As the students gathered at the starting line, the stadium buzzed with excitement. Each student was determined to make their mark, whether they were from Class 1-A or any other. The crowd cheered, eager to see the young heroes-in-training showcase their skills.
When Present Mic's booming voice announced the start, students surged forward. Todoroki created slick ice paths, Bakugou blasted himself forward, and Iida's engines roared as he sprinted ahead. But as they fought through the grueling course, Izuku Gojo—or, as everyone knew him, the Izuku Gojo—had other plans.
He shot straight into the air, soaring above the chaos below. A mischievous grin spread across his face as he looked down at the struggling students, especially the hopefuls in Class 1-B.
"Oh hey, 1-B!" he called out, his voice loud enough to reach several of them. "Need a map? Or maybe a boost?" He smirked as a few of them glared up, clearly frustrated.
"Kami, who does he think he is?" one of the 1-B students muttered.
"Izuku Gojo, sweetheart," he answered from above, overhearing them. "Pleasure to be unforgettable!"
As he glided over the next stretch, he spotted Bakugou furiously blasting his way across the course, dodging debris with sheer grit. Izuku couldn't help himself. Floating down just close enough, he gave a mock salute.
"Yo, Boom Boy! Try not to blow yourself up before the finish line, yeah?"
"SHUT UP, YOU FANCY EYES!" Bakugou roared, barely keeping his balance as he fired a blast toward Izuku, who easily dodged it with a laugh.
Izuku chuckled and continued his aerial shortcut, and soon spotted Ochako navigating the course carefully. His eyes sparkled with mischief. Floating above her, he called out, "Hey, Ochako! Need a hand?" He extended his hand as if to pull her up.
Ochako looked up, cheeks warming. "I'm… I'm good! Just, uh, watch where you're flying!" she stammered, trying to keep her focus. Izuku shot her a playful wink, blowing her a quick kiss before soaring back up.
"Focus, Gojo!" yelled Tenya Iida from below, determined to ignore the antics. "This is a serious competition!"
"Don't worry, Iida," Izuku called down, his voice smooth. "I'll save my energy to seriously kick butt in the finals."
Within minutes, Izuku landed back in the stadium, dusting himself off with an easy smile, as though the obstacle course had been a morning jog. The audience fell silent, processing his arrival, before a wave of cheers and applause erupted.
"That's our Gojo!" one fan shouted from the crowd, clapping enthusiastically.
"He's incredible!" another voice echoed.
"Marry me, Izuku!" a girl yelled, waving a banner with his name.
Izuku smirked and waved at the audience, soaking in the admiration. "Ladies and gents, please, one at a time," he called out, tossing a wink toward the stands.
His classmates began to trickle in at the finish line. Many were out of breath, and a mix of annoyance and grudging admiration was plastered across their faces. Bakugou stomped over, his face red with anger. "YOU'RE NOT ALL THAT, YOU FREAK!"
"Calm down, Boom Boom," Izuku said, raising a brow. "A little charisma never hurt anyone. Try it sometime."
Todoroki's steely gaze lingered on Izuku, a flicker of something unreadable in his expression. Ochako, still flushed, managed a flustered smile as she avoided his eye contact.
"Nice… uh… shortcut," she said, trying to hide her blush.
Izuku chuckled, leaning against a nearby railing as he casually stretched. "Thanks, Ochako. It's all about thinking big."
As the crowd continued to chant his name, Izuku shot one final, confident grin toward his classmates.
From the VIP stands, Eri sat on the edge of her seat, her small hands gripping the railing as she watched Izuku zip through the sky with awe-filled eyes. Her face lit up with excitement, a huge smile stretching across her cheeks.
"Look at him go!" she squealed, clapping her hands. She turned to All Might, her eyes shining with admiration. "All Might, did you see that? Satoru is like… like a superhero from TV!"
All Might, in his skeletal form, gave a weak chuckle, patting her head gently. "Yes, little one, I saw it," he said, coughing slightly. "Young Midoriya does like to make an entrance, doesn't he? Though he could… tone down the taunts a bit," he muttered, shaking his head with a mixture of amusement and slight exasperation.
Principal Nezu, sitting comfortably beside them, took a sip of tea, his expression calm but with a glint of intrigue in his eyes. "Oh, but isn't that what makes him… unique?" Nezu mused, his high-pitched chuckle escaping. "Our young Satoru Midoriya certainly knows how to put on a show. It's a clever strategy—by getting attention, he's building confidence and managing his rivals' perceptions of him."
All Might nodded, albeit hesitantly. "True. But at this rate, he'll make more enemies than friends."
Nezu's chuckle grew into a full laugh. "Isn't that the beauty of competition, All Might? He's challenging everyone, students and spectators alike. Besides, I think he's already won over a few hearts." Nezu's eyes twinkled knowingly as he watched Eri, who was practically bouncing in her seat.
Eri turned back to the arena, her eyes glued to Izuku as he flirted and taunted the others. She giggled at his antics, not fully understanding them but thrilled by his confidence. "Satoru's gonna win! I just know it!" she declared proudly, causing All Might to chuckle again.
"With that confidence, young Eri, I think he just might."
As the obstacle course aired, social media exploded with reactions to Izuku Gojo's wild performance. Fans, critics, and curious onlookers alike flooded the internet with comments, their opinions a mix of praise, admiration, and outright bewilderment.

The internet was split: some admired Izuku's boldness and his clear strategic thinking, seeing his attitude as confidence and flair. Others, though, found his approach overly arrogant, even disrespectful. Memes and GIFs of his flirtatious wink toward Ochako, Bakugo's furious reaction, and Izuku casually flying over his competitors went viral within hours, adding fuel to the fiery debates.
Midnight grinned mischievously as she addressed the students from the stage, her voice ringing out clearly through the buzzing stadium. "Congratulations to everyone who finished the obstacle course! You all showed impressive skills. But we're only just getting started!" Her words were met with a mixture of cheers and nervous energy from the crowd. "The next event," she announced with a flourish, "is the Cavalry Battle!"
Students perked up immediately. The Cavalry Battle was known for its high stakes and intense teamwork. Midnight explained the rules in detail: "Each of you will start with a certain number of points, based on how well you performed in the obstacle course." She paused, glancing down at her clipboard. "You can form teams of two to four people, and you'll work together to protect your points. But here's the twist…" Her gaze drifted to Izuku Gojo, standing confidently among his classmates.
"The one who came in first place—our very own Izuku Gojo—has a staggering one million points on his head!" Midnight declared, her voice filled with delight at the added drama. "Whoever manages to take his headband will gain those million points for their team!"
At her words, the stadium erupted. Gasps and murmurs echoed through the audience as they processed the announcement, while students from other classes started to eye Izuku with a mix of envy and predatory excitement. This was their chance to knock down Class 1-A's star, the arrogant prodigy who'd soared through the obstacle course with ease. The bounty on his head was too tempting to resist.
Izuku, however, just leaned back casually, his smirk widening as if the million-point target was more amusing than intimidating. He scanned the faces of his classmates, noting the spark of determination in his rivals' eyes. Bring it on, he thought.
"Alright, ladies," he called out, making a show of scanning the girls in Class 1-A with a playful grin. "Who wants to join Team Gojo?" His tone was smooth, almost challenging, as if he already knew the answer but wanted to enjoy the reactions.
Jiro shot him an unimpressed look, crossing her arms. "Yeah…no," she muttered, already imagining the bullseye that would be painted on them if they joined his team. "Not interested in being a target, thanks."
Tsuyu tilted her head, blinking at him with her usual bluntness. "Ribbit. I'd rather not get dragged into your mess, Gojo," she replied, deadpan.
Momo gave him a polite but dismissive smile. "I think I'll pass, thank you," she said, stepping back. Despite her respect for Izuku's skills, she was more interested in keeping her own strategy intact.
Even Tooru, invisible as always, could be heard chuckling as she chimed in. "Sorry! Don't think I'm the right fit for your team, Izuku."
Izuku laughed, shrugging off the rejection with an easy smile. "Fine, fine, I see how it is," he said with a mock pout, putting his hands on his hips. "Guess you ladies just don't know talent when you see it."
Just then, a voice called out from the crowd. "Izuku Gojo!" A girl with wild pink hair and an infectious grin stepped forward. It was Mei Hatsume from the support class, her eyes gleaming with excitement as she made her way toward him. "I'll join you!" she announced enthusiastically, her voice carrying over the murmuring crowd.
Izuku raised an eyebrow, amused. "Oh? And what brings you to Team Gojo, Miss—"
"Mei Hatsume!" Mei's grin widened, and she tapped her goggles with pride. "You've got the biggest target on your head, and I've got the gadgets to help us survive!" she declared confidently. "Besides," she added, her eyes glinting with ambition, "what better way to show off my babies?" She gestured to her gear, hinting at the arsenal of inventions she'd brought along.
Izuku smirked. "Welcome to the team, Hatsume. Let's make a statement out there."
From the shadows, another figure stepped forward—Tokoyami, his dark shadow swirling around him like a living entity. "Your power intrigues me, Gojo," he said, his tone calm but firm. "I will lend you my strength…for now."
Izuku grinned and extended a hand, which Tokoyami accepted with a brief nod. "Glad to have you, Tokoyami. Let's show them what we're made of."
Then, to Izuku's surprise, Ochako stepped forward, a determined look on her face. She seemed nervous, but her resolve was clear. "Alright, Gojo, I'm in," she said, clenching her fists with resolve. "I don't know how much help I'll be, but…let's do this!"
Izuku's grin softened slightly, and he offered her a fist bump, which she returned with a smile. "With you three, we're unbeatable," he declared confidently, his voice carrying over the murmurs of the crowd.
As Izuku's team came together, whispers broke out among the other students and audience members.
"Is he seriously going to pull this off?"
"Only he would have the audacity to taunt the entire stadium…"
"He's going to get himself in trouble, but… man, you've gotta respect that confidence."
In the teacher's booth, Aizawa watched with his usual expressionless stare, though there was a flicker of intrigue in his eyes. "Cocky, as always," he muttered, leaning back in his chair. "But he's got the skill to back it up."
Present Mic snorted, watching with amusement. "Kid's got guts! Think he can handle the heat of everyone coming after him?"
Aizawa shrugged. "That's what we're here to find out."
Meanwhile, up in the stands, little Eri clutched her plush rabbit, her eyes wide with admiration as she watched her "big brother" gather his team. "He's so cool!" she whispered, clapping her hands in excitement.
Beside her, All Might, still in his skeletal form, chuckled as he watched his successor stir up the crowd. "Young Gojo certainly knows how to capture an audience," he said, his voice filled with a mix of pride and exasperation.
As the crowd continued to buzz with anticipation, Midnight began the countdown. "Teams, get ready! The Cavalry Battle begins in three…two…one!"
With his team assembled and the crowd's eyes locked on him, Izuku Gojo flashed a grin that was equal parts daring and confident. The game was on, and he was more than ready to put on a show.
O—O—O
Shigaraki sat alone in a dimly lit room, his pale fingers twitching over the remote as he stared at the screen. The live broadcast of the U.A. Sports Festival blared in front of him, showing Izuku Gojo confidently taking the top spot in the obstacle course. His white hair glinted under the stadium lights, his grin smug as he waved to the crowd, reveling in the cheers.
"That brat…" Shigaraki muttered, his voice edged with bitterness. "He thinks he's invincible, doesn't he?"
The sight of Izuku grinning, basking in the crowd's admiration, only fueled Shigaraki's frustration. He felt a burning need to prove that no one—especially not some flashy kid from U.A.—was untouchable.
As his fingers tapped on the armrest, a strange thought tugged at his mind, almost like a whisper. It wasn't a sound, more like an idea creeping through him, subtle and uninvited. 'He's a nuisance, isn't he? You could be the one to bring him down. You have the strength, Tomura.'
Shigaraki frowned, brushing the thought aside, but it lingered, a voice tempting him to action. The power to wipe away that arrogance, to show him the truth—that's within your grasp.
He scowled, pushing the whisper from his mind, unwilling to give it any ground. "I don't need ideas," he muttered to himself, fingers drumming impatiently. "I'll show him soon enough. He's nothing special."
But even as he looked back at the screen, the thought stayed with him, insistent. Just wait, Gojo, he thought, his eyes narrowing. 'Your confidence won't last forever.'
O—O—O
As the Cavalry Battle began, the stadium erupted with cheers and anticipation. The high-energy crowd leaned forward in their seats, eager to see who would come out on top. Students from all classes geared up, each team carefully positioned, quirks at the ready. The air was electric with tension as competitors eyed each other, silently strategizing. But all eyes were on one team: Izuku Gojo's, who carried a million-point headband, the highest prize of all.
Izuku stood confidently, surrounded by his chosen team members. Mei Hatsume, bubbling with enthusiasm, had an array of her "babies" strapped on her arms and back. Tokoyami stood dark and poised, Dark Shadow looming ominously over his shoulder. Ochako was determined, fists clenched, ready to lighten her team's weight to give them the ultimate speed advantage. Izuku smirked, adjusting his Infinity Barrier as he turned to his teammates.
"Alright, you three, just follow my lead, and we'll be untouchable." Izuku's voice was confident, his trademark grin flashing. "Anyone tries to get close, they'll regret it."
Mei giggled, patting one of her gadgets. "They can try, but my babies won't let them anywhere near us!" She glanced over at Dark Shadow. "And that shadow of yours is pretty scary too!"
Tokoyami nodded, serious as ever. "We'll form a perfect defense. Together, we're invincible."
Ochako smiled nervously but gave a determined nod. "Let's do this, Gojo! I've got your back!"
The signal sounded, and instantly, students lunged forward, eyes locked on Team Gojo's headband. Teams from Class 1-B and even a few from Class 1-A bolted toward them, ready to pull off an ambitious heist. The air buzzed with quirks activating—fire, ice, wind, electricity, all aimed at Izuku and his team.
Izuku lifted his hand casually, expanding his Infinity Barrier as the first wave of attacks hit. A barrage of ice and lightning fizzled and shattered against the invisible shield, stopping just inches away from them. Izuku laughed, looking entirely unfazed. "Is that all you got? Come on, at least make it interesting!"
Bakugo, on a team across the field, growled furiously, launching himself toward Izuku. "Damn you, Fancy Eyes! I'll blow that smug look off your face!" His hands crackled with explosions, and he blasted forward at high speed, closing in on Izuku's team.
"Dark Shadow, now!" Tokoyami commanded, and Dark Shadow surged forward, blocking Bakugo's path. Bakugo shot his explosions forward, but Dark Shadow absorbed the attacks with ease, towering over Bakugo with a menacing growl.
"Get outta my way, bird-brain!" Bakugo snarled, throwing a series of explosions to try and break through, but Dark Shadow held him back, unfazed.
Meanwhile, other teams circled around, looking for an opening. From Class 1-B, Setsuna Tokage smirked as she split her body into smaller pieces, attempting to sneak past the Infinity Barrier. "If I can just slip through..."
But Izuku saw her from the corner of his eye and snapped his fingers, using his Telekinesis to push her pieces out. "Nice try, but not even close!" he said, his voice dripping with confidence.
Mei squealed with excitement, releasing a series of her gadgets. "Alright, babies, protect our million points!" Small drones flew around, creating a defensive wall of tiny explosives and smoke screens. They buzzed around their heads like a mechanical hive, sending out small pulses that repelled anyone who got too close.
Class 1-A's Kirishima, leading his own team, hardened his arms, grinning with determination. "Alright, let's break through! We're getting that headband!" He charged at them, fists raised, aiming to overpower them with brute force.
Izuku raised an eyebrow, amused. "That's cute, Kirishima, but no dice." With a flick of his fingers, he lifted Kirishima off his feet, floating him in the air before tossing him harmlessly back to his team. "Hope you enjoyed the flight!"
Ochako let out a relieved laugh. "Gojo, you're really making this easy!"
The announcer, Present Mic, couldn't contain his excitement. "WOAH! Did you see that, folks? Izuku Gojo's team is practically a fortress! No one can get close!"
The crowd cheered, murmuring in amazement. "He's just playing with them!" "Look at how relaxed he is!" "I've never seen anything like it!"
From the stands, Eri, seated next to All Might and Nezu, was bouncing in her seat with excitement, clapping her hands. "Go, big brother Satoru! Go!" she shouted, although none but All Might and Nezu could hear her.
All Might, in his skeletal form, smiled despite himself. "He's really something, isn't he, Principal Nezu?"
Nezu chuckled, nodding. "Indeed. Young Gojo has turned this battle into his playground. The others don't stand a chance unless they work together."
Meanwhile, Bakugo tried once again, shouting, "I'm not letting you get away, Fancy Eyes!" He leapt high, aiming an explosion directly at the team, but Mei's drones intercepted him, sending out a smoke screen that forced him to back off.
"YES! Babies, keep him away!" Mei shouted, her eyes gleaming as her inventions worked exactly as planned.
Izuku's grin widened as he spotted Shoto Todoroki's team approaching from the other side. "Well, well, if it isn't Todoroki! You think you can freeze me out?" he taunted.
Shoto's eyes narrowed, determined. "I'll get that headband, Gojo. You're not untouchable."
Shoto unleashed a massive wave of ice, intending to encase Izuku's team. But with a subtle flick of his wrist, Izuku dissolved the ice before it even reached him, his Limitless barrier nullifying the attack entirely. He shot Shoto a playful smirk. "Better luck next time, Shoto!"
Finally, Izuku decided to go on the offensive. With his Telekinesis, he began reaching out and pulling headbands off unsuspecting teams. One by one, headbands floated through the air, coming to rest around Izuku's neck as he calmly added to their points.
"Hey!" one Class 1-B student shouted, flailing as his headband drifted away. "That's not fair!"
Another team desperately tried to form a protective wall, only for Izuku to deftly slip their headband right out of their grasp. "Thanks for the gift!" he called back, laughing as he added yet another headband to their pile.
Soon, the battle wound down, and the results were clear. Midnight's voice echoed through the stadium. "And that's the end! Team Gojo, with a million fifty thousand and six hundred points and an incredible number of headbands, takes the highest score!"
The crowd went wild, cheering Izuku's name, and the stadium filled with thunderous applause. Izuku let the headbands around his neck sway as he took a dramatic bow, his trademark grin flashing at the crowd.
Bakugo, standing with his team, clenched his fists in frustration. "Damn it, Fancy Eyes! This isn't over!"
Shoto, quiet but determined, looked over at Izuku, a spark of competitiveness in his eyes. It was clear he was already planning his next move.
As Izuku's team disbanded, Ochako gave him a high-five, laughing. "That was amazing, Gojo-san! I've never seen anyone use their quirk like that!"
Tokoyami nodded, his expression more intense. "Your power is… extraordinary. But I won't be a pawn in your games forever."
Mei, practically dancing with joy, cheered, "I knew my babies wouldn't let me down! We were unbeatable!"
With the top scorers set, the other teams—Bakugo's, Shoto's, and another from Class 1-B—stood by, knowing they had to step up their game. And as Izuku left the arena, his grin never faded. He had claimed victory in the Cavalry Battle, and he couldn't wait to see what the next challenge would bring.
O—O—O
As Shigaraki sat in front of the flickering screen, watching Izuku's confident grin plastered across every channel, the voice in his head grew louder and more insistent. Its mocking tone was like jagged glass, scraping against his already strained mind.
'Look at him, laughing, basking in that pathetic victory. He thinks he's untouchable, doesn't he?' The voice practically purred with disdain. 'That cocky little brat is making a fool out of you, Tomura. You're just gonna sit here, scratching at yourself like some caged animal, while he takes everything? Pathetic.'
Shigaraki clenched his teeth, fingers digging so deeply into his arm that his nails threatened to pierce his skin. "Shut up," he muttered, his voice tense, as if speaking would quiet the taunting.
'Oh? Gonna tell me to shut up, are you?' the voice sneered, its tone growing louder, resonating in his mind until it was all he could hear. 'Without me, you're nothing. A weak little child throwing tantrums. But with me? We could tear that boy apart… limb by limb, muscle by muscle, until there's nothing left but his smug little smirk broken on the ground.'
Shigaraki's eyes narrowed, his fists clenching. "I don't need your help," he snarled, but the wavering in his voice betrayed his hesitation.
The voice cackled, dark and twisted, echoing through his mind with every bitter, venomous word. 'Don't lie to yourself. You're desperate. You've wanted to crush him for so long, haven't you? Yet here you are, helpless, watching him shine on your screen like a rat in a cage.'
Shigaraki's hands began to shake as his rage boiled over. His fingers itched with the desire to decay everything around him, to crush it all into dust. But every second the voice grew louder, mocking his every impulse and taunting his inability to act.
'Let me in,' the voice whispered, dripping with temptation. "Give me five minutes, Tomura. That's all I need. Just a taste, and I'll show you what real power feels like. What real destruction looks like. Don't you want to see the fear in that boy's eyes? Don't you want to make him beg?'
A shudder ran through Shigaraki. The voice was grating, yes, but he could feel the truth beneath the taunts. He did want to see Izuku's confidence shattered, to hear the boy plead, to make him feel every ounce of the hatred boiling inside.
But he couldn't trust this… thing. Not fully.
The voice sighed, feigning impatience. 'Honestly, brat, you're embarrassing yourself. I thought you wanted power. I thought you wanted control. But here you are, hesitating. Pathetic. Weak.'
"Fine!" Shigaraki snapped, his voice a hoarse whisper of desperation mixed with fury. "Two minutes. No more."
The voice chuckled, a deep, primal sound filled with a hunger that sent a chill down Shigaraki's spine. 'Oh, that's all I need, brat. You won't regret this… Well, I won't.'
As soon as the words left his lips, an intense heat pulsed through his body. Dark, snake-like markings appeared, twisting up his neck and crawling across his face like living tattoos. His skin seemed to darken, and suddenly, an extra pair of eyes opened up below his original ones, glinting with a sinister, otherworldly gleam. His mouth twisted into a wicked grin, one that bore no trace of Shigaraki's usual half-apathetic malice—this was pure, unfiltered predatory glee.
Kurogiri, standing nearby, took a hesitant step back, his eyes widening with visible alarm as he took in the terrifying transformation. "Tomura… what—what is this?"
The entity rolled his shoulders, stretching as if settling into a new skin, then turned those four piercing eyes toward Kurogiri with a look of dark amusement. "Oi, Mist Face," he drawled, his voice now laced with a deep, twisted resonance. "How about you open a portal for me? I feel like paying that cocky kid a little… visit."
Kurogiri's misty form flickered uncertainly. "Tomura, this isn't wise—"
"Did I stutter?" the entity snapped, his voice laced with a dangerous edge. "Or do you want to join that brat as dust under my feet?"
Kurogiri gulped, visibly torn, but the commanding aura emanating from Shigaraki's transformed form was impossible to ignore. With a resigned nod, Kurogiri's misty hands began to form a portal.
"As you wish… Tomura. But please, proceed with caution."
The portal shimmered to life, revealing the distant, cheering roar of the stadium. The entity inhaled deeply, as though savoring the scent of chaos that awaited on the other side.
"On top of the stadium," he said with a smirk, casting one last mocking glance at Kurogiri. And with that, he stepped through, disappearing into the darkness.
O—O—O
In the bright midday sun, atop the crowded stadium, the twisted figure re-emerged, overlooking the cheering crowds below. The king of curses had been reborn, and he was hungry for destruction.
"Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine."
O—O—O
Author Note: Bye bye, canon!
The King of Curses unleashes his Domain Expansion right above the stadium, and with over 50,000 people within his reach, including Class 1-A, 1-B, 1-C, Pro Heroes, the audience, vendors, reporters, and even Eri… the stakes have never been higher. Will they survive, or will they face a tragic fate, like in Shibuya?
And Sukuna only has 2 minutes, so, he'll try to cause maximum dammage.
From this point onwards, expect the unexpected. The narrative is shifting, and the chaos is only beginning. As for a certain reader's request to bring Yuji into the picture—well, he's an interesting idea, but we've already got a protagonist in the mix. However, there is our Toji's role in this conflict.
