Author's Note: Welcome back everyone to The Loud 10: Omnitrix Team Adventures! Now, we're off to part 2 of the Season 4 premiere! First off, I would like to once again thank the KwingsLetsPlay YouTube for the Ghostbusters Video Game Remastered inspiration, as the Omnitrix Team will help the Ghostbusters find a way to deal with this new threat. And with the Omnitrix Team's help & respective powers & abilities, the Ghostbusters might have less trouble than usual. Plus, I'll try to make this chapter shorter than the previous one. Anyway, time for Part 2! Here we go!
S4: 2:
The Omnitrix Team drove Camperzilla back to the Ghostbusters' firehouse and Ilysa was there too. And that's when they started asking her questions. Right after the Omnitrix Team had dinner in Camperzilla of course.
"I can't believe Gozer would have a culture within that of Sumerian." Julie responded from hearing about Ilysa's career.
"I can't believe they would have wanted to add a museum exhibit and her as an expert on that stuff." Rex added while the Omnitrix Team was back in their superhero suits.
"You and the Omnitrix Team are aware we have some... history with Gozer." Egon figured.
"Yes, of course." Ilysa agreed.
"Gozer was a bush-leaguer before he met us. A strictly-farm deity! We put him on the map!" Ray said.
"But getting stiffed on invites for opening night... just an oversight, right?" Peter brought up.
"The Ghostbusters got stiffed on the invites, Ilysa?" Lincoln looks in confusion.
"I don't have anything to do with that." Ilysa assured when a voice familiar to Julie, Jazz, Kevin & the Ghostbusters came in.
"That, gentlemen, was all me! And I can assure you, it was not an oversight!" A man came up.
"Who's that guy?" Ronnie Anne asked.
"Walter Peck." Jazz, Julie & Kevin all answered.
"Can't say I've heard of him. Something about wanting to shut done the Ghostbusters for years just because he thinks their frauds doesn't believe in ghosts." Isa said.
"And yet, we saw and met the alien kind of ghosts. That's just sad." Kevin commented.
"Dad told me about. Said Peck was an Environmental Protection Agency's inspector." Chase mentioned.
"More like the Environmental Protection Agency's butt cheek!" Jazz insulted.
"Walter Peck. I did not recognize the mayor's backside attached to your nose." Peter insulted Peck.
"Okay... Everyone put 'em back in their skivvies." The mayor arrived with a chuckled.
"And that's the mayor. He's old but he's still kicking." Kevin whispered to his teammates while the mayor.
"He's even mentioning me, Ilysa & Gozer in excitement." Julie whispers herself.
"Hold on, guys. Check it out." Chase points to the mayor.
"Listen. Here's the deal. While the Omnitrix Team does their uh, hero work, you and Peck and all you guy are gonna work together." The mayor decided.
"What?!" Peter looks in shock.
"No way, no how..." Ray objects.
"Impossible." Egon joined in.
"Look. This city has given you at least a dozen contracts for jails, courthouses and wharves. You guys want to be one of the Omnitrix Team's predecessors by as you grow your business. Became inspiration for the host of "Arrrgh!". Get some county and state work too. I'm all for it. You've been big supporters, and great for my campaign, like the other heroes in New York, like the Gargoyle clan, the Avengers, & even Spiderman." The mayor said.
"Well, some said theirs and our endorsements is what got you elected." Ray mentioned.
"But not out loud, no pun intended to one of the kids. Anyway, after all the damage you've all been through causing lately, the city council wants you under close supervision for a period of no less than six months! Even while you're mentoring or guiding the Omnitrix Team temporarily for the week!" The mayor continued.
"We always filed reports on time. Plus, we got the Omnitrix Team who we called to help us. There's no need for extra supervision." Peter said.
"Hahaha! Funny guy, Venkman! You've always been my favorite." The mayor laughed. "That's where your old friend Peck comes in. He' annoying, a stickler for the rules. In other words, he's the perfect "Peck" for the job. He's our new head of P-COC!" He mentioned.
"P-COC!" Ray looks in confusion.
"What?" Kevin looks at the rest of the Omnitrix Team.
"I think it's short for Paranormal Oversights Oversight Commission." Kai pondered.
"Bet he wants to use that to take the Ghostbusters' license. Which you'd be amazed is still going." Jazz figured when the mayor left.
"So! Now that we're all friends, can we get invites to the Museum opening?" Ray asked.
"Not likely. But I'll be seeing you soon. You can count on that." Peck denied before he left.
"And I thought Will Harangue was annoying." Lincoln deadpanned.
"Oh yeah! /Seriously/ Very annoying/ I always wanna punch that guy/Definitely/ That's what I said/ Uh-huh!" The rest of the Omnitrix Team agreed.
Later that night, the Omnitrix Team was back in Camperzilla. And they decided to do things their own way as usual, while helping the Ghostbusters.
"Ok. Let's just be clear that we're not doing anything this Peck guy wants." Ronnie Anne decided.
"Yep. And we have our ways of dealing with dangerous threats before. The Ghostbusters could use extra help dealing with this one." Chase said.
"First Slimer, then those ghosts from the Sedgewick Hotel, then ghosts of construction workers & opera casts, and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. They came all because of that energy pulse. Lumi sensed something about it. But what?" Julie looks at her Kwanjin.
"Perhaps, I can see if I can find an answer." A familiar voice was heard as it was no one other than Azmuth.
"Azmuth?" Lincoln recognized.
"Wait. Azmuth is here. Does that mean something important has happened?" Ronnie Anne guessed.
"Indeed, something did happen. And considering Lincoln wields my Omnitrix, I figured you'd be arriving at the source of this problem." Azmuth spoke.
"You think it involves Lumi and this Gozer guy that the Ghostbusters fought years ago?" Kiera asked.
"I may not know much about it like your new allies or Professor Paradox himself, but he did put some input. You see according to Paradox, Gozer was a Sumerian deity who feared Lady Rose & Black Claw's powers, afraid either one could defeat him with ease, something that one of Julie's predecessors did. Considering one of the minds of the Ghostbusters created the technology used to defeat Gozer without the help of either warrior, I wouldn't be surprised if by helping the Ghostbusters & their tech, the power of the current Lady Rose which is Julie Hathaway and the Omnitrix, you can defeat whatever is behind this dangerous threat." Azmuth explained.
"Guess that means us, Julie. All of us." Lincoln said.
"And now we even have the proton pack Egon gave me." Isa added knowing what her proton pack can do to ghosts.
"Lumi, this is what you sensed, right?" Julie asked.
"Yep." Lumi nodded while Azmuth inspecting the Omnitrix.
"Alright. Just made sure the Omnitrix's functions can detect the energy the Ghostbusters' equipment can. That would give an advantage whenever you search around for any activity here, even when you transform." Azmuth finished adjusting the Omnitrix.
"Thanks, Azmuth. I could use the help." Lincoln thanked.
"I shall take my leave now. But I hope my information was enough for assistance. Good luck." Azmuth teleported away back to Galvin Prime.
"Where do we start?" Catalina asked.
"Guess wherever the Ghostbusters are called too. We can be their backup, and extra fire power like we were earlier." Jazz shrugged.
"But let's do that in the morning. I'm ready to go to bed." Rex yawned.
"Yeah. If we wanna help the Ghostbusters with their new ghost problem, I'd rather be well rested for it." Kevin agreed before they all went to sleep.
The next day, the Omnitrix Team has sent Kiera & Catalina to go with Lincoln, Julie & Isa and the Ghostbusters with them were Ray, Egon & Winston to the library. And that's when a lion statue exploded, revealing two ghost-like creatures.
"Look out! There they go!" Winston alerted.
"Whoa! Double full torso animators!" Ray identified the ghost-like creatures who flew into the library. "Come on! After them!" He told.
"You heard Stantz! Let's move." Winston said as they all went inside.
"There they are!" Egon sees the animators fly up the second floor.
"What kind of ghosts are they?" Kiera looks in shock.
"Couple of Class-five animators. Never seen them in tandem like that! They're really agitated." Ray classified as the Omnitrix Team climbed up the stairs.
"He's right about that." Lincoln responded while Ray & Egon talk about a new set on the Proton Pack: The Stasis Stream.
"The Stasis Stream will temporarily slow down paranormal entities. If you can train the stream on the target long enough, you can actually stop it entirely!" Ray instructed.
"You mean like this?" Isa shoots a blue stream at the wall.
"Ooh!" Julie watched amazed before manifesting pink proton packs for Kiera & Catalina while adding the stasis stream.
"Cool! A freeze ray!" Winston looked.
"A Stasis Stream. This has nothing to do with cold. But the effects are similar." Ray said.
"When do you have the time to work on all this stuff, Egon?" Winston asked.
"I've been conducting an experiment in which I sleep an average fourteen minutes a day. Leaves me a lot of time to work." Egon answered.
"You should see what Kevin & I make during our free time." Isa smirked.
"Bet that can make a great combination with Big Chill's ice powers." Lincoln figured.
"Great! Ready to roll. Hey Lincoln. You think you and the girls can handle that little fella yourselves? We'll meet you back here." Ray asked before he & Egon left in one direction while Winston left in the other.
"Should we head back down?" Isa asked her teammates.
"Well, Lumi & the PKE meters say yes." Julie smiled as they head back down and down a hallway.
"Stay alert. Keep your PKE Meter up. Animators can hide in anything." Ray warned from his end of the walkie talkie.
"Thanks for the advice, Ray." Kiera sarcastically responded as she, Catalina, Lincoln, Julie & Isa follow the PKE Meters.
Moments later, as everyone heads into the library's reading room, the five Omnitrix Team members were on the ground floor of it, while the Ray & Egon were on the balcony. That's when the animator the Ghostbusters were chasing came out of nowhere.
"Found him!" Catalina watches as the animator turned itself into a golem made entirely out of books.
"Woah! First kitchen materials and now books!" Julie noticed.
"Now that is a fine example of a Level Six Bi-Dimensional Attractor." Egon identified when the book golem attacked the Omnitrix Team.
"Egon! Did I mention what a good idea you had to come up on the balcony?" Ray asked.
"Really?! Not cool!" Kiera scowled while she & her teammates tried to dodge and avoid getting hit.
"Slow it down somehow!" Egon told.
"Shoot & fight now! Be mad at Egon & Ray later!" Isa reminded as she and the two sisters start shooting boson darts.
"Lincoln, anything in the Omnitrix that can help?" Julie manifested pink fists to swarm on the book golem.
"To get that thing off its head, yeah!" Lincoln dials the Omnitrix before pressing it, turning him into... "Spidermonkey!" He chittered delivering a few punches.
"Keep it up! Then we yank it!" Isa told as their capture streams were activating.
"Here goes!" Spidermonkey shoots webbing from his tail. "And go!" He signaled for them to yank the object off, making the book golem burst into pieces.
"You got it! Fantastic!" Ray approved.
"Good! Because when we leave this library, remind me to kill you!" Kiera scowled again.
"Hey check this out." Isa leads them to the spirit of a woman.
"I think it's her. Yes, yes, it is her! Eleanor Twitty, the Librarian!" Ray recognized as they all head downstairs.
"Wonder where she's going." Catalina said when they noticed the librarian shush them and disappeared before making stuff float around and fall.
"That's her! The Grey Lady! She's the first ghost we ever hunted. Man, I wish Venkman was here." Ray said.
"I'm pretty sure Venkman doesn't." Egon believed.
"That's for sure." Kiera commented.
"Easy now. She's real skittish." Ray warned.
"Why do I get the feeling things involving her are gonna get bad from here?" Spidermonkey asked as they continued down.
Moments later, everyone went down to a room of bookshelves when they suddenly moved by themselves and created a maze, cutting the five Omnitrix Team members off from the Ghostbusters.
"Okay, so much for 'stick together'-new plan is to fan out! There are two hostile spirits roaming around in here. Two that we know about." Ray said on his end of the walkie talkie.
"Well Lincoln, there's your answer." Kiera commented as a shelf opened up.
"Might as well go see what path they make." Isa figured as they saw the librarian fly out of a picture "shrieking "quiet!".
"Sheesh! Talk about cranky!" Spidermonkey commented.
"Now I got ya. What? Oh no! Kids! Look out! It's coming your way!" Ray alerted on from Isa's walkie talkie when Lincoln & the girls saw the animator which flew through the wall.
"And it's gone." Kiera said as they continued following the PKE Meters & Julie's sensing. "Glad you made these packs for me and my sister, Julie." She added.
"Of course." Julie nodded.
"Temperature's dropping. Event imminent! Brace yourselves!" Egon warned from his end.
"Thanks for the warning, Egon." Isa sarcastically thanked seeing books fall by themselves.
"Guess this librarian tried to make you do what you hated, huh sis?" Kiera gets a nod from her sister.
"Yeah. And ever since I've been given the werewolf curse, I've been learning to get stronger and more speaking." Catalina took a deep breath.
"Guys, I'm in the periodical archives looking at a stack of old newspaper clippings. All about some nut named Edmund Hoover, aka The Collector." Winston's voice was heard on his end.
"Who's that?" Spidermonkey asked as he spotted the Gray Lady/librarian for a second while he jumps from the top of the shelves.
"This dude has a history you should know about. He was a rare book collector who seduced Eleanor Twitty, the head librarian of this place." Winston explained.
"The Gray Lady?!" Ray guessed on his end.
"That would be my guess." Egon answered on his.
"Hmm. Let's keep moving. Maybe these shelves could lead us in the right direction." Julie suggested as they followed the path made by the shelves, until they reached room with computers, when something ran past them. "What was that?" She asked.
"I don't know. But I have a feeling we should get rid of it." Isa answered when they entered and found some book stacks. "Wait. Kiera's, Catalina's & my PKE Meters just went red! Something's coming!" She read her PKE Meter when they saw the creature: a monster made of paper.
"And there it is! Some kind of paper monster!" Spidermonkey presses the Omnitrix to switch into another alien. "NRG!" He shouted before punching the monster.
"I got this!" Catalina turns into her werewolf form before using her claws to rip and tear the paper monster apart.
"Thanks Catalina! That outta do it!" NRG thanked, speaking in his Russian accent.
"Yeah. Plus, I just got a scan. Its weakness is also the shock blast." Isa got a scan. "Now, we need to find our way to other side of the room." She added.
"Follow me. My ears picked up a noise from the exit." Catalina uses her enhanced hearing to lead them the other side which. "'Authorized Personnel Only'. Well, not anymore. New plan. We got this way and get my claws, your proton pack's Stasis Stream & Boson Dart modes, and your heat & radiation." She reads the sign when a bookshelf moves towards them, only to be melted by NRG's heated body.
"She's right. There's no telling what we'll run into. And since we're separated from the Ghostbusters, we're gonna have to chase that animator ourselves." NRG agreed when they saw the blue animator for a second.
"Starting now!" Kiera added in shock.
"He made a left! This way!" Catalina leads them to the left.
"Okay, guys, it's dead up here. The good kind I mean. You all cool?" Winston asked from his end of the walkie talkie.
"We may need to get back to you on that." Egon answered on his end while the Omnitrix Team members found a door blocked by book carts.
"Hold on. Stand back for a second." NRG told putting his hand on the carts before melting them with his heat.
"Looks like we entered the room where the books go when they get delivered or returned." Julie figured. "Anything?" She asked.
"Nothing yet. I wonder if Ray & Egon are having better luck than us right now." Isa searched with her meter.
"Hey, kids. What's your 20? I'm in some kind of dark tunnel, moving fast... towards a bright light." Ray's voice was heard on his end, when he flew out of one of the machines.
"Ray!" Isa said when they saw books flying around.
"Oof! Class 1 Swarmers! Pesky but combustible!" Ray identified when NRG started destroying some Swarmers while his entire body was heating up.
"Yep! That's our cue to shoot and attack!" Kiera shoots a stasis stream along with Isa.
"Totally! And 'pesky' is right!" Catalina slashes several with her claws.
"And 'combustible'!" Julie burns the rest of them with the pink fire from her yo-yo.
"Now, where's that Class-Five Animator? I tracked the slug here!" Ray asked while Isa & Kiera scanned around.
"He's in the room! Our meters are picking him up!" Isa scanned when the blue animator came out. "Speak of the devil!" She starts shooting a proton stream.
"There's the big fish! See what he did?! Give him a new home-in our containment facility!" Ray shouted shooting along with her, Kiera & Catalina. "Look, did you see that? More than I expected!" He added after the other animator appeared.
"No kidding!" Catalina shoots the Stasis Stream to freeze the blue one. "Who knew I can still use this thing even as a werewolf?" She asked as the animators make books surround to themselves.
"We need to get those objects out of the way! So, we can use the Stasis Stream!" Isa observed.
"We're on it!" Julie manifested pink hands to move objects away from the blue animator.
"Got it!" Isa uses the Stasis Stream to freeze both of them.
"They think that proton blast was hot, try this!" NRG shoots radiation at the animators, which hurts them a lot. "Got rid of their defense!" He added while the trap was thrown.
"Now's our chance!" Kiera shoots a capture stream along with Catalina on the white animator until he was completely pulled into the trap. "Great catch, sis!" She high fives her sister.
"Now for the other one! Almost!" Isa helps Ray use the capture stream to grab the blue animator to until it too ended up in the trap. "Yes!" She fists pumped the air while the book Swarmers exploded.
"That takes care of them." NRG said when the Omnitrix times out, turning him back to Lincoln. "Glad we caught them." He caught his breath for a bit.
"Phew. Good work. That took some doin'." Ray said.
"Congratulations, Ray, uh...but I'm near Special Collections. Someone you've been wanting to meet again is here." Egon's voice was heard on his end.
"We're on our way!" Ray kicks the door open.
"The Librarian. Aka the Gray Lady." Julie guessed as they followed Ray into the special collections room. "I think she's becoming your white whale, Ray." She noticed.
"Keep moving, Omnitrix Team. We sure don't wanna be trapped in here." Ray warned as they kept moving when more paper monsters appeared. "Watch it! Get him!" He alerted.
"Julie, need some help!" Catalina started tearing apart the paper monsters one by one.
"Since these guys are made of paper..." Julie manifested six pairs of pink scissors which sent to cut the others into pieces. "Voila!" She even destroys the last one that tried to sneak up on her.
"Looks like the Gray Lady makes her own reinforcements. Keep your eyes open, teams. She's upping the ante." Ray warned.
"Thanks for the warning, Ray. But I have no idea what you're talking about." Winston was heard on his end all confused.
"You may wanna just take our word for it." Egon's end was heard when the Gray Lady appeared again.
"There she is...quiet...now let's get a solid scan." Ray whispered as he, Isa, Kiera & Catalina got a scan.
"I missed that, Ray! Please repeat!" Egon said on his end while the Gray Lady shushed the Omnitrix Team members & Ray before she disappeared again.
"Enough with the shushing!" Ray demanded. "Well, at least we got closer." He added.
"Could not hear a word of that, Ray! Ray?!" Egon repeated on his end.
"I'm really starting to get tired of her shushing! I just wish she just shut up!" Catalina makes a growl when a door from the other room closed while the Gray Lady summoned more book-made Swarmers.
"Incoming!" Isa alerted shooting Stasis Streams along with Kiera.
"They're swarming all over the place!" Catalina bites several Swarmers and swipes some with her claws.
"Linky, you got anything that can put them in one place? Like Gravattack?" Julie asked while cutting some more Swarmers with the scissors and uses pink fire from her yo-yo to burn them three more.
"Better idea. Something they wouldn't expect!" Lincoln dials the Omnitrix and pressed the core, as it transforms him into the alien he was looking for. "Eclipse!" He shouted with a pony/horse neigh.
"Oh! The Alicorn of the bunch!" Julie remembered. "Haven't seen him in a while!" She smiled seeing Eclipse fly up.
"Well, that's a new one." Ray observed as Eclipse uses his horn to bring all the remaining Swarmers to his position with magical telekinesis.
"Let's try this again!" Eclipse shoots a magic beam from his horn to destroy the Swarmers completely. "Much better." He flies back down.
"No! Not my books!" The Gray Lady's screaming was heard.
"Gives you the creeps, huh?" Ray asked. "Good job. Come on, kids. We need to get out of here." He said as they left the section down the next hallway.
"Never seen you turn into an Alicorn before." Catalina said.
"Well, now you have." Eclipse smiled.
Back in the Periodical section, Winston was checking on one of the computers looking for whatever sports game news. He also found some important information there.
"Ah, Winston, where the heck are you?" Ray's asked from his walkie talkie.
"In the periodical section checking the box score from the Knicks game last night. Why?" Winston answered.
"You think you can tell us about this "Collector", Winston?" Isa asked on Ray's end as Winston scrolls through the internet.
"Says here, that this Collector used the Gray Lady to get to the rare books in her care-specifically a book called, get this, The Gozerian Codex." Winston explained as he scrolls down the computer screen.
"That sounds bad. Even Lumi agrees while hearing from Julie's earrings." Eclipse's voice was heard. "Almost like when someone like Vilgax, Z'Skayr or Malware tried to get the Omnitrix, Chase's old enemy had twice tried to kidnap him or Bandora tried to get Julie's earrings or Black Claw's ring kind of bad. It's still me, Lincoln by the way." He listed several examples of the Omnitrix Team's past encounters with their old enemies over something they respectively have.
"Yeah. And when she found out what he was up to, she dumped him." Winston continues his explanation.
"Smart lady." Egon's voice was heard.
"Not really. Evidently, he murdered her for it." Winston continued mentioning the Gray Lady's death.
"Uh-oh." Julie, Kiera & Catalina gulped from Ray's end.
"The Gray Lady was his first victim, but he killed a bunch more." Winston scrolls the online info again.
"And let me guess, he collected their bodies, just he collected books?" Ray guessed.
"Bingo. Ray, you get to buy me dinner." Winston said before scrolling through the info on the computer one more time. "And here's the last on The Collector. Seconds before he was hanged, he said he would return as Azetlor, some sort of God to keep watch over the library and every rare book in its collection." He finished.
"Sounds like quite the bookworm." Ray responded.
"Sounds like the kind we and the Omnitrix Team along with many of their friends & allies run into all the time." Winston commented.
After hearing that information and dealing with two paper monsters, the five Omnitrix Team members & Ray continue to wonder until they entered a room that the children's book section. And as you would expect, the place is abandoned.
"Well, this looks inviting enough since it looks kid friendly." Eclipse spoke in sarcasm seeing black slime on the ceiling.
"If by "kid friendly" you mean abandoned, creepy and having black slime on the ceiling, then yeah." Kiera looks a bit nervous when they heard something.
"You hear that? It's around here someplace. Uh-huh." Ray suspected as they all look around.
"Lincoln, any chance the spirits in here were kids like us?" Julie asked.
"Could be. Thanks to my Alicorn magic, I can sense energy in here like you can." Eclipse answered. "Looks like you're right." He sensed.
"I knew what it was like to be a kid who wondered where to go and settle down, it made me really bossy once. Even Catalina's eternal werewolf curse taught me that." Kiera held her arms for a minute while everything was floating.
"I think they're trying to tell us something." Ray figured while Kiera bravely took deep breaths.
"And I think the answer is this way." Catalina points to the exit on the other side of the section. "Come on." She leads her teammates & Ray out.
"Phew. I'm okay. Much better." Kiera sighs.
"You said it, Kiera." Ray agreed as they continue to go down until they found another room which is what they're looking for.
"Here's the place. Special Collections. These rooms are packed with rare & valuable volumes!" Ray looks into the door. "Okay, she's in here with Egon. No noise." He whispered.
"Easier said than done when you have hooves." Eclipse whispered as they went in to see Egon watching the Gray Lady while everything was floating.
"There she is." Julie points to her.
"Shh...almost." Egon shushed when suddenly book monsters who look like they're armed with spears & shields made of paper attacked.
"Great! Now they're armed!" Kiera commented.
"The shields! Use the Capture Stream on their shields!" Egon instructed.
"Got it!" Isa, Kiera & Catalina did just that.
"We got than one way to do that, Egon! Yoink!" Julie lassoes several of the monsters' shields.
"Definitely more than one!" Eclipse agreed before kicking, stabbing and magically zapped them all into pieces.
"Remember how you were saying print was dead?" Ray asked.
"I wish." Egon answered.
"Come on. Let's just keep going." Isa reminded.
"Hey Linc. You think you can pick up a trail with your new magic?" Catalina brought up.
"I think so. Maybe I can make a locater spell." Eclipse magically creates a spell that can lead them to the Gray Lady's location.
"Cool! Wait until Ronnie Anne hears about this!" Julie looks amazed as they followed Eclipse's locator spell.
Soon after dealing with more paper monsters, another book golem and two golems made of coal, the Omnitrix Team members & Ghostbusters follow Eclipse's locator spell to a weakened wall. A weakened wall which Julie destroyed by manifesting a pink sledgehammer.
"Ta-Da!" Julie smiled showing the hole she made.
"What'd you got, Julie?" Ray asked. "Hey Egon, the kids found a way out." He told Egon while Eclipse decided to change back.
"I added something new to the pack." Egon shows them something. "This is the PDS: Plasm Distribution System. Basically, it's slime blower Mark II, heavily modified from earlier version. Your plasm banks are now integrated into the Proton pack. It uses a base culture of ectoplasm that can impair entities, cause caustic Black Slime to go inert, and reveal otherwise invisible ethereal structures that reside on this plane." He explained while Julie added her own Lady Rose version of the PDS to Kiera & Catalina's packs.
"To use the Slime Blower, just point and squirt. Just like Julie's purification power, it'll help neutralize any active patch of Black Slime. It'll close any portals they're opening too." Ray instructed while Isa tested it on some black slime. "See? Neutralized slime." He said.
"Hey, it works!" Isa smiled.
"Then come on! We got an angry librarian ghost to catch!" Catalina said as they head down the tunnel.
A minute later, the five Omnitrix Team members & the Ghostbusters came to a place where the Gray Lady is, which is a desk in some kind of dimension. And that's when they saw the book the Gray Lady was reading throw her around a bit until it stop.
"Eerie place. I wonder if this is where the Collector killed the Librarian?" Ray wondered.
"I think that would be a safe assumption. That book she's reading is emitting massive energy." Egon scanned.
"Ah, that's your cue, Killer. Go get 'em." Ray looks at Lincoln & the girls.
"If you say so." Julie accepted as she, Kiera, Catalina, Isa & Lincoln took the book from the ghostly librarian.
"Hey look." Kiera points to the Gray Lady who disappeared. "She's gone. That was easy." She commented.
"Wait guys!" Catalina starts to make a wolf growl. "I don't think it's over!" She warned when the Gray Lady reappeared before showing her scarier form.
"Definitely not over!" Isa agreed before they dodged and see her surrounded by books & Swarmers.
"Time to help Catalina even the odds!" Lincoln dials and pressed the Omnitrix's core to become no one other than... "Blitzwolfer!" He howled already for battle.
"Thanks, Linc! I could use some extra claws right now!" Catalina thanked.
"The book stands are generating her shield." Egon observed.
"Kids, the podiums-soak 'em! Soak 'em!" Ray refers to the green torches surrounding the Gray Lady.
"Destroy the green torches! That's what he means!" Isa translated shooting down one podium with a proton stream.
"Here's two!" Julie shoots pink fire from her yo-yo to destroy the second podium.
"Let me try!" Kiera shoots podium number 3 with her proton stream. "Three in a row!" She smirked.
"Make that four!" Catalina jumped and destroyed the 4th podium with her teeth before doing the same to last one but with her claws. "And that's five! Alright Lincoln & Julie, she's all yours!" She sees the books no longer protecting the Gray Lady.
"Right! You ready, Linky?" Julie manifested a pink megaphone for the transformed Loud boy.
"Oh, yeah! Hey lady, we heard your voice, now here ours! *HOOOOWWWLLLL*!" Blitzwolfer splits his muzzle into four and unleashes an orange sonic howl with some pink traces thanks to the megaphone, which hurts the Gray Lady as much as her ears.
"My turn!" Julie shoots more pink fire when both attacks weakened the ghost librarian.
"That's good! Now throw out the trap!" Egon signaled.
"Already on it!" Isa threw her trap which she helps, Kiera, & the two Ghostbusters use the capture stream to pull the Gray Lady into successfully.
"Weird. That wasn't as tough as it should have been." Ray got suspicious.
"I was just thinking the same thing." Egon agreed.
"Maybe she wanted us to take the codex. But why?" Julie asked when a small portal was there. "Is that a portal?" She asked.
"Looks like it. I've been through a portal before, and that didn't stop me." Isa said.
"I wouldn't get too excited, Isa. I have a feeling she did it so we can meet an old friend of hers." Egon suspected.
"I'll go first! Don't know what's behind it!" Blitzwolfer cautiously approached the portal which sends them to a ghostly dimension. "And that would be it!" He looks in surprise.
"What kind of portal configuration is it?" Catalina asked.
"This looks like a Gozerian configuration." Egon answered when they noticed a door covered with black slime.
"Watch out! Black slime!" Ray warned as he & Isa go up to the door and sprayed the PDS to neutralize the black slime off it, creating a portal.
"Come on!" Ray told as they all went through it.
After later getting separated from the two Ghostbusters, the Omnitrix Team got passed more monsters & puzzles until they met up with Ray & Egon in an interdimensional version of the library.
"Uh, I don't remember this being part of the library." Lincoln looks in confusion after the Omnitrix changed him back for a recharge.
"Someone's holding us here. The Collector." Ray suspected.
"Yes. Azetlor wants to add to his collection. And he's probably not too happy about us taking the Gozerian Codex with us." Egon scans around.
"Oh yeah? What could a twisted little bookworm do to scare us?" Ray questioned.
"He murdered Eleanor Twitty for it when he was alive. And a dozen others just to cover it up." Egon reminded when some kind of giant mask started to move.
"Yeah. I don't think we should underestimate this person." Isa agreed.
"Hey Collector! We're taking your book! And these kids are powerful & smart enough to stop you! Whaddya think about THAT?!" Ray mocked when the mask reappeared behind him.
"Um, Ray...?" Julie started while pulling out her yo-yo & manifested her butterfly wings.
"Uh, he's right behind me, isn't he?" Ray guessed.
"I think you got his attention, Ray." Egon said as they watch the mask which is now Azetlor formed black slime to make objects around him form him his body.
"Woah! I'm guessing that's what Azetlor looks like!" Catalina grabs and pulls away Kiera to save her from black slime spikes.
"And he's definitely not happy like Egon said!" Isa tries to shoot proton streams, but it has no effect. "Huh?"
"He's resisting my proton stream!" Ray tries to shoot at a close range.
"Look! His face is protected by Black Slime!" Egon noticed.
"That must be the key! Hey, Juniors, switch out your nozzles and hose him down!" Ray instructed.
"Right! PDS on!" Isa switches her pack to PDS mode followed by Kiera & Catalina. "Julie, your power to purify can work too!" She added before the three hose PDS on Azetlor's mask.
"Lincoln, do you think you can turn into Eclipse twice like you would with NRG? We could use some extra magic!" Julie asked manifesting pink fists to hit and purify some of the slime.
"I don't know! Worth a shot!" Lincoln activates the Omnitrix again before pressing the core and become the alien he wanted. "Eclipse! You were right, Julie!" He said.
"Neutralize the Black Slime on his mask!" Egon told.
"Lincoln...!" Julie gestured with a smirk.
"You read my mind!" Eclipse uses his left hoof to press the Omnitrix, causing the four prongs to pop out and evolves, making him anthropomorphic. He has now grown an extra foot and a half, his horn grew longer & sharp like a sword, three small sharp spikes are on the bottom off his back hooves, his teeth turned into fangs while his front hoofs turned into hands with claws, and he grew an extra set of wings while the original pair's feathers become extremely sharp metal like. "ULTIMATE ECLISPE!" He neighed before flying up alongside Julie.
"It's sliming time!" Isa shoots more PDS to neutralize the black slime on Azetlor's mask completely.
"It's clear! Lincoln, show 'em what you and your new guy got!" Ray told.
"Rip his mask off! It looks vulnerable!" Egon instructed while Isa, Kiera & Catalina grabbed the mask with the capture stream while Julie did the same with her yo-yo.
"Let's see what these new feathers can do!" Ult. Eclipse rapidly spins around & shoots his metal feathers like quills to hit Azetlor enough to get his mask ripped off.
"Yeah! That did it!" Ray said while Azetlor continued to attack.
"Oh no, I think we just expose his angry side." Egon noticed Azetlor trying to attack the Evolved Alicorn.
"Bring him down all the way...Keep shooting him in the eye if you can, he's got nothing to resist the proton stream, Julie's attacks or the newly enhanced Alicorn magic!" Ray instructed.
"Got it!" Isa, Kiera & Catalina each shot a proton stream in Azetlor's eye one by one.
"He's out of control! Blast him in the eye, kids, I think it's working!" Ray observed helping with his proton stream.
"Let see if this works!" Julie manifests a pink version of Diamondhead's arms around her own, before shooting both sharp & explosive crystals. "You're turn, Lincoln!" She signaled.
"Don't question it, Lincoln! Just blast the glowy part!" Egon added.
"Time to take back the same penalty for your crimes, ones that shall not go unpunished!" Ult. Eclipse's horn fires an even more powerful beam of magic at the eye. "Consider your collection crumbled!" He watches Azetlor freeze up and explode into pieces.
"There it goes! Bye, Azetlor!" Ray responded.
"We need to get out of here!" Egon warned.
"There's a new portal back here! C'mon the Omnitrix Team, that's gotta be our way out!" Ray told.
"Guys...? Where are you guys?" Winston's voice was heard from the walkie talkie with some static.
"Um. We'll be with you in a minute!" Isa said as Ult. Eclipse wasn't the only Omnitrix Team going through the portal.
"No more signs of him! Perfect!" Ult. Eclipse sensed while flying.
"Come on, L-10! We gotta get out of here!" Ray alerted the Evolved Alicorn.
"Right!" Ult. Eclipse flew to the portal at an impressive speed as he & everyone else got out the same way.
A few seconds later, Winston was back in the real library's reading room, when he saw the five Omnitrix Team members, Ray & Egon walk out of the portal safely.
"Where the heck were you guys?! I've been runnin' all over this library, calling you, looking for you ...nothing!" Winston asked before the portal closed.
"We passed through a cross-dimensional portal into an alternative version of the New York Public Library and fought a forty-foot-tall monster made out of priceless antiques to steal an ancient magical book." Egon explained.
"And one of Lincoln's new aliens called Eclipse got an ultimate form!" Julie added pointed to the Ultimate Eclipse who changed back into Eclipse, and then back to Lincoln.
"Yep. That's pretty much it." Lincoln sighs with relief.
"Oh...well...that would explain it then. Next time leave a note." Winston responded when Egon noticed something.
"Ray, does this mean anything to you?" Egon asked with everyone's attention towards the ceiling of the doorway with some kind of triangle on it.
"Nope, it wasn't here the first time we came through." Ray doubted.
"What is it?" Winston asked.
"Not entirely sure. But whatever it is, I think we just turned it off." Egon answered when one of the triangle's symbols disappeared.
"Are you thinking, what I'm thinking?" Ray asked.
"Thin crust New York style with no visible anchovies?" Winston guessed.
"Maybe later. Right now, I need to get back to the lab and take a look at this Codex.
"And analyze the data we just collected. It could help us and the rest of the Omnitrix Team when we go to the museum." Egon added.
"Slice to go on the way? Chase Scaleside's treat?" Winston asked thinking about pizza.
"We need to know what this is." Ray said.
"I'll call for a delivery. Again." Winston decided in defeat.
"Hehehehe." Lincoln, Julie, Isa, Kiera & Catalina giggled & laughed before they left the library.
