"Whoa, my throat is sore, but I can't tell dad!" Sneaker said softly.
"But your throat really hurts, Sneaker!" Jett her pet turtle said.
It was a typical morning, and Sneaker had just woken up with her throat hurting, deciding to keep it to herself since thieves never asked for help, hearing her dad call her for breakfast, going onto the kitchen but Nadya noticed that something was off with the little thief seeing her sit down at the table.
"You alright, sweetie fly?" Constantine asked, sensing something was wrong.
"I'm good dad, don't worry, we're thieves, remember?" Sneaker replied.
Her throat really hurt, after saying that, but trying to hide it and not doing a great job, making Constantine frown at her seeing Nadya agree hearing Sneaker cough.
"Aww, somebody had a sore throat, but you should stay home, alright?" Cobstantine said.
Sneaker opened her mouth to protest but nothing came out, which bothered her,covering her mouth with her webbed hands in fright, making Constantine nervous, remembering when this had happened, when Deadly had tested his voice machine but this was different, feeling her throat was really sore, making him and Nadya exchange a look.
Later after being at the doctor, Sneaker wad at the studio, but feeling sad because she liked talking to her cousins and hated having to rest her voice, seeing Jareth stunned, thinking his dad's machine had did it again, seeing Sneaker shake her head writing on paper, seeing him read it.
"Aww, well it's gonna be alright, plus after taking medicine and resting, I'm sure your vouce will come back." Yoko assured her.
"I agree, as it's not the same, without you talking." Sora said, seeing Sneaker coughing of sorts, making them get it.
"HerbDad was like this before, from what I remember, one day he woke up and it was like he lost his voice but he got it back, after a few days." Kermit told them making them impressed, hoping that Sneaker's voice would return in a few days.
Constantine nodded because he'd been listening to that, but hoped his little thief was alright, because he cared about her a lot but was seeing his little thief sketching and doing art stuff to cheer herself up making him get it.
"We should eave her be, as she's bummed out." Zeus told them.
Jareth was going to make her tea with honey, as that might help Sneaker's throat and Kermit was helping the dragon boy which he didn't mind because he cared about Sneaker since a lot of kids wrote her off, as the bad kid and not inviting her to sleepovers or birthday parties because of this, but deep down there was a good little frog inside.
"Yep, plus she's just a kid, like you and your cousins." Kermit told him.
"Yep, and she's funny, brave and smart, but it's weird she's not talking." Jareth told him.
He saw Sneaker curious, but drinking up, savouring the honey coughing making Jareth grin seeing her write on the paper, showing him making his blue scaled cheeks go pink seeing Kermit chuckle at this.
