Today or tomorrow. Still writing with one hand, but I'm getting there. Working on Weapon Master of Remnant as well, still not sure if that should be a thing.
And then we come tot his little idea.
Should this be a story? Yes? No? Maybe so? By all means, speak up! Make yourself heard.
As ever, I own no references, quotes, memes or themes. Not a wit or a one.
I'm just a humble author trying to make his way in this wild world.
Reviews have, and always will be, all I ever receive...
"You...cold-blooded fiend!"
"Life is cruel. Why should the afterlife be any different?"

A Wicked Disease
There's an old saying in this world.
If you want something done right, do it yourself.
Truer words had never been spoken in this moment, Salem mused.
Reclining upon her throne, she sat back and watched with a languid smile as her Knight approached. There was a spring in his step today; for good reason at that. A crown spun around one hand, while the other...dragged something else altogether behind him. Was that a person? It was...difficult to tell. Whomever they were, their face was a bruised mess. She had her suspicions. Her council was of another mind. Red eyes rimmed by black cast them an idle glance, considering them like the curious creatures they were.
Poor, poor Tyrian. He was positively sulking in his seat.
Watts said not a word; on the contrary, his face was an alarming shade of puce. He'd eaten his words.
Hazel looked on in stoic silence, unreadable as ever. Salem wondered if he was pleased. Always so hard to read, that one.
And Cinder...oh my. Poor girl looked like she was torn between horror and ecstasy. Might be best to nip that in the bud soon. Wouldn't do for her to get ideas now...
"The Fall Maiden, as promised." Naruto flung the stunned girl forward at Cinder's feet. "Here." he nudged her barely breathing form. "Take her with my blessing."
Pivoting on one heel, he turned and presented the Crown to Salem herself.
"And the Relic of Choice." his smile was curiously bright. "Pried from Ozpin's cold, dead hands."
"Marvelous." She took it from him and set it upon her head.
Hazel grunted his approval. "You killed him, then?"
A nod. "Tore his head off myself."
...then you have my thanks."
"All this in less than a week?" Salem smiled softly. "Marvelous. I expected no less of you. Cinder? Would you be a dear, Oh," long lashes fluttered in a blink as Naruto reached out and seamlessly transferred the power from the half dead girl to their own maiden aspirant. "Nevermind. You seem to have the matter well in hand...
Cinder's seat clattered to the floor as she toppled backwards.
Silly girl. The powers of a Maiden always did have a bit of a kick. She'd be sleeping this off for the rest of the day. Oh, but her Knight was looking at her now. He deserved a reward.
"Oh, very well."
He knelt and kissed her hand.
She shivered but a little in anticipation.
Salem quirked a brow. "You do realize, this means war."
Naruto's smile was just the right shade of vicious. "Race you to the bedroom?"
Salem rose from her throne. She didn't simply run. No. Nay. Not at all. She absolutely blurred.
A/N: Like I said, just a fragment. And an Evil!Naruto for once, though I don't write those often.
Felt good to clear my head like that. Hope you enjoyed it.
Do you want this to be a story? Yes? No? Maybe so? Make yourselves heard!
Aaaand there we go. As ever, reviews keep me alive. Without them, I cannot write. So...in the Immortal Words of Atlas...
...Review...Would You Kindly? And have some previews -potential blot bin things- that I'm working on.
