon at Tèa, intending to take her out.

"No you don't!" Joey yelled as he and Tristan tried to tackle her at once, but she sidestepped and kicked them both in the head. They both hit the ground hard.

"Joey! Tristan!" Serenity yelled. Blue smirked.

"Snot nosed punks. Now for you." She said, concentrating her weapon on Tèa once more. Serenity moved in and tried to wrestle the weapon from her, but Blue shoved her off easily.

"Weakling." She complained before finally firing at Yugi's girlfriend.

"Tèa!" Yugi screamed as he fired his laser again, but Blue dodged it once more. He knew he wouldn't be able to reach Tèa in time. Luckily, he didn't have to.

At the very instant Blue fired, Yuya jumped in between Tèa and the blast. He held his pendent out in front, which caught the laser in reflective barrier of some sort. As it did, the attack rebounded and instead hit Blue squarely in the sensor.

"What the h… AHHHH!" Blue screamed with pain as the vest gave her a great shock before she dropped unconscious to the ground. The gang then regrouped and examined their first downed enemy.

"Is she…?" Serenity asked, afraid that the woman was dead. Tristan knelt down and felt for a pulse. There was.

"She's alive. Just out cold, which surprises me. I thought getting hit by her own lethal weapon would be pretty bad for this chick." He confirmed before turning to the boy responsible. "I guess you reflecting that attack did something to take it's effectiveness down a notch. Nice going, Yuya. I don't know how you did that, but I'm glad it worked." Yuya nodded.

"Me too." He said, smiling.

"Thanks Yuya." Said a very grateful Tèa. Yuya told her he was glad he was able too.

"How did you send Blue's blast right back at her?" Serenity asked.

"And how did you know it would work?" Joey questioned as ditched his useless laser gun and took Blue's fully functional one. Yuya gave a little chuckle.

"Well, uh… it wasn't really that much different when I repelled Zarc's final attack on the Airship. All I did was let my pendent do all the work." No on else could see it, but Yuya saw Zarc gave him a confident wink while smiling.

Yugi felt there was more to it than that, but he didn't pursue it. They still had a game to survive and win. He looked over his own weapon, and saw that the voltage setting was as high as it could go. Yugi feared this when he saw how Blue's weapon worked. All his shots were intentional misses so that he wouldn't risk killing Blue (though he still believed she would've been able to dodge them anyway). He didn't have time to adjust it while he was busy trying to protect his girlfriend from being shot at. He felt more comfortable now as he lowered the settings just enough to affect the vest sensors. He made sure Joey did the same.

"Okay, one enemy player down and we got two working laser guns now! Our odds just got a lot better!" Joey cheered.

"Don't get ahead of yourself, Joey. There are still three more guys out there and I'm willing to bet they are just as dangerous as she is." Serenity said cautiously, pointing at Blue. The others agreed.

"They could easily get the drop on us like Blue did. Obviously, sitting still isn't going to work." Yuya said.

"So we are going to take the fight to them after all?" Joey asked, hoping they would. Reluctantly, Tristan nodded.

"I hate to say it, but after this… I'd say our best defense is a good offense." Joey pumped his fist in the air.

"Alright!" He cheered.

"So what's our new plan of attack?" Tèa asked.

"Yugi. I may have a way to win this…" Atem said to his partner. After listening, Yugi was fully onboard with the Pharaoh's suggestion. As he told the others, Yugi hoped the idea would work… for everyone's sakes.

/\/\/\/\/\/\

"What's taking her so long?" Black asked, feeling impatient.

"What we should be asking is "Did the plan work?" So far, I don't see any indication that it did." Gray said.

Red frowned. The plan was for Blue to sneak up on those kids and flush them out and had the rest of his team pick them off at their leisure. Their targets would scatter throughout the area, allowing Red's squad to mercilessly eliminate them. But that was about 10 minutes ago. It had been too quiet for too long and there were no signs of anyone running about. Still, he didn't want to do anything reckless. "Let's give Blue another couple of minutes. If we hear nothing from her, we're switching to plan B." Red instructed. His guys nodded in agreement.

"Hey jackasses! Over here!" The battle hardened men saw Joey sticking his tongue out at them before zipping out of sight.

"After him!" Red commanded as the trio rushed after Joey. He cursed that Blue had failed and wondered how the hell she messed up. They ran after Joey, hot on his heels.

Seconds later, a laser beam shot out nearby and nearly hit Black. "Who did that?!" He shouted. He looked and saw Serenity holding the weapon.

"Come and get me!" She challenged before darting off around the corner.

"Bitch!" Black then gave chase to the younger Wheeler.

"Yo! Don't forget about me!" Joey peeked from the opposite side, grinning. He quickly pulled back when Gray tried to zap him. "Missed me!" He taunted while laughing.

"Arrogant punk." Gray hissed as he headed off in Joey's direction. That left Red on his own.

"Blasted kids. They don't know who they are dealing with." He grumbled as he scouted ahead, hoping to find the other teens and make them pay.

/\/\/\/\/\/\

In his control room, Noah seemed amused by the teen's tactics. "How about that? They've already taken down one of my assailants by sheer luck, and they think they can divide and conquer." Vivian smirked.

"I'd be surprised if any of Yugi's pals manage to win without losing anyone." Noah continued to smile.

'I highly doubt that, considering they haven't encountered the "boss" yet…' He thought as he kept watching.

/\/\/\/\/\/\

"So far so good." Yusho said. His group had been watching Yugi and the others battle for their lives. They were glad no one has been killed… at least not yet.

"One down, three to go." Mokuba said. "Do you think they have a plan to take down the other enemy players?" He asked no one in particular.

"If they do, it had better be a good one." Duke told him as the deadly laser tag game played on. They then saw the group splitting up, catching the attention of the other three opponents.

'Yugi, Yuya, everyone… please prevail.' Aqua prayed.

Unbeknownst to the group, there was one other occupant in the house. "Go ahead and watch whatever it is you're watching. It will give me all the time I need to set up my trap." Said the person who followed Duke and the others home. He went to work while Aqua and her human companions observed what happened next in Death T-1…

/\/\/\/\/\/\

Black slowed his pursuit and hugged the northeast corner of the arena. He didn't want his back exposed incase of a sneak attack. He knew the girl had come this way, so she had to be nearby. He wasn't going to give her the chance of shooting him again. So, he crouched and moved slowly until he was just about to turn the corner. He had a gut feeling the chick who took a shot at him was waiting around the bend. From there, he quickly slid forward onto his stomach and fired a blast.

Tèa swerved to the left to avoid the laser, but she slipped and fell over. Black chuckled as he got back on his feet and quickly reached her while she was still down. "Not the girl I was hoping, but no matter. Got ya now." He was about to pull the trigger when…

"Hey! Were you looking for me?" Black turned and spotted Serenity, aiming her gun at him. He smirked.

"There you are. I'll deal with you in a…"AIIIIII!" He screamed in severe pain as Tèa kicked him in the groin. He dropped his weapon and held his private parts as he hunched over. "Son of a… bitch!" He painfully muttered.

"Now!" Tèa ordered while rolling away. After she moved in close enough, Serenity took aim and fired another shot at Black, this time hitting him squarely on his vest sensor. Like with Blue, he suffered from a huge electrical jolt before passing out. The two girls smiled at one another.

"Nice shot." Tèa said. Serenity nodded.

"Thanks." She told her, smiling from their victory.

Elsewhere, Gray was sweeping his immediate area for Joey. Did that guy actually think he could take down a well trained assassin like himself? How delusional. He hardly made a sound as he searched. He was sure Joey had run in this direction. Gray approached the corner, and as he spun around, he pointed his weapon at Tristan's face, and vice versa.

"It's Gray, right? I was kinda hoping I'd bump into your team leader. Guess you'll have to do." Tristan said boldly. Gray snorted.

"Where's your cocky pal?" He asked in a dangerously soft voice.

"Joey? You tell me. You're the one hunting him down right?" Tristan inquired.

"We both know your weapon is useless. Drop it." Gray ordered.

"How do you know it doesn't work? I haven't tried to zap you yet." Tristan said with smirking. Gray smirked back as he lowered his blaster.

"Go ahead then. Shoot me." Tristan held his blaster at the opposing man for a long moment… before ditching it.

"Fine, you got me. You called my bluff. I give up." He said as he raised his hands up in surrender. Gray chuckled.

"You actually think that I'd let you live just because you surrender? How stupid." Gray said as he raised his weapon again and poised to end Tristan's life…

"Heads up meathead!" Gray looked up and saw Joey jump down from the wall above. He didn't have time to dodge as the teen tackled him to the ground. Joey got back up faster and fired a blast from his working blaster at Gray's vest sensor, shocking him into unconsciousness. He and Tristan then shared a fist bump. "Chalk up another point for the home team!" Joey exclaimed.

"Couldn't agree more!" Tristan said, pleased his real bluff had worked and allowed Joey to take down another member of the enemy team.

In another spot, Red had approached the opposite end of the room and headed right. It was there he finally found Blue, who was standing over Yuya. He lay on the floor, unmoving. She then noticed him. "Well, look who just missed all the fun." Red narrowed his eyes at her.

"Blue. I see you did manage to get one of the brats. How did the others escape?" He asked. Blue sighed.

"This one tried to take my blaster while his buddies scattered. I kicked him away and shot him down. He won't be getting up again. I was just making sure he wasn't playing possum when you showed up." She told him.

Red felt something was off. Blue alone should've been more than capable of taking out at least half those kids, not just one. That and the fact she failed to report in earlier made him more than a little suspicious. "I see. Then let me ask you something else." He said as he gripped his weapon. "What's my nickname for you? You know, the one I give you when it's just the two of us?" Blue appeared startled.

"My nickname? Come on, there's no need for that. Let's just meet up with the other guys and finish the job." She told him. Red raised his weapon at her. "W-What are you doing?!" She demanded. The soldier gave a satisfying smile.

"I don't know who you are, but you're not Blue. We always give each other nicknames to confirm our identities. It was a test to make sure no imposters would slip beneath our radar. It was also a test… that you just failed." Red stated before firing a blast at the Blue imposter. To the man's great surprise, his laser bounced off of his target and hit him instead. After being shocked (in more ways than one), he screamed in pain and fell to the ground. He didn't move again.

"Blue" turned to her left, where Yugi emerged from a shadowed spot in the rear. He was merged with Atem and the Eye of Wdjat glowed on his forehead. "Nice acting, Yuya." He said as the Millennium Puzzle also glowed. The woman's appearance then changed to the form of Zarc's Standard Dimension fragment. At the same time, the "Yuya" laying his back changed to the downed enemy shooter, the real Blue.

"Thank you Yugi. Using your Puzzle's powers to make the illusion of me being down and Blue standing over me was really smart." After changing back, Yugi chuckled as he met up with him.

"Atem figured these guys would have a method of identifying one another, so trying to deceive them wouldn't work. However, getting Red to shoot you without him knowing his own attack would be sent right back at him was something he never could've seen coming." Yuya nodded.

"Agreed. Thanks to you too, Atem." He told the ancient spirit. Yugi told him he got the message. Before long, the rest of the team met up with them.

"You two good?" Joey asked. Yugi and Yuya nodded.

"Yeah, we are. Glad you guys are okay too. What of the other shooters?" Yugi asked. They all grinned.

"All shocked and down for the count, Yug! We got 'em all!" Joey started triumphantly.

"Great! That means we've won this game, right?" Yuya asked. As if on cue, the room's interior started changing. All the tall and curved walls retracted below the floor, leaving the arena completely open. On the far side was a door labeled "Death T-2".

"That's the door Noah mentioned! Let's go!" Tristan declared. They all ran towards the door, looking forward to be getting out of there.

However, when they were just a few feet away, red alarm lights were flashing everywhere. "Oh man! Now what?!" Joey shouted. His reply came in the form of a computerized announcement.

"Warning! Warning! Massive enemy approaching! Warning! Warning!"

"Massive enemy? What does that mean?!" Tèa asked fearfully.

"Look!" Yuya called out, pointing directly ahead of the team. The Death T-2 door opened… and something very big was walking out of it at a slow pace, and towards them.

"Guys… I've got a feeling that we're not done on this floor yet." Yugi said ominously as the thing continued it's approach.

From where he and Vivian were watching, Noah smiled big time. He waited for this moment.

"At last… the boss is here. Now the real battle on Death T-1 begins."

To be continued.
