Author's Note: Welcome back everyone to The Loud 10: Omnitrix Team Adventures! Now, it's the Part 5 of the Season 4 premiere! This means that the Omnitrix Team & the Ghostbusters have one more mandala node to destroy to stop the Ghostworld from spilling into Earth. S4: 5:
Later that night, the Omnitrix Team was flying in Rust Bucket 3 over the Hudson River, while the Ghostbusters take their boat called Ecto-8, where they found the castle of Shandor Island rising from the water. And that's when the rest of the Omnitrix Team dropped off Lincoln, Julie, Isa, Kevin & Kai, while Ray does the same for the other Ghostbusters.
"I can't believe this was underwater in the Hudson River the whole time, and no one even knew until now." Julie looks at the place.
"What do you know about this place, Egon?" Lincoln asked.
"The Shandors owned this island for generations. The castle was built in the 1860s. Ivo Shandor used it as a refuge, a lab and a temple for he and the other cult members to worship Gozer." Egon explained.
"Okay, that's all well and good. But can someone explain to me how an entire island sink?" Winston asked.
"The night the last Shandor died, there was a huge tidal surge, and the river just swallowed the island whole. Shandor consecrated the island to Gozer, and the Ghostworld reclaimed it." Egon added more information.
"Wow." Isa responded.
"Well, the technology is from those old days too, that's for sure." Kevin commented while Julie manifested the pink version of the Proton pack for him.
"City's lucky it's in the middle of the river instead Rockefeller Center." Winston said.
"We're lucky now. But soon the Ghostworld will continue to assert itself into ours, and the damage will be incalculable." Egon reminded.
"Then in that case, we must move forward quickly." Kai suggested having his Proto-Tool equipped with the pink version of the proton pack also.
"It appears we need to take that staircase to get inside." Egon noticed a staircase on the other side of the hole.
"That's a big hole, guys. And I'm not swimming in the Hudson River in July at night. So, how do you want to get across?" Winston asked.
"Maybe that crane still works." Egon looks at an old crane.
"Well. If you could do that from over there to over here...make the world a better place." Peter joked.
"So, the fossilized boat wasn't enough? Now you want to activate some pre-Colombian deathtrap machinery?" Winston questioned.
"Pre-Colombian death trap machinery utilizes an entirely different principle." Egon corrected.
"Well, I don't see any controls on that crane. How can we get it to move?" Winston asked. "Hey! What about the slime tether?" He brought up.
"I was gonna turn into Upgrade, but that works too." Lincoln said.
"Let me see what this can do with a crane." Isa uses the PDS to slime tether the base of the crane, followed by the arm part before tethering one end to the wall and the other to a pole. "This should work." She watches the crane move in the direction they wanted while a metal bridge was over the hole.
"Bring it in! Almost there! Whoa! Great!" Egon said as the metal bridge fits over the hole perfectly.
"Yo! Princess Isabel!" Peter makes an impressed tone.
"Good work!" Winston complimented.
"Excellent work, princess!" Kai agreed as they crossed it while climbing up the stairs.
"Thanks. Let's get started." Isa said when they saw a mine wagon heading towards them. "Heads up!" She alerted when they all moved out of the way.
"Good call." Kevin saw the wagon crash.
"Kids, you, okay? Let's keep moving." Egon said.
"Hey, you think the Ghostbusters' got multiple other vehicles like us?" Kevin asked in whispered.
"Egon told me they did. Why?" Julie asked while Ray takes Ecto-8 outside to be with Rust Bucket 3 due to the danger of falling Debree.
"I bet they could use some tinkering. Plus, I'm glad we left Camperzilla in the hanger where Rust Bucket 3 was. Lincoln's mom would kill me and so would Lisa & Lana." Kevin shrugged as they reached the courtyard. "Woah. Talk about old-style." He noticed while looking at the statue.
"That's a three-million-dollar view, even by Manhattan standards." Egon said.
"My ancestor was the duke of a castle in Scotland. The castle there is as big as this one, only the people have been much nicer." Lincoln remembers the castle of Loch Loud.
"Shandor's public architectural style ranged from Federal to Art Deco. His personal taste, however, obviously leaned toward the Gozerian." Egon mentioned.
"Oh, now I see what they mean by early demonic." Winston noted as they climbed up the stairs.
"Our main objective is inside the castle. But I suggest we'd be cautious." Kai advised when a loud roar was heard.
"Well. That doesn't sound good." Egon responded.
"No, it doesn't." Isa gulped setting as the packs were ready to fire.
"There's an open door!" Egon noticed when the flaming gargoyle statues from times square flew in.
"Hey, we know those guys." Winston remembered as he, the other Ghostbusters, Isa, Kevin & Kai started shooting.
"Just hope our gargoyles have been aware of this." Kevin makes armor from absorbing the blocks of the castle's structure before punching two slime monsters.
"It makes me wonder what else is in that castle!" Julie manifested pink fists to destroyed three flaming gargoyle statues and two slime monsters with her yo-yo's pink fire.
"Look out! Above you!" Winston warned with one of the gargoyle statues flying towards Lincoln.
"Woah!" Lincoln dodges them before activating the Omnitrix to become... "Bloxx! Shandor is the only one who can build things! Just ask Rex Salazar Casagrande!" He fires his Bloxx-lobbers to destroy the statues.
"Wasn't expecting the walking building blocks." Kevin shot one gargoyle statue with the proton stream. "Got 'em." He then helps Peter up.
"That explains why they attacked us in Times Square: they're gargoyles from Shandor buildings." Egon realized while Isa neutralized some black slime with the PDS.
"This way!" Kai leads them over the bridge when some more slime monsters appeared. "Watch out!" He alerted blasting them.
"That's a lot of...whatever they are!" Winston noticed when Kai destroyed every slime monster thanks to his Proto-Tool's Custom Bow function.
"My Proto-Tool has more than one function. And thanks to Julie, they go well with whatever the proton pack is set to." Kai explained as Julie & Isa both neutralized the black slime in front of him. "Thank you. And gracias." He politely said.
"You're welcome/ De nada." Both girls accepted as they reached the door that goes inside, when it suddenly closed on them.
"Closing the door on somebody's face. Rude." Kevin commented.
"Look. The door's controlled by that chain!" Winston noticed.
"Okay, Omnitrix Team. You first...I've got your back." Egon volunteered.
"Look at this maze at the bottom of the stairs. I thought I saw a crank. Maybe that can work." Isa leads her teammates & Egon down the stairs into a hedge maze.
"Did you know that hedge mazes are historically designed to conceal a secret shortcut?" Egon informed.
"Well, there's still one crank that works down there, try using it to open the door." Winston told when the Omnitrix Team members & Egon walk around the maze until they found the crank. "The door looks like it's connected to that crank, see if you can get it to turn." He instructed.
"Guess I should go Humungosaur." Bloxx looks at the crank.
"Wait. I have a better idea." Isa uses the PDS to slime tether one of the handles to the wall next it, making it go forward. "Lincoln, Bloxx could still be strong enough to push this thing!" She believed.
"Keep going! You're getting closer!" Egon observed.
"Ok then! Here we go!" Bloxx shapeshifts his building block body make him tall enough to push the handle behind the tether one, which helped get the door open. "Got it!" He said.
"That did it! The door's wide open! Get back up here!" Winston said when humanoid slime monsters appeared.
"Incoming!" Kai shoots six of them.
"Great we're fighting zombies made of black slime like in the museum!" Kevin punches & shoots some himself.
"Just need to get these out of the way, so we can get inside!" Bloxx stretches his arms to smash several more slime monsters.
"Two more!" Isa helps the Ghostbusters shoot proton streams & PDS to destroy a slime monster.
"And then there were none!" Julie whips the last monster into pieces after her yo-yo purified it.
"Come on!" Bloxx told as they went inside. "Ok, we're in! Hey!" He noticed the door closed behind them.
"Hm. I take it we're not welcome." Egon suspected while the Segmentasapien changed back to human.
"Yeah? There's a first. I'm gonna get us all name badges that say "Hello. I'm not welcome." Or maybe t-shirts. Or coffee mugs." Winston commented as they went left.
A second later they went left, the Omnitrix Team members & Ghostbusters look to see different painting portraits of different members of the Shandor family. However, Julie noticed one painting that really caught her attention.
"Guys, look what I found!" Julie points their attention to a painting of a woman with a familiar face.
"That painting is old. But I see Ilyssa." Lincoln recognized the face like everyone else.
"You and me both. She's wearing just a simple terrycloth robe. And she's bought me coffee." Peter stares in awe.
"That's her alright. Spitting image." Winston agrees with the recognition.
"The only difference is that she was wearing modern day clothes when we left the firehouse." Kai remembered.
"The resemblance is uncanny. This is Ivo Shandor's mother, painted in 1885." Egon identified.
"Wait. What? Ilyssa is a Shandor?" Winston in surprise.
"That explains it! That's why the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man & the Chairman's ghost tried to kidnap Ilyssa! Because she's a descendant of the Shandor family!" Isa gasped in realization.
"Why does this always happen to me? I meet a girl. She's crazy about me. But she always turns out to be some kind of unbelievable fixer upper!" Peter complained.
"You should've seen Lincoln's past moments with many girls. Or Jazz's sister's Negative Illumitarian form. Ow." Kevin gets nudged by both Lincoln & Isa.
"This is all making sense. Ilyssa must have inadvertently triggered the Mandala because she has Shandor blood." Egon figured out.
"She doesn't know it. When I did her profile, she told me she was adopted." Peter brought up.
"Which means the ghost attacks where she got abducted or almost was not a mere coincidence." Kai pondered.
"Some coincidence, huh?" Winston asked.
"You don't really believe this happened by accident?" Peter asked.
"No. Someone must have known and set this up." Winston suspected.
"The mayor did say that Peck recommended Ilyssa to be the guest curator of the Gozer Exhibit." Egon remembered.
"Which we're now glad we destroyed by the way." Kevin added.
"Once a Peck, always a Peck." Winston commented knowing Peck had caused them trouble again. "Shandor must have employed hundreds of workers for years to build this place!" He added.
"The supports are waterlogged, the mortar is decrepit, and the foundation is shattered. In purely physical terms, there's no way all of this can still be standing." Egon noticed.
"You sound like you're surprised." Winston said.
"No, not really. It's beautiful, in a horrific way." Egon answered.
"You can't deny the pure genius of Shandor, it's a pity that it was all used for evil. If he would have just channeled some of it for good, the things he could have done." Ray's voice was heard from the walkie talkies.
"Azmuth is the pure genius of the Omnitrix. Only unlike Shandor, Azmuth used what he created for good. He created the Omnitrix so the wielder could bring peace throughout the universe. Just like when it comes to Julie's power as Lady Rose thanks to whoever made her earrings." Lincoln brought up as they saw some spirits doing something with black mass, figuring that's why the building is still standing, before they destroyed the spirits & some slime monsters.
"It's officially time for us to go." Winston figured as they all head into the next room. "Check this place out." He whistled.
"Unless my sensory array is malfunctioning, that is definitely the place we're looking for." Egon calculated when Lincoln, Kevin, Julie, Isa & Kai stepped onto a trapped door when it opened.
"AAAHHHHH!" All five Omnitrix Team members yelled when they fell through the trapped door.
"Hey, where'd L-10, Levin, Mr. By the Book, and the Princess caddy go?" Peter turns to see the Omnitrix Team members were missing. "Yo! Brave shorties! Come on out!" He gets no answer when another spirit came towards him.
"Peter! Behind you!" Egon alerted as the three Ghostbusters were attacked by several spirits.
"What happened?" Lincoln asked as the five Omnitrix Team members got up while shaking off falling through the trapped door.
"I believe it was a trapped door. The good news is that we're okay! The bad news is that we're separated from the Ghostbusters!" Kai answered.
"No! Get back! Take your imaginary hands off me, man!" Winston's voice was heard from Isa' walkie talkie.
"Winston?!" Julie widened her eyes as they listened.
"No! There's too many of them!" Egon's voice was suddenly interrupted by the attack.
"Egon! They got Egon! Bring him back here! Kids! Help us!" Winston called out when the communication has cut off.
"What just happened?!" Isa asked in shock.
"I don't know. But it looks like until we find them, we're on our own." Lincoln answered as they started going into some kind of sewer.
"And then there were five." Kevin gets another nudge from Isa. "Ow." He winced.
"If we go this way, we could find the Ghostbusters. But we must be careful in case we come across a puzzle, ghost or monster." Kai figured.
"Woah. Look at all this black slime." Julie noticed a river of the black slime below the floors.
"Well, at least we don't have to worry about it for now. But let's keep our guard up." Isa hosed PDS to neutralize the puddles of black slime around them.
"Can't let these monsters get reinforcements. Better safe than sorry." Kevin commented as they continued their way while running into spider-like slime monsters.
"Wonder if these guys like acid!" Lincoln dials the Omnitrix and pressed the core to turn into..."Goop!" He begins to shoot acidic slime to destroy the slime monsters in their path.
"I guess not!" Julie said as they kept going until they found a room with the entire floor filled with black slime.
"There's even more black slime in here! And that's trouble!" Goop said while Julie & Isa neutralized two puddles of black slime on the walkway. "Good call." He added.
"And the eerie voices don't help either." Kevin hears so many creepy whispers.
"Good thing we have the PDS Egon gave us and my purification powers too. Makes sure there's less bad stuff from the puddles." Julie purified another puddle of black slime, neutralizing it.
"We should find a way out of here before we get ambushed." Kai suggested as they found a sewer. "This sewer gate could be the drain." He said.
"You're right. My paragoggles say it controls the flow of the black slime. If we open it up, the gate will drain it." Isa scanned. "And instead of making it up, it should go down." She figured it out.
"Correct. Now, we need to find a to do it." Kai pondered.
"I bet those would help. Could be some levers or something." Kevin points to some levers on both sides of the gate. "We pull them down; gate drains the slime." He added.
"And we need someone strong enough to push the gate down enough in the middle to do it." Isa added as she & Kevin use the capture stream to pull the levers down.
"Lincoln, you think Humungousaur could help now?" Julie asked Lincoln.
"Let see if he can!" Goop presses the Omnitrix so he can switch to what he wanted... "Humungousaur!" He uses his strength to push down the sewer gate, which along with Kevin & Isa's capture stream got it down successfully.
"It's working! All of it is going down!" Kai watches the slime get drain when a noise was heard. "When I said before we get ambushed, I think I spoke too soon!" He points to a big monster made of black slime wearing chains suddenly coming towards them from the floor where the slime was.
"That's a big black slime monster!" Kevin's eyes widened as they ran from the big black slime monster while he, Kai, & Isa shoot it at the same time.
"Lincoln, you might wanna power up now!" Julie advised shooting pink fire while Humungousaur pressed the Omnitrix, as the prongs pop out, evolving him into...
"ULTIMATE HUMUNGOUSAUR!" Ult. Humungosaur roared forming his right hand into a gatling gun, shooting bio-missiles. "Guys, if the PDS neutralizes puddles of black slime, maybe it can work on this guy!" He said.
"Better try it then!" Isa hosed down the big slime monster with the PDS, which along with the bio-missiles destroyed it. "It worked!" She responded when the spider-slime monsters appear.
"Good! Because we still got trouble!" Kevin was shooting some boson darts.
"Neutralizes the slime portals! I'll cover for you!" Ult. Humungousaur rams & stomps the spider slime monsters into oblivion.
"We got this one!" Isa hoes the PDS on one of the portals of black slime with Kevin.
"And we have the other!" Kai does the same thing along with Julie's manifested pink fists as both slime portals were neutralized.
"There's another one!" Julie sees another big slime monster.
"Hose it down!" Kai alerted as everyone minus Ult. Humungousaur & Julie hoses the big slime monster down with the PDS.
"Julie, fire at will!" Ult. Humungousaur shoots more bio-missiles.
"Yikes!" Julie manifested a pink version of Ult. Humungousaur's gatling gun hand on, which helped him destroyed the big slime monster. "Phew. I learned from the master." She smiles at the Evolved Vaxasaurian.
"Glad you did. I knew you would make your own version sooner or later." Ultimate Humungousaur nodded, deciding to change back to Humungousaur and then back to Lincoln.
"No more giant slime monsters. Good." Kevin looks around to see the room now empty while Isa hosed more puddles of black slime.
"But we still need to find the Ghostbusters, or we'll never find the Mandala node and get out of here." Lincoln reminded.
"There's a tunnel. We can follow it with the PKE Meters and see if we can find where they've been taken." Isa leads them down a tunnel.
"Better keep that Proton Pack on PDS for now. The less black slime in our way, the better." Kevin absorbs metal from the walls to make armor. "And for a little safety measure." He said.
"Good idea, Kevin." Isa agreed as they walk down the tunnel. "You know, Kevin, it's hard to believe you were once that same kid who once made Julie here cry after running away, got into a fight with my girlfriend many times before, and had got mutations that tried to kill Lincoln three times." She brought up.
"Yeah, he was. And my sisters are to blame for that first mutation he had too." Lincoln commented.
"But he's not like that anymore. He's really changed." Julie assured.
"They're right you know." Kevin said when they ran into several spider slime monsters, which the Osmosian quickly destroyed. "That deals with our pest control." He showed he did by forming his hand into a hammer.
"Feel worried that you might mutate again while being exposed to the black slime?" Lincoln guessed.
"Not after what Ray said about that it could destroy every cell in your body. Just glad we're wearing our suits and most of us are carrying these packs." Kevin answered showing he's not worried about mutating anymore.
"I was afraid of losing my family again, especially if Ivo Shandor used the black slime to do it." Isa brought up. "But not anymore." She smirks determinedly.
"I'm glad you aren't. Hmm. We should probably go up this way since it has no dead end." Kai points to the tunnel on the right which leads up.
"Right. This way." Isa punned as they head up the tunnel before finding another fork in it. "Ok, now the meter is telling us to keep moving." She added as they then went left.
"Hey, Isa! I'm trapped in a dark place. Can barely move my arms. Can you find me?" Winston's voice was heard from Isa's walkie talkie.
"That sounds like Winston." Julie recognized when they made another left turn that made them go up.
"I think you're getting closer to me; the sounds are getting louder. You know, I always like you more than the others did." Winston said as the Omnitrix Team members found a hole that led them out into a room with some kind of machine. "Keep looking, kids. I've got to be somewhere in here!" He told.
"Winston!" Julie called out when they noticed a statue wiggling.
"Hey! In here! Give me a hand!" Winston was trapped inside.
"According to the goggles, it's called the Iron Maiden. Might not be easy to get you out. Unless..." Isa goes up to the Iron Maden before pressing a button which freed Winston.
"Unless you find the button." Kevin finished.
"Hey, thanks, kids! I was seriously getting cramped up in there." Winston thanked. "This is all looking familiar. Ray would be giggling right now." He looks around.
"What is this place?" Lincoln asked.
"This must be where all the mood slime came from. Look! They must've pumped it straight into the sewers from here. Let's go find Egon...then we'll think about finding Peter." Winston answered as they got up the stairs.
"Now we're in a ghost factory. That's a new addition to the weirdest places we've been too." Kevin looks around.
"Shandor's cult was working some crazy experiments in here. There's blue slime, pink slime, yellow slime. But every ghost in here is coated with black slime." Winston figured. "What's generating it all? Where's it all coming from?" He asked as they walk around when black slime portals appeared, releasing both spirits and slime monsters.
"Of course, they'd come into the lab!" Kevin responded forming hand into a blade before slicing several slime monsters.
"But on the bright side, we don't have to trap them! Makes it easier!" Kai shoots several of the spirits.
"Not sure I feel better about it!" Lincoln activates the Omnitrix again, and this time he becomes..."Terraspin!" He shouts in a deep voice before swatting four slime monsters with his fins.
"Being dead for 180 years sure hasn't changed these guys' disposition. I'm not sure which one of you shoved me in that crate, but you all owe me a big apology!" Winston shoots several of them with his proton stream.
"A little sliming will work for these things!" Isa hoses several slime monsters & spirits into oblivion with her PDS before being saved from a spirit & two slime monsters. "Thanks Julie!" She thanked the Hathaway girl.
"You're welcome!" Julie whips more spirits & slime monsters into pieces with her yo-yo.
"Last one!" Terraspin holds up his fins while combining his legs into the same shape, and releasing a powerful wind blast which blows the remaining spirit away and destroys it.
"This is the kind of stuff that really would show well on your review. I think you're really turning some heads back at our headquarters. Man, what are these spooks up to? I get the whole Mandala-immortality-and-power thing, but what's up with all the science." Winston asked. "Ah. This island has got to be sitting on a cross dimensional portal." He added as they got downstairs.
"I think I hear you guys. Yes, that sounds like the Omnitrix Team members' respective powers, abilities & weapons, and my equipment. You are getting close." Egon's voice was heard on the walkie talkies.
"That sounds like Egon's voice. But where is he?" Julie manifested her pink butterfly wings to fly around a bit. "I see a doorway. That could be where he is." She leads everyone into the next room.
"Get me out of this thing. I don't wanna be eating by black slime." Egon's voice was heard while Julie noticed a moving Iron Maiden.
"Egon, hang on, we're almost to you!" Winston said.
"Found him." Julie pushed the button, opening the Iron Maiden and releasing Egon.
"Thank you. This would've reflected well on yours, Isa's or your other teammates' performance review. I can even add that to the ones the Plumbers have if you like. In most cases I find close proximity to mildew stimulating. That was a little much though." Egon thanked. "Have you seen Venkman?"
"Well...you know..." Winston started.
"Have you looked for him?" Egon asked.
"Well...you know..." Kevin tries to answer.
"The meter seems to indicate that he's somewhere in this direction." Egon scanned when more slime ghosts & monsters appeared.
"Ugh! Not again! Speaking of proximity, I would rather not have these guys in mine! Any of ours' for that matter!" Isa hoses several slime monsters with the PDS.
"We got another problem! They got a big guy in here too!" Kevin points a big slime monster like the ones from before. "This comes to show you, Shandor made whatever monster he creates relentless!" He hoses it down with the PDS along with Isa.
"Lincoln, I know you don't to get us caught in the crossfire, but I do think you should make a tornado right now!" Kai suggested to the Geochelone Aerio.
"Okay! Heads up!" Terraspin has his fins & legs in the same position & spins them to create a tornado powerful enough to destroy all the slime monsters & ghosts. "That takes care of them!" He said.
"Thanks Lincoln." Julie joins in after purifying the black slime portals thanks to the pink fists she manifested.
"Yeah. We should be safe for now." Isa agreed hosing PDS to neutralize black slime on the walls.
"The machinery indicates an astounding level of sophistication. Pure evil notwithstanding, Ivo Shandor was far ahead of his time. You know, I have to take my hat off to Shandor. This lab was built how many years ago? It's truly impressive. It's like Shandor was THE parapsychology expert of his time." Egon looks at the factory/lab while impressed.
"Stay in the light, Egon." Julie & Winston reminded.
"I'm trying, Julie & Winston." Egon said.
"Should we try to find Peter, or...?" Winston started.
"They probably stashed him around here somewhere." Egon figured.
"I don't know. I think he's fine." Kevin tried to make an excuse.
"Guys, come on! We're not leaving him behind!" Terraspin opposed the idea. "Let's find him!" He added.
"You're being way too nice, dude." Kevin shrugged.
"Help! You, a little help!" Peter's voice was heard.
"Shh! I think I hear him!" Winston shushed for a second.
"You mean like when he's up there?" Isa points to Peter being above them.
"Did somebody call a break?" Peter asked.
"Yeah, that's Venkman, alright. Now, we're sure about this right?" Winston asked.
"Yes." Julie, Isa & Kai both answered.
"Four to two. We've been outvoted." Kevin rolls his eyes.
"We need to be at full strength to shut down this node." Egon reminded.
"Way to go! The rest of the Omnitrix Team & I feel a momentum swing here in our favor, get out there and find the mandala node and shut it down. That should peeve someone off." Ray called from the walkie talkies.
"This elevator should still work." Kai said as they all entered an old elevator which takes them up perfectly. "It does." He responded.
"Hey. I got places to go and people to meet. Can we move outta here?" Peter asked.
"Great job, kids, glad to hear Peter is okay!" Ray said from his end.
A few seconds later, the five Omnitrix Team members & Ghostbusters went upstairs to find the room where the Mandala node is. But they also found a tall machine in the center of the room.
"What are those? And what are they doing?" Julie asked.
"The readings are as big as those at the library when we crossed over. I think it's safe to assume that the machine they're working on was not built for a benign purpose. It's an orrery; a device typically used to predict planetary alignment. In this case, it appears to actually be aligning dimensions." Egon identified.
"I for one do not want the dimensions to align. Not this close to Independence Day." Winston commented.
"That would put a damper on the first week of July." Egon agreed.
"How do we shut that thing down?" Winston asked.
"The motion of those devices seems to be generating some sort of energy. Hard to tell though." Egon answered.
"What if we tried locking those things down?" Winston asked again.
"I can calculate 54 outcomes. We'd survive 3 of them." Egon calculated.
"That beats our usual odds." Winston figured.
"Unfortunately, you're correct. Let's do it." Egon agreed.
"We had those odds and outcomes before. Normally, with aliens, E.V.O.s, villains & other things." Terraspin remembered.
"It looks like the movement of those spheres is stabilizing the interior structure. What if they stopped moving? So far, this gooey island has been a slime tether amusement park. Why should that change now?" Winston asked.
"Let us handle it." Isa volunteered herself & her teammates as they go behind the orrery.
"Please. One pull from a slime tether, and these things would break once they hit the ground." Kevin smirked as he has the PDS slime tether the first sphere to the ground close enough to pull it down and make it break. "Oops." He chuckled.
"My turn!" Julie manifested a pink version of a familiar tail to shoot pink webbing on the next sphere & tether it to the ground, which pulls it down and breaks it also.
"Was that Spidermonkey's tail & webbing." Terraspin recognized.
"It shows that the PDS is not the only thing we know how to tether with." Julie giggled making the tail disappear while manifesting her butterfly wings again.
"Isa, let me help you with this one." Kai begins to slime tether the last sphere along with Isa for good measure. "Lincoln, get ready for fly us in case of trouble." He gets a nod from the transformed Loud boy.
"One, two, three!" Isa counted as she & Kai slime tether the sphere to the ground, pulling down and destroying the sphere just like the rest.
"Yes! You did it! How come people smart enough to use science always tries to take over the universe. Huh? Egon? Ray? Anyone...I didn't think so?" Winston questioned.
"Uh, Lincoln, I think you & Julie should get us upstairs. Something doesn't feel right." Isa suspected.
"I can sense it too! Flying up to the second floor like Kai suggested starting now!" Terraspin carries Kai & Isa on the back of his shell while he flies up.
"Good enough for me!" Kevin agreed being carried by Julie while she does the same thing with good timing.
"Wait. Those planets are aligning. I'm not sure this was the safest course of action." Egon when he heard a gurgling sound.
"Egon! Get up the stairs!" Isa alerted as Egon ran upstairs when the pipes spew a large amount of black slime.
"I think we found the source of the black slime, Winston." Egon quickly runs upstairs.
"I wasn't that curious! The whole room is filling up! Get to higher ground!" Winston alerted as everyone did just that.
"Phew. Good call, Kai." Julie catches her breath while Terraspin changes back.
"Alright ladies & gentlemen. It's official: this was a bad idea." Egon said as the room below them was filled with black slime while the orrery was destroyed.
"Shh! Here comes the big finale." Peter shushed as something big begins to rise up.
"Not sure that's the big finale we're expecting!" Kevin said.
"Ugh! The stench is horrible!" Winston smelled something awful from whatever's rising up.
"Smells like the Fulton fish market when they've got fish. Wait. I know that dumpster." Peter said.
"It smells disgusting!" Isa was disgusted by the smell.
"A putrid mass of hatred, bile and anger." Egon figured.
"Not exactly Mr. Sunshine, is he?" Winston questioned as it was revealed to be a large monster that looks reptilian.
"And we now got bigger things to worry about than the smell." Lincoln dials the Omnitrix and pressed the core to become... "Frankenstrike!" He shouted sparking electricity.
"According to the PKE Meter & paragoggles, it's called the Juvenile Slor!" Isa scanned.
"If you call something this strong looking juvenile." Kevin commented while the Juvenile Slor brings up the spheres to use as eyes.
"This is the part where we do what we do! Blow it back to the cradle!" Peter said as they all either PDS slime or blast the Juvenile Slor.
"Let me try something!" Frankenstrike shoots electricity to destroy one of the eyes.
"Get him in the eyes!" Egon told.
"Hit his eyes, kids!" Winston repeated as his PDS along with the pink fire from Julie's yo-yo destroyed the second eye.
"Got it!" Isa shoots a proton stream to help Egon destroy the third eye.
"No one likes being hit in the eye! Not even this guy!" Kevin helps Kai do the same thing with the last eye. "Can't see any more now, can you?" He mocked when the Juvenile Slor released a pulse of energy before breaking off the shackle on the head, revealing its face.
"You spoke too soon, Kevin!" Isa scowled at Kevin when the Juvenile Slor started to shoot black slime from its mouth.
"It's got to be vulnerable somewhere!" Winston said as everyone minus Frankenstrike & Julie shoot PDS or Proton Streams.
"Statistically speaking, that's not entirely accurate." Egon calculated.
"Statistically speaking, we better hope it is!" Winston commented.
"How do we stop this thing?" Julie asked manifesting a pink shield to protect everyone.
"Okay! Fair enough! What about that inaccessible anterior nodule?" Egon points to the glow on the Slor's head.
"That glowy thing on its head? That is its head, isn't it?" Winston asked while Isa shoots Meson Colliders.
"I'm not sure that matters! How can we get to it?" Egon pondered.
"Hey! Lincoln! Run around and look big and delicious, will ya?" Winston volunteered.
"I can do more than that, Professor Winston!" Frankenstrike uses his orange electricity & lightning to shock the Juvenile Slor, to lure it into clamping its jaws on the floor.
"There it is! Concentrate your fire at that node!" Egon instructed for Kai to set his Proto-Tool to the sight function, like a sniper rifle.
"Easy does it!" Kai shoots some Meson Colliders of his own at the glow.
"I got an idea!" Julie manifested pink versions of familiar looking carrots to fly down on the Juvenile Slor and explode on the glow in contact. "Remind me to thank Jumpy for teaching me that!" She remembers Jumpy Ghostface being known for throwing carrot grenades.
"Hit it right there! It doesn't like that at all!" Winston called out while the Juvenile Slor got up.
"Heads up!" Kevin shoots down one of the eyes again.
"Hey scaley! I'm over here!" Frankenstrike gets the Juvenile Slor's attention to while running to the right. "Let's see how black slime does for your bad breath!" He mocked dodging its jaws which clamped to the floor again.
"Got 'em!" Isa fires her Meson Collider at the glowing part followed by another one of the eyes.
"Thanks Isa!" Frankenstrike thanked before having his coils shoot energy at the Juvenile Slor in the face, before it got back up again.
"He's taking the bait! Why are you shooting everything BUT the glowy thing on its head?!" Winston questioned.
"Just luring him! One more should do it!" Frankenstrike figured charging up the orange electricity in his hands.
"Wait, you might need an extra charge!" Julie manifests a pink cloud that shoots pink lightning to charge the Transylian up. "It's on the house!" She winked when they both dodged the Slor, getting its clamped jaws stuck again.
"Thanks Julie! Now to put a shock to this guy's system!" Frankenstrike jumps up before landing while delivering a powerful electrical punch to the glow on the head, which electrocutes the Juvenile Slor. "And back down to the slime you go!" He gets to the second floor everyone else is on safely while the Juvenile Slor sank into the black slime and got possibly destroyed.
"And that's all she wrote." Peter responded.
"That's the last node guardian!" Julie declared.
"Yes!" The other Omnitrix Team members fists pumped.
"All the nodes are closed. The ghosts are trapped in the Mandala." Egon listed.
"Right where they belong. Our boy Ivo Shandor didn't factor in that he was messin' with the Omnitrix Team & the Ghostbusters! Ha, Ha, HA!" Winston laughed.
"Yeah. Peck made the same mistake. We're gonna have a long talk with him." Peter said.
"Don't forget that Peter's girlfriend is a Shandor." Egon reminded.
"This is gonna surprise Ilyssa that's for sure." Kevin added.
"I'm gonna have a... a very long talk with her." Peter commented while everything was shaking.
"You guys need to get down to the shore, and fast! I don't know how much longer I can hold her! And the rest of the Omnitrix Team can't risk getting their jet close enough-the whole island's sinking!" Ray alerted from the walkie talkies.
"Ray, you and the other kids keep the motor & their jet engine running! We are coming at you fast!" Winston told.
"Wait! I have a better idea!" Frankenstrike pressed the Omnitrix to switch into the alien he was hoping for. "Fire-Blaze! Hold on, tight!" He quickly grabs everyone else at flies out through the walls.
"Gotta love the dragon alien! Especially since he has head bashing strength & head endurance of a Rumblehorn! And the fire power of the dragons that the Dragon Riders met!" Julie watches Fire-Blaze releasing gas from his mouth at the last wall that leads the way out before sparking it up.
A second later outside, the rest of the Omnitrix Team & Ray were waiting in Rust Bucket 3 & Ecto-8. That's when in an explosion from the castle, Fire-Heart burst out of the wall.
"Outside, here we are!" Fire-Blaze gently dropped the Ghostbusters in Echo-8. "Ronnie, Chase, one of you open the cargo door! Now!" He flew next to Rust Bucket 3.
"Got it!" Chase opens the cargo door while it was in midair, long enough for the Dragon alien to put Julie, Kevin, Kai & Isa inside. "They're in!" He told before closing the cargo door, so nothing or no one flies out.
"Good! Go! Go! Drive!" Fire-Blaze leads both vehicles away from Shandor Island completely right before the whole thing sank to the bottom of the Hudson River.
"Way to go, Linky! You saved us!" Julie responded.
"How was it!? Was it cool!? What did it look like!? Did you get any samples?! Did it have multiple eyes!?" Ray asked a barrage of questions making the other Ghostbusters scowl at him.
"SHUT UP!" Egon told.
"Come on! We need to get back to the firehouse!" Fire-Blaze said as they head back to shore.
Once they all got back to the firehouse, the entire Omnitrix Team & Ghostbusters found the inside of the place entirely wrecked and a total mess. That's when Janine got up and noticed.
"Woah! What happened in here?!" Ronnie Anne looks around in shock.
"Did something blow up while we were gone?" Rex asked.
"Oh, thank goodness you're all here!" Janine gets their attention.
"What's going on, Janine? Where's Ilyssa?" Ray asked.
"She's gone! They took her! One minute, everything was fine, the next it was chaos! Ghost flying everywhere!" Janine started to explain.
"Janine, slow down! Start from the beginning!" Egon told.
"I still can't believe that Ilyssa is a descendant of Ivo Shandor's family this whole time!" Kiera spoke.
"Neither can we." Chase scratched his head.
"You think it has something to do with this?" Jazz asked.
"Uh, excuse me, Janine. Please don't start from the entire beginning, but rather when everything when haywire as they call it." Kai corrected Janine.
"Okay, okay. Somebody jumped me from behind. And before I passed out, I heard Ilyssa struggling and yelling 'No!'. And the last thing I remember was the screams of the dead and angry echoing in my brain!" Janine explained.
"So, either, there was a mass escape from Rykers..." Peter started.
"Or someone shut down our containment grid. Again." Egon finished.
"Again?!" Ray repeated.
"Just like Peck threatened to do!" Winston suspected.
"It's funny. I always knew that Peck was a pencil-necked, bureaucratic jerk. But I never pegged him as an evil occultist." Peter said.
"My best guess is that Peck must've took Ilyssa after shutting down the containment grid." Lincoln guessed.
"But where did he take her?" Ray asked.
"And where are all the ghosts? 'Cause no offense, but if all the ghosts we've ever caught just escaped, I'm clocking out." Winston added.
"Especially the ones that have something to do with Shandor's cult." Catalina remembers the Librarian Ghost/aka the Gray Lady.
"Or even the ones from the Civil War exhibit from the Musuem of Natural History." Chase added.
"Yeah, they would awfully be mad at us." Ray agreed.
"Exactly. It's generally a bad idea for the guards to hang out in the cell blocks just after a prison break." Winston pointed out when the TV turned on, showing the news.
"This just in: As authorities have just now to continue to supervise the 4th of July evacuation of Manhattan, increasingly powerful tremors are rocking Central Park. The question is: where are the Omnitrix Team & the Ghostbusters?" The news reporter asked.
"Tell you what, kids...Kind of a nice day. Why don't we go to Central Park? Could round up some ghosts, save the girl...get back in time for a nap?" Peter asked while yawning a bit.
"I say let's do it!" Julie accepted.
"Okay! The Omnitrix Team & the Ghostbusters ride again!" Ray agreed.
Several minutes later, the Omnitrix Team & Ghostbusters arrived at Central Park in the Rust Bucket 3 and Ectomobile. However, that's when they saw a cemetery followed by some kind of tower rise from the ground as it shot a beam of light in the sky while draws all of the ghosts into it.
"Any guesses on where we'll find Peck and Ilyssa?" Egon asked as the Omnitrix Team approached the fence.
"The Ectomobile can get through as long as the gate is locked." Kai said as they went over it.
"Right. We'll get you guys in once we get the gate open!" Julie promised as they searched around the cemetery.
"Isa, if I were planning on taking you out on a date to Central Park or explore it with my sister, I would not want it to be a cemetery that appears out of nowhere." Catalina looks at Isa.
"Trust me and her on this one, sis! We agree with you!" Kiera agreed.
"Well, to think we're used to this kind of stuff by now." Isa nodded.
"I don't get it. We shut down the mandala. How can all of this be still happening?" Winston questioned from Isa's walkie talkie.
"In the Gozerian Codex, it's written that a blood sacrifice and a tremendous amount of spiritual energy are needed to generate the Supreme Destructor Form." Ray explained.
"A destructor form again?" Winston asked.
"Peck probably didn't draw sufficient energy from the mandala before we shut it down. He found an alternate source in our containment unit." Egon figured.
"The energy of the escaped ghosts from our grid might be enough to produce a cross-dimensional event in itself." Ray added.
"Yes, and with Ilyssa here, I'm sure her Shandor ancestors aren't far behind." Egon finished.
"That's very bad." Isa sensed armed with her proton pack.
"Definitely remind me to punch Peck when this is over." Kevin responded.
"After we get the Ghostbusters inside. After we deal with what's in our way." Julie manifested her version of the pack for everyone else, including herself & Lincoln. "In case your Omnitrix times out." She told Lincoln as they headed through the cemetery until they reach the gate control.
"I think I'd figured out how this works by watching you guys closely." Lincoln uses the capture stream to pull down the lever, which opens the gate so the Ghostbusters can get the Ectomobile in.
"I'll go with the Omnitrix Team. Nobody should wander alone in this place. We'll meet you guys further on." Ray decided going over the fence to the Omnitrix Team.
"Thanks Ray! Come on!" Jazz thanked as they continue through the cemetery while also destroying zombies & walking gravestones from the black slime and trapping some ghosts.
"We need a way to even the odds." Isa said.
"Well, besides Big Chill, there's one other alien in the Omnitrix I know with ghost abilities. And he was one of my original ones." Lincoln gets their attention.
"Are you sure about that, Lincoln?" Ronnie Anne questioned.
"You've always been not wanting to turn into him after our past tangles with Z'Skayr." Chase reminded.
"I know. But now is not the time to be scared. The worst has already happened. And all of Manhattan is counting on us." Lincoln pointed out.
"So, you're ready to use him again. Only this time, you could be in control." Julie figured.
"There's only one way to find out. I'm ready! Question is, are you ready?" Lincoln asked. "You with me?"
"Yeah/Sure little buddy/No problemo/We're in/Me too/I'm ready/Absolutely/Can't leave me out/Okay, I'm in!" The rest of the Omnitrix Team accepted.
"That's what I'd like to hear! Like I said, it's all about teamwork! Me and the other Ghostbusters are with ya, kid! And as L-10, you know that!" Ray agreed.
"Omnitrix Team, Assemble! It's Hero Time!" Lincoln declared as they all continue their way through the cemetery to get to the tower.

But together, the Omnitrix Team & the Ghostbusters are gonna stop this threat once and for all! My special thanks to the KwingsLetsPlay & Ink Tank YouTube channels for inspiration. And I also got some inspiration on the Fire-Heart escape moment from DreamWorks' Shrek, since Fire-Blaze is technically a dragon and Shandor Island did have a castle.
