Special 6: The Petal Gala

At Zephyr Heights, the broadcast billboards gave off a musical note as Skye was on scene while showing pictures of Pipp. "Pop star princess, Pipp Petals is at it again…" He started as everypony all cheered in excitement. "Equestria's very own style icon is just hours away from throwing her most extravagant event yet. The first ever Petal Gala." He announced while showing a video of Pipp with Thunder, who was carrying some things, as the camera crew took pictures while Pipp waved to them with a smile as the next picture showed Pipp eating some gellatens as she accepted it, the next one showed her looking at a uniform, while the next showed her offering invitations to ponies.

"This star studded party will be attended by everypony who is any pony and supports a cause that is very close to the royal songrestress's heart…" Skye announced with a smile as the screen then change to Dazzle and Pipp.

"What can you tell us about the Petal Gala, Pipp? It sounds very exciting." Dazzle said to Pipp with a smirk as she brought her microphone close to Pipp.

"It's so exciting, Dazzle!" Pipp answered with a smile "The Petal Gala is all about coming together to celebrate young artists from all over Equestria! And looking like totally chic while we do it." She explained with a smirk.

Dazzle gasped. "That's fabulous! And the famous theme is flowers, is that right?" She asked.

"Um, yeeeessss!" Pipp answered with a smile. "It's in Maretime Bay, so we get to totally show case Earth Pony magic!" She excitedly said while flapping her wings in the air with a wave of her hoof before she landed back down while coughing to recompose herself as Dahlia came beside her.

"Oh, um, hi! I mean, sup." Dahlia said with a cool tone to the camera.

"Do your thing, Dahlia!" Pipp cheered to her with a smile and a hoof raised.

"Right! Here goes…" Dahlia said nervously as she rear back and stomps on the ground, which caused her Earth Pony Magic to surge and surrounded Pipp and suddenly dressed in head to hoof flowers particularly focused on her mane with a new style, which made Pipp squeal in amazement with a laugh as she gave a twirl.

"See? Totally gorge!" Pipp said to the camera viewers, who cheered in amazement. "And every outfit for tonight will be floral inspired, just like this!" She added.

"Amazing! I can't wait to see that!" Dazzle said in amazement as Pipp gave a small laugh and got close to the camera.

"See you at the Petal Gala, ponies!" Pipp said as she blew a kiss and flew off, while Dahlia and Dazzle waved to the camera, Pipp gave a nervous and uncertain look.

Later on at the Crystal Brighthouse, Pipp's phone was ringing as the Mane 8 saw it in front of them as it gave a loud ring, while somehow floating. "Oh, look, Pipp, you're getting a call." Izzy said with a smile.

"Yes, I can see that, Izzy." Pipp said while feeling a bit frustrated.

"I can't believe I have to ask but, how did your phone end up in jello?" Sunny wondered, while gesturing that Pipp's phone was inside a giant gelatin.

"Yeah, that's a hundred bit question. How did you even lose you're phone in there?" Sunset asked with a brow.

Pipp gave a sigh. "I don't know. I mean, I have been a little distracted lately." She said while looking around.

"A little?" Zipp asked with a brow as she sip her smoothie. "Pipp, the Petal Gala has taken over your life!" She pointed out with a smirk as Pipp went up to her sister.

Pipp then gave a dramatic gasped from that. "It. Has. Not!" She said while poking her hoof on her sister's chest while Zipp kept her smirk.

"Really?" Zipp asked, still keeping her smirk.

Flashback.

In the middle of the night, Pipp was sleeping in her bed as she mumbled and tossed and turn. "No… Not 50, I'm sure… order 100… seating charts… arty ponies from… new song?" She snored a bit while Zipp looked at her sister while her left eye twitching. "Of course!" She muppled some more. "No strawberries!" She babbled as she kept talking in her sleep.

"Ugh! You've gotta be kidding me!" Zipp complained as she placed a pillow on her head to try and block out her sister's sleep talk.

End of Flashback.

After retelling that event, Zipp continued to drink her smoothie while Pipp twitched her left eye a bit in annoyance from that. "Okay, so maybe I am a teensy weensy bit obsessed." Pipp admitted while Zipp kept her smirk. "I just want everything to be perfect. But in order for that to happen, I need to find my list! Which is on my phone, in… there." She muttered while gesturing to her phone still trapped in jello, as it rang as Zipp gave a dull look.

"There must be some way to get it out of there." Hitch said while rubbing his chin. "All we need is a solid plan to-" He trailed off as Sparky came rushing in with a tube.

"Ah-ha!" Sparky cheered as he plunged the tube in the jello, and started sucking on the inside and got the tube out, which created a passage to Pipp's phone. "Yay!" He cheered with a hop.

"Oh!/Wow!" Both Pipp and Izzy said in amazement.

"Or let Sparky handle it." Twilight said with a giggle at Sparky's resourcefulness.

Hitch chuckled as he raised Sparky up with Sunny next to them. "Look at you. Clever little dragon." He said.

"Great work, Sparky." Sunny added as the two Earth Ponies nuzzled the baby dragon as Sparky giggled and cooed at their affection. Izzy then focused her magic with strain as she then got Pipp's phone out of the jello as she gave a victorious laugh and levitated it to Sunny, who gave a sheepish look as she held the phone. "I'm sure it still works, right?"

Pipp then gave an uneasy laugh as she took her phone back. "Only one way to find out." She said as she shook the extra jello off her phone as she slowly moved her hoof to her phone to turn it on while she and the rest of the Mane 8 looked anxious before Pipp tapped it, which turned on with a beep.

The Mane 8 cheered in relief that Pipp's phone still works as Zipp flew around. "Phew! First problem solved! Now can we please talk about what is going on around here? This place is a disaster!" She yelled out while gesturing to the entire room, seeing that the living room was filled to the brim with boxes as the Mane 8 looked around and chattered in wonder.

"Disaster?!" Pipp asked her sister when she came to her and gave a small chuckle. "Oh come on, Zipp, it's not that bad. Just a few boxes here and there and a little bit…everywhere…" She trailed off with an awkward chuckle at the amount of boxes around.

"Pipp, there's enough boxes to start moving day." Sunset pointed out with a dull look.

"Yeah, this is a bit much, even for me." Twilight added in agreement before they heard yelling as they saw Misty got a couple of boxes on her hooves while one of them was on her head blocking her eyes as Misty gave a yelp while walking around blindly.

"Oh, Misty, careful!" Pipp called out before Misty crashed into a box pile as some stuff flew out as the others cringed.

Izzy went to the pile as the boxes moved a bit before Misty popped out of it, wearing a huge peacock looking headdress on her head, "I'm okay!" She assured with a wave before Kenneth came out of the headdress and flew off, which made the two Unicorns watch on and wonder how Kenneth got there.

"Are you telling me that every one of these boxes has to be unpacked before tonight?" Hitch asked Pipp in shock by the amount of boxes that need to be unpacked.

Pipp gave a sheepish chuckle. "I'm not-not telling you that." She answered with a sheepish look.

"Pipp, why did you keep doing this without giving us the head ups first?" Sunset questioned with a brow. "We all lived here, and it would be nice to inform us before you go ahead and agree on something."

"Uh, I guess I was all caught up in it?" Pipp said with a sheepish smile.

"Well, many hooves make light work, right?" Sunny asked with a smile. "We've got this, ponies." She assured as the others smiled in agreement.

"Well, that's true. As long as we work together, we can accomplish anything." Twilight added.

"Yay!" Sparky cheered.

"Yes! I love that, Sunny and Twilight!" Pipp said as she then picked up her phone. "Now, let me put up my 'lil list here…" She started as she then put up the list and scroll through the things they needed to get done.

Then Mane 8 then followed the list from Pipp's phone as their Cutie Marks glowed as they began to work on unpacking the boxes while they glowed in their Cutie Mark magic while some of the critters are helping out as they used their magic to arrange the flower decorations in place.

Pipp even placed some on pony statues for flower dresses while some boards were up.

After a bit, the Mane managed to finish off the decorations as they looked at their progress. "Almost there, ponies." Sunny said with a smile. "Let's hydrate and finish up. Smoothie break!" She cheered.

The Mane 8 cheered and chattered in agreement, needing a smoothie break as they walked out of the brighthouse as the door closed.

But after they left, a magical noise sounded in the Brighthouse as the wall beside the critter section and Izzy's crafting table sparkled up as a magical door opened up, a different door than the one Misty used. Then screaming was heard before a futuristic like light blue Earth Pony mare, who had some golden accessories on, wearing white fluffy headband and hooves shoes, having three hearts on her cheeks below her eyes, her mane and tail a bit purple with slight a pink with some techno style on them while her Cutie Mark as a heart with a purple streak while having two small hearts.

"Whoa!" The mare tumbled across the ground as she panted a bit before turning to the door as she heard hooves trotting as she backed away in fright as a shadow figure was in the tunnel.

"Come back here!" The figure yelled in a mare's tone before she was tackled by another shadowy figure.

"Go! Run!" A stallion's voice yelled out as he grunted and some magic blasts were heard, which made the frightened mare flinch before the door closed, as some banging was heard while also some magic blasts as the mare only watched as the door then vanished.

The mare then sighs in relief as she manages to get away before she looks around at the Brighthouse in wonder. "Where am I? What is this place?" She asked in wonder before a song played as she then noticed some magic flowing around her, which she looked in wonder as it circled her head and gave off a big glow, which made her yawn while rubbing her eyes. "I can figure out where I am later." She said a bit tiredly.

She then turn as she noticed the magic gilded her to the couch while warming up the seat for her. "Mmm, that looks cozy." She said as she then layed on the couch as the Brighthouse tucked her in and gave her a gentle pat before faded away as the Earth Pony mare fell asleep.

A bit later, the Mane 8 returned to the Brighthouse, chatting to each other about their smoothies that they still have during their smoothie break as Pipp then flew to the boxes and check her list on her phone to remember where they left off.

Izzy then finished her smoothie as she gave a sigh before she noticed her cup was empty. "Aw. Dreamy Greeny is goney-woney." She then sat down next to Sunny and gave a sad pout. "Sad."

"You can have a sip of mine, Iz. I've got a little left!" Sunny said with a smile as she offered her smoothie cup.

"Thanks, Sunny!" Izzy said as she then sip Sunny's smoothie cup before she noticed the flavor. "Triple berry plus…Oooooh, is that pineapple? Plot twist!" She cheered with her hoof raised.

"Sure is, it's my new favourite!" Sunny said with a smile.

"Don't you just love it?" Sunset asked with a smirk. "Sunny and Comet find a way to put pineapple into a smoothie mixture." She joked with a chuckle.

"Mm, pineapple? Let me try this." Zipp said as Izzy gave her the cup as Zipp took a sip, but cringe in disgust. "Mmm, no. No. Not for me, it's way too-" She trailed off when the mysterious mare got up under the blanket and stretched with a yawn after waking up from her sleep. "Huh?" Zipp asked as she then noticed this as she turned to the mare, who turned to her too.

"Aaaaahhhh!" Both Zipp and the mysterious mare scream as the mare holds the blanket before looking around as Sunny, Sunset, and Izzy scream in startled at seeing her.

"Huh? What is wro-Aaaahhh!" Pipp screamed when she saw what was happening as she then flew and hid behind Zipp. "Zipp! W-Wha-Aaah! Who is that?!" She cried out while gesturing to the mysterious mare on the couch.

"Who am I?! Who are you?!" The mare asked before she screamed while looking around in confusion. "Where am I?!" She asked as Twilight, Misty, Sparky, and Hitch screamed as everypony in the Brighthouse started scream back and forth while the mare returned the scream while still huddled in the blanket.

"Stay calm ponies!" Sunny called out as she then got in the middle of the group. "Everypony calm down! We won't figure anything out if we don't stop screaming!" She pointed out to them.

"She's right." Sunset said while taking a breather. "Okay, let's try this again." She suggested.

"Yeah, let's try this calmly and-" Twilight was cut off when Zipp spoke.

"Who. Are. You?!" Zipp questioned with a look at the mysterious mare as she marched towards her. "And why are you in our house?! Did somepony send you!? Was it Allura?! Well, was it?! Who else could it be?!" She questioned with an intense look.

The mare looked at her a bit frightened and confusion. "I… Well… I am.. Uh, I mean, uh… I am… My name is… Uh, actually, I don't know." She said in confusion as the others looked at her in surprise and concern. "What's happening to me? It's like I can't remember anything."

"You can't remember anything?" Zipp questioned with a brow as she landed back down. "Come on, you don't know your own name?" She added as she learned close to the mare.

"Zipp! Stop! You're scaring her!" Sunset said firmly as she pushed Zipp back a bit, who was a bit surprised and cringed back from Sunset's firm look as the Alicorn gave a gentle look to the mysterious Earth Pony mare. "Sorry, she's usually hard headed and very serious when it comes to questioning."

"Hey!" Zipp said with a look from that, which Sunset ignored.

"Now, let's try this again." Sunset said to the mare. "Who are you, why are you in our house, what's your name?" She asked with a soft tone as the mare calmed down a bit before she tried to think.

"I-I really don't know. I'm sorry!" The mare said honestly as the others looked at her in concern as she began to tear up. "It's like… I'm really trying to remember but it's just gone!" She cried as she sobbed.

Misty perked up when she noticed that expression. "Wait, Zipp, Sunset, look. She really doesn't know who she is." She said to them, seeing that it wasn't an act.

Zipp noticed this as she backed away a bit. "Huh, you might be right, Misty." She said while rubbing her chin.

"You really don't know, do you?" Sunset asked with a concerned look as the mare shook her head in confirmation.

"Don't you worry, super cool stranger pony." Izzy said with a cheerful smile as she got next to the mare. "I've totally seen this before! In Bridlewood we call this, Amszeesia." She said with a dramatic smirk and a wave of her hoof.

"Amszeesia?" The mare asked in confusion.

"Mm-hm! Exactly." Izzy nodded with a smile.

"Amszeesia?" Twilight asked with a brow. "Don't you mean amnesia, Izzy?"

"No, silly." Izzy said with a wave of her hoof. "It's when you get such a bad cold that you sneeze out all of your memories! It's happened to me before…" She said with a smile with her hooves on her cheeks.

Flashback.

Sometime ago, Izzy was walking around Maretime Bay whistling happily. But then she released a big sneeze. "Phew." She said after wiping her nose before she realized she was in the middle of Bridlewood forest with some critters going by her as she looked in shock. "Huh? Where am I? Who am I? OH NO, NOT AGAIN!" She yelled out in panic.

End of Flashback.

After having her flashback, Izzy then turns back to the mare. "Don't worry, though. All your memories will eventually come back, it just takes a little time." She assured her.

"Well, that sounds promising." The mare said with a small smile before she shrugged. "Funny, I don't remember having a bad cold."

Izzy gave a small laugh. "Of course you don't! You 'aachooo'ed out! That's exactly how Amsneesia works." she said cheerfully.

"Um, okay. If you say so." The mare said with an uncertain smile.

"Don't mind her." Sunset said to her. "Izzy is full of unexplainable details."

Misty then sat next to the mare. "And this must be so scary for you. I know what it's like to feel alone." She said, knowing from experience before gesturing to the rest of her friends. "But lucky for you, all of these ponies are really kind."

"Hi, I'm Sunny." Sunny greeted.

"And I'm Hitch." Hitch added as Sparky giggled.

"I'm Pipp, and this is my sister…" Pipp continued while gesturing to Zipp.

"Zipp." Zipp added before giving a sheepish smile. "Sorry about all that before." She apologized about her behavior towards her earlier.

Izzy then got between the two sisters with a cheerful smile. "Hello, I'm Izzy!" She greeted.

"I'm Misty." Misty offered.

"I'm Sunset." Sunset offered.

"And I'm Twilight." Twilight finished, which perked the mare up.

"Twilight? Sunset?" The mare repeated quietly with a thoughtful look, having a strange feeling she heard those names before.

"It's really nice to meet you." Misty said with a smile, bringing her out of her thoughts.

"Uh, hi, everypony." The mare said with a small smile before she gave a frown. "I wish I could tell you what my name is. So embarrassing." She added as she began to tear up.

"Ah, don't be embarrassed." Misty assured by placing a hoof on the mare's shoulder, while also began to glow as her Cutie Mark glowed and it surged into the mare. "When I was at my lowest point, these ponies made me figure out who I was." She said while looking at her friends. "I'm sure they'll do the same for you."

"Of course we will." Sunny said as she and the others began to glow as the mare's eyes teared up in feeling touched. "Right ponies?" She asked as the rest of the Mane 8 chatted in agreement in wanting to help her.

"See? What'd I tell ya?" Misty asked the mare.

"You're stuck with us now!" Izzy cheered as she got between the mare and Misty as she gave a laugh.

"We help ponies in need." Twilight said with a smile.

"Because that's what friends are for." Sunset added.

"And all you need is…" Sunny trailed off as the Mane 8's Cutie Marks began to glowrf brightly. "A little hope!"

"Bravery!" Zipp called while flying around.

"Confidence!" Pipp called next.

"Kindness!" Hitch continued while Sparky cheered.

"Creativity!" Izzy cheered.

"Empathy!" Sunset called next while flying around.

"Magic!" Twilight called next.

"And heart!" Misty finished as the Mane 8's Cutie Mark magic then shot out and hit the Unity Crystals, which released rainbow magic as it flew around the Brighthouse and passed the Mane 8, as they looked in awe.

The rainbow magic then circled around the Earth Pony mare as she began to glow and floated up as the Mane 8 watches as she smiled and moved around in the air before her eyes widened as she suddenly remembered something.

Flashback.

At a place that was all futuristic with futuristic tall buildings, the mare was walking down a pathway while doing poses while some ponies are taking pictures of her while cheering as a holographic projector of her face appeared as she waved to the crowd as cameras kept flashing and then change to when she is holding a flower banquet.

End of Flashback.

After that memory, the mare smiled while her hair was blowing from the rainbow magic still around her as the Mane 8 looked in awed as she was gently placed back down as the Rainbow Magic faded.

"Wow. I remember." The mare said with a smile as she finally remembered. "My name is Odessa Evensong." She said as she looked at her hooves. "And I think I might be from the future?" She guessed, which made the Mane 88 gasp in shock while Twilight and Sunset had their eyes widened.

"The future?!" Izzy asked in amazement with sparkles in her eyes as she went up to Odessa. "Oh, that is so cool!" She added as Pipp flew around Odessa and inspected her looks. "See, Odessa? What did I told you? You're just one big sneeze away from remembering everything!"

"Hang on. The future?" Hitch asked with a brow. "I mean, Izzy and Sunset traveled to different places with the Nova Charm, and Sunset can travel between dimensions, but they never went to a different time. How is that even possible?" He questioned.

"Uh, actually, Hitch, I've time traveled before. Many times." Twilight said with a sheepish smile was scratching her head, which made the others turn to her in surprise.

"Wait, Twilight, you can travel through time?" Zipp asked with a shocked look.

"Can you really time travel?" Sunset asked with a surprise look at Twilight.

"Uh, maybe. The truth is, I can only travel back a week, which only lasts a bit before zapping me back to the present." Twilight said with a cringe look, remembering when she saw her future self, she was afraid of what the future may come in a week, which was nothing after injuring herself in the process. "And a friend of mine, Starlight Glimmer, used a modified version of a time spell to travel to any point in time, and changing the past, put me and Spike into alternate timelines." She shuddered.

"So there's been a spell that can let you travel through time?" Sunny asked with a surprise look.

"Well, was, before it was lost during the ravage of time itself, and Starlight's spell was lost in the vortex itself when the timeline was repaired." Twilight explained.

"So that explains why you were convinced of when I was stuck in a time loop when I was in the human world." Sunset realized when she was stuck in a time loop during the Star Swirl festival for a long while. "I thought you got along with it because you love learning."

"Not really. I knew how you went through, Sunset." Twilight said to her.

"Wait, Sunset, you were stuck in a time loop?" Hitch asked with a surprise look.

"Long story." Sunset said to them. "But, Odessa, if you're from the future, then how did you get here anyway?" She asked the future pony.

"I wish I can tell you more, Princess Sunset, but clearly, I don't know." Odessa answered while shaking her head.

"Wait, Princess?" Sunset asked with a brow. "Did she just call me Princess?" She asked the group with a surprise look.

But then Pipp gasped when she saw Odessa's necklace. "Literally gorg! Oh, well, I hope the call comes back to you soon, Odessa." She said with a fling of a mane before looking at Odessa's hooves. "Cause I have to know where you got those rock pony glam hoof-warmers!" She then gave an exciting squeal. "And I really hope the answer isn't 'the future'." She joked as she gave a small laugh. "Is it?" She asked with a serious look.

Odessa gave a small laugh. "Well, if I remember, you'll be the first to know, Pipp." She answered as Pipp gasped and gave an exciting squeal while flapping her wings.

"If it really does, don't answer what comes next." Sunset said to them as they turned to her. "You don't need to know too much about the future."

"Trust me, you really don't." Twilight answered, knowing from experience.

"Aw, not even about these fashions?" Pipp asked while gesturing to Odessa's looks.

"No." Both Sunset and Twilight said firmly, which Pipp cringed a bit.

"Mmm, fine." Pipp said with a slouch and a pout while Odessa gave a giggle.

"You know, maybe the Crystal Brighthouse brought you here from the future to help with the Petal Gala." Zipp theorizes, which made Pipp smile again as Misty inspected Odessa.

"The theme is flowers and she is another Earth Pony." Misty commented.

Izzy then gasped with sparkles in her eyes with her hooves on her cheeks. "Yeah! There is no way that's a coo-inky dink!" She cheered.

"Well, it could be that." Sunset said with a shrug. "Right?"

"I only know how time travel works, not what their purpose is." Twilight said with a shrug.

"Well we like totally need the extra hooves if we want to have flowers on every inch of the party!" Pipp said with an anxious look.

"And, maybe being around other ponies will help you remember who you are and where you came from." Sunny said to Odessa with a smile.

"Wow. Misty was right." Odessa said while looking at Misty, who gave a small smile. "You ponies are nice, as Princesses are in my time." She added.

"Okay, what does she mean by that?" Sunset wondered by that.

"Future, Sunset. Don't think too hard." Twilight advised.

Hitch's walkie talkie then frizz as Hitch answered it. "You got Hitch!" He said as he listen to it. "Ah-huh. Yes. I'll let her know." he ended the call as he turned to Pipp. "Pipp, the Pega-snails are here with the stage?" He said to her.

Pipp then squealed in excitement as she flew up with a twirl. "Come on, Ponies! Let's get our Gala on!" She cheered as she flew off.

Outside, the Mane 8 and Odessa then started getting out the flower decorations as the Pega-snails then started carrying giant pieces of the stage as Hitch and Sparky guided them to put them in place in the right spot.

Misty and Izzy levitate the pieces of art into position in the Community Garden. Zipp, Sunset, and Twilight flies the fairy lights across the whole of the Crystal Brighthouse backyard. Hitch and Sunny use their Earth Pony magic to create a vine floral surround for the whole outside of the party.

After much work, the Mane 8 stood back and admired their work as Sparky cheered while two Pega-snails bump shells to their accomplishments.

"I say we have done an amazing job assembling the stage." Twilight complimented with a smile while looking at the clipboard as Pipp looked on in joy as she hooftap with her sister as Odessa placed a hoof around her as Pipp flew in the air with a laugh and a twirl at her stage as she flew around and admire their work.

"This is exactly how I pictured it!" Pipp cheered in joy as she flew to the front of the stage. "Just one little detail left, we need a huge flower mural on either side of the stage. Is that too much?" She asked her friends about that idea.

"Eh, more flowers couldn't hurt." Sunset said with a shrug.

"Yeah, we can handle that." Hitch added as he then turned to Odessa. "Odessa, give me a hoof?" He asked.

"You got it, Hitch." Odessa answered as Hitch went first and used his Earth Pony magic to create some green bushes on stage. He then turn to Odessa, who gave a confident smirk as she used her Earth Pony magic, which created more more incredible tapestry flowers at the stage backdrop as she trotted around with a giggle, not noticing that her hooves are glowing a bit sliver as she giggle and ran on stage.

But then Odessa stopped as she then felt another memory emerging.

Flashback.

In the future, Odessa was on stage singing to the crowd while dancing around as the spotlight shined at her. But then a shadow loomed over her, which made Odessa freeze in fright as she turned and saw the smoke coming in as a giant mare-like figure with red eyes was in front of her as she backed away in fear as the shadow figure snorted out some steam out of her nose.

"What's wrong with you?! Just do it!" The shadow mare yelled, which made Odessa step back in fear. "You need to be-" She trailed off as Odessa screamed and ran away in panic while the mysterious evil mare followed after her.

End of Flashback.

"NOOOOO!" Odessa yelled out as her magic faded and the flowers turned to dust as she started running off stage.

"Odessa, wha-Ow!" Hitch tried to speak before Odessa ran past him and Pipp, bumping into Hitch in the process as the Mane 8 looked surprised by this as they went to Odessa, who was hiding underneath a table with her tail sticking out while quivering in fear. "Odessa, what's wrong? Are you okay?" He asked again as they removed the covers to see Odessa quivering in fear.

"Yeah, you seemed afraid of something." Twilight noted.

"It was terrible." Odessa said in fear. "In-In my memory I…" She trailed off as she then had another memory coming back.

Flashback.

"Was standing on a microphone on a stage just like this one." Present Odessa said as her past self was on stage before the shadow mare appeared behind her, which caused her to go running. "And there was this monster shouting at me and… I couldn't see their faces. I felt so trapped!" She added as her past self ran as fast as she could away from the shadow mare tendrils advanced towards her.

End of Flashback.

Odessa looked down in sadness and fear from that memory as the Mane 8 looked at her in sympathy. "That sounds awful, Odessa." Misty said as she sat down and gave Odessa a nuzzle. "But you're safe now." She said while gesturing to their friends, who smiled reassuringly. "See?"

"You're with us, Odessa." Twilight said with a smile. "There's no reason to be afraid."

"Yeah, it's okay. Nothing will get you." Sunset promised.

"Wow." Odessa said with a smile as she got out of the table and stood up. "I've never, ever, had friends like you before. Even with the princesses being as friendly to everypony back in my time, I never really had friends like them." She added as the Mane 8 huddled around her in support.

"Well, now you do." Hitch said with a smile. "Now, whatta say we finished what we started?" He suggested while gesturing to the half finished stage.

Odessa smiled in response as she and Hitch stepped forward and took a breather as the two then stomped their hooves and used their Earth Pony magic to grow the flowers on the stage. But then Odessa smiled as she focused harder as white magic circled around her, which made the Mane 8 looked in awed as some technolines on her hooves from her Earth Pony magic appeared as she stomped down and made the flowers even more amazing and glammering as the stage sparkled while Odessa took a breather from her effort.

The Mane 8 then huddled around Odessa while cheering and chattering in amazement by what Odessa just did as Odessa stepped on stage and admired the work as Pipp flew around. "Look! At! The! STAGE!" Pipp cheered.

"Okay, that is way different than the Earth Pony magic we have now." Sunset commented.

"I don't think any of us have, Sunset." Hitch said with a shrug.

"Well, Odessa is from the future." Twilight said with a thoughtful look. "It makes sense that magic has evolved further than it has now in our time. Which makes it a bit more powerful and amazing from what she did." She theorizes.

"And it sure has! Talk about level up! Whoo!" Pipp cheered while looking at Odessa before she had an idea. "That settles it. I'm singing my brand new song, tomorrow!" She then flew up with a twirl as she began to sing. "It's a good day for us to level up-"

"We're better off together, the best of friends forever. Hey!" Odessa suddenly sang as she danced around as Pipp looked at her in shock.

Pipp then gasped as she then flew towards Odessa. "Odessa, how did you do that? That is a brand new song! I haven't played it for anypony yet but you knew the words." She pointed out with a surprise smile.

Odessa gave a thoughtful look. "I-I don't know. Somehow, the words were just there. Like I have sung it like a million times before." She said while walking up a bit in thought.

"Waitwaitwait!" Pipp quickly said with her hooves waving as she flew towards Odessa. "Didn't you say that in your memory, you were on a stage?" She asked.

"Yeah. I'm sorry, it's just-" Odessa tried to say.

"Oh, why are you apologizing?! Odessa, this is incredible!" Pipp said to her with a smile. "I think you might be a singer." She then gasped and flew up. "Like me!" She squealed in pure excitement.

"Really? And that's okay with you?" Odessa asked with a smile.

"Okay?! It's the best news ever!" Pipp cheered as she flew around Odessa. "I love a collab! You have to sing with me tonight! Please! Please! Please! Say you will! Please!" She said while giving the puppy eyes

Odessa looked at her for a moment before giving a small smile. "How could I say no?" She asked, answering Pipp's questions Pipp squealed and twirled around in joy.

"The Pippsqueaks are gonna love you~" Pipp sang as she flew in the air with a twirl.

"As long as you don't say her name, Pipp." Twilight advised as she and Sunset walked up.

"What? Why would you say that? The ponies would want to know the new singer's name." Pipp said to them with a brow.

"Pipp, did you forget that Odessa is from the future?" Sunset asked with a brow.

"Uh, no. Why?" Pipp asked them.

"Pipp, we don't know how far in the future Odessa is from." Twilight said to her. "And with her being in our time, we don't know if having her in the history books would be wise, if anypony knows more about Odessa, it might cause a shift in the space time continuum, and might change the timeline a bit drastically."

"Uh, I'm not one for time travel thinking. Might dub that down a bit?" Pipp requested while rubbing her head.

"What Twilight meant was that if Odessa is known in this time period a bit too well, it might cause a shift in the timeline. Changing Odessa's future a bit more than how it was before she left." Sunset pointed out simply.

"Oooh, right." Pipp said with a cringed look.

"Wait, so you're saying that my prolongation in the past might change my time?" Odessa asked with a concerned look.

"We're not sure for certain, but as long as you don't get too noticeable in our time to be in the history books, your timeline would remain intact." Twilight advised.

"Unless you might change something that could change the course of history." Sunset added.

"You make a point." Odessa said with a cringed look.

"But, maybe just one night and one song on the stage won't hurt, right?" Pipp asked.

"Well, as long as she doesn't change anything important, it won't be much of a change." Twilight assured them.

"Great!" Pipp cheered while Odessa smiled as Pipp's phone then beeped as she took it out and saw the countdown finished. "Oh my glitter! Ponies, it's time!" She cheered at the rest of the Mane 8.

"Time for what?" Odessa asked with a curious look as Pipp then flew down towards her.

"Um, time to get seriously glam for the Gala!" Pipp cheered with an exciting laugh.

A bit later, at Mane Melody, Jazz and Rocky came through the doors when the Mane 8 and Odessa were at the salon as the two stylish ponies got their makeup gear ready and began work on the Mane 8 and Odessa.

"Yaaaaaaas qwwwwwwweeeen/So stunning!" Both Jazz and Rocky said as they help Izzy pick her mane style. "So cute!/Love that!" They then turn to the next one. "Oh oh no./Nay way." They shook their heads before they turn to a perfect mane style for Izzy. "Eeeeeee!/Yes!" They cheered as Izzy amidred her look.

"Hang on, Izzy!" Rocky called as he spun Izzy around, which she cheered as he and Jazz then started working on Izzy's mane before they finished as Izzy looked at her reflection.

"Oooh!" Izzy cheered while moving her mane a bit in amazement.

"Final touch!/ Fab-U-Lous!" Sunny and Jazz said as they used their Earth POny magic on Izzy, which grow some flowers in her mane as Izzy looked in awed as she twirl around.

Soon, one by one, the Mane 8 and Odessa each tried out each Mane styles from the mirror as they looked at their new styles.

"Hang on." Odessa spoke up as the Mane 8 looked at her in wonder. "One… last… touch…" She said as she then used her futuristic Earth Pony on her friends, which made their looks a bit more amazing as the magic then shot out from the Crystal Brighthouse at night as it magic shot from the sky and to the stage with the crowd already there, making fireworks over the stage.

At the Gala, the ponies crowded around as Skye flew around. "Hello and welcome to Equestria's biggest arty party ever! The first annual: Petal Gala!" Skye announced as he gestured to the Petal Gala, as ponies around are having fun while enjoying the sights while looking at the flower based fashions. "Are you as excited as I am, Dazzle!" He asked his partner as he came to her.

Dazzle then squeals with a hoof on her cheek. "You know I am, Skye." She said with a smirk while gesturing to the Gala. "Everypony, buckle up for a night of fashion, creativity, and fun!" She declared as everypony is doing amazing things at the gala, from painting, doing performance art, ponies with sculptures, and ponies blowing fire through a tube. "I tell you what, Skye, this party is really starting to heat up." She quipped.

"Oh, too true, Dazzle." Skye said with a smirk before turning to the camera. "And it's about to get even hotter!" He quipped as the flames burst harder. Just then, Thunder flew up while playing a trumpet. "Those trumpets can only mean one thing." He started with a smirk.

"Royalty!" The two news Pegasi said in unison as coming from a chariot was none other than Alphabittle and Queen Haven, which the crowd cheered and took pictures as the two were wearing flower based clothing with Zoom and Thunder behind them.

Alphabittle and Queen Haven waved to them, but then Alphabittle tripped and fell face first with a scream before he quickly recovered while giving a sheepish embarrassing smile. "Whoop, nice recovery there by Alphabittle!" Skye said with a smile as the two continued on. "And…" He then gasped when they saw Haven Ooooof - Queen Haven has certainly brought her A game!" He added while seeing Haven's fully flowered dress as she waved to the crowd. " Look at those colours, those intricate floral details!"

"Fabulous!" Dazzle commented with a smile.

Then, a crystal chariot came in while showing Princess Flurry Heart coming out of it, which she has a full pinkish flower gown on while having a flower crown with a heart shape crystal in the center of it as she walked down the catwalk while the crowd took many pictures of her.

"And it looks like the ruler of the Crystal Empire has glammed up more than any crystal!" Skye quipped.

"So flashy!" Dazzle cheered.

Just then, Dahlia and Posey came in while wearing flowered dresses as well while waving to the crowd. "And here comes more ponies to, pardon the pun, dazzle us with their fashion!" Skye quipped after looking at Dazzle, which caused the two news pegasi to share a laugh.

"Skye. You are just the right amount of too much." Dazzle said with a smile.

Dahlia and Posey blew kisses and waves as the two then stomped their hooves down, using their Earth Pony magic as they went past Flurry and to Haven and Alphabittal, which created a huge flower tunnel shape like a heart, which they gasped before they smiled warmly from this as they continued on while Flurry walked by with an impressive smile from it while Dazzle and Skye flew through the tunnel.

"These Earth Ponies have really pulled out all the stops tonight, Dazzle. Am I right?" Skye asked his partner with a smirk.

"No doubt about that, Skye." Dazzle answered as more ponies, Rocky, Jazz, Onyx, Dapple, and even the Hoppalottas and some critters were passing by the catwalk in their Petal Gala gowns.

"This just in, I am getting word that the ponies of the hour will be arriving any moment!" Skye said with a smile.

"Oooh!" Dazzle squeals in excitement with her hooves to her cheeks. "I just cannot wait to see what they are wearing!" She added.

"Well, you won't have to wait long, Dazzle. Because here. They come." Skye said with a smirk as he lean towards the camera as the lights and streamers gave off as the crowd then look at something that made looked excited.

At the start of the catwalk was the Mane 8 and Odessa, while they are wearling their Petal Gala wears, they also have futuristic outlines of projection flowers, for Sparky's case wings, on them thanks to Odessa's magic as the ponies stood a pose as they then began to sing and dance in sync.

Each of them sang as they danced and shot their Cutie Mark Magic into the air as they moved in sync to follow Odessa's movements.

Sunny and Odessa then stepped forward and used their Earth Pony magic to combine their magic into a futuristic flower that lifted them and the rest of their friends up as some petals fell from the air as they struck a pose.

The ponies in the crowd all called out in excitement while some were taking pictures or videos of this as the Mane 8 and Odessa kept singing and doing poses to the crowd as they kept singing.

At the Crystal Brighthouse, it was still quiet while everypony else was at the Petal Gala. But then, the wall that Odessa came through started glowing with magic as futuristic magical outlines began to move around and formed together and reopened the door that brought Odessa to the past.

The door bang on a couple of times before it opens up, and a shadow mare figure stepped out of it with an menacing look as she turn to the Brighthouse door as her hooves stomped down, which caused some magical cracks from her hooves to form on the ground.

Back at the Petal Gala, Pipp and Odessa were on stage with microphones as they sang together to the crowd as they cheered the two ponies on.

Odessa then sang the next part of the song Pipp made, which she already knew from the future, as Pipp followed along as the crowd followed the beat in amazement.

Odessa and Pipp sang as then the rest of the Mane 8 joined in while feeling the music while Odessa then sang forward on stage as the crowd cheered her on.

Just then, the power suddenly went out, which caught everypony by surprise as a gust of wind came in, tumbling the paint boards and things on the ground to fall and the lightbulbs to shatter, which made everypony gasped in fright.

"What's going on?" Twilight asked as the Mane 8 looked around in worry before Sunset felt a strange sensation as she grunted. "Sunset? What's wrong?"

Sunset grunted a bit before her eyes widened. "Ponies, I sense dark magic. And an unfamiliar one." She muttered, which made the Mane 8 lock shock and look around in worry when she said that.

Odessa then felt a strange presence as she turned and saw the shadow mare figure behind her, with her eyes glowing as her shadow loomed over Odessa as her full appearance was shown. She was an Earth Pony with grey fur with her hooves a bit blue, her mane and tail is black with dark blue on, she has light blue highlights, her eyes are purple with futuristic lines and accessories while her Cutie Mark is a flower trapped in a vine-like cage.

"Odessa Evensong!" She called as Odessa flinched back in horror as she quivered in fear as the mare went closer to her. "Did you actually think you could escape me? Surely you had to know that I find you, even when those wrenched ponies tried to stop me when you escaped." She said with a glare.

Odessa said nothing as she unconsciously dropped her microphone in shock as it rolled across the floor as she then had another flashback.

Flashback.

In the future, when Odessa was still a filly, she was on stage as she picked up the microphone and began to sing. "That you dare to dream, when it do come true~" She sang as her Cutie Mark shined while the crowd cheered, with the mare watching her from behind with a sinister smile.

Over the years, she still performed on stage, but then she became conflicted and uneasy by this, which resulted in her pushing the microphone aside while moving her head away. "Do as I say, Odessa! Now!" The mare yelled out with a glare, which made Odessa take off running with the mare following behind.

Just then, six shadow ponies came in and blocked the mare in her path, which made Odessa look in surprise and a bit of joy with a smile on her face while the mare glared at them. "You ponies?!" She yelled in rage as the six shadow ponies took stances.

"Hurry! Get out of here!" Another mare's voice yelled to Odessa, who didn't need to be told twice as she kept running as she heard magic blasts and fighting going on behind her before she saw a door ahead of her.

Odessa then jumped through the door as it opened to show the Brighthouse on the other side. "Whoa!" She yelled as she rolled across the ground as she took a breather and frighteningly turned back to the door to see the mare chasing her.

"Come back here!" She yelled as before she was tackled by another shadowy figure.

"Go! Run!" A stallion's voice yelled out as he grunted and some magic blasts were heard, which made the frightened mare flinch before the door closed.

End of Flashback.

"Zinnea?!" Odessa asked in shock at the mare in front of her as she looked in fear while backing away in fear. "But… How did you find me?"

"Oh." Zinnea started with a sarcastic chuckle. "You never have been very clever, have you? Not even your favorite pony heroes couldn't help you hide from me." She added with a brow.

Odessa looked in horror as Pipp, Sunny, Sunset, and Twilight came to her side as they glared at Zinnea. "Hey! That's not nice!" Sunny said with a glare.

"Hey! You can't talk to our friend like that!" Misty added as she and the rest of the Mane 8 glared at Zinnea.

"Friend?" Zinnea questioned with a brow before she then gave a sinister laughter as dark aurora surrounded her. "Friend?" She asked again as she laughed more and stomped her hoof down, which gives off a dark glow as the flowers on the stage whittled, which shocked them as Odessa looked down in fear. "I doubt that very much. The only friend she has is me. Isn't that right, Odessa?" She questioned as Odessa looked down in shame and lowered herself to the ground with tears. "And I have made her a super star." She added as magic kept surging through her as her eyes glowed purple as everypony ran off in fear while the Mane 8 watched in shock. "Without me, she is nothing! And she owes me everything!" Her projection called before it exploded, creating a gust of wind that blew on them for a bit before fading.

Zinnea used her Earth Pony magic to summon dark vines, which made Pipp, Sunny, Twilight and Sunset to move out of the way before the vines could grab them as they circled around Odessa.

"Oh!" Odessa yelped as the vines closed in on her as she turned and saw her friends being attacked by the vines while backing away. "It's true." She said in shame as she looked at Zinnea, who gave a smirk. "Zinnea is all I have. I've never been great at making friends." She said with her head down.

"Um, excuse me! That's not true!" Pipp called as she moved the vines away. "What do you call us?" She asked with a smile as she move past the vines while Sunny, Sunset, and Twilight followed behind.

"We are your true friends, Odessa." Sunny continued. "We like you for who you are."

"Yeah. You are a good friend, and we don't care what this future mare says." Sunset said while gesturing to Zinnea, who gave them a glare.

"You can choose your own path, not let others choose your own life." Twilight added with a smile.

"We love you, Odessa!" Hitch cheered while Sparky babbled in agreement.

"Odessa! You're amazing!" Izzy cheered.

"Don't you listen to that bully!" Misty cheered next.

"Odessa! Stay strong!" Zipp cheered on.

Odessa looked at her friends with a smile as she then closed her eyes as she then glowed in her magic as the vines shut around her, but then the glow shot through the vines, which made Zinnea backed away a bit as the vines exploded as Odessa is surrounded by futuristic magic as the lines converge on her outfit as she, Sunny, Sunset, Pipp, and Twilight stood together with determined looks.

"Grrr! I do not have time for this gushy nonsense!" Zinnea growled as she then summoned more vines. "Let's go!" She yelled, which Odessa faltered a bit.

"You don't have to go anywhere with her, Odessa." Sunny said to her. "If you want, you can stay here with us." She said.

"Really? You mean it?" Odessa asked as she looked at them with a smile as they nodded.

"Yeah, even if you are from the future, you are always welcome with us." Twilight said with a smile.

"So, I think somepony from the far future would be fine if they live with us, Twilight and I should know." Sunset said as Twilight nodded, knowing what it's like when living in a new time era, which made Odessa smiled at their kindness.

"Enough! We are leaving!" Zinnea yelled as she moved her vines towards Odessa.

"No! I don't wanna go with you!" Odessa yelled as she used her own vines to tangled around Zinnea's, keeping them in place.

Zinnea was furious by this with an angry gasped. "How dare you disobey me!"" She yelled as she used her vines to whack Pipp, Sunny, Sunset, and Twilight away as Odessa forced her vines forward while Odessa is struggling to push back as the two Earth Pony mares glared at each other.

Odessa strained as her magic sparked as Zinnea's vines got closer, which made Zinnea smirked as her vines broke through and caught one of Odessa's hooves and pulled her down to the floor.

"Not so fast, Zinnea!" Zipp called out as she flew around Zinnea with a glare. "I don't know about when you're from…" She started off as her Cutie Mark glowed. "But ponies from our time make their own choices!" She shouted as she charged forward as she left a rainbow trail.

Zinnea glared as she used her magic to get the vines to attack Zipp, but Zipp easily avoided them as she did some stunts as she got closer to Zinnea and nudged her back a bit hard as she flew past her.

"Hey! Stop that!" Zinnea shouted as she watched Zipp fly up as she used her magic to make some vines grow and attack Zipp again, which made Zipp barely avoid them as the vines kept chasing her.

"Zipp needs help!" Sunset called out.

"Then let's go help her!" Twilight declared as she charged forward.

"Let's do this, Sunny." Sunset said as Sunny nodded as the Earth Pony went into her Alicorn form as the three Alicorns flew up.

Zipp braced herself for the incoming vines as three blurs came in and they didn't come as Zipp smiled as she saw Sunny using her magic shield to block the vines while Sunset and Twilight then started cutting them as the three Alicorns gave a smirk.

"Is that all you got, Future evil mare?!" Sunset taunted with a smirk, while Zinnea glared and growled hatefully at them, while having a sense of recognition to the Alicorns.

But then vocalizing was heard, which made Zinnea cringed from the loud music as she turn and saw Pipp singing with some pega-snails holding two speakers as Pipp sang loudly, which distracted Zinnea as Zipp, Sunset, Sunny and Twilight flew by her as they met up with Pipp.

Odessa then regained her bearings as she focused her magic to push Zinnea's vines back. Which Zinnea noticed as she growled and used her vines as they got into a standstill. Sunny, Zipp, Sunset, Twilight, and Hitch stood together as they focused their magic and gave Odessa a boost, which they glowed as OIdessa stomped down and used their magic to make flowers toward Zinnea.

Zinnea glared as she then stopped her hooves down, which created a shockwave that destroyed the plants while also knocking the ponies back a bit as Zinnea smirked evilly and created more vines at them and heading towards Odessa.

But then, those vines were blocked by Sunny as she used her shield to block them while Sunset and Twilight used their magic and blasted the vines to pieces. "You are not taking our friend anywhere she doesn't want to go!" Sunny said with a glare.

"Because forcing other ponies just to do something you are pleased with is a crime!" Twilight added with a glare.

"And Odessa is better off with the friends she makes over somepony abusing and forcing her against her will!" Sunset added as Odessa smiled while feeling touched by their words.

"Stay out of this!" Zinnea yelled out with a glare. "This has nothing to dop with either of you! Like I told those ponies back in our time about this!" She shouted.

"Not anymore." Izzy glared as she and Misty came stepped forward.

"When you mess with one pony friend, you mess with us!" Twilight added as Zinnea glared at them.

"You with me, Misty?" Izzy asked with a smirk as she levitated some items, which Misty did as well.

"You know it, Izzy!" Misty cheered sa the two combined their items and tossed them at Zinnea, who avoided them and used her vines to block them. "Pipp! Zipp!"

"We've got you, Misty!" Zipp called as she and Pipp flew into view.

"On it!" Pipp sang as the two then blew a gust of petals, which hit Zinnea as the wind pushed her back a bit.

Zinnea growled as she stomped her hooves down, which created cracks as a vine grew and grabbed Odessa's hoof again, which she struggle to break free as Misty and Haven came in as Haven then started pulling on Odessa to keep her back while Misty used her magic to levitate some scissors as the three ponies struggle to break the vine and get Odessa free.,

Zinnea kept pulling, but then magic blasts were hit as she turn and saw Sunset and Twilight circling her as they fired magic blasts at her, which she barely avoided while concentrating. "Now!" Sunset yelled out.

Hitch came trotting while Sunny landed beside him as the two ponies then used their Earth Pony magic to create a flower wall as Pipp and ZIpp used their wings to create a gust of wind that blew the petals at Zinnea, which started covering up as she groan from that and from the magic blasts Sunset and Twilight kept pouring as they pour on the pressure before Zinnea yelled in rage

"I've heard about you old timey ponies! Especially you Alicorns, the Princesses!" Zinnea yelled out as the Mane 8 kept pouring the pressure. "Always working together! Which even inspired a new generation in your place in my time! But I don't need anypony's help!" She yelled as magic as she gave a smirk and her magic glowed dark as the flowers on her whittled and turned to dust. "I'll show you the power of the FUTURE!" She yelled as her eyes glowed and she stomped her hooves down, which created a magic wave that make all the plants died out and sent the ponies flying and knocking away the Petal Gala's accessories.

After the shockwave, everypony was on the ground from the shockwave while the Petal Gala is a complete wreck as Zinnea walked towards Odessa after fixing her mane with a flip as she gave a smirk to Odessa, who quivered in fear as she used her magic and wrapped Odessa up in vines and lifted her up as Zinnea gave a sinister laugh as the Mane 8 looked in horror as Zinnea stomped her hooves down, which created vine spikes as Sparky and McSnipsalot ran off to avoid it as the ponies moved aside to avoid it as well.

Sunset, Twilight, and Sunny went airborne as they look at Zinnea as they glared at her. "We need to attack her together!" Twilight said.

"We might get her off balance, but we must try." Sunset said as Sunny nodded.

"Mind if I join in?" Flurry Heart asked with a smirk as she flew next to them with a determined look. "Can't let you ponies have all the fun."

"Sure thing, my dear niece." Twilight said with a smirk.

"Let's do this!" Sunny called as she formed a shield around her as the other Alicorns ready their horns as they charged at Zinnea with battle yells.

Zinnea was unfazed as she then used her magic to create a giant vine plant spike and launch at the Alicorns at highspeed, which hit Sunny's shield as she struggled to push back as before she was knocked away.

"Sunny!" Sunset called out as she, Twilight, and Flurry avoided the vines as they started blasting them back with their magic as some cut to pieces while more grew in its place.

"Is this what it was like back in the old days, Aunty?!" Flurry asked as she and Twilight were side by side as they took out many vines with their magic.

"Trust me, Flurry! It's sorta a thing that never goes away, and from this point on, it never does in the future!" Twilight called as they kept fighting the vines.

"As they say, the more things change, the more they stay the same!" Sunset added as she sent a magic swipe and took out multiple vines at once.

On the ground, Sunny groaned from the fell as she got up and got her bearings as she turn and saw Zinnea's vines still fighting Sunset, Twilight, and Flurry as Zinnea casually walked down her vines with a smirk as she inhaled with satisfaction as she turn to Odessa, still trap in her vine while looking in fear.

Sunny growled from seeing her friends in trouble as she growled as her magic glowed around her as the rest of her got their bearings, but unknowingly, their Cutie Marks glowed as their magic then entered Sunny, which caused her to glow brighter while her mane and tail moved with the wind as she then shot up into the sky while leaving a rainbow trail as she glared down at Zinnea, who looked up with a bored look at Sunny.

"Let! Go! Of! Her! NOW!" Sunny yelled as she then dived down at high speed, which Zinnea was unfazed by this as once Sunny make impact, which caused a magic explosion to form as a shockwave hit Odessa, which got her free from her vines as she fell to the floor as the rest of the Mane 8 watched in anxious.

"Sunny?" Sunset asked in worry as the dust cleared as Sunny was shown coughing from the smoke before she looked up and gasped when she saw Zinnea protecting herself with her vines as they then wittered away, showing her smug look as everypony looked in shock by this as Zinnea step forward to Sunny, who backed away a bit in fear.

Then an item was tossed, which nearly hit Zinnea, which startled her as she turned and glared as she saw Alphabittle throwing items as he, Onyx, and Misty stood together as Zinnea just gave a dull look and used more vines to attack, which the three Unicorns used their magic to use the items as a shield to protect themselves from the vine attack.

Queen Haven, Zoom and Thunder then came from the air and dive down past Zinnea, creating a huge as she glared and used her vines to attack them, but they were block by a tree, made by some Earth Ponies as Zinnea stepped back and then used her vines to block incoming items that were throwing at her as she saw the other Unicorns levitating the items and throwing them at Zinnea, forcing her back.

Zinnea then stomped her hooves as she got herself higher, which made the other ponies look in worry as she then charged at Odessa, who looked in fear, but then Odessa was surrounded by Earth Pony magic as she was then place in a protective flower barrier, which made Zinnea stop and looked in shock while Odessa looked in awe by this as she saw Posey, Dahlia, Dapple, and another unicor standing beside Odessa with determined looks, willing to protect her.

Izzy and Misty then combined their magic with a few other unicorns as they lifted up some pink paint and threw them at Zinnea, who got hit twice before Sunset, Twilight, and Flurry flew around and then fired their magic blasts at her, which caused her to grunt in pain before they flew by her.

Zinnea then growled as she then focus more of her magic as more vines grew as she gave a yell and went up a bit more and a strong surge swept and sent everypony back while Sunset, Sunny, and Twilight stood their ground as they saw the ponies getting Odessa to safety as Zinnea then sent more vines after them, which Posey and Dahlia quickly reacted and used their magic to create a vine wall to protect them as the vines slashed at them as they struggle to keep them back as Zinnea kept putting on the pressure.

The three Alicorns reacted as they flew forward and used a shield around thema s the vines grabbed them, which made Zipp gasped as she took off and flew around Zinnea, creating a cyclone as she flew as fast as she could as Sunny, Sunset, and Twilight them moved the vines away from them as they snapped them in half as the ponies protecting Odessa kept going.

"Don't future enemies ever quit?!" Sunset questioned with a glare.

"Apparently, they don't! And her magic is too strong, I don't know if we can stand a chance against somepony from the future where magic has evolved further!" Twilight called. "We need to stop her or she'll take Odessa and possibly mess up the timeline!"

"And how do we do that?!" Hitch asked, a bit worried as the ponies around them crowded around.

"By combining our magic!" Sunny declared with a serious look. "If we can combine our magic, we might gain enough to stop her!"

"It's worth a shot!" Sunset nodded as she turned to the crowd. "Everypony, focus your magic on us!" She called out, which made everypony nodded as they focused as all of the Ponies Cutie Marks all glowed.

That magic was then sent to the Brighthouse as the Unity Crystals then glowed brighter of their unity, which shot a rainbow beam up in the sky while at the same time, the future door on the wall inside the Brighthouse opened up again, but this time, have six shadow pony figures going through it as they saw the fight through the door as the lead pony nodded as the six ponies trotted out.

Back at the battle, Zinnea eye's glowed before she gave a roar, which summon another magic surged that sent everypony back as Sunny, Sunset, and Twilight were on the ground as Zinnea was lowered towards them with a sinister giggle before she laughed while everypony look in horror.

"Do you ponies really think you can stop me?" Zinnea asked with a smirk. "You are all history. I'm the new and improve pony from the future. You all have nothing to match my magic."

"Then how about ponies from the future to stop future villains like you?" A stallion's voice spoke up, which made Zinnea's eyes widden as she looked ahead, which made everypony turn to where she was looking as they look on in surprise.

Behind them was six sets of ponies, all who are wearing matching skin tight costumes with a triangle on their chest with the Unity Crystals on it while they have some futuristic outlines while the ponies have each sets of colors of their suits matching their fur coats.

The Earth Pony stallion in the middle is yellow, the Unicorn mare is pink, the Pegasus mare is red, the Unicorn stallion is green, the Pegasus Stallion is purple while having a strong bulk up muscle body, and the Earth Pony mare is orange as they stood tall and proud with determined smiles.

"What's up, plant killer." The yellow stallion said with a smirk.

"You again!?" Zinnea yelled out with rage as Odessa gasped at what she saw.

"More ponies from the future?" Twilight asked with a surprise look.

"Seriously, is our time like a time travel population?" Hitch asked with a brow.

"Could be." Izzy said with a cheerful smile.

"The question is, are they on our side?" Zipp questioned while eyeing the group with a suspicious look.

"You pick the wrong time period to attack over trying to force Odessa into your glory, Zinnea." The yellow stallion said with a glare as his eyes glowed yellow as the rest of his future friends' eyes glowed with their respective colors, which shocked everypony.

"I believe that answers your question, Zipp." Twilight said in stun.

Zinnea then growled as she launched more of her vines at the futuristic group, which the future ponies then charged forward as the yellow one jumped up to avoid a vine and did a triple flip as he landed on all fours with a pose.

"What?!" Hitch asked in shock by what the yellow Earth Pony stallion flipped.

The pink unicorn mare then landed in front of the vines heading towards her. "Come on, you overgrown weed. Show me whatcha got!" She challenged with a smirk as the vines headed towards her, but she then skillfully blasted and sliced them to pieces while levitating a few trimmers.

"Wow, she's really good." Misty commented in awed.

Then the red pegasus mare was flying around at top speed while the vines started chasing her as she moved around in different positions as the vines tried to follow, but they got caught by one another as the red pegasus mare stopped as she saw the vines all tied up thanks to her moving around in random directions.

"That's why speed is my thing. Two reasons, one: it really makes a mistake in tying one's up. And two-" She trailed off as the two vines started charging on both sides, but she flew off at high speed as the two vines collided with each other. "That's why!" She cheered.

"W-What?! S-She's fast!" Zipp said in complete shock.

"Faster than you, sis." Pipp teased with a smirk as Zipp gave her sister a look.

The green Unicorn stallion looked around at the vines surrounding him as he then noticed some old components that were wrecked from Zinnea's attack as he then used his magic to combine the pieces together and then made some sort of weapon in place as he aimed it at the vines.

"Time for a bit of burn out." He quipped as he then fired the weapon, which released a huge gust of flames as the vines burned to crisp as he kept aiming it at the vines coming at him.

"Wowzer!" Izzy cheered in awed. "He just unicycle those items into a flamethrower! Twist!" She cheered in excitement.

"Impressive enginuity." Twilight complimented with an impressive smile.

The strong purple pegasus stallion was flying in the air as he saw the vines coming at him. "Come on! That's it!" He called as he then picked up a big wreck stand. "Smile for me!" He called as he waved the stand around, which knocked away the vines as he smashed them to pieces as he tossed the stand aside.

"O.M.P. That pegasus is surely strong." Pipp said while fanning herself at how strong that pegasus stallion was.

Then the orange earth pony mare was doing some acrobatic techniques as she cartwheeled past the vines as she then used her Earth Pony magic to give herself the boost and used some vines to tangle up Zinnea's. "Ahaha! You can't hit moving targets!" She cheered as she jump up and stomp her hooves as more vines grew around and started lashing out the evil vines. "Ahaha, I love doing gardening."

"Wow. That mare sure knows how to have fun while fighting." Sunny commented.

"She's like Izzy but Earth Pony style." Sunset commented.

The yellow Earth Pony stallion then stepped forward to Zinnea as she growled at him. "I see you tried to even force Odessa back to you even through time." The stallion said with a glare.

"Grr! I thought I had to ditch you ponies before I followed Odessa." Zinnea said with a glare.

"Like all of Equestrian's past heroes, we're presentant." The stallion said with a glare. "You know how this goes, Zinnea, like all the other baddies we've faced. Unless you want to do this the hard way." He said with a smirk.

"I prefer the hard way until you ponies are out of existence!" Zinnea yelled as she swiped one of her vines down, but the stallion flipped away and landed on his hooves.

"Yeah. Like that's gonna happen." The stallion said with a glare as he then suddenly took out a retractable sword, which glowed as he jumped up and started slashing the vines to bits when the sword released some energy magical waves, which kept slice and dice each vines while avoiding each one.

"What kind of sword is that?!" Sunny asked with wide eyes.

"Not sure. But it's cool!" Zipp said with wide eyes. "Do you know about this?!" She asked Sunset and Twilight.

"Never seen that sword before in my life." Twilight said with wide eyes.

"Nope." Sunset nodded in agreement while they looked as shocked as the others.

The yellow stallion kept going before he flipped aside as his team regrouped beside him. "We could keep this up all day."

"Grrr! Not when I am still standing!" Zinnea roared as she then summoned more vines, which made the future six ponies stand ready with stances. "I will never stop! Never! What could you possibly think you can stop me since you couldn't keep me away from Odessa in our time?!"

They looked unfazed before the yellow stallion gave a smirk. "Oh, we weren't trying to stop you, Zinnea." The pink unicorn mare said with a smirk.

"We were just stalling ya for the Rainbow Magic of this time to charge up and for it to do its job." The green unicorn stallion added with a smirk.

"What?" Zinnea questioned before a bright light shines over them, which made the ponies around Zinnea to quickly get clear of her as Zinnea was then hit by the rainbow magic, which wrapped around her as it lifted her up and held her. "What is this?! What's… What's happening?! Let go of me!" She yelled as everypony gathered around with smiles while Odessa smiled in joy from this.

"Just in time." The red pegasus mare said while looking at her hoof that has a watch built in on her sleeve.

"Glad she told us the history of this event." The pink unicorn mare said with a smirk.

"History is always important to remember." The yellow Earth Pony stallion said with a smirk.

Zinnea then glared down at them, mostly at Odessa. "You'll regret this Odessa! And so would you, Guardians! You'll see!" She growled before the Rainbow Magic then glowed and shot her up into the sky. "NOOOOO!" She yelled out as Odessa smiled at Zinnea's defeat while the future ponies smirk at her. "You're nothing without me, Odessa! You'll see!" She growled as the rainbow magic consumed her as the rainbow magic exploded in the sky before flying back to the Crystal Brighthouse and fused back with the Unity Crystals as it glowed brightly.

"Now, I believe we have a Gala to enjoy?" The yellow stallion said with a smirk, until he and his future friends turned and saw everypony looking at them in shock while Odessa kept her smile. "Oh, right. Uh, explanation would be for later, ponies! But first." He walked up and pull out his sword and walked up to Odessa's protection flower and sliced it, which freed her. "I think Zinnea is finally gone now."

"Thank you! Thank you so much, Guardians!" Odessa cheered with a joyful smile as she looked at the future six ponies.

"Wait, Guardians?" Hitch asked with a surprise look.

"As in the-" Sunny trailed off.

"The Guardians of Harmony?" The yellow stallion answered for her with a smirk. "Yes. Yes we are." He said as he and his friends stood proudly.

"W-What?!" Sunset asked in shock.

"H-How can that-" Twilight stammered.

"Plenty of time to explain later. But for now, after a long and hard battle,how about we finish the Petal Gala? I heard it's the biggest event of this time, literally." The pink unicorn mare suggested with a smile.

"She got a point." Pipp said with a smile as the other ponies chattered in agreement.

"But we want full details when this is over, okay?" Sunset questioned as the future ponies nodded in agreement.

After the defeat of Zinnea thanks with the help of the Rainbow Magic and the future ponies, everypony fixed up the Petal Gala as the Mane 8 and Odessa were on stage as they sang and dance together while the crowd cheered on while the six future ponies watched with smiles and moving to the music,

The Mane 8 then huddled around Odessa and caught her in a hug as McSnipsalot then held up a camera as he aimed it at the Mane 8 and Odessa as they sang their final note.

Ahh, level up!

They then had their picture taken together as the crowd cheered on. "Just like in the history books." The yellow stallion said with a fond smile as he and his team watched with smiles.

Sometime later, the Mane 8, Odessa, and the future six ponies regroup at the Brighthouse after the Petal Gala was over as the six ponies then explained to them. "So, you ponies are our descendants?" Misty asked the six.

"Descendants, but more like successors from how far our time is." The yellow stallion said with a smile.

"Successors?" Sunset muttered in interest.

"What are your names?" Hitch asked.

"My name is Pax. Leader of the team." The yellow stallion, now named Pax, said with a bow. "These are my friends. Peak…" He gestured to the pink Unicorn mare, who smiled and waved. "Speedy." He said to the red pegasus mare, who nodded. "Tex." He gestured to the green unicorn stallion, who waved. "Breck." He said to the strong pegasus stallion, who crossed his arms with a nod. "And Blaze." He said to the final orange Earth Pony mare.

"Yeah! They're the Guardians of Harmony, heroes of Equestria in my time." Odessa said with a smile.

"Wait, that's the name my dad read about twilight and her friends." Sunny said with wide eyes while gesturing to Twilight and Sunset.

"And in our time, not only where they were read in the history books, but you ponies are as well." Tex said with a smile.

"Wait, we're in the history books in the future?" Pipp asked with a surprise smile.

"Yes. And we were inspired by your work and accomplishments, including your predecessors, we were founded together and stuck together to protect Equestria from upcoming threats, to prevent a certain 'Opaline Incident' that was read in the books and was told about it that it divided Equestria and magic vanished." Pax stated, which shock them even more.

"That is so cool!" Zipp said with a smile. "And wow, you ponies are very skilled." She commented before eyeing Speedy. "And you're fast."

"Learn from the best." Speedy nodded with a smile.

"And not to mention fabulous! Ooh!" Pipp cheered as she looked at the future ponies uniform. "These uniforms are rocking! Totally match and hero material! And having the Unity Crystals in the center of it! Aaah! That makes it even more perfect!" She cheered.

"Glad you approve." Peak said with a smile.

"Wait, Odessa, how come you never told us about these ponies when you first arrived here?" Hitch asked with a brow.

"Uh, one thing slipped my mind when I was escaping from Zinnea." Odessa said with a sheepish smile. "And uh, I thought since, you know, time and all, I couldn't let that slip out in the past."

"Okay, understandable." Twilight nodded, seeing her point.

"So, what is your story, future Guardians?" Sunset asked with a brow.

"Well, we were at Odessa's concert when she was about to sing on stage." Breck said with a shrug. "And when she ran off with Zinnea chasing her, we had to help."

"That, and we've been spying on Zinnea for weeks, trying to stop her after hearing much of her dark Earth Pony magic she was using to threaten Odessa to force to be on stage." Pax explained.

"She was a bit meany." Blaze said.

"Wait, weeks?" Zipp asked with a brow. "It took you ponies that long to stop somepony that evil?"

"Hey, it's not like we can just jump in and attack out of nowhere without proper evidence." Peak said to her.

"We would've done it sooner, but without actual proof, we risk causing more harm than damage." Speedy added.

"They have a point." Hitch said, knowing that if you want to reveal an evil creature's true color, find evidence before pursuing. "Very clever."

"Thanks, but when we saw Odessa making a break for it, we figure she would be our witness to testify Zinnea." Pax continued. "So we gave chase and let Odessa escape after holding off Zinnea, but then she vanished into that door that brought us here. Zinnea got the drop on us and went through when it closed behind us. But then after a bit, it opened up again and well, you can guess the rest."

"Our Unity magic must've opened up the door again to bring you to our aid to stop Zinnea." Twilight theorizes.

"Well, whatever the case, she's gone now." Breck said with a smirk. "That's another job well done thanks to the Guardians of Harmony."

"And the past ones as well." Blaze added while gesturing to the Mane 8. "Their magic is as strong as it says in the books."

"Thank you. We do our best." Sunny said with a smile.

"Speaking of, what kind of sword was that?" Sunset asked Pax, which he took out his retractable sword. "I've never seen a sword with magic before."

"Oh, this is the Harmony Unity Sword. Holds the power of Harmony and magic for those who wield it." Pax answered. "It really comes in handy to use in a fight and for a warrior."

"Where did you come across that kind of sword, in the future I mean." Twilight said to him.

"Well, it was when you ponies forge it to help against…" Pax trailed off when he saw the surprise and interest looks on their faces. "Ah, sorry. Spoilers."

"Gotta keep the timeline intact after all." Tex said with a smirk.

"True enough!" Izzy said with a cheerful smile.

"Now, as fun as it may be. I think it's time for us to go." Speedy said with a smile.

"Yeah, we gotta get back to our own time before we screw up the timeline anymore than it already has." Pax said as his friends and Odessa nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, I guess it is time." Odessa said with a small smile.

"Aw, are you sure you have to go back to your time, Odessa?" Izzy asked her.

"Yeah. I've gotten kind of used to having somepony to sing with." Pipp said with a hoof over Odessa's before they held hooves.

"Me too, Pipp. Being here has changed my life." Odessa said with a smile as she look at the Mane 8, who smiled at her. "You ponies have shown me the meaning of true friendship."

"And now that you know what that feels like…" Misty started with a smirk.

"I'll never let somepony like Zinnea back into my life again." Odessa declared with a smile as the two ponies shared a hooftap.

"And hey, Odessa, if you want, we can be your friends." Pax suggested.

"Really?" Odessa asked with an exciting smile.

"Yeah, with Zinnea gone, we can make sure you get your life settled without her." Peak said with a smile.

"And we happen to know some ponies who can help with that." Tex added with a knowing smirk.

"So, what do you say?" Breck asked with a smirk as Odessa eyed them as she jumped with excitement.

"Yes! I would love that!" Odessa cheered, which made the new Guardians of Harmony smile at her before the wall glowed as they turned and saw the door back to the future forming.

"Wow." Misty said in awed as the door opened up.

"The door to the future." Twilight muttered in awed.

"The Brighthouse really has everything, huh?" Sunset asked with a smile.

"Looks like it's time for you ponies to go." Zipp said with a small smile at the seven future ponies.

"Aw, we're sure gonna miss you around here, Odessa. And we just happen to make new friends with more future ponies." Hitch said as Sparky babbled and jumped on Odessa's back as she moved around a bit with a smile as the two hugged before Sparky hopped back on Zipp's back.

"Here." Sunny said while giving the group photo they had taken together at the Petal Gala. "So you never forget us." She said as Odessa accepted the photo with a smile.

"Thanks, Sunny." Odessa said to her.

"That picture is gonna be worth something in our time. And a memory to remember by." Blaze commented as they all shared a small laugh.

Odessa then look at the Mane 8. "You ponies will always be with me." She said as then some magic circled them as it hit the picture, which surprise the group as they look in awed as the photo then folded into Odessa's Cutie Mark as it fused with her actual one as they look in amazement as the Mane 8 gave Odessa a goodbye hug while the new Guardians of Harmony watches with warm smiles.

They then separated as Twilight and Sunset stepped forward. "We don't know if we'll ever see each other again, but the comfort is that we know the future is in good hooves." She said while looking at the new Guardians of Harmony.

"And that you are protecting Equestria and keeping friendship alive, that's a big determination you ponies have." Sunset said with a smile.

"You princesses always said those kinds of things to us." Peak said with a smile, which made the Mane 8 look surprised.

"Wait, Princesses? Odessa said something similar to us, but we never-" Sunset trailed off as her eyes widened. "Wait, are you saying that Twilight, Sunny and I will be-"

"Aahahah! No spoilers!" Pax shouted, which made them flinch as he cleared his throat. "Anyway, time to go! See ya ponies!"

"And keep protecting Equestria and spreading the magic of friendship!" Blaze cheered as the New Guardians of Harmony went through the door back to their own time.

Odessa was about to follow as she stopped and turned back to her friends, who recovered from their shock as they all said goodbye to her with a couple of them having tears in their eyes as they waved. Odessa teared up a bit as she stepped into the door herself.

Odessa was back in the corridor she came from as she looked back and saw the door to the past faded as she smiled, knowing that no matter what time period she's in, she'll never forget the friends she made from the past.

Odessa then came out of the corridor as she was back on stage of her time period in the future as she stepped on stage next to her microphone where she saw the new Guardians of Harmony at front stage, who waved to her while giving her encouraging smiles.

Odessa smiled back at her new friends as she gathered up the confidence and spoke to her microphone. "This last song is dedicated to the ponies who taught what it means to be a true friend and inspired the Guardians of Harmony today!" She announced, which made the crowd cheered louder while the new Guardians of Harmony felt touched by this. "This might be Pipp Petal's song, but you know the words! So sing it with me!" She announced as the crowd cheered louder as the futuristic stage lights turned on.

Odessa sang as her platform floated up as she gave a wink to the crowd as the digital projections of the Mane 8 were shown on billboards across the future city as Odessa kept singing as the lights shined as her Cutie Mark glowed as she danced around.

Her Cutie Mark then glowed out of her as it then shot up in the air as a giant projection of the Mane 8 and her together as Odessa kept singing while the Guardians of Harmony smiled proudly at her.

Beyond the crowd, a certain Alicorn was watching over as she gave a small smile as she was as tall as Celestia as her Cutie Mark of a red and yellow sun on it, it was Sunset Shimmer from the future, as she smiled proudly. "Nicely done, my pupils. We're proud." She said with a smile. "Time to head back to where my two friends are." She then took off to the sky as she thought she saw enough of Odessa's performance, knowing it was great, since she already knew it was and knew how Odessa became even greater thanks to the new Guardians of Harmony and the past.
