Hey guys. I'm happy to say my new job is much better than my old one! I am trying to adjust (my previous job had me working at nights so I need to transition to daytime hours like "normal" people). Hopefully this means I will be able to update more often. We'll have to see. With that out of the way, let's get the lowdown from Sect.

Yugioh: The Hope of Six

Chapter 53: Arcadia Arc – Part 8

"One of you? How?" Yugo asked, stunned and confused.

"We first met Sect back in the old days, when we still lived like surviving everyday on scraps." Nerve said. "He seemed like an okay guy at the time. Got no bad vibes off of him at all. Then one day, around two years ago, he left and never came back."

"Last we heard, Sect took off due to not getting in with Kiryu's old team. He took it pretty hard." Blitz added. "He was a different person at the time."

"Yeah, he wasn't anything like how he was tonight." Taka said, looking down at Sect. "I totally don't get it."

"So you guys never knew about him being a Psychic Duelist? Or about him being able to talk to bugs?" Yugo questioned. They all shook their heads.

"Hell no. We didn't know any of that." Taka told him.

"That was a side of him we had never seen." Blitz added. "Who knows how long he's been able to do that."

"Like I care about it right now!" Rally interjected angrily. "What I want to know is why he just tried to kill us all tonight!" They all agreed with him.

"The Sect we remember could never have acted the way he did just now." Nerve said, still not quite believing how this could be.

"Well… he did." Yugo said bluntly. "He may have been a friend back in your day, but he ain't nobody's friend now." Rally and his friends did not know how to respond.

"Look! The enemy Duelist is down! Move in!" Just then, a squad of officers rushed inside the facility and wasted no time in apprehending Sect. They quickly handcuffed him and stuck some kind of metal ring on top of his head.

"What the hell's that thing?" Yugo asked as he pointed at the object.

"It's a Psy Dampener. It was designed to suppress the abilities of a Psychic Duelist. The Public Security Maintenance Bureau made these shortly after learning of Divine's escape as a means of disabling him and those like him." The lead officer explained.

"So now he can't do his talking bug thing again?" Taka asked.

"No, not while he's wearing the dampener. That also includes his ability to cause real damage." Said another officer.

It was then that Sect finally stirred. When he woke up, he was shocked and outraged of the loss of his mask and that his hands were cuffed. "H-Hey! What the frak is this?! I didn't want my face to be seen by the likes of you! How dare you?!" He tried, and failed, to break free and make a run for it. Two officers held him tight so he couldn't escape. "You morons can't hold me! Come my friends! Free your master and show these idiots what retribution feels like!" To his horror, none of the remaining bugs he tried to contact came to his aid. He tried again, only to get the same result. "What is going on?! Why won't my friends help me?"

"It's because of that thing on your head." Yugo told him. "No stinking bugs helping you this time." Sect was even more furious.

"No! That's impossible! Nothing can stop my power! Nothing!" He shouted, angrier than before.

"Well that ring thing just did." Rally told him. "But Sect, why would you do this? I thought you were our friend. We thought you were Yusei's friend. Why would you become this wacko obsessed with killing people?!"

"Yeah, what the hell happened to you Sect?" Nerve demanded as well.

Sect growled and sneered at them. "You chumps had no idea what I'd been through! None of you know nothing about me!"

"Then tell us!" Taka shouted.

Sect gave them all a look of disdain, and gave Yugo the dirtiest expression he could muster. Then he grunted. "Heh. If you insist…"

Flashback:

Sect Ijuin loved insects. He always did ever since he was little. His favorite bugs, though, were ants. They were small, but strong in great numbers. Sect was fascinated by how they work together to get things done like building their anthills and gathering food for the whole swarm. He spent most of his childhood days just watching them do their work. Those days, however, were not among the best of his life.

"Check it out guys! It's the ant boy!" A boy much bigger than he was stood over Sect, his shadow covering him. The boy, and two other mean looking boys on either side of him, grinned maliciously down at the now frightened smaller boy. These three have tormented Sect ever since he arrived at the orphanage just the other day. They picked on him due to how much smaller he was compared to them and of his fascination with insects. "Still prefer disgusting bugs over actual people, ant boy?" The lead bully asked. Sect stared back up with total fear.

"P-Please! Go away! Just go away!" He begged pitifully. The thugs laughed.

"You can't tell us what to do, you little worm! Just like you can't tell me to stop this!" The lead bully stomped his foot down on the ants Sect was watching, squashing them all. Sect gasped in horror. "Oh, what's wrong now, worm? You gonna cry for some worthless bugs?"

Sect started to cry from the bullies' heartless laughter. "Why? Why are you guys doing this to me? What did I do to deserve any of it?" He demanded, his tears falling from his face to the ground. The lead bully picked him up by the shirt collar and stared at him with disdain.

"Why? Because I don't like weirdos like you. Simple as that." Sect continued to cry. He hated being treated this way. He hated being so helpless against these jerks. Why couldn't they just let him be? He wished something would happen to make all this stop…

"Leave him alone!" Sect and his bullies turned to see three other orphan boys approaching. One had short spiky orange hair and wore a sleeveless brown vest. Another was slightly less spiky but was blonde and wore mostly white. The third had black hair with yellow stripes sticking up on both sides and wore a blue jacket over a dark t-shirt with a red symbol on it. It was this boy that called out to the bully. "Stop bullying him!"

The bullies sneered at the newcomers. "Back off, losers!" Said one of the lackeys.

"Yeah! This ain't none of your business!" Said the other.

"It is now!" The orange haired boy disputed. "Put the guy down! Now!"

"Or what?" The lead bully asked, clearly showing no intention of releasing Sect.

The blonde boy held up a fist. "You will suffer the consequences." He told him in a surprisingly strong voice for someone as young as him. The lead snarled.

"You want a fight? For this bug obsessed wimp?" He demanded as he lifted Sect a little higher.

"Heck yeah!" Said the orange haired boy confidently.

"Without a doubt!" The blonde boy said in agreement.

"We will if we have to!" The black haired boy said, anger in his bright blue eyes.

The lead bully sneered as he threw Sect to the ground behind him. He then scrambled to his feet and dashed behind a nearby trash can. "Bad move. Get them!" With that, the newcomers and the bullies began their brawl.

"There, that should do it." Martha, a kind Hispanic woman who ran the orphanage, said after finishing patching up the kids' wounds. Sect was the luckiest one; he alone sustained no injuries, considering he stayed out of the whole confrontation. The others all had cuts and scraps on their faces with their clothes dirty and slightly torn. Martha made sure to keep Sect and the ones who came to Sect's rescue separated from the bullies (who were in "time out" in another room). She smiled warmly at the last group. "It truly pleases me to see friends helping each other. I just wish violence had not been a part of it." She then turned to Sect himself and gave a reassuring smile. "You don't need to worry. I'll have a very stern talk with those boys. They won't bother you anymore."

Sect looked down. He didn't seem so sure. "I want to believe that Martha, I really do. But those guys… seem the type to come back no matter what." Martha shook her head.

"I won't let them." She told him more firmly. Sect still felt otherwise.

"Maybe I should just leave… take off and never come back…" Martha frowned.

"Sect, look at me." She said, making the depressed boy look up at her stern face. "Running away is NEVER the answer. It won't solve anything."

"I can run from them." Sect countered, indicating his tormentors. Martha shook her head.

"You are just a child. You can't survive out there on your own." Sect looked away.

"I'd rather be out there than here, with those jerks around." He muttered. Martha was about to protest further when…

"We will protect you." Sect and Martha tuned to see the black and gold haired boy and his friends approaching them.

"Yeah. Those guys won't come near you as long as you're hanging with us." The orange haired boy said, smirking while pointing a thumb at himself.

"You can count on that." The blonde boy added. Sect felt both surprised and touched.

"Really? You would all do that… for me?" Sect questioned. The trio nodded.

"We always protect our friends." The black haired boy said as he stepped in front of Sect. "This is Jack Atlas and Crow Hogan." He said referring to the blonde and orange haired boys respectively. He then held out his hand. "My name… is Yusei Fudo."

Martha was happy and pleased for this. She hoped those three could help make the boy's life more bearable. Sect, so touched by people that actually want to befriend him, cried tears of joy as he took Yusei's hand and smiled. "I'm Sect Ijuin. Thanks for wanting to be friends with me."

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

After that, Sect's life became somewhat better. With Yusei, Jack, and Crow around, Sect hardly ever got teased or picked on anymore. He was even taught how to play Duel Monsters and built his own Deck, which actually felt fun to him. Later on he met Rally, Nerve, Taka, and Blitz. At that time, Sect Ijuin truly believed he found a real family. Life was still hard and at times unfair, but they still had each other.

In return, Sect supported them any way he could. This included fishing around for spare parts to be recycled and sharing any portions of his food he could spare.

Even though he had been friends with Yusei and his group, there was one thing that Sect had kept to himself, even from Yusei. Every now and then, when he was alone, Sect would sit around in some secluded spot and "talked" with some nearby insects. Well technically, he did what other people called talking. The bugs that kept him company would actually buzz or click their mandibles, but Sect somehow understood what they were telling him as if he were talking to another person. He feared more than anything that his secret would get out and people would make him an outcast, or worse… a freak. Sect swore to himself that would never happen.

Eventually, Sect witnessed Yusei, Jack, and Crow meet Kiryu Kyosuke and joined with him, creating Team Satisfaction, to make their life in Satellite more bearable. During that time, Sect began working with Rally and the others at the Satellite recycling plant. Unlike in Neo Domino City, when working conditions were harsh, the pay was pitiful, and no benefits were available. Still, Sect got through this with strength and encouragement from those he befriended.

One evening, Sect met up with Yusei and asked him if he meet Kiryu. "Sure. Why?" Yusei asked him. Sect's answer surprised him.

"I want to join you guys. I want to be a part of Team Satisfaction!" He strongly declared. Yusei hesitated. He frowned and looked down at his friend with concern.

"I don't know, Sect. What we do is dangerous, even life threatening if you get too reckless. That's why Kiryu only approached me, Jack, and Crow. We can handle the other Satellite dueling gangs. It may not be for you." Sect brushed it off.

"Come on Yusei! I've gotten the hang of dueling with my Deck! Please!" Sect insisted. He wanted more than anything to be part of something bigger than just some guy recycling used parts. Most of all he wanted to be with the very people that protected him from those horrible bullies years ago. He would not be turned away just like that.

Yusei still seemed unsure, but saw he clearly wasn't going to be able to change Sect's mind. He sighed. "Alright, I'll take you to see Kiryu. But I have to tell you. Don't expect him to be as agreeable as me." Sect nodded, grinning happily.

"Thanks buddy!" An hour later, Yusei and Sect met up with the rest of Team Satisfaction. They were all checking the conditions of their Duel Disks when the pair arrived.

With his much shorter silver hair and a red shirt beneath a sleeveless brown vest, Kiryu Kyosuke bumped fists with Yusei. "Yusei." He simply said.

"Kiryu." Yusei replied back. Kiryu then noticed at his shorter companion.

"Who is this?" Kiryu asked. Jack and Crow recognized their friend.

"Is that Sect?" Jack questioned.

"Sect? The heck are you doing here?" A surprised Crow asked. Yusei provided the answer.

"Sect Ijuin is a childhood friend of ours from the orphanage. He asked me to bring him here to meet you."

"What for?" Kiryu asked, curious for why Yusei felt the need to bring this innocent looking kid out here.

Sect stared up at the formidable Team Satisfaction leader. "Kiryu Kyosuke, I want to prove myself worthy of joining your team!" He boldly declared. Kiryu was stunned by this, as were Jack and Crow.

"Join us? Is he serious?" Crow asked incredulously.

"He sounds like it." Jack told him in a dubious tone.

Kiryu looked back at Yusei. "Is this true, Yusei?" His teammate nodded.

"Yes. I tried to warn him how it is for us, but he insisted on meeting you to let him join."

Kiryu returned his gaze to the smaller boy. He seemed be sizing him up, though he had his doubts. "I'm not sure Team Satisfaction is for you." Sect wouldn't give up that easily.

"I know how tough it is to live in this hellhole! I heard how you inspired Yusei and the others to fight with hope and unity! I'm also inspired to do the same! I want to be part of something great like your team, especially if your teammates are my childhood friends!" Kiryu still appeared to think the boy was too wet behind the ears.

"I am flattered you think so highly of how I lead my team. However, I also believe you underestimate what you're asking to get into. I chose my teammates because I know they are strong enough to handle themselves in this harsh, unforgiving place. I can tell just by looking at them. You, on the other hand…" Kiryu paused for moment before resuming with a question. "Sect Ijuin… Do you really believe you can stand with Team Satisfaction?"

"Yes! Without a doubt! It's what I want! Give me a chance to prove myself!" He told him eagerly. Kiryu sighed. Guess there was only one way to handle this.

"Fine…" Kiryu said as he strapped on his Duel Disk and inserted his Deck. "Here is your chance. If you can beat me in a Duel, I'll let you join. If you lose, then you must go back home. Do you accept?" Sect didn't hesitate as he got out his Deck and Duel Disk.

"Heck yeah! I'll prove I can hold my own!" Sect said as he prepared himself. Kiryu stood ready.

"Never make a statement like that without backing it up." He advised as the Duel began.

"DUEL!"

(Sect: 4000) (Kiryu: 4000)

"As the team leader, I will go first. My turn! Draw!" Kiryu studied his cards for a moment before making his move. "I Summon Archfiend Soldier!" (DARK; Level 4; ATK: 1900; DEF: 1500) A purple skinned horned demon appeared wearing a dark green cape and and held a sword in it's right hand. "Then I Set one card facedown and end my turn. Now then, show me your worthiness to join Team Satisfaction!" He demanded.

Sect gave him a determined look. "I definitely will! My turn! Draw!" He was very pleased with what he held. He knew if this worked, Kiryu would definitely be impressed and let him join. "Here I go! I Summon Hungry Giant Ant!" (EARTH; Level 3; ATK: 1000; DEF: 500) A humanoid black ant with smiley face and held a lollipop in each of it's four hands appeared. "I activate Hungry Giant Ant's Effect! When it is Normal Summoned while my opponent has an opposing Monster, my Monster's Attack Points double! Your Vorse Raider just made my ant a lot stronger!" Sect's Monster grew bigger as it's power grew.

(Hungry Giant Ant's ATK: 1000 x 2 = 2000)

"Not a bad start." Crow admitted. Yusei and Jack kept silent while they watched, as did their team leader.

"Now to bring out my Ace Monster! Since an "Insect" Monster I control has it's Attack Points increased, I can Special Summon Hammerhead Ant from my hand!" (EARTH; Level 6; ATK: 2000; DEF: 1800) A far more muscular humanoid red ant appeared. It had an afro on top of it's head and wore a boxing glove in it's four hands.

"That's your Ace?" Kiryu asked. Sect nodded as he smiled.

"He sure is! He's gonna take you down in one blow!" He said excitedly.

"Show me." Kiryu told him. He had no concern about his opponent's tactics, not with what he had set up…

"With pleasure! Battle! Hammerhead Ant, attack Archfiend Soldier! Ant Punch!" The bigger bug charged forward.

"He's charging in too recklessly." Jack muttered. Crow nodded in agreement. Yusei still said nothing, but he too knew Sect wasn't making the right move. Kiryu knew this as well.

"The main Effect of Hammerhead Ant activates! He gains the Attack Points of another "Insect" I control during the Battle Phase! This makes my Ace more than a match for yours!" Sect declared, his Monster now stronger thanks to it's fellow big.

(Hammerhead Ant's ATK: 2000 + 2000 = 4000)

"It won't be enough to defeat me!" Kiryu declared.

"Oh yeah? When Hammerhead Ant attacks an opposing Monster in while I control another "Ant" Monster, the targeted Monster's Attack Points drop to 0! I've got you, Kiryu Kyosuke!"

Kiryu inwardly sighed, only mildly annoyed his Archfiend Soldier lost all its Attack Points. He didn't like what he was about to do, but he needed to do it… for the kid's own good.

"You are too sure of yourself. Trap card open, Hate Buster! This can only be activated when a "Fiend" Monster I control is being attacked by an opponent's Monster! It destroys both the attacking Monster and the Monster it battles, then you take damage equal to the Attack Points of your destroyed Monster!" Kiryu countered, to Sect's shock.

"You what?! No, you can't!" He objected, sounding slightly crazed.

"I just did!" Kiryu retorted as both Monsters blew apart. Sect was blown down on his back, defeated.

(Sect: 0)

"Humph. He lost the battle before it even really started." Jack said, knowing Kiryu would win without any problems.

"Poor guy." Crow said. "He should've known better."

"I'm sorry, but it doesn't look like you have what it takes to be one of us." Kiryu stated before he gazed over at Yusei, who gazed back.

Yusei knew what Kiryu was really saying through his eyes: That Sect would not survive long in the battles ahead he joined. Kiryu beat him with ease to keep him away from such hardships. Understanding that, Yusei walked over toward Sect, who managed to sit up. "Are you okay?" He asked, holding out his hand to help him up. To Yusei's surprise, instead of taking his hand, Sect swatted it away. "Sect?" Yusei asked, startled by his friend's reaction. Sect finally got back on his feet, but didn't look at him or anyone else. He kept his head down… and started crying.

"I thought I could win. I thought I became a strong Duelist like you, like all of Team Satisfaction. But…" he snapped his head at Yusei, his eyes wet with tears of sadness and anger. "I'm not strong at all! Look at me! I'm pathetic! I couldn't even damage my opponent in battle before losing! What kind of Duelist am I?!" He cried. Yusei tried to comfort him.

"Sect, don't talk about yourself that way. Kiryu is a very strong Duelist. Beating him would never be that easy." Yusei told him. Sect kick the dirt with his foot.

"You guys are all strong. I'm not!" Sect shouted. "I don't belong here… I NEVER BELONGED HERE!"

"Sect, we may not be on the same team together, but we are still friends." Yusei said firmly to him. Sect looked away, still seething.

"Look man, don't take this so hard. Losing one Duel doesn't make you weak…" Crow said, trying to comfort his old friend.

"Can it, M-Head!" Sect snapped angrily. Crow looked offended.

"Hey! No need for name calling!" He shot back.

"It is not just his lack of dueling talent. If he also cannot accept his loss with dignity and simply whines about it, then he is not fit to be on our team." Jack said to him.

"Jack…" Crow started, stunned by the coldness in his friend's voice.

"There is no place for you on this team, Sect Ijuin. You should leave now, for your sake." Kiryu said. This made the boy snap.

"Fine! Screw it all! Screw all of you! I don't care anymore! I'm outta here!" With that, Sect turned and ran away.

"Sect! Wait!" Yusei called out, but Sect didn't respond. He just kept on running, wanting to put his loss and all his bad memories behind him. He never turned back…

Flashback End

"After taking off, I decided I would find a usable D-Wheel to ride out of Satellite." Sect said after explaining his running away. "I was bound and determined to get away from here, the place where I had my worst memories. Eventually I found one, which actually belonged to the guys who bullied me back at the orphanage. I was pretty upset already, so seeing them again made me feel even worse. Of course they wouldn't let me take their precious vehicle, opting to beat me to a pulp instead since I was completely alone… or so they thought." Sect said with a malicious grin.

"What did you do?" Taka questioned, fearing what the answer would be. The bug Elite chuckled.

"I sensed a lot of venomous insects where we were, so I called them to attack. They were all over those chumps within seconds. Per my orders, they did not let up… until they were no more than fresh corpses!" Sect revealed with a sickening laugh.

Yugo and everyone else were horrified. "You… killed then?" Rally asked in a hushed tone.

"I realized what I wanted all along: Revenge. I wanted revenge for every bad thing that ever happened to me, everything I never deserved. Seeing the bullies again that day combined with my loss and rejection from Team Satisfaction made me finally open my eyes to the kind of person I really am. Those punks definitely deserved to die a terrible death for all the torment they gave me!" Sect retorted, feeling justified by his past actions.

"You really lost it that day." Nerve said, hardly believing what he was hearing from the guy. Sect ignored him and moved on.

"It was the first time I ever attacked or killed anyone. I was not the least bit sorry I did it. I'm glad they're dead." He took a moment to remember what he did next. "After it was done, I took the D-Wheel and rode away. My bug friends guided me out of Satellite and into Neo Domino City through some huge sewer pipes. When I reached the other side, I basked in the knowledge I had finally escaped from that Hell. I was thinking what to do then when I met the man that gave me a new life: Divine of the Arcadia Movement!"

"You met him then?" Yugo questioned. Sect smiled.

"He happened to be scoping around for others like himself, a Psychic Duelist. He greatly sympathized with me when I told him my life's story. After I showed him my bug power, he was impressed. He told me I had great potential and invited me to join his group. After replacing my weak Deck with my current one, it wasn't long before I advanced to become one of his Elite Psychics. I was finally, truly happy. I had found where I was always meant to be. Martha had been wrong. Running away DID give me the answer I was looking for: My true calling as a powerful Psychic Duelist within the Arcadia Movement!" Sect exclaimed with pride.

"You actually felt okay hurting other people? Even those that did you no wrong?" Rally asked, still shocked by what he was hearing. Sect snorted.

"All of humanity deserves to be wiped off the face of the earth for their cruel, bullying ways! Divine convinced me of that!"

"It must have really sucked for you when the Arcadia Movement got wiped out first." Yugo said with a smirk of his own. Sect growled.

"That night was so messed up! I was forced into hiding after what happened. I heard nothing for a long time before Divine finally found me again. I thought we had suffered worst of it when we lost our headquarters, but then I heard of Aki's defection and what Yusei did." Sect gritted his teeth. "I heard Yusei was responsible for Divine being murdered by one of the Dark Signers. He failed me as a friend, and now he went and pull that on my leader. I hated him for that too! That's why I came here tonight: To take away the lives of people he cared about in retaliation!"

"Yusei was your friend! He tried to help you!" Rally shot back. Sect wouldn't hear of it.

"Some friend! He didn't back me up when Kiryu kicked me to the curb! He certainly did me no favors for putting a dent into Master Divine's plans! But you wait! The Arcadia Movement will soon rise again and take this world from the cruel grasp of humanity! We WILL triumph!" He shouted at them, followed by insane laughter.

"I've heard enough of this crap! Get'em out of here!" The head officer ordered. Obediently, the officers holding Sect by the arms picked him up and carried him away while reading him his Miranda rights. The officer turned of face Yugo and the others. "Thanks for your help, young man. You are a tough one." He told the teen, who smiled back and nodded.

"Anything to help Yusei." He said.

"You coming?" The head officer asked.

"In a bit." Yugo told him, feeling the need to fill in Rally and the others a bit before leaving.

The man nodded back. "'We'll wait til you're ready to head out." He said before he marched away with his squad.

After everything was quiet, Yugo turned to Rally, Nerve, Taka, and Blitz. "You guys gonna be okay?" He asked them tentatively. The three older men didn't say anything. They were still digesting how much Sect had changed. Rally spoke for them all.

"I think we will be. Guess we can't really say the same for Sect." He stood quiet for a long time. "Yugo, was it?" He asked. Yugo nodded.

"Yeah?" He said.

"Just how do you know Yusei? And why the heck do you have his Stardust Dragon?" Rally asked him. The others wanted to know that as well. Yugo put a hand behind his head and chuckled.

"Well, that's a hell of a story."

"Are you sure about this?" One of the officers asked Rin. The girl nodded.

"I'm sure. Stephanie isn't a threat to anyone. Blizzard was, but she's gone now." After Rin comforted Stephanie, the hidden police squad came out and cautiously approached the young women. Rin thought she had to do more than a little convincing to get the men to not arrest the unfortunate waitress. To her surprise, they were more understanding than she expected. At least, their man in charge was. He held his people back long enough to determine Rin's former enemy really wasn't so dangerous. Rin turned to the head officer. "You believe me, don't you?" She asked. The man nodded.

"From what we've seen and heard, Stephanie here was more of a victim than a perpetrator. She does seem remorseful for what happened. Plus," he turned his gaze at the Duel Shrine. "The Duel Shrine is undamaged. So technically, we can't charge her for property damage or even attempted murder. She is completely clean."

Rin and Stephanie looked at one another, happy and relieved that the latter wasn't going to be arrested. It was better than they could have expected. "That's great news. Thank you officer." Stephanie told him gratefully. "And again, I am so very sorry for everything Blizzard did and tried to do." The officer smiled and nodded.

"No apologies necessary, Ms. Cloud. However, I suggest you come back to HQ with us to give your statement to our superiors." Stephanie nodded.

"Of course." She then turned to Rin. "Can you come with me please? Both as a witness, and a friend?" Rin nodded.

"Sure." With that, Rin, Stephanie, and the police squad began to head out to put this mess behind them. "Would you like to ride with me on my D-Wheel? I have a spare helmet and there is room for one more." Rin offered. Stephanie thought about it for a second.

"Sounds like fun. Why not?" After both of them mounted on Winter Breeze with their helmets on, Rin revved up the engine and followed the police van parked nearby out onto the city streets.

As they rode, Rin hoped Yugo and the rest of her friends were alright and were all successful in stopping the other Elites. One thing she felt for sure was that when the time came to go after Divine, they would need to be ready. 'I feel that our battle with him may be the toughest one of all.'

To be continued.
