Hello all Storm here with chapter two! Here we'll be starting off with a six year timeskip, along with seeing how Naruko and Tayuya have grown over the years since losing their parents. So, without further ado.

I own nothing

Grunting, Tayuya jumped up grabbing hold of a ledge on the building she was climbing, pulling herself up to the next spot. Catching herself when her foot slipped before she jumped up again, grabbing another handhold. Before the redhead looked down at her sister and their friends, Kiba Inuzuka, Chōji Akimichi and Shikamaru Nara.

"We're almost there, so hurry up dumbasses! You too, Naruko." Tayuya said, not wanting them to lose any time in reaching their destination.

"Ugh, I can't believe we're doing this Akamaru." Kiba said while looking at his puppy in his hoodie, Akamaru barking in agreement.

"Troublesome redheads, she's going to get us killed one day." Muttered Shikamaru, not believing he let himself be talked into this.

"I heard that, you lazy fuck!" Said Tayuya, making the Nara sigh again as he kept climbing.

Once she reached the roof, Tayuya took a moment to catch her breath as she looked out at the view they got from being above everything.

"Hey, Naruko. Come take a look." Tayuya said, knowing her sister will love this.

Climbing up after her sister, Naruko looked around in amazement when she reached the roof. Walking up to stand beside her sister as they both took in the sight before them.

"Whoa." Muttered Naruko, looking around at everything they could see, with Tayuya smirking slightly as she glanced at her little sister.

She'd gotten taller over the years, being almost a head shorter than Tayuya. Though being much thinner and slender than most kids her age would be, something that's unfortunately expected growing up in the Undercity.

Naruko also preferred keeping her hair long with it now going down to just below her shoulders, with hastily cut bangs and numerous intricate clips. She had also changed from keeping it in pigtails to a single braid on the back of her head.

With her now wearing a short-sleeved blue top over a striped, orange undershirt, short brown pants, long light brown socks, and simple brown shoes. Along with having some pouches strapped to her waist and one of her gadgets.

Tayuya had also grown taller, as well as being fitter than her sister due to her training and getting into fights. With her keeping her hair shorter but still reaching down to her shoulders, along with her usual black hat.

Her attire consisted of an off-white sleeveless shirt, a maroon-colored vest with a dark pink hood, a fingerless glove on her left hand along with some leather straps and bandages wrapped around her right hand and forearm, brownish-purple pants and brown boots. With her also having a large bag strapped to her back, big enough for them to carry away a large haul.

Looking back at the view, both sisters took in the sight of Konohagakure, though it was more of a sprawling city than any normal village. With buildings as far as they could see, along with a massive river and bay that went all the way to the ocean. Something that had apparently been suggested and overseen by Tobirama Senju himself, as a means to increase trading to and from Konoha. Allowing for trading by land, sea and the air, thanks to airships.

There was also a network of train tracks going in and around the city, with more expanding outwards across the land, even across the bay and sea from what they've heard. It was called the Thunder Rail, a train network that was a newer addition to Konoha that allowed for faster travel to different countries and cities.

Before an airship flew overhead getting their attention, with Naruko looking at it in amazement.

"One day, I'm gonna ride in one of those things." Naruko stated, dreaming of the chance to ride an airship, to be above everything on the ground.

"And one day, I'm gonna shoot one of 'em down." Said Kiba, aiming his fingers at the airship imagining shooting one out of the sky.

Rolling her eyes, Tayuya moved Kiba out of the way as she jumped down to a lower roof with the others following after her.

"Tayuya, are you sure about this? If we get caught-" Choji said, nervous at the idea of them getting caught, knowing how much trouble they'll get in if anyone finds out what they're doing.

"We're not gonna get caught. We'll be in and out before anyone notices." Said Tayuya, aware of the danger, but as long as they did everything right then no one will even know they were here.

Moving across the roof, Tayuya looked down to see a gutter and balcony, glancing at the roof across the street and seeing they'll be able to make it.

"Alright, everybody, follow me. Just don't look down." Tayuya said as she slid down the roof landing on the gutter before jumping towards the balcony.

Grabbing the top of it, Tayuya stepped over the railing before dropping down to stand on the edge, spinning around to face the roof. As the redhead then jumped across the street and landed on the roof, letting out a breath once she was standing on it. Turning towards the others, Tayuya motioned them to join her, seeing they could make it.

"…Should've just gone to class today." Shikamaru muttered as he sighed, not believing he's actually wishing to be in class rather than doing this.

"Don't be such a baby, Shikamaru. Let's go Akamaru!" Kiba said, sliding down the roof onto the gutter.

Copying what Tayuya did, Kiba smirked as he soon landed on the roof before covering his face when Chōji joined them a moment later. Kicking up a few pieces of tile when he landed. The larger boy also shoved a cupcake in his mouth, having grabbed one when he saw them on the balcony.

"Okay, it was worth it." Chōji said, liking any chance to get some food.

"Couldn't we have just walked there?" Questioned Shikamaru as he jumped across soon after, wondering why they needed to risk their lives getting to this place.

He doubted anyone would even so much as glance at a group of kids, let alone even acknowledge anyone from the Undercity.

"Can't risk it. We've gotta stay out of sight for this one." Tayuya replied, knowing they might be able to get away with walking to their destination, but there's no way they'd be able to just walk away.

And this way they also make sure no one sees them or their faces, ensuring if something does go wrong, nothing can be traced back to them.

Tayuya then frowned when she didn't see Naruko join them, looking back at the roof only to see her sister frozen and looking down at the ground. With the younger Uzumaki breathing heavily at seeing how high up she was, knowing that just one mistake could leave her as a splat on the ground.

"Called it. This is on you, Tayuya." Kiba said, fully knowing that Naruko would do something to mess up the heist, it happened on every job they brought her on.

"I'll get her." Offered Chōji, only for Tayuya to stop him.

"No. Naruko, look at me." Called out Tayuya, getting her sisters attention away from the potential fall.

"What did I tell you?" Tayuya asked, reminding her of what she told Naruko before they headed out.

"That…I'm ready." Naruko replied, letting out a breath and closed her eyes to focus.

"That's right! So?" Said Tayuya, believing in her sister, that she is ready to go on jobs with them, now she just needed to prove it to the others.

Feeling more sure of herself at Tayuya's words, Naruko leaned forward before yelping as she slid down the roof landing on the gutter. Needing to then quickly jump to the balcony, almost losing her footing when she stepped on the railing.

"Phew!" Naruko muttered once she regained her balance, moving down to the edge and turned towards the roof.

Now confident she could make it after coming this far, Naruko jumped across to the others, feeling proud when she jumped onto the roof. Only to yelp again when she stumbled backwards, panicking when she felt herself falling backwards off the roof. Before Tayuya quickly moved and grabbed her arm, stopping Naruko's fall, much to her relief when she saw how close she came to falling.

"Thanks." Said Naruko, turning back to her sister with Tayuya smirking slightly as she pulled her back up, the younger Uzumaki holding onto her to steady herself.

Glancing at the others, Tayuya tilted her head as they continued on their way. With Kiba unable to help but roll his eyes and scoff once she wasn't looking. Already knowing something's gonna go wrong with Naruko around.

*Later*

The group soon reached their destination, shimming along the roof directly over a balcony. All of them, besides Tayuya, now feeling nervous at their current position.

"What if Kakashi finds out we're up here?" Chōji asks, knowing they'll be in so much trouble if Kakashi learns what they were doing.

"Forget Kakashi! My mom's gonna kill you then me when she finds out, and she will find out." Said Shikamaru, having learned it's impossible to hide anything from his mother.

"Quit being such a baby, Shikamaru. You don't see me scared of my mom and Hana." Kiba said, rolling his eyes at the Nara's fear.

"You've never been on the receiving end of a frying pan." Shikamaru retorted.

"He just had to clean out the kennels…and sleep in them." Said Naruko, smirking while getting an annoyed glare from Kiba.

"Zip it, runt!" Said Kiba, only for Naruko to stick her tongue out at him.

"All of you zip it. Just look around you, you think any of these asshole topside will miss a few pieces of junk. That any of them up here are going hungry." Tayuya said, hating the sight of Konoha and everything they had, while those in the Undercity had to fight for every scrap of food, clothes and shelter to survive.

This made the others fall silent, knowing the redhead was right, everyone on the topside had more than enough of everything. So much so that most of it ended up getting tossed aside, being left as runoff to fall into the Undercity. That's all anyone down below expected to get, nothing but what topsiders tossed out and didn't want anymore.

"Besides, this is exactly the sort of job Kakashi would've pulled when he was our age." Stated Tayuya, having heard plenty of jobs Kakashi had gone when he was their age, some of which being a lot more dangerous than just some stealing.

"I'm going. Are you with me or not?" Tayuya demanded once they were directly over the balcony doors.

Trading looks with each other, Kiba shrugged. Refusing to back out now that they've come this far. All while Shikamaru sighed.

"Kakashi's gonna kill us." Chōji muttered, but didn't plan on leaving either.

"Yeah, only if we fuck up. So don't fuck up." Said Tayuya, giving them all a look.

Before the redhead swung underneath the roof and onto the balcony, moving quietly as she peeked in through the door and windows, checking to see if it was empty.

"All clear." Tayuya called out once she was sure the room was empty, letting the others join her, with Kiba going up to the door only to find it locked.

"Who locks their balcony?" Kiba said in disbelief, wondering who would lock a balcony this high up off the ground.

"Clearly someone that doesn't want intruders. Let me." Said Shikamaru, taking out his lockpick to open the door.

"Oh man. There are tons of Anbu down there." Said Chōji upon looking down at the ground and seeing plenty of Anbu, the law enforcement of Konoha, patrolling the streets.

"Means we're in the right place." Tayuya stated, knowing the more Anbu around, the more important a place was to warrant so much protection.

"You gonna get that door open any time soon?" Questioned Tayuya, looking at Shikamaru impatiently.

"I'm working on it. And since I'm the only one who knows how to pick locks, I suggest-" Shikamaru said, turning the dials on the pick to find the right alignment for the lock.

Only to be cutoff when Tayuya suddenly kicked the door open, not interested in wasting time when whoever lived here could come back at any moment.

"…Troublesome redheads." Muttered Shikamaru, putting his pick away as they entered the room.

"What the hell…is this place?" Kiba said, looking around the room with wide eyes.

Seeing numerous devices scattered around or hanging from the ceiling, a large chalkboard covering nearly an entire wall with writing none of them could make any sense of. Bookshelves filled with numerous books and tomes, a desk with scattered papers and a hall leading to the rest of the penthouse.

"Chōji, you were right. We're definitely not supposed to be here." Shikamaru said while looking around at the papers, not understanding any of it or what it's for, which is saying something since he's the smartest of the group.

Grabbing some devices, Shikamaru looked them over to see what they were for. Before shrugging and tossing them in the bag. With Choji emptying a drawer into the bag after seeing more valuable-looking items inside.

Going over to the bookshelves, Naruko looked around and checked them out to see what she could find. Smiling happily when she saw a metal unicorn, which she put in the bag.

"Probably some inventor. What exactly they're trying to invent, who fucking knows." Tayuya said, being able to guess who lived here.

"Huh." Naruko hummed, intrigued to hear an inventor might live here, wondering if she could find anything useful for her own gadgets before her eyes widened when she spotted something.

"Whoa, I think this is a real Valdiani." Naruko said, looking it over and pressing a button, causing it to open up much to her amazement at the craftmanship.

"Oh yeah? What about this!" Said Kiba, smirking as he held a device, only for the Uzumaki look at him dryly.

"That's a nose hair trimmer." Naruko stated, closing the Valdiani, causing Kiba's expression to fall at learning what he found.

"Keep an eye out for anything of value, Naruko. Before dog boy fills the bag with junk." Tayuya said. giving the Inuzuka a look when she saw him trying to use the nose hair trimmer on himself.

"Arf!" Akamaru barked at Kiba, getting his attention.

"What? I was just curious." Said Kiba, looking at Akamaru as he tossed the trimmer behind him.

"Arf!" Barking again, Akamaru jumped out of Kiba's hoodie onto the desk, moving some of the papers aside.

"Huh? You find something Akamaru?" Kiba asked, going over to see what he found, only for his eyes to widen at the strange device underneath.

Not seeing anything significant about it, except for the bluish-green stone that looked embedded in the center of it. The sight leaving the Inuzuka more than a little unnerved, just feeling something…off about the stone, doubting it's an ordinary rock.

"Uh…guys." Said Kiba, getting their attention as they came over, seeing the strange device and stone.

"Tayuya, tell us again, how the hell did we find this place?" Shikamaru asked while looking at the stone warily, even more so when Kiba tried touching it only for it to emit what looked like electricity, shocking the Inuzuka.

"It was a tip from Bowlcut." Tayuya said, feeling unnerved herself, having not heard anything about what this place was or what was inside.

Only learning where it was located, how to get here and that whoever lived here had a lot of money to spare.

"Bowlcut? Lee? How the hell did Lee learn about-" Kiba asked before Tayuya cut him off.

"Just leave it. Come on" Said Tayuya, not interested in any freaky stuff that was glowing or emitting electricity.

Glancing at her sister and friends, Naruko looked down the hallway to see another door. Making her curious of what was inside, if there'd be anything valuable inside.

Opening the door, Naruko saw what looked like a bedroom turned into another workshop, making her eager to see what she could find. Grabbing a few things off the desk and putting them in her pouch, Naruko grabbed one of the books and began flipping through it seeing it's a journal.

'Blah, blah, blah…Chakra…stone…Gelel…' Naruko thought, not seeing anything inside that really stood out until something got her attention.

Dropping the journal, Naruko smiled eagerly when she saw some sandwiches had been left out on the table. Taking one, the Uzumaki eagerly began eating it, not remembering the last time she had something this good.

Though her attention then went to something underneath some blueprints, moving them aside to see a decent sized chest.

'A chest, ooooohh. I bet there's definitely something good inside.' Thought Naruko, eager to add this to their haul.

Unfortunately, when she tried lifting it, Naruko grunted when she could barely move it let alone lift it up off the table.

'Okay…maybe find a way to open it, then take what's inside.' Naruko thought, feeling around the chest for a button or latch that could open it.

Soon finding one on the back, she pressed it before stepping back in surprise when the chest opened up. Her eyes widening when she saw six strange bluish-green stones inside. Along with spots where more had been but were now gone.

"Woah." Naruko whispered in amazement as she grabbed one to get a closer look.

Looking over the stone, Naruko saw how rough the surface was and how it looked like it was glowing on the inside of it. Like it was a shell containing something.

'Cool.' Thought Naruko, not entirely sure what these stones were, but she wanted them.

While in the workshop, the others had grabbed everything they could that looked valuable, with Tayuya looking through the bag. Feeling pleased at how much they were able to get, already imagining how much they'll be able to make from selling it.

'Kakashi won't even be able to be mad at us after seeing this haul.' Tayuya thought while smirking, catching another item Kiba tossed at her for the collection.

But before she put it in the bag, Tayuya froze when she heard the sound of something falling to the ground, something that wasn't in the room. The redhead turned towards the door, listening closely until she heard the sound of approaching footsteps. Her eyes widening when she saw someone walk in front of the door, through the glass.

"Kiba!" Tayuya hissed, shooting up to her feet rushing to get her sister, knowing they needed to leave now.

Nodding, Kiba instantly got up from his seat, grabbing the chair and rushed forward. Sticking it under the door handle, stopping whoever it was just in time from opening the door.

"Naruko, we gotta go!" Tayuya said quietly to Naruko.

Startled from her sister's voice, Naruko quickly grabbed the rest of the stones. Seeing she didn't have time to look for anything else. Putting them in her pouch as she ran out of the room, not noticing she dropped one or how it began sparking as it bounced on the ground.

"Hello? Is someone in there?"

Hearing the person's voice, Tayuya grabbed Naruko's arm running for the balcony. Not sure how long it'd take for the place's owner to force the door open.

"Come on!" Shikamaru whispered while waving his arm at them to hurry up.

"We'll be fine. Just get back on the roof." Tayuya said, grabbing the bag and closing it, knowing once they were on the roof they'd be out of sight and home free.

Though before anyone could react an explosion from the other room rocked the entire building, through the kids back from the force of it. While Tayuya, being the closest to it, was sent skidding out onto the balcony, grunting when she hit the railing.

"What…the hell…was that?!" Kiba said, coughing from the smoke, not believing what just happened.

Getting back up to her feet, Tayuya ran over to them. Seeing if anyone was hurt, only to then hear the floor cracking. Turning to see blue electric-like energy surging through the wall and floor as it all began collapsing.

"Hold on!" Tayuya said, holding onto the railing to keep herself steady, the others doing the same as they watched in disbelief as the building fell apart.

Once the shaking stopped and it didn't look like the entire building would collapse, Tayuya looked at the destruction with wide eyes before slowly moving closer. Wondering what could've caused this, mentally cursing when she looked over the edge to see the Anbu down below.

"Fuck!" Tayuya muttered as she heard a siren going off, knowing they needed to get out of here quickly.

"Get to the ground now and run!" Tayuya exclaimed to the others, running and jumping over the railing to the nearest building before making her way down to the ground.

"But the Anbu!" Chōji said, believing they'll be caught even faster on the ground.

"They already saw us! Now we need to get to the bridge as fast as possible! So, move it!" Tayuya said, with the others all quickly following her lead to the ground.

The moment their feet were on the ground the kids took off running, moving as fast as they could with the Anbu in pursuit of them.

"Stop right there!" An Anbu shouted while throwing a restraint at them, only for it to wrap around a lamp post.

"Faster!" Yelled Tayuya as they ran through a crowded plaza, jumping down some stairs to get as much distance between themselves and the Anbu.

"Above us!" Kiba said, seeing some Anbu on a bridge above them, throwing another restraint that almost hit Naruko's legs.

"You can't get away!" Said an Anbu as they pursued the thieves.

'Like hell we won't, assholes!' Tayuya thought when she saw the bridge coming into view and could see that it was already starting to be raised to try cutting them off.

Pushing anyone in front of them out of the way, the kids ran as fast as they could go. Managing to get across the bridge before it was too late. Unfortunately, some Anbu also made it across and continued the chase.

"Tayuya?!" Naruko exclaimed while looking at her sister, freaking out that the Anbu were still after them.

Knowing they needed an escape, or it was over.

"Just keep running! This way!" Said Tayuya, turning down a street towards an alley, being familiar with the streets enough to know where it'd go and help them escape the Anbu.

Grunting as they ran into a wall getting down the alley, the kids followed Tayuya as she punched a pipe, breaking it and releasing a cloud of steam to slow down the Anbu.

Turning down another alley while the Anbu's view was blocked, they soon reached a sewer grate which the redheaded Uzumaki ripped out, making Kiba gag at the smell.

"Ugh! Not again I just got my jacket clea-" Kiba said, having hoped to never do this again, only to scream when Tayuya kicked him down it.

"Son of a…" Muttered Shikamaru before groaning as he jumped down with Chōji following after him.

"Come on!" Tayuya said, grabbing Naruko and putting her down next before going down last.

Sliding through the tunnel, the kids soon fell out on top of a pile of trash. Kiba, Shikamaru and Chōji grunting as they ended up landing on top of each other, with Naruko yelping when she came out rolling down the pile.

"Ugh, sick! I thought last time was the last time we were gonna do that." Kiba said gagging while throwing a piece of half-eaten lettuce off his head, hating when they had to go through the sewers.

Not only for how disgusting it was, but his enhanced sense of smell made it ten times worse. A sentiment Akamaru shared as he buried his face in Kiba's hoodie to try and block the smell.

"Well, this time's the last time." Stated Tayuya, preferring swimming through trash over being caught by Anbu.

"Guys! What was that?! What the hell happened back there?!" Chōji asked, still freaked out at how and why the building suddenly exploded, while also wondering what could've caused it.

Only for no one to have an answer until they all turned towards Naruko, much to her indignation.

"I don't know! I didn't do anything!" Naruko said, not liking how they all automatically thought she did it, unaware of the stone she dropped had caused the explosion.

"You could fill a damn library with all the things you didn't do." Retorted Kiba, having heard her claim the same thing more times than he could count, yet she was always somehow responsible.

"How about we just be glad we didn't get blown up with the building." Said Shikamaru, just glad all of them are still alive.

"The lazy bum is right. And are you forgetting? We just emptied out a Konoha penthouse right under the Anbu's noses. So, if you're done acting like a bunch of whiny babies, let's get this home." Tayuya said, looking at what they achieved.

She didn't care how or why the explosion happened; they escaped the Anbu with their biggest score yet. That's a win as far as she's concerned.

*Later*

Grunting, Tayuya forced open the sewer hatch as she stepped out. Pulling Naruko up next and grabbing the bag from Chōji as they climbed out of the sewer.

Making their way to the lift to get to the Undercity, while occasionally checking to make sure there weren't any of the Anbu that had been chasing them were still around. The group felt they were in the clear, though Tayuya couldn't shake the feeling they were still being followed.

'What're they planning?' Tayuya thought, glancing at someone sitting on a crate.

"Nice haul?" The person asked casually as they passed by.

"You could say that." Kiba replied, smirking, unable to help but want to brag at their success.

Getting an annoyed look from Tayuya that he had to open his mouth.

"I heard there was some action across the river. Someone uh, someone really kicked the nest, huh?" Said the teenager, making Tayuya frown that news has already spread this quickly.

"Is that so?" Questioned Tayuya, turning to leave, only to find their path blocked by two other teens as the first chuckled at them trying to leave.

"But now you're tracking this mess of yours through my streets." He said as he got up as the rest of his followers surrounded them.

"Your streets? What makes you think-" Tayuya said, now ready to make the little shit eat his own teeth, before Shikamaru and Chōji stopped her.

"Listen, come on. None of us really want trouble, right? It'd be troublesome for all of us." Said Shikamaru, wanting to defuse the situation.

"Yeah, we're just leaving alright. We go our way; you guys go your way." Chōji suggested, not wanting things to turn into a fight.

"Hear that, Hibachi? They don't want any trouble." Said one of the boys.

"You know, in my experience, trouble finds you." Sneered Hibachi, having heard about them and knew they attracted all kinds of trouble for the rest of the Lanes, before he shrugged.

"But I guess you're right, there's no need for this to get ugly. How about you share a little taste of your treasure there and we'll call it even?" Hibachi offered, though intended to take all of it anyway, wanting anything of value that they found.

"No, no, no! We worked too hard to…" Said Kiba, refusing to let any of them take anything after all they did to get this haul.

Before he fell silent when Tayuya put a hand on his shoulder and walked up to Hibachi with her head down, much to their disbelief she's actually agreeing.

"Just a taste?" Tayuya asked, glancing up, making Hibachi smirk at the victory.

"Just a-" Replied Hibachi before grunting when Tayuya slammed the bag into his head, sending him to the ground.

"There's your taste, Fuckface!" Said Tayuya, throwing the bag to Naruko to hold, intending to deal with Hibachi and the rest of these stooges.

"Great." Shikamaru muttered as he, Chōji and Kiba got ready for a fight.

One of the boys shouted and lunged at Kiba tackling him to the ground, with the Inuzuka raising his arms to block the punches. Until Akamaru jumped out of his hoodie biting the boy's nose, making him scream in pain before Kiba punched him in the head.

While Chōji shoved a boy away, allowing Shikamaru to kick his legs out from under him as Chōji then lifted up another that tried grabbing him from behind. Slamming him on top of the first boy before kicking them while they were down, keeping them from getting up.

Scowling in anger at the hit as he got up, Hibachi ran at Tayuya, throwing a punch at her which she blocked before she then shoved him back. Only to grunt when he then delivered a left hook to her face, tasting blood in her mouth from the hit.

As this happened, Naruko had backed away until she hit a wall, looking around with a panicked expression at the fighting. Not being a fighter, like her sister and the others, nor was she as big or strong as them. This, along with Tayuya usually shielding her from anyone that did come after her left the blonde Uzumaki to simply do her best to not get in the way.

Only for her eyes to widen in fear when Chōji threw one of the boys on the ground, right in front of her, even more so when the boy looked at her. Not knowing what else to do, Naruko quickly got up, putting the bag strap over her chest and took off running down an alley. The boy chasing after her, intent to get the bag.

Grunting as he crashed into a wall, Kiba quickly threw his elbow back hitting his opponent in the chest knocking them back, delivering another elbow strike to their face. Pushing them back against a wall, allowing him to begin repeatedly punching him in the stomach.

Tayuya, meanwhile, gasped and held her stomach when Hibachi punched her hard enough to knock the wind out of her. Before gritting her teeth as he then gave her an uppercut sending the redhead stumbling back. Though she recovered fast enough dodging Hibachi's next strike before lunging forward and grabbing him as she then smashed her knee into his chest.

Not stopping there, Tayuya grabbed him by his hair and threw him into a crate as she then went up and stomped on his head, shattering the crate from the impact.

"How's your street taste, dumbass?" Tayuya said, spitting out some blood, before glancing at the others to see how they're doing.

Seeing Chōji be thrown against a wall before Shikamaru punched his opponent in the back of the head, sending him stumbling into the Akimichi. And right into a handful of dirt thrown into his face by Chōji before he got up. Shouting as he grabbed the boy and slammed him into the ground.

Before she saw Kiba be knocked to the ground, making Tayuya look around for something until she saw one of the broken boards from the crate. Grabbing it, the Uzumaki broke it off and rushed over to Kiba. Smacking his opponent in the face with the board, allowing the Inuzuka to get up.

Lifting the boy's head to see he wasn't getting up, Tayuya dropped the board as Chōji tossed the last one on the ground beside his friend.

"You know, this day's turning out alright after all." Kiba stated as he got up dusting himself off, feeling rather pleased with what's happened.

They were able to get a nice haul, escape the Anbu, now they got to beat up some losers before getting home.

"Hey!" Hibachi said, getting up as he pulled out a knife, refusing to let them get away with this, not after humiliating him.

Narrowing her eyes at the sight, Tayuya walked up to Hibachi leaning down as she glanced between him and his knife.

"Wanna see how that ends?" Tayuya asked, fully intending to put him down permanently if he thought he could take out a weapon against her and not face the consequences.

Glaring at her, though unable to stop shaking from the look in Tayuya's eyes. Seeing that she was fully prepared to kill him if he made another move, Hibachi backing away before he took off running. Knowing this wasn't a fight he could win, anymore.

'Bitch.' Tayuya thought with a scoff, only to frown when she looked around seeing someone was missing.

"Where's Naruko?" Tayuya asked, not seeing her sister anywhere in sight.

*With Naruko*

'Gotta run, gotta run, gotta run!' Naruko thought repeatedly as she kept running from her pursuer, not wanting to be caught or let him get everything she and the others grabbed.

Squeezing through a pile of crates, Naruko knocked them down to hopefully stop him or at least slow him down as she continued running.

Turning down a few more alleys, Naruko grunted as she pushed through some boxes before finding herself at the docks. Her eyes widening when she turned a corner only to find a dead end. Forcing her to simply press herself against the wall, holding the bag tightly, hoping she won't be found.

Risking a peek around the corner, Naruko flinched at seeing the boy looking for her. Only to see she bumped into some wooden planks. Panicking as they fell, despite her attempts to catch them, before retreating behind the corner again.

'Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit!' Naruko thought before grabbing her gadget, taking the top off along with a container of screws and nails which she poured inside.

"Come on, Mouser, I need you!" Naruko begged as she closed it, hoping her bomb would work for once, tossing it around the corner at the boy.

Watching as it rolled across the dock to the boy's feet, Naruko bit her lip. Hoping that her work would finally pay off and one of her bombs would finally work. Only for her hope to fade when it went off, only letting out a cloud of pink smoke rather than explode.

"No." Naruko whispered in despair, knowing that was her only chance, backing away at the boy chuckled cruelly at seeing she didn't have anything left.

Breathing heavily in panic and fear, Naruko tried thinking of something, anything, she could do to stop or distract him long enough to escape. Until she glanced down at the bags strap across her chest, getting an idea but knowing how angry the others would be.

Though not having any options left, Naruko unhooked the strap and tossed the bag into the water, getting the boy's attention as he ran to grab it. Giving the Uzumaki a chance to run past him and escape, while having no idea how she's going to explain this to her sister and the others.

So, what did you think, good. Yep we see Naruko and Tayuya heading out on a heist with help from Kiba, Shikamaru and Chōji, along with getting a look at how different Konoha is compared to the normal timeline, how much it's grown and evolved since its founding.

With things going similar to Arcane, with a few differences, the most important being the gemstones Naruko finds, rather than being magical they're instead unrefined Stones of Gelel, different from Hextech Gemstones but just as dangerous with what they can do. Likely even more so with everything else Gelel Stones are capable of.

As we see Naruko unintentionally and unknowingly triggers an explosion, alerting the Anbu and leading to a chase through the streets. Until the kids manage to escape through the sewers, all of them freaked out over what happened to cause the explosion. Thinking Naruko's responsible, much to her indignation, before Tayuya stops them from fighting, instead focusing on their success.

Finally we see them making their way back home, only for Tayuya to feel like they're being followed, until they're stopped by some street thugs lead by Hibachi. Leading to a fight when he tries taking their haul, with Naruko running off with the bag being chased by one of the boys. While Tayuya and the others manage to deal with Hibachi and his followers, only to see Naruko missing.

As we see Naruko attempting to escape her pursuer, only to be cornered and left helpless when he bomb fails to work. Leaving her to throw the bag into the bay to distract the boy, allowing her the chance to flee, fully knowing the others won't be happy at what she's done. So, for those that like the story, thanks for your support. For those that don't or at least don't like the direction taken, you're more than welcomed to drop the story. But thanks for giving the story a chance anyway.
