Chapter 6 The old man
Raven decided to get this over with as fast as possible, she had more pressing matters to deal with, still needs must. She teleported in putting her frame right in front of his desk, his dark eyes rolling in his head. Shock, confusion, annoyance, turned on, were just some of the emotions reeking on the face of Vince McMahon, the new owner of what he called the WWF, that would change, but she didn't tell him that, he would find out all about that soon enough.
"Who are you?"
She cocked her head to the side, "He really didn't tell you? Well I guess the Hu-mans have earnt an extra point in my book"
Raven sat down in one of the leather chairs in his office, it felt oddly nice on her skin, she made a note to find out all about this 'leather' pelt. More importanly how to get one of her own.
"Look sweetheart, I'm a very busy man so unless you're gonna start getting naked, we have nothing to talk about"
Raven didn't understand, how was being naked going to change the facts. "Ok lets clear up something right now so no one is confused, I'm not from this planet, I am an Alien so all your weird innuendo is wasted on me cause I don't know what that means"
Raven got up and punched a very mean hole in his oak desk, "I also get annoyed very easily and when I get annoyed things usually die so you might wanna pay attention Vince"
He didn't like the crazy in her face, his hand slowly reaching for his security, Raven punched another hole, this one right through his intercom. Now he was paying attention. He swallowed the lump in his throat. When his Father passed, he gave his company to his son who was slowly gaining a very powerful empire, at least it would be with Raven's help, but of course he nothing on how his Father really ran the company. So he looked through all the files and adjusted the business plan, he came across a name he had never heard of R.V.M, he tried to get information on the name before he did anything, but nothing had come up so his wife Linda suggested to just cancel it and see who rings back.
Apparently it had to do with the young lady in front of him with the crazed face.
"Your Father built this company himself, at least for the most part. I guess I would be what you call a 'silent' partner. I gave him everything he needed to build a great empire in exchange he give me soldiers"
He just looked at her, a million buzzing thoughts passed in his head, he had no idea whether to throw her out or to just laugh in her face. It was a good idea she had planted and all ready he was thinking how to sell this on his show.
"Young lady" "This is the bottom line, you need me to keep this company going and all I ask in exchange is soldiers when I need them, your Father all ready gave me a few names to try and I have to admit that old man knew how to pick soldiers, you on the other hand, well lets just say you are going to need me too Vince. But since it is 'your' Hu-mans doing all the fighting I will at least let you pick my soldiers, well mostly"
Vince had had enough of this silly joke, he stood up to his full height, towering over the small girl, again the logic just wasn't working, she had proved twice that she could punch a hole in, well it seemed anything that made her mad.
Raven sighed, she just wanted to rest. "I guess we're doing this" She drew that deadly fireball in her palm, with every breath she took the ball grew bigger until he was sure she wouln't be able hold it.
"Now are you going to accept my deal or am I just gonna use you as target practice and after I'm done doing that I'm gonna repeat this conversation with your wife and see if she thinks it's a good idea, then again if she says no I might have to see if Hu-mans can fly with their hands tied behind their backs"
"Leave my wife out of this!"
"I have...so far"
Vince sat back down admittedly more willing to listen to the woman.
"My name is Raven, and I'm the reason this company has done so well, I will give you everything you need to make it the best in the world. All I ask for in return is soldiers when I need them, trust me it doesn't come up as much as you may think"
Raven took a bit pf paper from nowhere and a pen, she didn't know what all the words meant but she knew that Vince would get it, after all his Father always did. She wouldn't admit it but she would miss the old man, he was desperate enough to trust her and when it proved that he could, he had become a good friend to her.
"So what do I do Raven?" Vince finally opened his ears, the crazyness was still there but perhaps it made more sense, he always wondered how his Father managed it, now it seemed the answer was right in front of him.
"Just follow your business instincts and do not say a word about me, I need to remain a silent partner, until I need a soldier at least" She handed him the paper
"That will also help"
He looked at it like she had given him the holy grail, when he looked up Raven was gone. Before he could question his own sanity, he instantly made sure that the mistake of cutting Raven out had been dealt with. With the information she had given him, he knew his company would only grow and grow, no matter if other business's failed.
That wasn't his problem.
