The Quintessons stumble upon the dormant Cybertron and reactivate Shockwave, intending to brainwash the scientist into their servant. However, Shockwave managed to resist the Quintessons and fled their homeworld of Planet Q, returning to Cybertron and using resources he had stolen from the greedy aliens to reawaken his fellow transformers.
In order to satisfy their energy needs, Shockwave also began project Regenesis, seeding various planets with specially derived energon ores. This plan was ultimately successful in satisfying the cybertronian's energy needs, effectively ending the war. However, many autobots were initially unwilling to trust Shockwave.
That was until he installed the elite guard, led by Ultra Magnus, as the new leaders of Cybertron while he claimed to be stepping down and retreating into obscurity. However, unbeknownst to any of the other cybertronians, Shockwave would instead infiltrate the autobot ranks disguised as an autobot named Longarm, subtly brainwashing the populace into docility.
However, not all autobots were fooled by Shockwave. All of the resistance groups that had existed prior to the great shutdown continue to fight Shockwave in secret, launching guerrilla attacks on certain facilities. Along with that, more independent rebel factions began to rise up, including a small rebel faction led by the young Hot Rod and consisting of himself, Springer and Arcee, as well as a group led by the autobot Blaster.
Even Ultra Magnus was still weary of Shockwave even after all he had done, but remained quiet in order to maintain the peace. Some autobots would also choose to leave cybertron of their own accord like the inhabitants of Master and Paradron had before them. This group, led by Dai Atlas, became known as the CIrcle of Light and were dedicated to preserving cybertronian culture.

After assembling a group of likeminded Decepticons consisting of the loyal Lugnut and the unstable Blitzwing, Gigatron steals a Decepticon star cruiser dubbed the Doomsday and takes off into the stars, beginning a long search for the Allspark. This search was being backed by Straxus, who still had control over a territory he dubbed Darkmount.

Shockwave discovered the existence of the Circle of Light and sent Deadlock to eliminate them. However, once Deadlock found them on the planet Theophony, he was defeated by Dai Atlas and offered to join the circle of light. Deadlock reluctantly stayed for a time, eventually retaking his birth name and training in the way of the sword.
Drift would ultimately renounce his Decepticon allegiance as he became convinced that the Cybertronian race had lost sight of the reason it was at war. However, only a few weeks later, Shockwave deduced that Drift had either died or defected, so he hired Lockdown to finish his work. Lockdown gleefully accepted the credits and soon arrived at Theophany.
When he found Drift, the former decepticon revealed his defection and began fighting the bounty hunter alongside his newfound friend and sparring partner Wing. However, Wing was killed, causing an enraged Drift to nearly kill Lockdown before the bounty hunter managed to escape. Afterwards, Drift took up Wing's Great Sword and set out to make a difference in the universe.

After 100,000 years of peace, a young upstart Decepticon named Deathsaurus became dissatisfied with the new status quo. Seeking to begin conquest efforts on other planets now that Cybertron had a stable supply of Energon again, he gathered a group of likeminded Decepticons and took up the title of "Emperor of Destruction", beginning to construct a giant battle fortress that had the power to destroy entire worlds.
However, a team of autobots led by the young but noble Star Saber (named after Prima's legendary sword) caught wind of this plan and rushed to stop it. As soon as the fortress was completed, Star Saber's forces arrived where it was and engaged in a violent battle with Deathsaurus's Decepticons.
This battle ultimately ended with Deathsaurus's space station being de-powered and trapped in a gravity well in a region of space known as the Dark Nebula by Star Saber. This caused an enraged Deathsaurus to swear revenge on Star Saber as he and his Deceptocons fled into space, Star Saber's autobots following close behind them. And so, both factions would begin a new war far away from their homeworld of Cybertron.

Lockdown was hired by Shockwave once again to steal the cash of autobot protoforms from the Cyber-Ninja dojo in order to prevent the autobot rebels from potentially getting anymore troops. Lockdown accepted this and stormed the dojo being opposed by Yoketron. Lockdown had actually originally been a student of Yoketron before leaving to join the Decepticons.
The bounty hunter ultimately managed to grievously wound his old master and made off with the protoforms. Shortly afterwards, the young Prowl, who had made no progress in his optics quest and sought Yoketron's guidance, returned to find his nearly dead master. Desperate to save Yoketron's life, Prowl transferred his spark into a protoform that had been left behind.
However, while Yoketron did form in the new protoform, the old master chastised Prowl for not accepting fate, telling him not to sacrifice a piece of the future to bring back the past. As he told Prowl that he would understand with time, Yoketron relinquished his spark, causing his body to turn gray. Afterwards, a mourning Prowl left Cybertron to continue his optics quest.

On Earth, a new species of snake-human hybrids begin to evolve alongside humanity. This species would eventually form a civilization known as Cobra-La and become the leading civilization on Earth. They looked down on the primitive humans due to technological and cultural differences and treated them as second class citizens.

The cybertronians of Eukaris create the transwarp key, which allowed them to teleport anywhere in the universe they wanted. Initial tests of this key led a group of Eukarins to Antilla, where they discovered a powerful artifact known as a Talisman that had been created during the Rust Plague. Upon experiments that revealed the Tailsman's myriad of different powers, Eukarin leader Apelinq determined it too dangerous to leave on the planet.
As a result, Domitius Major, pilot of the starship Axalon (The ship the beast wars Axalon was named after), was tasked with dumping the Talisman on an uninhabited planet. The commander accepted this mission and headed off with his crew, planning to dump the Talisman in the Coppernican system on Venus.
However, once they reached the Coppernican system after a few months of lightspeed travel, they decided to stop on Earth in order to refuel, as they had detected a large source of energon on the planet. Unbeknownst to them, this was because of the fact that Earth had been one of the planets Shockwave had selected for his Regenesis project, the planet having been seeded with the energon ore-13.
Shockwave had even used all of the raw energon that remained on the planet from the Vok's time on it to create more of the ore, making the planet habitable for transformer life. Speaking of which, the scientist quickly spotted the Axalon in the skies above Earth and shot it down, causing it to crash on a glacier in what would one day be known as Brasnya.
When Shockwave went to investigate the ship, he found that while the Eukarians inside had survived, the Talisman had scrambled their minds and left them all amnesiacs. When he saw a younger crew member named Centurion question who he was, Shockwave was inspired to conduct a social experiment.
By overriding their missing memories with data on the cybertronian civil war, Shockwave managed to convince the stranded Eukarins that they were the crews of the Ark and Nemesis respectively. Domitius Major became "Optimus Prime", while Centurion became "B-127." The 2 factions would begin battling one another in a series of simulated war games for the next century, with Shockwave observing their tactics while leaving Straxus in charge on Cybertron.

The Dynobots tracked Shockwave to Earth and scanned buried dinosaur fossils, battling the Decepticon scientist in their new dinosaur alternate modes. However, after a long battle, Shockwave was able to trap the Dynobots in a tar pit, sending them into stasis lock. Unfortunately for him, the Decepticon scientist was left heavily wounded by the battle, causing him to return to Cybertron and resume his status as its secret leader and "Longarm Minor" at the military academy.
With Shockwave gone, the "Autobots" and "Decepticons" were left to continue their war without his supervision, the scientist having gotten all he believed he needed from them. However, Cobra-La had caught wind of the giant robots battling on their planet, and not wishing to lose their territory, began attacking both factions, causing the mini war to become a 3 way slugfest.
15,000 years ago
The ersatz Autobots and Decepticons finally run low on energon without Shockwave supplying it in secret and are forced to enter stasis lock underground. Cobra-la are also forced to evacuate to a secret base in the Himalayas, vowing to one day reclaim the Earth they thought was theirs.

After millions of years of floating through space, the starship Exodus crashes into Earth's moon, causing it to break in half. While the cargo bay and the engineering hull landed on the moon, the primary hull hurtled towards the planet down below. At the last second, the ship's emergency systems kicked in, firing Mini-Con panel escape pods in various directions before the Exodus slammed into the Earth, becoming entombed in a cave system.
Back on Cybertron, Ultra Magnus, suspecting that the Ark may still be out there somewhere and believing that they may be able to find the Matrix of Leadership in Optimus Prime's body, sent autobot brothers Fastlane and Cloudraker to find the missing ship. In response, Shockwave sent Decepticons Battletrap, Flywheels, Wingspan and Counterpunch to pursue them.
Unbeknownst to Shockwave, Counterpunch was the autobot spy Punch, who wished to find the Ark and make sure that no one else could find it, as were the orders of Optimus Prime.

Shockwave decides to send 3 decepticons named Blood, Dauros and Glimer to Earth to check if the Eukarins were still alive. However, 4 autobot rebels known as Metalhawk, Lander, Diver and Phoenix pursued them in a stolen starship. The Decepticons used technology invented by Shockwave to disguise themselves as giant organic monsters, the very structure of their bodies being altered.
They also managed to discover the Atlantis buried underwater and convinced some of its inhabitants to join them in terrorizing human settlements, with all of them being interpreted as demons. In response, the autobots that followed Blood, Dauros and Glimer to Earth recruited the rest of the Atlantis's crew, who helped them replicate the organic disguises of the 3 Decepticons, which Metalhawk, Lander, Diver and Phoenix used to disguise themselves as humans, even shrinking down to their size.
These 4 autobots dubbed themselves "Pretenders", which became the name used for all the transformers with organic disguises. Together with the crew of the Atlantis, the autobot pretenders were able to defeat and imprison the Decepticon Pretenders, sealing them all away under various landmarks.
However, the other Decepticons all managed to escape, with former Atlantis crew member Crosswise choosing to leave to hunt them down while the other crew members returned to hibernation within their ship. Afterwards, the autobot pretenders chose to remain on Earth, having become fond of the planet.
They disguised themselves as ordinary humans and formed new lives for themselves while also occasionally helping Crosswise with hunting the remaining Decepticon stragglers. These encounters would become the basis for many of humanity's myths and legends, with the Decepticons being interpreted as monsters or demons and the autobots as angels and heroes.

A band of headmasters led by an arrogant one named Scorponok (no relation to the one who died in the Beast Wars) grow tired of Cerebros's leadership and launch a rebellion, attempting to cease power for themselves. However, this attempted rebellion failed and resulted in the evil headmasters being exiled off Master. While Scorponok and three of his followers remained a close group, one of their group named Sovereign chose to split off from them.
He eventually stumbled across Cybertron and Shockwave, choosing to pledge his loyalty to him in exchange for power. Choosing to accept this request, Shockwave had him sent to Earth in order to locate the Enigma of Combination. Augmented with human flesh and conditioned to believe he had always been a human, Sovereign disguised himself as a man of middle eastern descent.
Over the following millennia, his mind would be wiped and reset over various human lifetimes, him adopting a new identity with every one.

An ancient civilization known as Mu discovered the 3 Mini-Con panels that made up the star saber sword and used it to wage war against their rivals, the city of Sub-Atlantica. However, Sub-Atlantica fought back by using the Mini-Con Skyboom Shield. The destructive power unleashed by these two factions caused both cities to be sunken into the ocean, the two mini-con teams being once again lost.

Unicron became aware of the existence of the Transwarp Key, and wishing to use it to consume Cybertron's colonies as fast as possible, headed to Eukaris and sent the Cybertronian Empire down to acquire the key. Realizing that they stood no chance against the might of Unicron, Apelinq entrusted the Transwarp key to his young apprentice Convobat and told him to flee the planet while he held off the Cybertronian empire.
While not wanting to abandon his leader, Convobat reluctantly agreed and used the key to teleport himself and about a dozen other Eukarins off the planet. Meanwhile, Apelinq faced down Jhiaxus, who offered him the chance for Unicron to spare his planet if he handed over the key. However, Apelinq refused and engaged in a brief fight with Jhiaxus, which ended with the Eukarin leader being killed by having a hole blasted through his torso.
However, in his final moments, he mocked Jhiaxus by telling him that Unicron would never get the transwarp key. Shortly afterwards, Eukaris was consumed by Unicron. Soon afterwards, the surviving Eukarins arrived on Earth in southern Mexico and chose to split the Transwarp key in two. Convobat, Wolfang and B'Boom sought refuge in the Jungles of Peru, eventually entrusting their half of the key to a small village for safe keeping.
Meanwhile, the rest of their kind, led by the female eagle Stellarbreeze, remained in Southern Mexico, where a tribe known as the Nathellic built a statue of Stellarbreeze's beast mode around the other half of the key.
480 AD-
The Guardian Knights, cybertronians born from the protoforms stolen by the Quintessons and who served Quintessa, grow fed up with their master's vile ways, and when Quintessa revealed that she planned to use her staff to destroy the Earth since she had sensed Unicron's energy within it, they betrayed her, stole her staff and fled to Earth to hide.
Once there, they met a man named Merlin, who was a drunkard, womanizer and charlatan. However, his people, including his master King Arthur, believed him to be a "wizard" in possession of great magical powers. Regardless of his personality quirks, the knights ended up befriending him.
484 AD-
King Arthur's country of Camelot is attacked by Saxons, who overwhelm their opposition. Arthur contacts Merlin for help, and the so-called wizard approaches the Guardian Knights and pleads for their aid, asking them to help him change the world for the better. He even offered to give up wine and money, but not women.
He compared the bravery of Arthur and his men to the Cybertronians and the current battle to the war on cybertron. Aware of the war from stories told to them by their masters, the Guardian Knights were touched enough to give him Quintessa's staff, which imprinted onto his DNA. The knights then combined into the gigantic Dragonstorm, who Merlin led into battle.
The beast made short work of the Saxons, and afterwards Arthur held a toast to new and old allies alike. From then on, the Guardian Knights and the Knights of the Roundtable agreed to work together to protect the innocent. Thanks to the Guardian Knights, Arthur became ruler of all of England, Ireland and most of Gaul only a few months later.
500 AD-
Merlin dies of liver failure due to his excessive drinking and the guardian knights entomb his body within their ship, going into stasis lock alongside it to protect the staff. Afterwards, Arthur decided that it would be best to conceal any and all knowledge of the transformers from the rest of their species. And so, an order was founded to do just that as well as watch over Merlin's descendents, knowing that the day would come when Quintessa returned for her staff.
Arthur also believed that this return would be heralded by the coming of a 13th and last knight. The order he formed would one day come to be known as the order of the Witwiccans.
529 to 650 AD-
After 45 years of rule, Arthur was slain in a duel by his son Mordred, who died himself soon afterwards. Arthur's twin daughters attempted to rule the land together, but they failed spectacularly and Camelot collapsed into civil war. Notable players in these wars were Sir Wigend of Blackthorn and Aethling the Red, who slew each other in combat in the year 543 AD.
After 121 years of civil war, the Saxons eventually returned and burned Camelot castle to the ground. Camelot in its entirety ceased to exist and fell into the realm of myth and legend, while all of its former territories eventually carved their own path and the ruins of Camelot castle were left to rot away.
950 AD-
On Cybertron, a young bot named Pyro and his brother Sentinel Minor (who had named himself after the legendary Sentinel Prime) both enroll in the Cybertronian military academy, both hoping to join the elite guard. Pyro was called such due to his signature technique, an energy beam that fired from in between 2 protrusions on his back that he dubbed the Fire flash.
In addition, due to idolizing Optimus Prime, Pyro had himself reformatted into a body resembling the seemingly deceased autobot leader. He and Sentinel Minor also befriended Staria, an energetic and spunky female cadet who had dreams of joining the ministry of science. She also had the ability to download and mimic other cybertronian's traits and memories for a limited time with just a touch.
1008 AD-
Pyro, Sentinel and Staria decide to go on an unauthorized mission to the asteroid Archa-Seven at Sentinel's insistence, hoping to find a Decepticon ship that had crashed on the planet during the great war and harvest all of its energon. However, they ended up falling into a series of caves and were attacked by the native giant spiders.
Pyro and Staria eventually managed to find the Decepticon battleship's wreckage, but Pyro was forced to detonate its energon supply in order to try and kill the spiders. While he and Sentinel managed to escape the explosions, Staria was left behind when her copied grapple hook from Pyro wore off, causing her to fall directly into the hoard of spiders.
While Sentinel wanted to go back for her, Pyro realized that following after her would likely mean death and forcibly dragged his brother back to the surface just before they could be caught in the explosion. Unbeknownst to either of them however, Staria had survived the fall and attempted to scan the abilities of the spiders. Unfortunately, her body wasn't designed to copy organic material, and the attempt caused her to mutate into a technorganic hybrid.
This also caused her signature not to appear on Pyro's radar, making him absolutely sure that she was probably dead. Despising her new body with a burning passion and feeling abandoned by her comrades, Staria renamed herself Airachnid and left the planet with her now Spider/Cybertronic helecopter hybrid mode, eventually finding and joining the crew of the Doomsday.
However, her condition had also driven her insane, causing her to leave the ship for months at a time to hunt various species across the universe and wipe them out after getting a trophy from them. As for the boys, once they returned to Cybertron they were interrogated by Ultra Magnus as to what happened. Sentinel blamed Pyro for everything, and the young autobot gallantly took the fall for leading the mission.
As a result, he was expelled from the academy and barred from ever joining the Elite Guard. Sentinel on the other hand was promoted to Major and became drill sergeant at the autobot boot camp, training "Longarm" and new recruits Bulkhead, Hot Shot, and Wasp. Not long into his time at the bootcamp, Hot Shot discovered a Decepticon spy in his ranks who he mistakenly believed was Wasp.
In order to maintain his cover, Shockwave (in his Longarm form) helped Hot Shot "expose" Wasp as a Decepticon spy, but the young cadet ultimately took responsibility for Bulkhead injuring Sentinel Major, meaning that he would never join the Elite Guard like he wanted. After graduating, Bulkhead would go on to become Cybertron's top space bridge expert by scoring higher on his aptitude test than any Cybertronian scientist, and the two joined Ratchet on the cargo ship Orion, which unbeknownst to them was actually the dormant Omega Supreme.
Pyro would later join the crew as their commander, having had strings pulled by Ultra Magnus due to the older bot still seeing at least some potential in the younger one. Pyro was also promoted to the rank of Convoy and renamed himself "Fire Convoy." Meanwhile, Wasp was sent to prison, with the young bot vowing revenge on Hot Shot for ruining his life.
1011-
"Longarm" becomes head of Cybertronian Intelligence, allowing Shockwave to observe the autobots even better than before and make sure that the cybertronians stayed docile. His Longarm disguise was also promoted to the rank of Convoy. At the same time, Sentinel joined the Elite Guard and was promoted to the rank of Convoy as well.
1017-
Cloudraker and Fastlane's ship, the Mantlo, crash lands on Earth in the middle of a battle between the Viking king Cantue of England and Vikings from Northern France led by Godwin the Strongarm. The humans see the ship's fall and interpret it as a shooting star, going to investigate it before fighting each other just outside of it.
While Fastlane and Cloudraker initially hid behind some trees, they eventually decided to intervene in favor of the English forces, causing the opposing Vikings to flee in terror. Meanwhile, the Decepticons following them landed on Earth as well, searching for them. However, Counterpunch killed their ally Wingspan once he detected the Ark.
Believing the two autobots to have killed their comrade, Battletrap and Flywheels ambushed them soon afterwards. While Cloudraker was able to crush Battletrap with his gravity-rod rifle, he was gravely wounded by Flywheels. Fastlane was able to temporarily stun Flywheels and Counterpunch with his sonic boom cannon and carried the unconscious Cloudraker back to the Mantlo for CR treatment.
The ship rose into the air, but it was quickly shot down by a remorseful Counterpunch in order to prevent them from finding the Ark. As Cloudraker lay unconscious on a medical table, Fastlane desperately tried to radio for aid before the Mantlo crashed into Stanshalm castle just as Godwin's forces were breaking it down.
His outer armor having been destroyed by the crash, Fastlane exited to the terror of the human soldiers. They attempted to attack the autobot, but none of their weapons did anything. Fastlane strode in the direction of a nearby abbey, firing warning shots at all those who tried to stop him until a priest put himself in his path and begged him to go back from whence he came.
Fastlane obliged and turned around, heading into Stanewood. Afterwards, he would continue looking for the Ark while the message he had tried to send blared out constantly. He would rise from the Mantlo 3 more times over the next few centuries, each time being preceded by an Earth tremor. As time passed, Fastlane would come to be known as "The Man of Iron."
As for Counterpunch, he finished off Flywheels and then returned to Cybertron aboard the Decepticon's ship and reported to Shockwave that while the two autobots had been exterminated, the rest of his crew were killed as well and nothing had been discovered on the planet. Shockwave accepted this answer and dismissed Counterpunch, who was left to writhe in his own guilt, thinking to himself that war was an awful thing that left no one unspoiled.
1200 to 1205-
B-127 is awoken by an avalanche that disturbs his stasis pod, although he now had heavy amnesia. Confused, he befriended a group of local goats and began living amongst them for the next 5 years before leaving to explore, leaving his stasis pod and blaster behind.
1560-
Shockwave returns to Earth to check up on the process of his Regenesis Project and confirms that the Eukarins had all entered stasis lock. Seeing no use in executing them, he simply recorded that the progress on Ore-13 was going smoothly before returning to Cybertron. Shockwave's brief arrival on Earth would be covered up by the order of the Witwiccans.
1649-
A North American island off the coast of Maine is discovered by a group of settlers, led by Horace Burns, from the mainland. This island becomes known as Griffin Rock, and a lighthouse with a boat is erected in the town's port. While King Charles offered to make Burns king of the island, he declined by placing the proclamation into a bottle and throwing it into the sea.
1777-
Crosswise sees one of the Atlantean Decepticons terrorizing George Washington's army during the American Revolution and goes to stop him, helping the humans and defeating the Decepticon. He then left and sealed the Decepticon deep beneath the Earth's surface in the arctic. This event would be covered up by the order of the Witwiccans.
1805-
The autobot pretender Diver battles the female Decepticon Thunderblast during the battle of Trafalgar, but is attacked by the male Decepticon Evac, allowing Thunderblast to escape. However, Crosswise was able to convince the doubtful Evac to join him as an autobot, the two becoming "monster hunters" together. These events were covered up by the order of the Witwiccans.
1812-
Elita One's rebel group detects the Underbase approaching Earth's solar system, and seeking to warn Metalhawk and the Autobot Pretenders, autobot mini cassettes Raindance and Grandslam were implanted with the information and sent to Earth on a ship. However, it was damaged on entry into Earth's atmosphere and clash landed, sending them both into stasis lock.
Afterwards, their dormant bodies were found by pirates of the Oaken Crow, who kept them with the rest of their loot in a treasure chest. Soon afterwards, the pirates raided and looted Griffin Rock. They set the town ablaze and ran off with their booty, including the Settler's Bell. Unfortunately for them, the ship was caught in a storm and became trapped in a cave on an unknown island, the entire crew either being killed in the storm or starving to death in the ship.
The treasure chest containing Raindance and Grandslam was also lost in the storm, sinking to the bottom of the ocean.
1815-
The Man of Iron is sighted at the Battle of Waterloo, where his presence throws both sides into terrified chaos. However, after delivering warning shots to the panicked soldiers after they fired on him, the Man of Iron returned to the Mantlo, allowing the battle to resume like normal. This incident was covered up by the order of the Witwiccans.
1862-
Drift chases the rogue Decepticon warrior Bludgeon to Earth, landing in Imperial Japan. Both were greatly inspired by the Samurai code of honor, and upon discovering the dormant Gilmer, freed him and got him to help him undergo the Pretender process, taking on the form of a giant samurai with a skull face. Drift, with the aid of two Mini-Cons he discovered in Japan that he named Slipstream and Jetstorm, managed to defeat Bludgeon and Gilmer.
Afterwards, Crosswise arrived and took Gilmer, leaving to seal him under the Atlantis. However, Bludgeon managed to escape in his ship, with Drift and his Mini-Cons following after him. These events were covered up by the order of the Witwiccans. The same year, Jules Verne met Doctor Thaddius Morocco at the London exposition and the two became friends, sharing scientific knowledge with each other.
Verne gave Morocco a prototype "Verne device" which allowed him to construct a cellular regeneration chamber, making him essentially biologically immortal.
1880-
The construction of the great American railroad causes Centurion to be awakened from stasis lock. Still believing himself to be B-127, he goes to investigate and is shocked to see the men, including American folk hero John Henry, working on the railroad. While Centurion took the form of a steam train and made contact with John Henry and his friends, the Eukarin Decepticons, led by "Starscream", tricked disgraced inventor Tobias Muldoon into helping them create a "Golden age" of progress.
Since Shockwave had not bothered creating an analog of Megatron, the Eukarin Decepticons believed their leader to have perished in the Ark crash, with "Starscream" taking up command. Once he realizes that the Decepticons were actually evil, a panicking and remorseful Tobias fled to the home of his primary investor, Stanford Merriweather, for help.
He was helped inside by his sweetheart and Merriweather's daughter Kitty, but was unable to convince her, her father, or their houseguest Mark Twain of his story until "Ravage", who had been tailing him the whole time, burst in. Twain managed to defeat him, and Merriweather offered his full support of Muldoon's efforts in defeating the "Decepticons."
Meanwhile, human industrialists Vanflint and Jacob Lee Bonaventure collaborated with the Decepticons in Muldoon's place, helping them build an "Astrotrain" in order to seize control of Thomas's Edison's new electrical power plant in New York City. John Henry and his friends teamed up with Centurion and all of the "autobots" he had awakened in the meantime to stop them alongside Muldoon and Mark Twain.
As the "Decepticons" rode towards New York, running through several United States army blockades in the process, they were pursued by Centurion and John Henry. The two heroes were eventually able to win the day when they switched tracks on the villains, sending the "Decepticons" and Bonaventure tumbling off a cliff to their doom. Afterwards, the Ersatz autobots returned to hibernation.
1883-
While maintaining a space bridge on a remote asteroid, Fire Convoy and his crew stumble upon the young Prowl meditating in a cave, still attempting to complete the Optics Quest he had started nearly 400,000 years prior. After they accidentally destroyed his ship, Prowl agreed to Fire Convoy's offer to join their crew in exchange for a ride home.
1887-
The dormant Eukarin Decepticons are found by the Deep Ones that lurked within Earth's oceans and are taken to their unearthly city to join the forces of a slumbering Elder God.
1888-
The Eukarin Autobots awaken in response to the threat of the Deep Ones, with Centurion approaching Tobias Muldoon with hopes of reactivating "Optimus Prime" (in reality Domitius Major) who was the only one with the power to stop the Elder God. With the help of Nikola Tesla, Domitius was successfully brought back online and sent the Elder God back to whence it came, vowing to defend Earth should it ever return.
Afterwards, Muldoon and Tesla were approached by the Order of the Witwiccans, who had learned of the battle, and offered to join them. The two chose to accept the offer and became the order's newest members. Meanwhile in space, the crew of the Orion stumbled across the Allspark while repairing a space bridge in the Azazel Asteroid belt.
The crew brought it into their ship and notified Ultra Magnus of the discovery, but the ship was then intercepted by the Doomsday, which had detected the Allspark's energy readings. Fire Convoy attempted to instruct the ship's onboard computer Teletraan Alpha (who the crew had affectionally nicknamed TAI) to initiate "defense protocol Omega."
However, TAI informed him that in order to conserve Energon, it had been deactivated. Because of this, the Orion was forced to begin fleeing from the Doomsday, attempting to reach the nearest spacebridge. However, Gigatron then boarded the ship personally in order to retrieve the Allspark, easily overpowering all 5 autobots onboard. However, a missed Fire Flash from Fire Convoy sent the ship careening out of control.
The Allspark guided the Orion, Gigatron still aboard, to the nearest spacebridge, which exploded once they passed through it. Luckily for the Decepticons aboard the Doomsday, they were smart enough to flee in escape pods before the blast reached them. As for the Orion, it materialized above Earth's moon just like the Ark and Nemesis once had, and began falling down towards the planet.
Gigatron quickly grabbed the Allspark and attempted to fly out to safety in his dragon alternate mode, but a well aimed Fire Flash from Fire Convoy sent Gigatron and the Allspark flying in different directions. In desperation, Gigatron quickly reverted back to robot mode and scanned the Allspark, managing to determine exactly where it would land.
As he did, after Fire Convoy diverted the Orion's crash course from the city of Detroit, the autobots aboard the vessel all entered the Stasis pods aboard the ship, going into emergency stasis just as it crashed into Lake Erie. Meanwhile, the Allspark landed at the bottom of the Colorado River while Gigatron landed in the arctic and froze over, going into emergency stasis as well.
1897-
Captain Archibald Witwicky of the National Arctic Circle Expedition discovers Gigatron when the arctic ice beneath him gives way under his feet and he tumbles into the cavern containing the Decepticon's frozen form. Witwicky's accidental entrance ended up awakening Gigatron long enough for him to imprint the location of the Allspark into the old man's glasses with a beam of light from his eyes, him then going back into stasis lock immediately afterwards.
While Archibald was saved by his crew, the experience had driven him insane and he was eventually rendered blind. Once they returned to shore, Witwicky's first mate Reginald Danco brought his captain to the Boston secure hospital, where his ramblings caught the attention of the US government.
1898-
On new year's day, gentleman adventurers Walter Simmons and Theodore Joseph Wells are drafted by the president to investigate Archibald's claims. After "interviewing" the raving Witwicky, they, Danco and 4 other men decided to head to Antarctica to investigate the "Ice-man" Archibald spoke of first-hand.
They arrived a month later, but their entry into Gigatron's cave triggered another one of the Decepticon's alert systems, causing him to send out an energy pulse that was detected by Skyfire, who had been in hiding on Earth for nearly 10 million years. Believing the signal to be from the Fallen and seeking revenge, Skyfire shed his disguise as part of the cruiser USS Maine and flew to the arctic, resulting in a confrontation with Simmon's group.
Billy North, one of the men that had accompanied Simmons, Wells and Danco, was killed by Skyfire during the battle, with the humans then blasting the ice out from under the ancient Decepticon's feet, causing him to fall into the sea below. Afterwards, the group vowed to defend Earth against any other Cybertronian threats in honor of their fallen comrade, Simmons taking charge of the efforts to excavate and study the frozen "Mega-Man" as he called Gigatron.
1899-
After a year of work, an environmental dome is successfully created around Gigatron's frozen body, which is eventually expanded into a fully fledged base and became the Alpha Command post of Simmons's group.
1901-
One of the Eukarin autobots who had regained some memories of his former self and retaken his original name of Side Kick comes into contact with the Order of the Witwiccans in France, choosing to join their ranks. However, he had picked up a french accent during his stay in the country that he was unable to get rid of, much to his annoyance.
The same year, while on a mission to China given by the president to secure the Talisman, Theodore Wells found himself in the middle of the Boxer Rebellion. He was saved from death by American expatriates and intelligence officers Herbert and Lou Hoover.
1902-
The Allspark is discovered at the bottom of the Colorado River by Simmons's group. News of this discovery reached Wells and the Hoovers in China, and Wells brought them into his organization, hoping that their mining and melluginal skills would help in excavating and analyzing the find. Afterwards, Herbert put into motion a plan to redirect the river around the cube.
When divers were sent to examine the cube, it let out a "cosmic scream" that alerted some Decepticons on Cybertron. Some went to investigate, but were unable to find anything and were picked off by Counterpunch once they arrived.
1913-
Herbert Hoover's planned diversion of the Colorado River is completed, but the attempted excavation of the Allspark by him, his wife, Simmons and new junior member of Simmons's group Roy Thompson awakens Skyfire, who had tracked the cube down through a series of subterranean tunnels he had spent over a decade trapped in.
At his touch, the Allspark brought to life a crane, a car, a radio and a gun. Skyfire managed to escape the area via a space bridge while the humans were forced to break open the dam to "drown" the Allspark mutations and the cube. However, the car managed to survive and fled into the desert, where it eventually named itself Flathead.
Having seen how Simmons's obsession with Cybertronian threats had consumed him, Wells convinced his wife Clara to elope with him.
