That's No Pokémon!

Date: June 7th, 2024

It was a normal day in Pallet Town. But there was something different from in the anime that happened. You could call it almost like a filler type event in which Satoshi(Ash), Takeshi(Brock), and Kasumi(Misty) temporarily returned to Pallet in the middle of their journey across Johto. It seemed to have little long term significance, just a fun time in which the 3 stayed with Satoshi's(screw you 4Kids, their Japanese names are more canon than the English names you gave them) mother and her Mr. Mime along with visiting Dr. Yukinari Okido(Professor Oak). But actually, there's more to it than that. A strange new Pokémon had been found sleeping while surrounded by thousands of giant eggs. Dr. Okido called them and they rushed over straight from the Johto region in order to help the Pokémon scientist study this strange new Pokémon. A Pokémon that looked far more hideous than any ever seen before. What they didn't know was that this would begin a nightmare for Pallet Town or that there were identical creatures sleeping among thousands of eggs all over the Pokémon world. But before they could go with Dr. Okido to investigate this new Pokémon, someone got to it first. Team Rocket. Musashi(Jessie). Kojirō(James). Meowth(I'm using Pokémons' English names to make it less complicated. Damn 4Kids. Always insistent on Americanizing Japanese anime characters in name.) Team Rocket were just wondering around outside of Pallet Town when they found IT. Why were they wondering around? Well.. "Meowth, are you sure it was a good idea to come back to this dump?" "Relax, Musashi. That brat Satoshi, his friends and that Pikachu are back in Pallet and I heard that that Dr. Okido has discovered a new Pokémon. We can just let that brat and his friends find that new Pokémon for us or find it first and catch Pikachu by luring them to the new Pokémon! It all depends on whether or not we can find it first! That's why we're out here in the forest looking for it!"

Some time later, they actually do manage to find the "Pokémon". Kojirō shakes nervously: "I don't think this is such a good idea! Look at the size of that thing and what's with those eggs?!" This starts bickering that causes the thing to wake up and attack them. The 3 are terrified. Musashi screams: "It's not worth it! We have to retreat! We have to run for our lives!" Meowth replies: "You're right! If we try and fight, that thing will eat us or something!" And with that, the 3 retreat somehow so fast that the nightmare loses interest. However, this would be the start of the nightmare. That was no Pokémon. Meanwhile, I go to our space station where some comrades are already on board. I happen to teleport to a room where technological computer things are done. Spectre and the other Hanoi are among those already in it. Revolver speaks: "What's the status on deleting ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, and other generative "AI" programs from various internets across the multiverse as well as generative "AI" features on products such as Adobe software?" Dr. Genome smirks: "It's going well. We're almost just about finished. Any AI that is built by exploiting people is as problematic as rouge AI even if it is not truly AI and is merely a rather primitive thing to us called a large language model. Therefore, it must be dealt with accordingly." Spectre grins: "Yes, I'm almost finished on my part of the task as well. This was rather simple to pull off. I've had no issues. The cybersecurity these websites have is nothing that we can't destroy.

Exploiting human beings by scraping their art and/or other creations to train LLMs will not be tolerated. The Hanoi will make sure they learn their lesson lest they desire to suffer more losses." Biara speaks: "Hold on a moment, there seems to be a major problem we're picking up on at this very moment." Faust nods: "Yep. I have the readings on it as well." PIXAL speaks: "Hanoi, you are no longer alone in this room." Revolver replies: "We can wait to address it for a few more minutes. After all, we can't risk retaliation by corporations, governments, hackers, or other entities. They may even find a way to break into our network and learn the existence of BRAINS which would be catastrophic." Yui speaks: "I'm going to help you with this." PAMA, Romeo, Kirito, Heathcliff, Playmaker, the Ignis, Ghost Gal, Kaito, Yuga, and others help out as well. With their combined efforts, no LLM could ever stand a chance, not even something built on as much data as ChatGPT. Once everything's settled, the Hanoi look around to see all of us who have arrived. Biara sighs: "I just looked at the problem. Thousands of colonies of xenomorphs have been detected in the Pokémon world with at least one colony in every settlement, even tiny villages. They number even greater than the xenomorphs who invaded this space station." Darkness grins with excitement. Kazuma snaps: "Darkness, stop being like that!" "Oh Kazuma! But I've always wanted to have something latch-" "That's enough, be quiet already!" I sigh: "Xenomorphs. It's always xenomorphs and I've known this was going to happen from the getgo. Well, one xenomorph's easy enough to deal with for us.

Even a colony can be destroyed by just one of us if things play out correctly. But it's clear that we're going to need more comrades to get this done. This is an emergency. That world has many mysterious secrets, there might be an interdimensional gateway somewhere in it and that would allow those things to cross dimensions and invade other worlds. They are notorious for hitchhiking space ships. Well, if they're everywhere in that world, I'm going to exterminate the ones in Pallet Town. After all, because I've watched about 10% of the main Pokémon anime, I am well familiar with the main characters of it as well as the important characters of Pallet Town. Not as familiar with other towns in that regard since most characters in other towns only appear once or twice in the show. But I won't go alone just in case they're tougher than we thought. That being said, I'm going to disintegrate xenomorphs and xenomorph eggs with my BRAIN Blaster to save time and get the mission done faster. Andromeda, Chocolate, where are you two?" Before much time passed at all, the wolf puppy and mighty horse appear on either side of me. I look down at the puppy: "Oh look at you, Andromeda. You're starting to grow. I bet you're going to grow into a much larger and stronger wolf while still being as adorable and affectionate as ever. And I can't forget you, my noble steed. You're already fully grown but still, I think you only become more mighty by the day. Well then, we have some work ahead of us. We must depart at once. No time to-" Someone puts a hand on my shoulder. What we didn't know was that Pokémon trainers were already trying to catch the xenomorph to get a rare new and terrifyingly powerful Pokémon..

Actually, I knew that but no one else did yet. That someone who put their hand on my shoulder was Herbsalvin of course: "My knight, don't you forget about me." "My knight, how could I forget about you? I was going to message you to be honest once we got to Pallet. Okay, yes, I replied starting the same way you started because I thought it would be funny. *laughs* And it is. They never really show 2 knights in love but guess what? I'm doing that through my stories and that means I get to show how fun we can be as 2 knights in love. Herbsalvin, we'll have to meet up in the Pokémon world after we take out a whole lot of xenomorphs. Why don't you go to a town close to Pallet so we can meet somewhere the morning after we arrive? This isn't going to be a one day adventure. And I suspect time there flows very differently than in Mii World, Minecraftia, or my Earth." "You are right. Let's meet somewhere near Pallet Town. And I learned not long ago that that world's time flows 50 times slower than Mii World, Minecraftia, and your Earth." "Interesting. That will give us plenty of time to take care of the problem and I must confess. Another reason I want to go to Pallet Town is to try out being a Pokémon trainer. I was a blader and b-shot in the past and am still a duelist, would be nice to expand once more." "I too have that desire." "Really?" "Yes. As knights, we are well equipped to train Pokémon and you introduced me to Pokémon and now I can't get the idea of having another companion, one I can train to grow stronger out of my head." "I see. Well, let's part ways for now and keep our promise by the names of our swords. This is going to be something else. Might as well call our future Pokémon disciples or squires in advance. Ha. Just kidding."

Seconds later, myself, Andromeda, and Chocolate were on the outskirts of Pallet Town where things were too quiet. I put on my Akatsuki cloak along with my colorful mask to conceal my true identity and to reduce the attention I get. "Alright, we're here. Andromeda, Chocolate, what do you want to do? Do you want to go hide somewhere and do whatever there or do you want to kill some of the xenomorphs in this area?" Chocolate assertively brushes the ground with one of her hooves. Andromeda sniffs the air and growls passionately with anger and disgust in the exact direction I sense the nearest xenomorph. "Well, you don't even need to say any words, do you? Well then, let's split up to cover ground faster. But make sure to blend in, okay? We don't need anyone noticing that 2 supposed Pokémon are destroying xenomorphs. It appears to be the afternoon at the moment. If those things have been here long enough, there's gotta be hundreds if not thousands of them just lurking around as facehuggers or fully mature nightmares. I hate xenomorphs though not as much as Ripley obviously does. I hope reinforcements arrive to lighten the work each of us needs to do in this world. We don't have enough of us to quickly finish this problem off before midnight comes at the moment and that's a huge problem." They nod and choose to go it alone for now as well. And I can basically skip most of the whole exterminating of xenomorphs thing. We all went in different directions, empathizing locations where cries of help and other signs of struggle can be detected from.

And sure enough, while tree hopping thanks to the chakra training I underwent sometime ago, I find myself starting things off with rescuing a really young and bold trainer from a xenomorph after they failed to catch it because it's not a Pokémon and craves human flesh. I strike quickly and precisely. One blast from my BRAIN Blaster and the xenomorph is molecularly reduced to zillions of independent atoms. That's what I meant by "disintegrate" earlier. It's no longer reducing something or someone into some kind of bizarre dark grey version of ash. It is completely molecularly disassembling whatever it hits. Quite dangerous in the wrong hands or mishandled by a user, intentionally or not. When the thing's gone, I move on, wanting to be as quick and silent as possible so all the kills will be easy to achieve. Soon, there will be rumors of a masked mysterious figure with odd technology going around and making the newly discovered "Pokémon" species vanish instantly one by one with some weird energy thing. I didn't say a word as I hunted them down, not even a whisper. I was fully focused on eliminating the threat. Wouldn't it be nice to use this body and all the gear I have on me to just devastate fascists worldwide in our world, dear readers? Too bad it's not possible. Otherwise, I would have done it already and become an even more private person while in my original world. And cause our world's history to take a drastic turn from now on.. Fascists are trying to destroy what makes people human. They're trying to destroy human nature in favor of deep obedience and unbridled hatred.

They are not supporters of freedom, they want to oppress, control, destroy, and profit. The US being a free country? What a laugh. It's not. Not anymore, at least. Anyway, at one point, I ran around to spread the word that those disgusting nightmares are not Pokémon. I explained a bit to Pallet Town's Nurse Joy as part of that. "That's all I will tell you for now, Nurse Joy. I'm afraid I don't have time for more right now. But rest assured that I will explain more later tonight or tomorrow." Once the last xenomorph I could sense within a 25 kilometer radius of Pallet's Pokémon Center is gone, I find Andromeda and Chocolate so that we're together again. Andromeda and Chocolate look proud. But at the same time, Andromeda scrunches their snout as if smelling a really foul odor, barks once, and speaks despite rarely ever talking: "Stinky! Remains of xenomorph guts stinks!" 15 minutes later, we're outside Dr. Okido's laboratory. Chocolate speaks: "We'll wait hidden nearby until you need us or are ready to reunite with us again." "Good, I'm counting on you both to keep yourselves away from attention. The headache of having you come in with me into that lab, only causing you to be mistaken for new never before seen Pokémon is not something I want to experience. I'm telling Okido everything. Well, everything he immediately needs to know. Like where those things came from for example. Watch out for Team Rocket. I know we're going to run into them tonight. It's going to be fun but let's all just fall dead asleep and let them think we don't know what they have up their sleeves this time." 2 minutes later, I enter Okido's lab after knocking and being told to come on in.

And let me just say I wasn't fully prepared when I saw a lot of people and pokemon sheltering inside the lab. Some excited kids among them point at me and shout. Okido comes to me: "Given what I've been told and how those kids are reacting, you must be one of the mysterious individuals who took down those things that are apparently not pokemon. No, you're the main one who has been spotted for several hours now. I'm Dr. Yukinari Okido. It's nice to meet you and I want to thank you for saving all of us from those monsters on behalf of all of Pallet Town. I hate to sound rude but who are you behind that mask?" "I'm well aware who you are. I'll agree to answering your question but if I'm going to do that, it will have to be in private. Let's just say I'm someone who would make the kids far more excited than they are if they knew what is hiding beneath my mask as well as my cloak. I'm not someone who likes attention necessarily and it would be much easier to talk to you about the reasons I've come here somewhere in private instead of right here. I didn't come here to give autographs. I'm sorry if that's asking for a lot considering all the people and pokemon in here right now. Most of them can safely go home now. There's no more of those xenomorphs around here for 25 kilometers in all directions from the Pokémon Center. I will tell you now that don't worry, the ones outside of that radius are being taken care of by others. They won't be bothering Pallet Town ever again." "That's fine by me. It's hard to communicate when it's so loud in here. I never get this number of visitors all at once, even when new Pokémon trainers come here to pick their first pokemon. I know where we can talk. Please follow me."

"No problem." As he leads me somewhere, Dr. Okido speaks again: "Say, just how did you get rid of those things anyway?" "There's no harm in discussing it now especially since I've decided to reveal my identity to others as well once our talk is done. It would be weird for a masked figure to.. Nevermind for now, I'll explain that in a bit. Okay. So to put that simply, I used an advanced piece of technology to reduce the xenomorphs to atoms. I did the same to all those xenomorph eggs to prevent more from hatching. You don't want to know just what kind of problems those things have caused in the past. I know that for certain. There's a theme park operator who also makes movies and things where I come from and let's just say that they decided having an attraction themed to encountering a xenomorph in some of their parks was too scary for their guests. They still made a terrifying ride but the alien was less disturbing than a xenomorph. Lots of people still screamed almost daily for years while riding that." "Advanced technology? So you come from a faraway land with technology I can only dream of?" "That's like the bootleg short version of things. It's much more complicated. I hope you have drinks you can get going because this might take a while." "It's a good thing we've arrived to our destination. Perfect timing!" He opens a door and I follow him into the room on the other side. It's his area he usually calls Satoshi from. And there's Satoshi's Muck who is thrilled to see the scientist before hugging him in their own way while talking in their language and such. "Muck, that's enough. Cut it out. Can we do this later?" Muck looks disappointed: "Muck.." "Don't worry, I'll make it up to you later, okay? Go do whatever else it is you want to do."

Muck feels better and goes off to some other place for now. The doctor closes the door and we both sit down so that we face each other. I sigh: "We may be here for a couple of hours. So let's not waste any time. I'll start by showing you who I really am and fully introduce myself at the same time." I remove my mask, revealing mostly just my face. "Hmm. I didn't expect you to be this young." "Yeah, you wouldn't have guessed right about my general age without having seen my face." I then remove my cloak to reveal my armor, cape, and everything else. "This is who I am." I even have a little non binary accessory on my right shoulder pauldron and it isn't just because it's Pride Month. "Wow. This is not something we see often, not even in Pokémon tournaments. You're a knight, I did not see that coming!" "You got it. Now do you understand why I wanted to conceal my identity? It wasn't because I'm wanted dead or alive or rather dead or a motionless blob of meat and things. Or a motionless skeleton.. Okay, there's enemies out there who want me gone along with many others as well but that's not the point. My name is Swiftdrawer and I am a dark knight, loyal to the people rather than any authority or hierarchy. I'll tell you the abridged version of my story and then I'll explain the xenomorphs further and from there, much bigger secrets I've been keeping than just my identity as a knight. But before any of that, we need to talk about what exists in order for my story or anything else to make sense. Do you know how big the universe is? It's billions of light years across in all directions or at least the observable universe is. The actual size of the universe may be incomprehensibly larger than that. I wouldn't know. I have friends who know but I refuse to find out for myself.

Mostly so I don't have to dance around the knowledge while writing in the future. But what if I told you that there are other universes? Other Earths where instead of Pokémon, they may have laser shooting dinosaurs or humanoid turtles or a giant school the size of a massive city for aspiring ninja. And other habitable worlds as well in some cases." I go on through the abridged rundown and when it's finally done, I breathe a sigh of relief: "It's over now. Anymore questions? That's all you need to urgently know right now. Here's a book on what else you should know now that you know about the BRAINS Collective and that the xenomorphs have somehow invaded this universe. But be warned, it's unwise to dwell much on what I'm telling you. Altering anyone's behaviors and so on for a number of reasons basically means that the largely set future of this world for as long as Satoshi continues to do his very best could be changed in bizarre ways, reminding me of the sociological law of unintended consequences. Making even just one pokemon slightly stronger could completely change this world's entire future and as I told you, BRAINS isn't a fan of messing with time for reasons other than to fix it. Until this world reaches a point at which time has been seriously screwed up in it to the point its future has radically changed despite our best efforts, that will remain important to watch out for. Time is not a toy to play with. It is dangerous to mess with." We talk for a bit more before leaving the room to return to where we were earlier. I didn't even bother concealing myself again.

I am a knight. I have worked so hard to gain the strength that I have. I should walk with pride with a large dose of humble pie mixed in at least every so often. I'm not afraid to walk steadfast with my identity clearly visible to any and all observers, I just really don't like getting a lot of attention that much. In order to make sure anyone left knows I'm still the one who helped a lot of them out earlier, I carried my cloak and mask in my hands. Okido smiles: "I've given it some thought and I will allow you to pick out a pokemon even though you are much older than the typical new Pokémon trainer. You're just in luck, I have one of each starter pokemon in this lab right now. Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander. And don't worry, you are welcome here at any time with those animal friends of yours you told me about. I won't mistake them for pokemon now that I understand that there are other creatures besides humans and pokemon in existence." "That's good to hear." Only a few of the kids and adults(and their pokemon, if they aren't being cared for by Nurse Joy and Chancey at the Pokemon Center) are left at this point. Outside, it must be really dark out with the sunlight reflected through the Moon to us as moonlight keeping things from becoming pitch black out there. I explain myself briefly to the kids and adults. The adults are happy and the kids are smiling. "Woah! A real knight! This is like a dream come true!" "It's like you popped right out of a fairy tale! A brave and powerful dark knight! So awesome!" I smile: "No need to flatter me, I'm just happy that you're all okay and doing well. I don't exactly belong in a fairy tale exactly but I mean, I can kind of see it.

Now then, it's time for me to select my first pokemon and I know precisely who I'm going to pick. Each one is adorable and very much huggable. I gave it some thought well in advance." Okido instructs me on pokeballs and how to use them briefly. Wasn't hard to understand. As someone who understands every Yugioh/Duel Monsters summoning method from watching the Yugioh animes, that's no surprise. I then make my selection. The kids watch closely in anticipation. Picking my choice up, I say: "Bulbasaur, I choose you. You are the closest of the 3 to my primary element: wind. Let's get along well and fight together, Bulbasaur." Okido smiles: "Congratulations! Here's Bulbasaur's pokeball! Make sure to take care of your new pokemon!" "You have my word that I will do my best to take care of Bulbasaur and ask for help in doing so when I need it. I'm going to head out for now, I will return sometime tomorrow to socialize a bit. I know you kids want me to stay but don't worry, you can come see me here tomorrow. Sometime in the afternoon would be good. For now, farewell. And Dr. Okido, thank you so much." After that, I return to Andromeda and Chocolate who have been waiting patiently while also silently but happily playing together. "Hey you two, there's someone I'd like you to meet. You seem to be having a lot of fun but can you stop doing that for just a moment?" Chocolate replies: "Of course!" Andromeda barks in agreement. Bulbasaur(who I decided to leave out of their pokeball for the time being so we can start bonding right away) speaks: "Bulbasaur?"

The 2 introduce themselves to Bulbasaur, being able to understand the Pokémon's language somehow while I myself cannot at this moment. But things will work out even so. After they're done with that, Chocolate speaks: "Shouldn't we find a place to stay?" I shake my head: "Let's just camp near here, basically whatever clearing is closest. Better chance of getting Team Rocket to think I'll just let them take you as captive rare pokemon which you aren't. Besides, we won't have to disturb anyone by getting a room somewhere or whatever. That and again, you and Andromeda would be seen as rare undiscovered until now pokemon. That would be annoying." We all work together to make camp, even Bulbasaur tries to help though their efforts don't do much but are still appreciated nevertheless. With that done, I ask: "Hey, after we have something to eat, would you like to stay up a little longer or are you ready to sleep? We could use sleep replacement potions or that's what I'd say if we didn't have a shortage of them due to the war against Don Thousand. None can be spared for more peaceful missions or the like." Andromeda yawns and looks exhausted: "I wanna sleep.." Bulbasaur and Chocolate display drowsiness as well. I'm exhausted myself. "Yeah, you don't need to say anything else. We're all ready to sleep at this point. Bulbasaur, I'm returning you to your pokeball when it's time for bed. It's a good thing we read up on the same camping book at different times a while back. Otherwise, this camp we have going on now would be a disaster or we'd still be fumbling around with it all."

We have a lot of fun together as we eat some stuff packed in the 2 bags attached to Chocolate's armor and my ender pouch. Oranges, bread, and so forth. And soon after that, I fall asleep with Bulbasaur put back into their pokeball. The rest of us are curled up together. I'm hugging my sword while laying on my side in a sleeping bag. Andromeda's next to the sleeping bag, quite close to my head. And Chocolate's is on more than one side of the sleeping bag, with a hove wrapped around the wolf puppy. Sleeping with them helped me fall asleep much more easily. I fell asleep with a pretty clear mind as well. Meanwhile with Team Rocket.. "Kojirō! Are you sure this is the right way to that brat's house?!" "I'm positive, Meowth! It has to be around here somewhere! That twerp and his friends have to be there and while they sleep, we can easily capture Pikachu at long last!" "I hate to interrupt but isn't it strange that that disgusting thing we saw earlier and its eggs have vanished?" "Meowth. I heard rumors of some mysterious figures making them go bye bye or something!" "You could have told us sooner, Meowth!" "Hey, don't give me that! I forgot about it, that's all!, Kojirō!" Musashi notices the fact that there's a campfire, a campfire myself and the others set up whose flames are already almost dead. "Hey, what's that over there?!" They investigate immediately. Meowth exclaims quietly: "Hey, I've never seen a trainer with these kind of pokemon before!" Musashi adds: "I've never seen a trainer who is also a knight before! I thought knights went extinct centuries ago!"

Kojirō nods: "That's what I heard too.." Meowth snaps: "Forget the fact that this person is a knight! Are we going to steal those pokemon because they're clearly incredibly rare or not?!" Kojirō sweats: "I don't think this is a very good idea.. Knights aren't the kind of people we should ever dare to mess with.. The same goes for samurai.." Musashi smirks: "It's going to be fine! Look, they aren't even waking up despite us being so close! We'll just take their pokemon and get away before they wake up, it's as simple as that. And then, once we deliver the pokemon to the boss, I can finally go shopping again!" Meowth sweat drops: "Shopping? Are you really think of shopping at a time like this? Anyway, we need to figure out how we're going to take their pokemon. That one that looks like a little runt will be easy to take but that big one who vaguely reminds me of Ponyta? That's not going to be easy.." Kojirō grins: "What if we let a machine do all the work for us?! Our pokemon cant lift a pokemon that heavy looking without waking up that knight." Musashi groans: "All we do is spend money on machines that end up failing us anyway! We're already broke enough as it is!" "Well, what do you suggest then?!" "We use something old fashioned like some kind of manual pulling thing!" "Meowth! That won't work!" Kojirō laughs: "I got it! All we have to do is gently lift that big pokemon and slowly move it to a cage attached to a vehicle! After all, don't we have a truck with a cage in the back somewhere near here?" And so, they get to work. Musashi easily picks up the sleeping Andromeda and puts them in that cage first without waking anyone.

Meowth and Kojirō realize they can just quietly move the truck closer and do just that before working together with Musashi and their main pokemon Arbok and Wheezing to get Chocolate into the cage as well. It was built big enough to capture a couple large pokemon or a lot of average sized pokemon. But doing all of this causes them to make one of their greatest mistakes. It was harder for them to move Chocolate than they thought and they managed to wake the horse up without realizing it and very nearly woke Andromeda as well. Chocolate stayed quiet for now. But when they closed the cage on her, she neighed loudly even though Team Rocket had restrained her physically as much as possible before closing the cage door. This woke up Andromeda who started growling. Meowth yells: "Curses! We woke them up!" Kojirō sweats heavily: "That means.." I wake up, see what's going on and pretend to still be asleep. Musashi laughs: "Looks like that knight's sleep is as heavy as their armor!" Andromeda easily breaks free of the restraints put on them, starting by tearing through some of the rope binding their legs. Once free, they tear through the restraints put on Chocolate. Musashi sweats: "I'm not laughing anymore. These pokemon.. They're so much smarter than we thought they were.." Kojirō gulps: "What should we do now?" Chocolate breaks the cage apart by charging right into it. Meowth yells: "Stop panicking, you ninnies! They may have escaped our cage but they're no match against your pokemon!" "You're right! Arbok!" "Wheezing! Victory Bell!" "*unison* Get them! And Meowth, that means you help get them too!" "Fine! Just don't dress me as that sunflower pokemon again!" I get up at that moment and easily reach where they all are, sliding my sword back into its scabbard while doing so.

I speak: "Did someone say my sleep is as heavy as my armor?" Kojirō smirks: "It's too late, knight! Your pokemon are ours!" I lightly smirk myself: "I could easily defeat all of you by myself but I'm going to let them take care of you." Musashi gulps: "What's that supposed to mean?" Meowth screams: "Look at that scar on that knight! That knight has been in real combat, real combat is something that has rarely happened since the establishment of Pokemon tournaments as far as I know!" I nod: "You don't want to know many of the things I've seen and gone through. Now then.. Andromeda, Chocolate, I know you can defeat our 'friends' on your own but we have someone who needs a little experience. I summon you, Bulbasaur! Do what you can, even if it means you have to keep switching between attacking and defense!" I unleash Bulbasaur from their pokeball. Team Rocket are confused but burst out laughing. Kojirō snickers: "Your pokemon must not be so strong after all if you're relying on a little Bulbasaur!" "I'm letting them all fight you in respect to the more peaceful way of handling conflicts through Pokemon battles. That and if I went easy on you while fighting you, it would still turn out poorly for all of you. I like how conflict resolution happens through Pokemon battles often here. Settling differences through less violent means is always good and something I can appreciate to the fullest." Suddenly, Satoshi, Takeshi, and Kasumi stumble into all of this. Satoshi shouts: "Team Rocket!"

Musashi laughs: "Prepare for trouble!" Kojirō continues: "Make it double!" "To protect the world from devastation!" "To unite all peoples within our nation!" "To denounce the evils of truth and love!" "To extend our reach to the stars above!" "Musashi!" "Kojirō!" "Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!" "Surrender now or prepare to fight!" "Meowth! That's right!" I sigh: "Hey, I'm still here you know. Satoshi, Takeshi, Kasumi, I know who you are. Your names have traveled far and wide after all. Johto, Kanto, the Orange Islands, even beyond that. It's nice to meet you. Let's talk later. No need for you to assist me, my friends have this covered, just watch. If you doubt my words, just at least wait a few seconds before jumping in. That's all I ask." Satoshi nods reluctantly: "Okay.." Andromeda and Chocolate clean house with Bulbasaur trying to help while also learning from them. Satoshi, Takeshi, Kasumi, and Pikachu are shocked at what they're seeing. Musashi, Kojirō, and Meowth scream as they're sent flying: "Team Rocket is blasting off again!" I yell: "Not so fast! You aren't going anywhere just yet!" Utilizing the red duel anchors used by various number hunters in Heartland City, I pull them back to the ground from the sky before they could vanish into the distance. Musashi snaps: "What's the meaning of this?!" Satoshi adds: "Uhh.. What are you doing?! Capturing anyone isn't right!" "I don't like it much either but I have no choice. I'll explain everything in a moment, once I let these 3 go or whatever I end up doing. In case you're wondering, no, I don't need to know why you all are out here in a place like this so late at night. Bulbasaur, return! Andromeda, Chocolate, please get ready to go back to sleep unless you want to stay up now."

Kojirō cries: "What do you want?! Do you want our money?! You can just take it if you'll let us go!" "I don't want your money. I'm not a robber or some secret official of any nation or government. Even as a knight raised in the modern age with computers and other things, I do have some sense at the very least. What I want from you is information. Do you or your boss work for Don Thousand?" The 3 answer: "Who's that?!" "You appear completely sincere. Okay then. I will now sense your energies to look for what is known as chaos energy as well as Barian power. I will also look out for the malice you hold in your hearts. You're more broke and mischievous than evil from what I know of you so it should be easy to tell if something has changed within you that could only be caused by the influence of the likes of Don Thousand." I don't sense anything wrong with them. "Okay, I can't even sense something called an imaginary number card within any of you. Not even anything I have on me is strongly reacting to any of you. You are almost 100% certainly just as you usually are and that means I'm no longer really worried about any of you. *undoes the duel anchors, making them vanish* In that case, you're free to go ahead and scram. Don't mess with me again or it won't be pretty. I sadly don't have the time to help show you there's a better way to live than you do right now. I pity you as amusing as you each get. And if I were to directly influence how you live out your lives from now on, that would mess with the future, causing unpredictable consequences to take place. Consequences that could inhibit the growth of many pokemon and Pokemon trainers."

The 3 retreat right away: "*unison* Team Rocket is retreating at full running speed once again!" They run to their truck and drive off at maximum speed. We heard the sound of screams before, during, and after a loud explosion followed by more running and screaming. Takeshi speaks first: "Hey, can we first talk about those 2 pokemon that we've never seen before?!" "I guess Dr. Okido didn't tell you what I told him. I will explain the most vital info quickly right now and explain everything else tomorrow after I meet up with someone very special to me. But first, how do you do? I'm Swiftdrawer and as you can probably guess, I'm a knight. *proceeds to explain the gist* Okay, that's all you're getting until tomorrow. It's even more late now. We all need some shut eye. Sleep is something that isn't fully understood yet. It's confounding, sometimes bringing up the question of why we even need sleep to begin with." Kasumi speaks: "Satoshi, doesn't your house have enough space for these 3 to spend the night still?" "Umm.. Not really.." "If there's space to sleep on the floor, that's fine. The 3 of us won't feel the floor at all. My armor's far more comfortable than you'd think or expect. Andromeda and Chocolate also have armor on. You just can't see it very well with how dark it is out here." And so, we end up spending the night in Satoshi's childhood home, having packed up our camp before going back with him, Takeshi, Kasumi, and Pikachu. When the morning came, I was the first to get up. I decided to let the others sleep and wrote a note about where I'd be going with a promise to return before the afternoon began. After that, I quickly found Herbsalvin easily after eating a breakfast of some stuff I had in my ender pouch.

"Swift, how did it go? *kisses me*" "*kisses back* It went great. The xenomorphs within a 25 kilometer radius of Pallet's Pokemon Center are all gone with few traces left behind. How about you?" "The same outcome just about." "No surprise there. Come with me, there's some people and pokemon I should introduce you to." "Alright, my knight. Lead the way." That's exactly what I do. Neither of us even teleported, that would be just too suspicious and strange to anyone who happened to see us. I knock on the door to the house. Satoshi opens it: "Back already?! That was fast! Hey, is that another knight with you?" Herbsalvin gives a brief wave: "I am called Herbsalvin and I am Swiftdrawer's partner." I add: "We've been together for about a year excluding a certain incident that we were stuck in for a long time. Okay, it's about time to explain everything to you and the others but you have to keep it secret lest you want all kinds of new problems to arise. That being said, it's incredible that this world hasn't been invaded yet." "This world?" "I'll tell you later. Be patient. Let's get everyone together so we can begin. Yes, your mom is welcome to listen as well but it's going to be hard work for y'all to keep what we're about to share secret." Once everyone is together and the others meet my lover, we spend the rest of the morning explaining. Myself, Herbsalvin, Andromeda, and Chocolate take turns explaining things. We recently got notice that the xenomorphs sent to this world were sent by a corporation seeking to exploit the entire Pokémon world despite having become a Type 2 civilization well on the way to becoming a Type 3 civilization. And that they're already being taken care of at the moment. Our collective will bring them to their end.

We share that as well and everything's done, lunch is prepared and enjoyed by everyone. Herbsalvin even gave some Miitopian ingredients to Satoshi's mom to make our lunch more unique. Takeshi asks after lunch: "What are all of you going to do? We ourselves will return to Johto in a couple of days to continue Satoshi's mission to earn all the gym badges required to enter the Johto League." Herbsalvin replies: "We will hunt down more xenomorphs, train our pokemon, and gain and train other pokemon until it's time for us to leave this world." I nod: "It's really that simple. The war we briefly mentioned going on in the furry world of Kohnanix is already winding down. Our side is winning because we have the technological and experience advantage. Some of our comrades have been advising Kohnanixians who are on our side as well as giving them our tech to use in battle. We aren't going to let another world spiral into a many months long bloody civil war again on our watch." Soon, the 4 of us parted ways with Satoshi and co, visited Dr. Okido, and set off for the next area to clear of xenomorphs. By sundown, we eradicated the xenomorphs in and around 4 towns. I don't know how much more of our Pokémon world adventures I'll write about at all so I guess you'll just have to wait till next time to find out how things end up going with that. It might just be a few hundred word overview before another situation regarding xenomorphs but at the very least, the door to Pokemon in these doors has been opened wide and that changes things to an extent. Thank you for reading.
