Donkey Kong is training with his Best Friend,Diddy Kong. Then,The Ship docks on the beach. The Kongs are greeted by King Rool & his Kremlings. While Diddy is guarding the Banana Hoard, Donkey Kong went out with Candy. Rool's henchman,Kudgel overpowered Diddy,allowing the Kremlings to steal the Banana Hoard. Diddy alerted Donkey Kong & He tried to pursue them,but the Kremlings vanished through the Fog.
Cranky Kong sent Donkey Kong & Diddy Kong to recover the bananas. While journeying through the jungle,They were ambushed by the Queen Bee .They were saved by Dixie Kong. She takes them to her clubhouse to meet her sister,Tiny,& her cousins,Chunky & his brother,Kiddy,whom Dixie & Tiny had been living with since they lost their parents,due to Bowser's attack. Dixie joins them after she knows where the Ships at.
By the time they reached the Castle,Kudgel attacks the trio with the club. Diddy & Dixie holds him off while Donkey Kong goes inside to retrieve the bananas. Donkey Kong faces off with Rool. Funky Kong appeared in his Gyrocopter & picked up the bananas while Donkey Kong & Rool ended up in the explosive room. Diddy & Dixie managed to knock Kudgel over the cliff and quickly escape as Donkey Kong made Rool dropped his candle,lighting up the dynamites which caused the explosion.
The Kongs thought Donkey Kong was killed,But he managed to survive when he took cover in the cauldron before the explosion. Cranky congratulates the Kongs as Candy gave Donkey Kong a kiss in the cheek. The Kongs celebrate his success.
Mid-Credits: King Rool,who survived the explosion,has drifted on a raft along with the Kremlings. He asks them if there's any Ideas as they get surrounded by Sharks.
