Marth & Caeda attends Merric & Elice's wedding. They received the news from the Royal Guard that the Emperor of the Dolhr Empire has attacked the village. Marth goes out to fight with them. He was nearly overpowered,but Roy appears & helps him out.
Michaelis,King of Macedonia,approaches Medeus,the Dolhr Emperor,who swore a wrath upon Marth,since he is the Great-Great-Nephew of his archenemy,Anri,who had once killed him before being revived by Ghnarf. He sends him & his sister,Minerva to hunt him down. Roy reveals that he is the son of Eliwood,the Marquess of Pherae. Caeda was captured by Michaelis & Minerva. Marth & Roy pursues them to the castle. Caeda met Michaelis & Minerva's younger sister,Maria,who reveals that Michaelis kills their father to take his place as king.
Marth sword fights with Michaelis while Roy go finds Caeda. Minerva confronts Caeda,who has freed herself & Maria. Roy appears & Caeda tells Minerva that Michaelis can't be loyal to Medeus,saying he's using him.
After Marth defeats Michaelis,He is confronted by Medeus,who declares that the line of Anri must die. He transforms into a Dragon. As he overpowers Marth,Michaelis sacrificed himself to allow him to sever Medeus' head.
Minerva became Queen as Roy tells Marth that there's always a lot of Dragons out there somewhere.
