Attention readers: This chapter is a unique telling of what happens after the conclusion of the visual novel game Major/Minor's True Ending where the characters get to interact with others from different universes. This will be canon to my stories but absolutely not canon to the actual game itself. Remember most of my stories are fan fiction. This and future story content featuring characters from the game is made for a derivative non commercial purpose. I say this knowing that most characters from the game are personal and important characters to multiple members of the furry fandom who contributed to the game. I do not own any characters from that game or for that matter, the vast majority of characters or locations that appear in my stories. Credit to the respective creators to all of them, something I should have typed many times before. I suggest you look up the game on Steam to learn the summary of the plot. I would have written it myself and I started to but it started to become very difficult. So otherwise, you'll get to learn part of what went down through the interactions of various characters. Our world becomes a less safe place every single second so having stories like this can definitely help with coping and taking some time off from worrying(not to mention getting empowerment). If we stay afraid and complicit, the planet is doomed. But now let's go to a timeline where things can actually get better thanks to a bunch of strong individuals who protect others and cross time and space.

For the past week, I've been particularly concerned about how messed up the world I come from is. Even if my friends and I depart from here in Miitopia to solve the issue, we'll end up creating another timeline while the one I live in remains fucked. Miitopia isn't exactly the safest place either, tensions have been rising for a long time between people and groups, not to mention governments. Now I will talk about one of the things I do to ensure a lot of our allies stay on our side and even change their views to reflect our views based on true care and stuff like that. I go to the Elven Forest in the Realm Of The Fey every few months to learn some skills train with the Fab Fairies. They protect it from many enemies such as the monsters with stolen mii faces on them. The monsters may have settled down and are far less likely to have the faces of miis on them but some miis and a few monsters still cause lots of trouble. I'm there to get stronger, I did after all lose all of my powers so I've wanted to get a ranged weapon for some time. The Fab Fairies Grace, Violet, and Akiza are experts in magical bow based combat, they can even get enemies to start dancing with their arrows! It's lots of walking with the 3 but they truly make me and others welcome in the forest and the village. It's a beautiful and most colorful environment with unique plants and quirky sites like giant mushrooms. Interestingly, inhabitants of the Realm Of The Fey often follow a spiritual/nature based religion. It's very peaceful and no one forces that religion on anybody else.

They don't care about money that much nor power, it's not about preaching the word of some god even if it disrupts lives and the rights of minorities. It's about being one with nature. When I go to train with the Fab Fairies, I stay for a week and work on getting skilled enough to switch between sword and bow easily among other things like vine grabbing. My preference is to fight with a sword so I haven't used any bows on missions yet. Add to that I'm a novice when it comes to using bows even with my artist's eye/attention to detail. This time was no different than the previous times, they asked me to spend one last night in the village. I accepted, fell asleep, and woke up. But something's been bugging me since The Shadow was split up. It's gotten worse with enemies like Yappa Yappa showing up and the words Abstractoa said to me. Existence is becoming more dangerous by the day. It's not just on the Earth I call home, no no, it's broader and even worse. Sure, the new enemy isn't a time traveler or successful conquerer of universes but it's like the end is near and not in a good way. We need to start more actively recruiting new members to BRAINS. I fear the deaths of innocents are going to skyrocket and stack up. There is one universe I'd like to visit where we could get some very powerful allies. As I start thinking of it more, I stop to say goodbye to the elves such as the guard of the village Evan plus the Fab Fairies. After that, I teleport back to the Miitopia BRAINS base and enjoy some large breadsticks for breakfast with the help of the quantum microwave. It seems someone got them from a local restaurant in Galados Isle last night judging by how fresh they still are. Very good, so soft and buttery that my worries just fade away for a while. I finish up by drinking a cup of homemade fruit punch Pirate Blaster makes now for some reason.

As I get up and clean up where I was sitting in our cafeteria, Julia greets me with a wave and smile: "Oh hey Adam! Good to see you! How was the Elven Forest?" "It was lots of fun! I'm getting better with bows every day now and this time, they really helped out! The Fab Fairies have lots of responsibility protecting the forest, I wish we could hang out with them more. At least we know they aren't just BRAINS members, they fight for the same things we do. I watched them knock a greedy businessman unconscious using arrows tipped with sleeping gas 2 days ago. It was really funny especially when that businessman woke up in Karakaton." "Things slowed down again around here. Finally, I could devote lots of time to my magic practice! Awesome!" "That's great to hear, Julia. Now then, I must get going. I have a wolf and then a scientist to speak to. The unique era in which we exist is not as pleasant or peaceful as we assumed it would partially be after all the villains we've helped take down. You'll hear more later, I'm sure of it! Especially since Fluffy gets to plan mission teams this week! You know how he is. Very energetic and yet so accident prone and chatty!" The mage nods I put my trash in one of the things that makes it not go to waste before knocking on the door of Blaze's room. Sure, most of us have houses in Galados Isle but a lot of us aren't taking any chances with the worsening bigotry. It's a real drag what they're saying about people who performatively cross dress and don't even get me started on what they say about people like me who aren't romantically or sexually into the opposite sex. I use my house as a diversion tactic most days and nights anyway so I don't need to go there often. Blaze opens to the door so fast I'm almost sent flying 50 meters: "Adam! You're back! How was the trip?"

I could tell just by looking at them that they're trying to hide concern: "It was very fun and insightful but I know that you're trying to hide your worry. Blaze, this is so unlike you. What's going on?" "Kohnanix is getting more dangerous." "So the bigots and authoritarians are tightening their restrictions on people who aren't them just like here and on Earth. Great. You must be thinking about how dangerous this era is then. We are so alike after all." Blaze solemnly nods: "We should have more allies. Who knows what the United Mining Company will try next. And Yappa Yappa sort of scares me." "I think basically the same thing. I know Fluffy is in charge of organizing teams even though we of course all vote on them or use other means to show approval or disapproval. But we need to see Dominic first. Are you also thinking of planning an adventure to a version of the Major/Minor universe?" "Yeah." "If things go right, we could have a lot of fun there today!" With that, the 2 of us make it to Dominic's laboratory where he should be right now. I'm so glad his sleep has been a lot better as of late. It doesn't take long to get there. The hum of machines is combined with fast paced typing. The scientist turns from his quantum computer to greet us: "Oh hey you 2! It's been a little bit, hasn't it? I'm just working on the Android project just in case one of us dies and can't be brought back shortly after their death. Visiting The Ray Of Hope Earth timeline was a really good idea of yours, Adam! Besides that, what can I do for you? I slept great last night so I'm ready for anything." I reply with a tone and look of surprise at his wording: "Wow Dominic, it must have been amazing if you're talking like that! We sort of have a shared concern. You see, now that we've learned that we're in an era of climate crises throughout all that exists alongside the loud and cruel bigotry going on, it's gotten scarier to live."

Blaze continues: "When we aren't looking for number cards or solving problems, we need to go out there and recruit some new members to BRAINS. I don't even want to bark right now, I'm taking this so seriously! We know we've strived to only go out there and visit other universes and the like when problems arose but that's just not enough anymore." "I don't need an AI to know that you are implying something here. I agree with you completely. We need to and it sounds like you both have a destination in mind for where to go first to do this. I'll contact Fluffy after you explain." And so we explain the existence of the Major/Minor universe. It took quite a bit of time but we did it. After that, Dominic kept his word and told Fluffy an overview of that over the intercom network in the base. A few minutes later, we are with him in the meeting room where we set off to save the Pound Puppies version of Earth from chaos worse than what's going on on my Earth over 2 weeks back. Bray is also joining us. Fluffy for once has a serious look plastered all over his face: "It looks like the others have agreed to y'all going to that universe together. This'll be something. I don't have much to say, I just hope you stay safe. Thanks for finding the correct coordinates, Dominic. I'm not as scientifically well versed as you so there's only so much I can do this week with the role I currently play. Hopefully my hair doesn't catch on fire while I'm in here!" Blaze and I have been antsy while waiting to get going.

With Fluffy done talking, we say goodbye and the 4 of us teleport to a very specific location in the Major/Minor universe. I quietly breathe a sigh of relief. It looks like we got to that big ship that's the last major setting introduced in this universe via the game. And we got there just in time to watch as the chosen savior says to the one called Reiyo that he wants to get his friends back together. The hyena with a color palette of brown and gray for the most part along with the black/gray clothing with a red scarf-like accessory says some things I've heard before and adds: "Are you ready to start now, Blaze?" The very being we came here to seek out help from replies: "I think so. I can't wait to see Rook and the others again! It hurt to have to leave Konrad the others hanging." Before Reiyo can contact Acheron, the 4 of us show ourselves. I do the talking: "Hello there, it's nice to finally meet you both. I know we are very out of place but you must hear us out." "Do you know these people, Blaze? I've never seen them even when I lived in The Ark." Blaze WWolf/Exodus, child of the Exodus project shakes his head no. I speak again: "This is going to be fun. We're from 3 different universes and we've traveled through both time and space many times." "How is that possible? There's only one Earth, one universe!" "Dominic, could you explain? I can't think of what to say because being here and seeing these two is just so exciting."

Dominic gives me a nod: "I think I speak for everyone who has ever even dared think of how to travel a universe. We've all thought there was only one universe at some point. In reality, there are so many universes that it's impossible to get a correct count on them through any technology we know of. The number is so great it's basically infinite. You're Reiyo, right? It's nice to meet you. I'm Dr. Dominic Duns, a scientist from the world of Miitopia. The other one who talked is Adam, the wolf is Blaze, and the sage is Bray." Exodus/Blaze WWolf gasps in shock: "Someone else named Blaze?" "Should have seen that coming. I'll explain that in a second. Please continue to lend me your ears. We have the technology to cross time and space. From what Adam and our Blaze has told me, it seems a friend of yours has power over time. Thus you already know time can be defied. I think Bray wants to continue to explain it all from here." He nods to Bray who then says: "I shall do so. Your universe is what we call an isolated universe. In one, it's really hard to enter or leave, the prevailing theory is that there's only one universe, and problems that occur in it don't often spread to other universes. We're lucky we found this version of this universe. You Blaze WWolf aka Exodus just so happen to be the counterpart to Adam and Blaze in this universe. It's confusing but I believe Dominic can finish it from here best." "You're correct! I could use a nap after this adventure, I guess not doing much can sometimes do that to you as well. Lemme say what a counterpart is before we waste time with questions. In this context, a counterpart is someone from a different universe who has a very similar if not the same soul as someone from another universe, We all have countless counterparts, it's a whole mess but not that important right now. We'll explain more later as we want to help you find your friends and check for any threats that somehow got here from another universe or timeline."

It takes some time for Reiyo and Exodus to process the information, we help by ironically answering their questions before Reiyo says: "I haven't been this confused in millions of years. But now it is time to get the gang back together. Blaze, who do you want to see first? You had the destiny so it should be up to you. I am no longer the guardian of The Ark, my destiny is done. Remember that we can't trust these 4 yet as well." "I want to start with Velasquez. He'll understand most easily." Then, Acheron appears and freezes time, the fox with blue hair, yellow eyes, a scar, black nose and eyes, and orange and white fur is standing rigidly in a prepared stance, ready to protect. Blaze WWolf widens his eyes knowing that Acheron after the timeline was altered became the CEO of his family's company instead of ruling over The Ark: "Acheron? But wasn't your memory of what happened before erased?" Acheron smiles: "Not even time can keep us apart, Blaze. You can see the future of the universe with your power and yet you ask. I disappeared from Earth one night and woke up in The Ark, my memory of what we went through together came back. I will always protect you and everyone else. With Nagi and Nami gone, Earth and Terra are safe. No need for introductions to the 4 who appeared here. I saw everything. Let's get out of here." Reiyo agrees: "If we stay here in suspended time for too long, we will be stuck erased from existence."

Acheron takes all of us to The Ark. I'm in awe, it's even more colorful and beautiful than it is in the game: "What beauty. The colors go so well together. This is one of the few safe places throughout many universes that are this safe." Reiyo again agrees but says: "I'm surprised to be back here. But we shouldn't stay around too long. We need to see Velasquez not just because he'll best understand but I and Blaze are 2 of his children, his own creations." With that settled, our Kohnanixian friend Blaze blurts out: "My Quantum Leap is out of juice! Dominic, how much energy did it take to get here from Miitopia anyway?" "Damn it! I was worried about this! Let's see.. The tech has a maximum storage capacity which is maintained as much as possible. Enough to go from Miitopia to Twisted Land and back 500 times without a single charge. That means we just used so much energy that it would take several years for a planetary society to use just as much. It takes 3 days to charge them from 0 with the chargers I invented for them! Well then, I guess we're going to be here a little while no matter what we do." Exodus has a pensive look: "But we can't even trust you yet. How can we know you aren't lying about what you're saying?" I reply: "It's difficult to prove intentions. I guess we stay here until we prove ourselves. After the trouble you had between siding with Righty or siding with Konrad and Endymion, it's no wonder you're skeptical. We should prove that we're from different universes first. Let me start! Duel disk go! This isn't something you can find in this universe!" Acheron and Reiyo confirm they don't even know what it is or does while in complete shock. After that, Dominic does so next: "How should I proceed with this? Hmm. I know! Activate sphere field!"

He gets out a cube and toss it up. The cube expands into a large hollow three dimensional circle made up by rectangles: "To add to that, I use my own duel disk to play the field spell Roots Of My Heart: Miitopia!" A temporary environment that looks just like Greenhorne in Miitopia surrounds us. Bray twirls her staff and uses the field spell with her magic to play out several important scenes from Miitopia's modern history: "The world of Miitopia is a world of wonder and danger. It's been attacked by evil forces who sought power several times. One even harvested from the suffering and negativity of others through the energy that was released. If there was a Miitopia in this universe, my magic would have drawn me into it by now." To strengthen our evidence, we all take out personal identification that shows things like where we reside and membership in BRAINS. Exodus reacts: "I think I can trust you all. Acheron, please take us to see Velasquez. No more delays." We put away all our stuff and are then off to Terra's royal castle. Now you'll get to hear how Exodus saved the worlds of this universe because now Reiyo has to explain it to Velasquez who is the king of Terra. But getting in civilly won't be easy. The castle is guarded and the memory of Exodus/Blaze WWolf is nearly gone in the minds of those who trusted him with their lives. Dominic and Exodus appear to come to the same conclusion.

Exodus beats Dominic to comment on that: "We can't just walk in there. I doubt Velasquez remembers me, Reiyo, or Acheron." Blaze adds: "Sneaking in there isn't very nice so I say no to that idea! What if we all raised our power levels? Velasquez will just have to sense our combined power. We might need to allow ourselves to be detained by the guards. I hate authority but in this case, not reuniting you with your friends may one day jeopardize your universe. We have made some enemies who could come here and destroy everything.. Wait, nevermind. The doors are open. How could we miss that?" I face palm: "I have failed as an artist today." Endymion, a black, white, and gray feline with magenta eyes, red accents, and a blue assassin's outfit speaks from behind us: "Hello there strangers. You want to see the king? You sound suspicious so I won't let you just walk in." Reiyo replies: "This is a major setback. Must we earn your trust?" Dominic states: "That would be the most logical thing to do. But we're in a hurry. If we managed to get to this universe, who knows who else may have gotten here too." Dominic and Bray raise their power levels by unleashing some of their powers. At the same time, Blaze starts running really fast in place Exodus pulls out his sword. I remark: "This is a really strange way of interacting with one who doesn't trust us and isn't something we would do if it wasn't vital." Endymion is left speechless: "What power?! Just who are you?" That is when to the shock of us all, Velasquez actually comes out of his castle for something other than a meeting with other worlds. Endymion immediately bows to him.

Velasquez smiles: "Something about 2 of you feels.. familiar. I sense no malice coming from any of you. And yet you have powers that are far beyond the comprehension of most." Endymion is so confused: "Your majesty, if I may ask: what are you doing out here?" "That is so unlike you, Endymion. To answer your question, I detected several large amounts of energy coming from 6 of the 7 strangers. Tell me everything. We'll go to the throne room." And so with that, we all follow Velasquez to the throne room through the castle doors and up a grand staircase. Exodus is shocked at the fact that there's no one in there. But it is Reiyo who explains it all: "Father, do you remember me? You created me millions of years ago in another timeline." Well, he tries too only for Velasquez to widen his eyes: "How could I have forgotten you, Reiyo? I put all my trust in you and Blaze. You saved Terra! After millions of years, your destiny was fulfilled. But enough of that. I must explain to the 4 I still don't know of. Millions of years ago, I was a scientist in the Federation, a union of worlds across a galaxy. We were going through an energy crisis at that time. They gave us what we called world stones to find new sources of energy by creating our own planes of existence. I created this world Terra as my own safe place and also created Earth. My first children were Nagi and Nami, I tasked them with finishing what I started but they were curious. I told them the truth of what they were and they turned against me, cursing Earth before destroying the Federation."

It seems Blaze and I forgot to explain that part in Miitopia to Dominic. "I found out many years later that they were harvesting energy. I created my 3rd child, Reiyo and The Ark. The Ark is a place close to Earth to be a place of observation but far enough away to not be harmed by events on the world. I chose Reiyo to oversee time from there. The curse Nami and Nagi placed on Earth corrupted it and even twisted Reiyo into what he is. 10 years ago, I began the Exodus Project. Gathering the top minds in Terra, I worked with them to find a way to create somebody with the power of a world stone. But we couldn't find one except for the way I had to hide from them. I sacrificed them in order to have enough power to create you, Blaze WWolf. Reiyo and I had noticed the energy released after someone died, he suggested we have their souls travel to Terra. Now when somebody died on Earth, they would start a new life on Terra with their memory wiped clean. We catered to their personal interests accommodated. But now with my newest child, we made sure that all power went to him even when someone died on Terra. If someone did, they would vanish completely before then."

Reiyo adds: "That's when I started growing the power inside Blaze. We went through the same events many times. 2 individuals would always die but a 3rd flipped between 2 others. We hoped we had grown it enough recently and now, Nami and Nagi have been erased. The mission succeeded. Acheron and I plunged blades containing the power Nagi and Nami had collected into Blaze. It didn't kill him but it let him choose to connect the universe and bring back everyone who was harvested." Exodus nods: "That's exactly how it went. But we should get to reuniting with our friends. After some introductions." Dominic, Blaze, Bray, Acheron, and I introduce ourselves one by one to Velasquez and Endymion. The conversations brought back Endymion's lost memories. He rushed off to find Righty to help him remember. With that done, Dominic says: "Hey, Bray and I are going to go do something else. We're going to check this universe for threats. Now that we're in this universe, travel should be easy even with not that much of a charge on our technology. Let's meet back here later or elsewhere that's good when our missions are complete." No one has any disagreement with that idea considering everything. The 2 teleport off with waves and smiles. In a few short minutes, Endymion returns with an ecstatic Righty.

Righty is a large brown bear with orange ish hair and armor who carries an axe around: "Blaze? What happened to you? I didn't even remember you until Endymion reminded me of what we went through together. So you saved Kabu and the others after all. How could I let myself forget someone as important as you?" "Don't worry about it, Righty. It was the only way to save everyone. I thought I was dead and forever forgotten. I saw the future but thought I wouldn't be a part of it." "I swear to protect you once again. I won't let myself forget you again." Velasquez enters the conversation: "I knew I could count on you to protect the savior again. Righty and Endymion, I must stay here to take care of important galactic matters. You ensure the safety of our guests as long as they are on Terra. We don't need another crisis. Both of you are perfect for the job." The members of the Assassin's Guild nod and so we all head out, saying goodbye to Velasquez as we go. Personally, he's one of the only rulers I'd trust to keep their citizens happy and free. He owns up to his mistakes and learns from them. In fact, the ruler of Terra stopped having secrets. This universe is so lucky to have someone like him. Where I'm from, authority figures are almost never truly good people. The people in power always gotta use oppress somebody. It's disgusting.

Righty turns to Exodus: "You know where to head next. We all trust you." "Yes of course. The Wayfarers Tavern. Phidget, PB, and Konrad are there. I must see them again." Wow it hits different to not be the "main character". And just like that, the cringey 4th wall defender shows up again: "Did somebody just think about the plot of existence from a reality defying perspective? I cannot allow that!" Righty and Endymion get ready to attack. But I interject: "Stay back. I can take care of this clown. Besides, you don't trust me yet. I need to earn your trust and this is one way to do it." I pull out my sword and yell at the top of my lungs at the 4th wall defender so he doesn't say anything else: "Please stop escaping! Maybe we should try reforming you next time you show up. I put you in exile in tropical islands for a reason! There's plenty to live off of there and you never stop being an annoyance. Why does it matter if someone breaks the 4th wall? Darkeye Slash!" I jump up before coming down at an angled trajectory with my sword out to do a slice-like motion. The attack defeats him immediately and I say softly while sending him away with what power my Quantum Leap band has gained from charging with solar energy: "This is why you don't mess with me." I get compliments for what I did. I take them as calmly and kindly as I can, they feel good but aren't vital to my happiness or self esteem. Wish some people would stop wanting that kind of stuff for clout. Now we are back on track to walking to the Wayfarers Tavern.

The tavern is an immigration office, bar, and place to stay. It takes hours to get there by foot or paw so that gives us all a lot of time to get to know one another and straighten out any confusion still stirring. On the way there, we ran into Sam, a red, white, and orange fox and Dusk, a horse with a pretty brown color palette and white as well. Sam immediately questions Endymion and Righty: "I thought you were guarding the castle today. Did Velasquez send you on another mission? Who are the ones with you?" Endymion explains and suddenly, Dusk and Sam are reminded of their past lives before the timeline was altered: "So Blaze did it? I can't believe it. I thought Reiyo was just saying fantasies. Blaze, you should have let me go with you when Velasquez opened his castle to the public. I could have learned so many secrets and we would have had lots of fun." "Well I could have but I wanted to end my journey with Konrad. He and Endymion worked so hard to get me there. It was only fair." "Well that's no fun. Oh well. We owe you a celebration. If Dusk and I aren't busy in the evening, we can schedule it then. Now come on Dusk, we have a lot of work to do." Dusk nods and so the two go a different direction than us. Exodus knocks on the door to the tavern. The door is opened by Phidget who yells: "Mother! PB! You have to see this!" PB and their mother come quickly. Their jaws drop at seeing us with Endymion and Righty.

The pink and white bunny with purple hair, orange right eye, and blue left eye exclaims: "Seriously, a whole bunch of guests we've never seen? Wow. And with two of Velasquez's most loyal protectors too. This is a lot to take in. Who are the rest of you?" Endymion replies: "The king wanted us to protect them as long as they're on Terra. We have a lot of explaining to do. *points at Exodus* Do you remember him?" PB shakes his head no but then, Exodus pulls out the drawing of himself, Endymion, and Kabu all together smiling, drawn by Phidget. The white squirrel with some blue and pink plus black hair has his blue eyes brighten in recognition and memory: "It's you! You promised to bring our mother back and you did! Everything has changed so much, our lives are very different!" PB remembers too: "Righty, didn't you promise Blaze a drink after he got back here? I'm going to get Konrad after we process this."

5 minutes of waiting rewards us with Konrad, Phidget, and PB very excited and ready to party: "We must party. It looks like Reiyo wasn't lying to us, Blaze. I couldn't believe what he was telling us but now, it makes sense." "I would like to party but we're missing a few. I want to see Plair, Kabu, Caylen, and Riley." "In that case, we'll wait here for all of you to return. It's busy here today anyway, we can't keep our customers waiting too long." So now we're headed to where Kabu and Plair live. But this time, Acheron offers to get us there much faster: " I'd like to get back to The Ark as soon as possible. It's now my duty to watch over the universe from there. Would it be alright if I take us all to where Kabu and Plair live right away?" Exodus replies: "That's the best decision. My legs are tired." So Acheron nods, stops time, and teleports us all there. After that, he unfreezes time and Endymion gets us into their house by talking with the guards who guard it. The place is much smaller than Plair's house in the original timeline. We stand around waiting until Kabu spots us. Kabu is a very blue and white dingo or something and his eyes get as wide as saucers: "Why are Endymion and Righty here? And who are the others?" Wow, that sounds very familiar, doesn't it? Endymion and Exodus take turns explaining what's going on along with giving introductions. Kabu is even more shocked: "Father always told me to remember everything important. I have to write to Caylen as soon as possible."

Before anyone can ask where Plair is, Plair enters the room we are in with a smile at Kabu. Plair is a black, orange, and white tiger: "So this is why Velasquez told me to come back home. I remember everything now seeing the savior with Endymion and Righty. I'm very busy today so I don't have much time to talk. Being a mayor is a huge responsibility. I'm just glad Riley didn't twist and play me again." Kabu greets Plair with the most innocent smile ever: "Father! Could we visit Caylen please?! It's been a month!" "I can't today but it looks like they could take you. Would it be alright if Kabu joins you? I'm sorry to push this on you." Exodus shakes his head in a way that shows it's fine: "That works out well actually. We're going to visit Caylen and Riley next." "Okay, good. I promise he won't get into trouble, he's very good." Plair gives us a goodbye before going elsewhere and then without even asking, Acheron gets us to where Caylen and Riley are in an instant with Kabu now a part of the party. At this point, we're all just like "please do it already dude". Dominic would enjoy that direct jump into action on a day he really needed The nap. Anyway, Kabu tackle hugs a shocked Caylen who just got out of his house.

The pink haired blue eyed and collared orange and white fox sure got one hell of a surprise: "Kabu! You're here! I'm glad you made it here safe! Where's Plair?" That's when Caylen notices us: "Who are they, Kabu? Did you make some new friends?" "I guess you could say that. *gestures to Exodus* But he's the one who saved me from death Terra from overpopulation." "I don't remember ever losing you. But wait, now I recall. Riley killed you! It was awful! What happened to the celebration we were going to have?" Reiyo replies: "Don't worry about that party, it's been rescheduled but the date isn't set. I've never been to one. What's it like?" "You'll like it, it's fun. You still have so much to tell me." Riley enters the picture by also getting out of a house: "Caylen? Kabu? What?! Oh wait, Plair informed me already. I can't believe I originally mainpulated him and killed Kabu. But as mayor now, I vow to never use anyone like that ever again." After doing some chatting, we invite Kabu, Riley, and Caylen to join us. Riley is a gray/blue dog with an interesting vibe going on. He declines, also being too busy as of right now. Acheron takes the rest of us to the Wayfarers Tavern where the others are waiting for us. Konrad and Exodus spend a lot of time together. After all, the blue, red, and gray wolf was brought along to Velasquez's castle the day Exodus's destiny was fulfilled. Before seeing the king, Exodus went to the ballroom with Konrad and danced with him for a little while. "May I have this dance?" is such a thing to say to somebody. Anyway, we all party pretty hard, even myself and Blaze.

When an intruder from yet another world showed up, Blaze showed them the door really quickly, let's just say that. Hard to believe how long that all took. It's late out and the adventure started in the morning or so. PB lets us all stay the night in the rooms upstairs. The party was a success especially since me and Blaze solidified our trustworthiness during it. I guess Dominic and Bray are very busy. But this was just one part of the journey. As sleep begins to overtake me, I amuse myself over the fact I'm still wearing my armor and ponder over what's going to happen next. The morning begins with alotta noise. It seems some of the others woke up before I did. I made it out of the room I shared with Blaze, Caylen, Kabu to hear lively chatter. Before heading down the stairs, I stretch my arms and let out a yawn. My body isn't very stiff at all, that was a very nice sleep in a comfy bed. Exodus approached me as soon as I made it downstairs: "Thank you for your help company yesterday. We're just waiting for everyone to wake up. We'll have breakfast part ways with the others." "Of course, I just really wanted to show that my intentions are good. I refuse to hurt somebody if it isn't necessary to save the world or whatever."

We end up talking for a while and I learn that Exodus played a lot of video games before winning the contest that sent him and another named Kila(true name Eddie) to Japan to tour with Klace, a famous pop star as special fan guests. He had a lot of energy drinks trying to win the chance to go on that tour. Time passes, breakfast is enjoyed, and now it's time to move out. Goodbyes are exchanged as Blaze, myself, Exodus, Reiyo, and Acheron head to Earth or more specifically Tokyo, Japan the day of the arrival of this timeline's contest winner, the real Kila. Strategically, we agreed to get there at the exact train station Rook was scheduled to wait at. We're in luck, Rook and Kila just met up for the first time. Rook is a brown, white, and tan green eyed ferret while Kila is a blue squirrel with green eyes, a giant blue and green tail, and reddish brown hair. I convince Reiyo and Blaze to stay back with me as Acheron and Exodus approach the 2. Rook stops talking to Kila and gasps: "Acheron?! Why are you here and how? You disappeared several days ago. Singe hired a different bodyguard but your contract still stands." Acheron sighs: "It's hard to explain. Singe could explain it better than I could. He's good at that. Take Kila and go. I'll call Singe myself."

He pulls out his phone and calls Singe. The mostly peach and orange dragon with 3 horns, black hair, and some blue and white answers almost immediately: "Hello Singe, yes I'm alive. Keep the other bodyguard." "I know this is confusing but I must tell you everything." He proceeds to explain everything in pretty good detail. This triggers Singe's lost memories from the sounds of it. Acheron hangs up with a rare happy smile on his face: "I did it. This will make everything so much easier. We'll get to meet everyone else this evening. For now, we should do whatever Exodus wants to do." Blaze, Reiyo, and I immediately approve of the idea. The savior of Terra gives it some thought: "We should check on Rook and Kila after we go see someone else. Where's Eddie? His brother is here alive which means he should be at home." Acheron responds with a confident expression: "I know where he is but I think it's best if you go there alone. We'll wait here for you." Exodus nods and Acheron sends him off. As we wait, Blaze and I tell stories of our adventures to Reiyo and Acheron. They can hardly believe what they're hearing but they know enough to believe it. "You've been through all of that? I'm impressed. You protected so many lives." "That's just the start. We just finished talking about what happened 3 and a third years back for us. The villain SDL was defeated 7 months after that." Acheron notices via his cosmic vision that Exodus and Eddie have finished talking. He brings them both to us.

Eddie introduces himself: "I'm glad to meet all of you. I'm Eddie, Kila's twin brother. Originally, when Blaze(Exodus) won the contest, my brother lost hope. You see, he's been struggling with cancer. It's been very tough on him. When Klace's contest and tour was announced, he was so excited. I bought 2 cans daily of the energy drinks trying to win a ticket to the tour for him. We drank them every day and then Blaze won. My brother died that day. He committed suicide because he lost hope. Then, I died on the 2nd day of the tour. Maxine Armstrong forced Blaze to choose between saving me and Rook. I was blown to bits. I woke in a strange place able to see through his eyes and then talk to him. Again, thank you so much Blaze for saving Kila and myself. Now he's here alive and happy. I can't resent you anymore." Exodus replies: "I would do it again if I had to. That reminds me, we need to check on Rook and Kila. I think they're at a maid cafe." "That's great! My brother always wanted to go to one of those. I hate them but as long as he's happy, it's okay."

Being an experienced multiversal traveler, I advise the others before Acheron, Reiyo, or Exodus could speak: "As someone who has been to a lot of universes, I suggest we use conventional means of travel on this planet. Look, I've had to deal with the press and the paparazzi in like 2 worlds. That was fun. Being famous was not something I wanted. But then my band mates and I did stuff that made us so infamous that people started leaving us alone. We ended up disbanding the band. But still, a group of individuals just popping out of nowhere is considered impossible here on Earth. Doing so would attract unwanted attention." Acheron nods: "That's exactly what I would have said. If the media sees I'm here after disappearing, they will have a field day. I know Fukomoto isn't doing tabloid journalism but still, it's hard to ignore them." That's when we devise one hell of a formation strategy. Acheron is in the center with all of us surrounding him. Kila and Exodus are to the sides of him while Reiyo takes the rear and Blaze and I lead. We make it look pretty natural too. I hope Bray and Dominic are doing okay in this universe on their own. I wonder what they're up to right now. In a few minutes, we found a taxi and somehow managed to all squeeze into it. Acheron pays the driver a large tip to be quiet about him being back and to make up for the fact we are basically cramming nearly the whole taxi. About 15 uncomfortable minutes pass and we arrive at the Cafe Chat maid cafe where Rook is standing outside, alone.

He spots us and tries to hide shock but fails: "Blaze! There you are! I can't believe it's you. I forgot everything about what happened. But now that I remember, I'm going to do my best to open up to others." Just then, crying can be heard from inside the cafe. After stretching my now stiff back, I tap Exodus on the shoulder: "I think you know what to do. Just go in there and talk to Eclair. She's the maid of the cafe and is just now remembering the traumatic past she had with Rook. After all, he used to duet with her as a maid couple with her for years. It's a shame he lost his mentor, causing him to quit Cafe Chat." I stayed outside with the others to help explain things much thoroughly to Rook about all of the stuff that's happened. I honestly feel out of place. Blaze and I really didn't help Exodus find his friends, did we? We're just kinda here hanging out. Damn it it feels so weird to be on this kind of mission without any place at risk, we've had some intruders but they were easy to take care of. It's like being here is absolutely pointless except for how fun it is. Then I get a message from Dominic: "Adam. An enemy is coming your way. We're out of energy right now so we can't help you right away. Tell the others. Do something to make innocents leave the area." I text back: "Shit. I got it."

I show the others the message: "We have a major problem. Leave the enemy to me. If I can't beat them, I'll need your help." It takes a little convincing but they eventually agree with that statement. I put on my Swiftdrawer costume and reveal my "superhero identity" in the process: "My duel disk is picking up something. But it's not a number. It appears to be an energy native to this universe. Oh good, at least it's not something that's directly mine and Blaze's fault." Some alien in a spacecraft levitates down from the ship and speaks, causing onlookers to run in fear: "I hear the savior of Terra is here. The one who connected the whole universe. I will destroy them, that's all I want!" I motioned the others to stay back and move forward towards the enemy: "Listen here bucko, you ain't getting to him unless you can get through me! I'm Swiftdrawer, an artist who brings about peace, liberation, horror movie terror, and hope to the cosmos." As I pull out my sword disguised as a paintbrush, they cackle: "Is that so? You sound strong and confident. Let's see how long you can maintain that!" "I'd say long enough to wear you down a crap ton. One must not underestimate an opponent, it is best to overestimate them. You'll be disappointed but you won't be dead at least." We clash head on for several minutes evenly matched, his swordgun against my sword. My Paintstroke(Darkeye) Slash is nothing for this purple alien dude. That's when I say: "Okay then so you're quite strong yourself. I'd be smarter and show my cards slowly over time if it weren't for the fact we're in the middle of a very busy city. I want to try to end this quickly." "I like that idea. I want to get rid of you as soon as possible! Interstellar Incineration!"

I counter with a serious glare as I call out: "Let me be clear here. I won't let you win without giving an awesome ass counter! Haaaaaaaa! Extremely Risky Paint Mix Slash!" I concentrate the attack on myself to allow the heat and wind to build up around me like an aura of some kind. The flames give off the illusion my hair has changed color like what happens when Saiyans transform. And then I hold out my disguised sword as I lunge at the enemy with all that I have. The flames around me intensify as do the winds. My foe whose name is Baghlix continues using energy against me: "I don't care! I'm going to win and then I'll kill the savior!" We clash and my attack quickly overpowers him, sending him backwards into a garbage can. Without another world, I send his ship to a junkyard planet before sending him off to a different deserted island from the ones I have to keep sending 4th wall defender dude to. "And that's how you beat an enemy. Baghlix didn't stand a chance in the end. I find that surprising considering the hurt I was put through the last time I risked serious bodily harm and death like this. Let's get out of here as soon as we can." I duck behind a nearby tree and get out of my Swiftdrawer outfit. With that done, I return to the others. Exodus and Kila emerge from the maid cafe very happy with themselves, it seems Exodus still managed to calm Eclair down even with the ruckus that was going on. Thank goodness. Acheron seems to be weathering not being in The Ark surprisingly well considering the fact he was a little desperate to get back there yesterday. I'm glad it's all working out okay. The others gain newfound respect for myself and Exodus. Looks like Kila got the comeback style version of a maid cafe experience.

Rook says: "The hotel is not too far away. That's where everyone is. We can walk there. It's getting late so we better not take too long." The walk to the hotel is easy and we all talk about things on the way there. My arms slowly recovered from all the muscle I used in that battle, it caused quite the build up of lactic acid. Once we get there, Rook urges us to get into a hotel room near the really nice and modern lobby. In the room, everyone else is chilling, having waited for us. There's even a whole bunch of food in take out bags. Singe greets us all first: "Thank goodness you're all safe. I heard about the alien. Someone defeated him apparently. If you don't know me, I'm Singe. I manage Klace and other idols, he's my star." Quick FYI, I didn't notice all the social interactions between the others I got to the hotel with so I know I missed Kila being shocked that Eddie is here.

Singe continues: "As you all know, this tour happened once before. There were 2 winners: Blaze(Exodus) and Kila or should I say, Eddie. They, Jade, and Rook went to the nearby arcade for some fun. But then, Klace was murdered. The next day, we held a press conference while I secretly knew who was behind the murder along with the mysterious Midnight Deaths. It was Maxine Armstrong, former CEO of Armstrong, a company that produced chemical weapons. It was all part of a game to see who would get the powers of The Ark: Acheron or Max. Acheron and I worked together to bring her down. And then after midnight, history changed. The contest happened again but there was only one winner: Kila. That brings us here today. We have visitors from other universes with us too. I don't know much about them." Blaze and I introduce ourselves to the others and in return, get several personal introductions. The silver, gray, black, and teal wolf with a huge tail Shock says: "Heh nice to meet you. Before today, I would have never believed there are other realities! You both seem cool. If you're friends of Blaze WWolf, you're my friends too." Jade replies and introduces herself, she's a brownish red haired multicolored and orange eyed bird. The smile on her face is huge: "I told you so! Anyway, I'm Jade. I assist Singe and drive limos. Inumi often hangs out in the limos. I also bought that nearby arcade myself. They were about to close down for good," It's a good thing only one individual speaks at a time.

This room could get loud in seconds. Klace the famous white husky pop star with black hair that has a colorful accent speaks next: "I didn't get to experience much of what happened but congrats on what you did! You're all welcome to be part of the tour." Singe clears her throat and adds: "I forgot to mention that you're all invited to join us. But we don't want public outrage so you'll have to be backstage away from the crowds at all times. We don't need any more bad press than what we've gone through." I nod in understanding and mention that we might as well stick around on tour for a while. We're kind of stuck in this universe for over 5 more days. Turns out that solar energy is slower than the charging devices we have back in Miitopia for charging the Quantum Leap bands. Rocker shakes hands with Exodus and bows. Rocker is a white and light brown fox with yellow eyes and a bass guitar on his back. Exodus repeats the bow: "It's great to see you while alive again! Please make sure I don't die again. We've been through enough and have so much coming with the world tour. And I wrote a song about you, Blaze. Come see me tomorrow. I'm amazed that there really are many realities. Just as I thought." Exodus nods and then, Dazz a golden(very Super Saiyan like)haired yellow eyed blue-violet and white wolf speaks up: "I didn't get to know you much, Blaze. Thank you for saving Klace and the others. Yes I'm Dazz."

Finally, Inumi the adorable red, black, and white wusky and adopted brother of Klace gets excited at seeing Exodus: "Blaze! I've been so excited to see you again! I'm getting better at math and learning to dance from Dazz! My teachers said I'm doing better than ever!" Conversations start up for a little while as eating takes place before we all split off into our own rooms and such. Blaze and I got our own room for instance, obviously Singe's doing. As soon as we get in there, we find Dominic and Bray waiting for us. The scientist says: "We need to have a quick chat. I don't need a nap today. How'd the incident go earlier?" I responded with an uncharacteristic smirk on my face: "It was a little difficult but I defeated the alien and took good care of him. He won't be an issue." "Great! So did you help Exodus reunite with his friends?" "Sort of. Acheron did most of the work to be honest. It was a little awkward to not be helping much but then I got to defeat the alien. Is there anything else that needs discussion?" "Yes, just one thing. And thanks for speeding up this discussion by letting the 2 of us talk it all out, Blaze and Bray. Anyway, we just can't come back to this universe only to get stuck in it again. We've started to connect this universe to the Multiverse. Or Omniverse or whatever. Doesn't matter what it's called in the end. Thinking about that makes me tired and want to chill. The first step is to move it much closer to universes that are connected. To make it easy, we're going to move it by Kohnanix's universe."

"DOMINIC! How in Miitopia did you even get to a point where that became an option?" "Well, we have a huge amount of energy constantly being generated on a dead planet with no life on it as you know. Then there's the fact that we can draw from black holes and create a wormhole big enough to send a universe across existence to a specific spot of our choosing. After that, we'll create connection points that are always placed on the outskirts of a universe if they aren't there already. It takes a lot to do that though." "Damn. Where did you learn that?" "Dr. Bonesbane unbeknownst to you is a leading scientist in the study of how universes interact. That studying allowed him to create that device that helped cause that strange portal between Beerus's Planet and Ponyville. Anyway, after the connection points are made, the universe will start getting energy and matter from elsewhere. This will finish the connection. But as you could guess, it's a huge risk. Yappa Yappa could be sent out to capture Exodus and we don't want that." "In the morning before the tour officially starts, we need to officially ally with Exodus and his friends and allies. It's extremely important that we do." Dominic, Blaze, and Bray easily agree. The 4 of us sleep together in the room and hit the hay after washing up in the bathroom. What a day! In the morning, a beautiful glow emanates from the windows. The chirping of birds nearby wakes me up. That and my bladder.

After the 4 of us get ready, we head to the hotel lobby as Rook had briefly entered our room to tell us to be ready by 9. We'll be picked up by Jade to go to the convention center. Glad I packed a bunch of snacks in my ender chest. I opened it in my backpack discreetly. Because of that, we had a packaged breakfast. But the packaged breakfast are containers of fresh treats like fruit, yogurt, donuts, bread, cinnamon rolls, and more. Miitopia is famous for its excellent food. The Hobgoblin Donuts are among my favorites. Exodus, Kila, and Eddie join us in waiting in the lobby. We offer them some breakfast and they accept. I start to laugh: "So I finally get to once again help out. I brought all this stuff from home. One of our friends is a legendary chef who also puts on one mean cook fighting technique in battle. I've seen her turn monsters into cooked dishes as their stolen eyes widened! It's weird, I know. You'll have to visit sometime. But you do have the year of a lifetime to look forward to." As a result, we all laugh a little bit and then chat about things before getting into the limo Jade is driving once she arrives at 9. Dominic and Bray finally introduce themselves before Dominic helps Inumi with his math skills. That scientist is the definition of a brainiac I swear!

Upon our arrival to the convention center, Acheron teleports me, Exodus, Dominic, Bray, himself, Blaze, and Reiyo straight out of the limo and into the convention center lobby. The public must not know about us. We wait for Kila, Jade, and Inumi. Once they get inside, we all head upstairs near where Singe's office is located. Everyone else has been waiting so Dominic and Bray once again introduce themselves upon seeing them. Following that, I make a proposal to Exodus, Acheron, and Reiyo after pulling them aside as the scientist and sage end up talking a bunch: "Hey, let me tell you three about something we've been hush hush about. You are now well aware that we have a lot of friends from other worlds. What you don't know is that we are in a secret collective of sorts with most of them called BRAINS. I'd like to propose a formal alliance between this universe and other universes through creating a BRAINS branch for this universe. Even if you just went with the alliance part, we would supply you with all kinds of gear for when threats from other universes and times come knocking on your Earth or Terra. That and existence is in an era where we might reach the ultimate climax between good and evil within the next 10 years relative to my Earth's time with a side of climate disasters on many inhabited worlds across numerous universes."

Acheron is sold but says: "We trust Blaze to make the decision. It should be up to him, we owe him almost everything after all. Are there any other perks?" "Well let's see. Instant teleportation to almost any universe, time machines, protections from many others when needed, special access to my theme park Twisted Land, and being able to meet a diverse array of life forms. Aliens, vampires, mages, scientists, warriors, and much more. Oh and you'll have access to a great expanse of knowledge. We have experts on everything from music to graphic design to survival to martial arts. There are other perks too but those are enough to share." Exodus replies: "I'm in. It sounds interesting and would be for the best." Reiyo nods in approval and Acheron says: "I'm going to see all of Blaze's Terra friends and see if they want to join too. I will be back sooner than you think." And just like that, Acheron returns in a few minutes, telling us that literally everyone is on board, even Velasquez and PB. That's awesome, we'll help them build a secret base in Terra later. The rest of our time in the universe is wonderful. The 4 of us make multiple life long friendships. I personally bonded with Exodus, Acheron, Reiyo, Phidget, and Konrad the most. By the time we can return to Miitopia, there's a new BRAINS branch named after Terra: Terra BRAINS. The base was easy to build and so Dominic and Bray immediately went about connecting the universe to the vast network in reality. It hurt to say goodbye to the others but we had to.

We have a lot of responsibilities on our plates. One is planning the 1st ever Friendship Summit with our friends and allies. We're taking our time with it as we are all juggling it with so much else at the moment. Upon our return home, Fluffy Afro greets us and asks for a mission report right away. It took hours to talk about the whole trip but it was well worth it. I hope to see Exodus again real soon, I especially relate to him. We both had a crap ton of power on the inside and gave it up to save countless lives for one.

Outro: Wow I wasn't expecting it to be so long! Though I did consider making this a 2 part adventure. But nah. Finally, I wrote a 2nd short story for this collection and its all about a game I've just been in love with for the past week or so. Sure, not everyone likes it or its creator but that's okay. I suspect that the creator of Major/Minor has vastly improved as a person since the original publishing date of the visual novel video game. It's been over 6 years after all and just about any young person including the creator can be accurately expected to change a whole bunch in even just a few months. That's not always true but you know how it is. Anyway, that's all! I was going to write something else as the 2nd story here but then the game took over my mind. Next one will be a warm up scare ripped straight from Twisted Land before another short story where things get too dark and close to home. See ya next time!
