Corpse Party

A/N: Happy Halloween! An army of zombies seems appropriate for a spooky chapter.

This chapter will be weird because I'll be skipping around parts that either aren't important or would be the same as the original manga. Pretty much most of the Rades fight and Charmy and Yuno's scene.

I'm also gonna skim over a lot of the fight against the literal no-names that Asta and Leo have. I don't think anyone's gonna be disappointed by that.

I feel like I should mention that I'm basing the Black Clover parts on the manga mostly and the Fairy Tail parts mostly on the anime, specifically the dub. I like both the manga and anime of each series, though their quality increases and decreases at opposite points.

*BOOM!*

Explosions rock the streets of the capital, accompanied by a parade of zombies rampaging through the streets. The one controlling them is a man with long spiky hair and part of his face wrapped up and a golden eye accessory on top. He laughs maniacally at the destruction and cheers his zombies on in their attack on the capital's defense force.

"Break it, break it, break it, break everything! This is what you deserve for not recognizing my worth! Disappear scum, scum, SCUM!"

Back in the room where the ceremony ended, Shiren immediately used his Stone Magic: Stone Model of the World to create a 3D model of the Noble realm, complete with explosions, voices, and their magic levels. Mimosa looks in awe at how much more advanced it is compared to her Magic Flower Guidepost. Fuegoleon looks at the display, worried about how the attacker managed to get in and their skills to launch an attack.

The noble wizards begin discussing how to deal with this situation before Asta screams out, "Hey! What're we waiting around for?!" He then rushes toward the door. "We know there are people need help out there, so I'm going!" Gray shouts out to a retreating Asta, "Where are you going? Do you even have a plan?!" Asta simply yells back, "I'm going where it's noisiest!"

Leopold gets excited and rushes after him. "Bwa ha ha! Interesting, let's go see what you got!" Sol laughs at his attitude and Fuegoleon remarks that he'll scold him later. Then the last of the hotheads – Natsu – also ran out of the building, with his feline son not far behind. "Come on Happy, we can't let 'em take down all the bad guys before us!" "Aye, sir!"

Lucy sighs, not at all shocked at Natsu's attitude. "I don't know if I should thankful or angry at this attack for stopping that big fight." The mages then all split up into different groups and take separate districts. Once they all leave, Charmy – who had snuck in for food (of course)- emerges from under a table and gets distracted looking for more food.

In the middle of all the destruction, a small girl is cowering before the controller of the zombies, who creepily smiles at her. "Hey little girl. Do you like the Fiore kingdom?" The girl is only able to nod her head before the mage starts ranting at her. "Me? I hate it! So, I'm breaking the town, the people, and you girl. I'll break everything!" Behind him, Asta charges through, wielding Demon Slayer and slicing through the flames and zombies. "Then I'll protect everything!"

The corpse user looks back him in annoyance. "So, somebody shows up, and it's one of the fairies. Well, good luck trying to stop my army with a stupid sword!" However, the corpse's don't move and lay on the ground unmoving. While the zombie master looks in confusion, the little girl rushes past him and hides behind Asta. "I get it! You're that Anti-Magic guy!" Asta looks in shock at his reaction. 'How does he know about that?! I'm not famous enough for him to know me!' The corpse user then summons a horde of zombies to attack Asta, who begins cutting them down one after the other.

Nearby, Fuegoleon, Noelle, and Lucy are all dealing with their own group of zombies. Noelle gets distracted by seeing Asta fighting a particularly large zombie. Before she can make up her mind, she gets hung up on the harsh words of her siblings, doubting herself and ignoring her surrounds Thankfully, Fuegoleon manages to incinerate some zombies trying to attack her while she's distracted. Noelle begins to thank him – before he chops her straight on her head. "FOCUS!" Lucy jaw drops at Fuegoleon's action. 'You know, I'm starting to think that all wizards are kind of crazy.'

While Noelle moans in pain from the attack, Fuegoleon starts to scold her. "Fairy Tail girl, don't tell me you've let your siblings' words frighten you. Same for you, Heartfilia!" Lucy flinches at the mentioning of her family name. "I do not know why you decided to join Fairy Tail, nor do I care, but you must steel yourself on the path you've chosen! One wrong decision means one lost life, so get strong enough that it doesn't happen. I've heard that your guildmaster thinks that humans are weak and that we must accept it. He's right. Being weak is nothing to be ashamed of. Staying weak, however, is!"

Asta has been fighting the large zombie and having trouble defending himself and the child behind him. His injuries distract him long enough for a few curse attacks to get past him and are bout to hit the young girl, but Noelle's Sea Dragon's Lair appears around her. Noelle calls out to Asta. "What are you doing, Dorksta?! I'll help you, so you'd better be grateful! I know that you can handle this jerk if you can move no problem!"

Asta has a smile on his face from her support. "Thanks a lot, Noelle! I knew that I could count you!" More zombies appear to attack him, but Leopold blasts them away with his flames. "I'll back you up, rival! Show me what you got!" Asta shouts back at him with a bit of confusion, "Umm… Thanks man, but I was gonna do that anyway!"

Asta charges at the large zombie, spinning towards him in a circle with both swords in hand, deflecting the curse bullets being shot at him. Asta shouts out once he smashes into the huge corpse, "Black Hurricane!" The once again lifeless cadaver falls to the ground, making the corpse mage start whining. "Don't you dare let a dumb attack like that take you out!"

"Quit griping." Asta says, "Now why don't you come after me yourself!"

The other groups had just finished taking out the rest of the zombies when Yuno's grimoire starts glowing. 'Spatial Magic: Blackout' Suddenly, black portals appear under the other groups and teleport them away.

Once they disappear, a woman in a black witch outfit appears riding on a broom. "All those amazing wizards fell for a trap like that one? How amazingly stupid! Now then, while I've got the chance, why don't I help myself to some nice young mana?" The witch begins to suck mana out of citizens, leaving them looking pale and decrepit.

As the crowd starts crying out in terror, she laughs maniacally, enjoying their screams of horror. She flies down to a distraught man holding his wife. "Aaaagh! Eliza, what's wrong!" The dark witch grabs the man's face and taunts him. "Oh my, you're pretty handsome! Say I am I pretty? Come on, tell me!" The man responds in terror, "You monster! What have you done?!" The witch's face twists in anger as she prepares to kill him, but fortunately, a tornado of green wind appears and separates them.

The wind comes from Yuno, who had managed to avoid the spatial magic. The witch smiles at Yuno once she sees his face. "Oh my! Talk about gorgeous! You're just my type! Wanna have some fun with me?" Yuno responds with a look of disinterest on his face. "Get away from them you old lady." The witch's face contorts into one of anger as she opens her grimoire. "YOU'RE DEAD! Ash Curse Magic: Cheerful Ash Destruction!"

A swarm of dark purple ash clouds appear around her and fly out to attack Yuno. He activates his wind magic and uses it to fly around the city, dodging the curse clouds. "Be careful, handsome! Those are curse bullets with all sorts of surprises inside! You won't know what to expect until they hit, so let's see what's behind door #1!"

Yuno dodges the curse attacks before he begins to question the invader. "What do you people want?! Why did you attack the capital?!" The witch flies alongside him on her broom as she continues taunting him. "Oh, you think you can fight and talk? Alright hot stuff, I'll tell you. We're here to eliminate someone and capture someone else! Too bad you're not hot enough for me to tell you more!"

Yuno uses the surrounding buildings as cover, managing to dodge a group of curse clouds, and launches a Crescent Moon Sickle at another cluster, only for more to attack from behind. Yuno flinches in pain as a barrage of ash clouds slam into him. Each attack makes it harder for him to move, reducing his vision, hearing, and feeling in his body. 'Her attacks keep coming, and I can't dodge them all. Not to mention her magic is starting to dull my senses. I can't even hear her annoying monologue anymore.'

Yuno tries to surprise her with a Towering Tornado, but his poor vision leads to him missing entirely. More curse attacks slam into him, leading to him kneeling on top of a roof. 'Damn it! My body's failing me! I wonder if Asta would've had any problems dealing with this. I thought that I had finally caught up to him, but ever since we've joined Fairy Tail, he's been the one getting all the attention.'

Yuno remembers Asta getting them out of Erigor's trap, Asta defeating Erza, Asta saving him again when they fought Mars. 'I never cared what people said about me back home. I knew that people like those Golden Dawn jackasses would look down on me, so I trained hard enough that they couldn't deny my skills. But in the end, it wasn't enough against that Diamond mage. I didn't beat him with my own power, or even escape the spatial magic with my own senses, Sylph saved me.' As his senses completely fail him only one thought goes through his head.

'None of that matters.'

Suddenly, Yuno sees something in his nonexistent vision. Green bird like silhouettes appear and start to fly around. Yuno looks in confusion before he realizes what's happening. 'This is the flow of mana? I've heard that mages with space, wind, and stellar-based magic have great magic detection. I never really thought of it as anything that impressive, but maybe…'

While Yuno is having his breakthrough, the witch prepares to finish him off. "Come on, hurry up! Beg for your life and tell me all about the pain you feel! I bet it's amazing!" Yuno just tunes her words out of his head. 'Shut up. You're nothing compared to him. The only one allowed to defeat me, is also the one I'll never lose to, Asta!'

Yuno's grimoire opens to the new page that he obtained in the dungeon, surrounding him in a giant sphere of wind. The ash witch looks on bewildered before her expression becomes on of terror when she realizes what Yuno's doing. "The mana is gathering around him?! Did that boy control man?!"

The wind sphere moves away to reveal Yuno and Sylph with a green glowing aura around them. "You're pretty old, so I'll only tell you one thing so you won't forget. I'm a really bad loser! Wind Spirit Magic: Sylph's Breath!" A giant condensed blast of wind shoots out at her, blasting her into the distance.

Sylph turns to smile at Yuno. "So, you finally figured it out, huh?" Yuno nods his head. "Yeah, I noticed that you were sending me mana signs, but I was so focused on my sight and hearing that I didn't notice." Sylph then pouts at him childishly. "Hmph! Did you at least come up with a new name for me?"

Yuno has contemplative look on his face before saying, "What about Bell?" The wind spirit puts her finger to her face, thinking about the name before claps her hands in joy. "That sounds lovely, Yuno!" Yuno pats her on the head before he gains a determined look on his face. "Now let's go! I'm pretty sure she's still alive. I hope Asta and the rest are okay."

Back with Asta and his group, they had been fighting more of the one-eyed mage's (who was revealed to be named Rades) elite zombies and didn't notice the spatial magic used on the rest of their allies. Thankfully, Fuegoleon stepped up to help and give more inspiring words to Asta. Afterwards, they all managed to defeat the rest of the elite zombies and restrain Rades.

While Fuegoleon interrogates him and inspects his one-page grimoire, Asta hears a faint voice in the surroundings. Suddenly, a portal appears surrounding Fuegoleon, who resolves himself to fight whatever he sees. Asta, Noelle, Leopold, and Lucy look on in shock at the scene.

While Leopold tries to get answers from Rades, Asta charges at a group of zombie corpses and swings Demon Slayer at it. The corpses fly away to reveal a mage who portals to the top of a nearby building. The mage takes off his disguise to reveal his face with odd marks on his face.

"I thought if I used a real disguise then no one would find me out. That boy is like a wild animal." A portal appears near the wizards dropping a figure out of it. "But it appears to be over now."

The figure turns out to be none other than Fuegoleon, except missing his right arm, blood pooling out of it. Noelle and Lucy rush over to the body to try and keep him alive. Leopold can only stare in horror at his brother's maimed body, leaving him open for Rades to launch him into a wall. As Rades and his ally prepare to teleport away, Asta throws Demon Dweller at his feet, dispelling the spatial magic.

Asta punches Rades a few times in the face before five hooded mages surround them. Asta uses his swords to cancel out his cursed wounds, leaving him able to fight. The mages shoot at him but Asta does another Black Hurricane,canceling out the magic.

One of the cloaked mages notice his swords. "Oh, the kid really does have Anti-Magic! I thought that info we got was fake!" Asta ignores his words and charges the group. Leopold also joins in to help him but are simply too outnumbered and end up with holes pierced through them.

Just when it looks like all is lost, the teleported wizards appear from the sky. Natsu is busy throwing up the food from the capital as Happy explains what happened. They had managed to combine their magics together to make a vehicle that got them all the way back. One of the hooded mages summons a giant gel salamander to absorb a few attacks from the mages before grabbing both an unconscious Asta and a surprised Lucy.

The Fairy Tail mages cry out at their guildmate's capture, but before Natsu or Gray can do anything the mages teleport away, leaving nothing but their parting words. "We are the Eye of the Midnight Sun. The ones who will destroy the Clover Kingdom!"

Natsu roars in anger before punching a hole in a building. "We need to get them back, now! I swear, if Lucy has even a scratch on her-" Gray then slaps him upside the head. "Calm down, flame brain. We have no idea where they went, and you being mad isn't gonna help us. I wanna get them back too, but now is not the time."

Natsu just growls in anger before storming off. "Where are you going?!" Gray yells. "I'm going to find Luce. Hopefully, she's somewhere nearby where I can still catch her scent." Before he can walk any further, Nozel walks in front of him. "You will be staying here, Salamander."

Natsu growls at him, but Nozel continues talking. "Right now, our top priority is reinforcing the capital's defenses. There may be more enemies that are trying to use the chaos to their advantage. I'm sure Lucy and the magicless boy are fine; they wouldn't capture them if they didn't want them alive for some reason. You may leave only after we make sure the city is safe."

To everyone's shock Natsu grabs him by the collar and pulls him down to his level. "You better hope that she's okay because I don't like you guys that much right now after your attitude earlier. I know what being an older sibling means, and I can say that you all are scum getting high off your own shit. An older brother is supposed to protect their siblings, not torture them!"

Natsu then let's go of Nozel before he turns back to his friends but speaks quietly enough that only the Silver Eagle hears him. "You know, I'm always getting in trouble fore destroying things, but if Lucy doesn't come back…" Natsu then turns to look back at Nozel, who notices a hint of red in his eyes, sending a shiver down his spine.

"I'll show you what true destruction is."

In a nearby forest, the Midnight sun wizards appear in front of a group of ruins with Asta and Lucy contained in gel bubbles. Lucy tries to grab one of her keys but realizes she can't move inside the gel. The spatial mage turns to the wizard controlling the gel. "Sally, we only came to get the Heartfilia, the boy is useless. Kill him."

Lucy gasps in horror at his words. "No! Please stop! Don't kill him!" The gel mage takes her hood of, revealing a hair of wild black hair and glasses on her face. "Come ooooon, his anti-magic sounds pretty cool. When he told us about the new recruits that joined Fairy Tail, I knew I had to use him foe research!"

While the Midnight sun wizards argue, Asta wakes up inside the gel. 'What's going on? What happened to me?' He then sees Lucy trapped inside her bubble. "Lucy! What the hell do you guys want with us!" Sally notices him waking up before smiling. "Oh, you're awake! You want to be part of my research, right?! I promise you it'll be so much fun!"

Asta has sweat running down his face at her words. 'This lady's bad news! This situation's also pretty bad, and I have no idea what they want with Lucy!' The Midnight sun wizards enter the ruins only to find someone unexpected waiting for them.

"Hi there," says Julius Novachrono, the Wizard King himself. "I've been waiting for you."

Everyone is in shock at his nonchalant appearance, but before any of the Midnight Sun can react, Julius appears in between two of them and blasts them with his magic. The wizards turn to dust and float away. "I generally try not to kill people, but it would have been a bit too hard restraining you all with numbers like these."

Another Midnight Sun mage tries to attack him with trees, but Julius blasts through it and disintegrates him as well. Rades screams in terror as he witnesses his allies being killed one after the other. Julius gives them a hard stare before talking. "You just came from attacking the capital, didn't you? That means you were prepared to kill, but were you prepared to die?"

"That being said, I'd rather not fight you all, so how about I let one of you live? It's first come first served, but the offer doesn't last long." The midnight Sun mages attack him, but only manage to hit his afterimages. "Oh well, guess I should work on the sales pitch next time."

The dark mages are all captured in translucent bubbles with rings around them. "Time Binding Magic: Chrono Stasis. Guess you weren't as good as I thought? Oh well. See how it feels to live in one unending moment." The bubbles holding Asta and Lucy drop to the ground. "Oh, hey you two. I guess we're linked by fate somehow."

Asta looks on in shock at the remains of the defeated wizards and the easily captured mages. 'He beat all of those guys without breaking a sweat! So, this is the power of the Wizard King! The goal that I'm striving for!' Lucy however, has a different thought running through her head. 'I can feel that his magic is impressive, even though he's keeping it restrained. I wonder if you were ever that strong… mom.'

Julius then walks over to a section of the room that has a stone slab with indents for several jewels before addressing the captured mages. "Now then, can you four please tell me what this is for? I've never seen characters like these before, so what were you trying to do with it? Well, I guess we'll find out once we get back to the capital.

Suddenly, a bright light fills the dark room, blinding Asta, Julius, and Lucy. When the light fades, it reveals that the three of the captured mages and the stone slab were gone. "That light magic was faster than mine," Julius remarks. "Thankfully we managed to keep one of them in custody. Well then, let us hurry back to the capital, I'm worried that your guildmates are a bit angsty with your disappearance."

Back in the capital, the guild wizards are all assembled in front of the medical ward where Fuegoleon is being held when Julius appears with the captured Midnight Sun wizard along with Asta and Lucy in his arms. "Yo! Good work, everyone."

Julius lets the two of them down right before Natsu rushes towards Lucy and giving her a big hug, Happy flying alongside him. "Lushi, I was so worried about you! Please don't leave us again!"

Natsu hugs Lucy tighter and buries his head in Lucy's shoulder. "I'm glad you're okay, Luce. I was about to go looking for you, but they wanted me to stay here." Lucy's face becomes as red as a tomato at his words and how close he is. "Um, that's really sweet and all, but you're a bit too close."

Meanwhile, Asta is rubbing his head with a dopey smile on his face. "Man, I thought I was a goner." Noelle tries to act unconcerned as usual. "Geez, you're always so reckless! Did you learn anything?!" Her internal thoughts reveal her true feelings, as usual. 'Oh my god! If he died, I don't know what I would've done!'

Noelle is the comedically pushed to the side by Mimosa who pulls Asta's face into her chest. "I was really, really worried about you! Please don't do that again!" Mimosa then realizes the position they're in before pushing him away. "I'm so sorry! I don't know what came over me!" Nero then begins to peck away at Asta's head with its usual expression.

The assembled mages are now in the room where Fuegoleon's being held. Julius looks down at him with a somber expression on his face. "I see, they managed to defeat a Wizard Saint, and we don't know when he'll wake up. This is a miscalculation on my part, I should've been there."

Charlotte speaks up at his words. "No, it was due to our inexperience. However, we did find out that the pendant he usually wears is gone. Was that the true purpose of their attack? Not to mention their capture of the Heartfilia heir. Who on Earthland are these terrorists?"

Julius ponders the recent events that have occurred. 'I guess Layla was right, it's finally starting. I wonder if they're working with any of the larger dark guilds. Not to mention the fact that they attacked with knowledge of who would be here, even the Fairy Tail mages. There may be a traitor in the Magic Council, or even worse… a Wizard Saint was the one who let them in?'

Nozel then abruptly walks away with an emotionless expression on his face. "If you'll excuse me." As he leaves the room his face becomes one of subtle frustration. 'Pitiful performance, Nozel! You let yourself get riled up by that peasant, caught unaware by the enemy, and even that dragon boy managed to unnerve you! Never let such an appalling spectacle happen again!' He then thinks of Fuegoleon and his rivalry with him. "I will find the scum who did this to you and bury them myself!"

Leopold then burst into room, still exhausted from his injuries. "I'll get stronger too!" Mimosa gasps at his entrance. "Leopold, you still need to rest!" Leopold ignores her and starts yelling at Asta. "Asta! I'm glad you got back safe! You're my rival now, and we faced death together and survived! That means you have to get stronger too!"

Leopold then remembers his brother talking about the mark on his forehead. "It's a mark handed down the Vermillion family – the sign of a personal oath. It's only worn by those prepared to conquer themselves and become King." Leopold ignites his finger then brands the same mark on his forehead. "This is the mark of my oath! I'll become a man who surpasses my brother and after that, I'll become Wizard King!"

Asta smiles at the sight. "Well, if you're not gonna be an asshole like earlier, I guess you can be a decent rival! But my friend Yuno also wants to be Wizard King, so you've got yourself two rivals for the price of one!" Asta puts his hand up for a fist bump, which Leopold answers with a smile on his face. "Cool, you can me Leo, rival!"

(Later…)

After another ceremony from the Wizard King, The Fairy Tail mages are making their way back to the train station, now accompanied by Charmy, who had snuck into the capital with them. "So, wait, how did you even get here without us noticing you?" Noelle asks the cotton mage. "Oh, like this." Charmy opens her grimoire, surrounding herself in a ball of cotton before shrinking down and floating into Asta's hood. Noelle and Lucy stare at her in a mix of both shock and confusion. 'Is her magic actually busted?'

Lucy notices Bell on Yuno's shoulder and starts to talk to her. "Oh hey, you must be that spirit from the dungeon Yuno mentioned. You're Celeste's sister, right?" Belle responds by flying up to her and blowing fairy dust in her face. "Yes, I am her big sister, so you better get strong enough to summon her again!"

Lucy tries to rub dust out of her face while Happy and Natsu laugh hysterically. "Oh man, Lucy, she got you good," says a giggling Happy. Lucy then chases the two of them down the street in comedic anger. "That's it! You two are gonna pay for making fun of me all the time!"

As they run off, Asta then talks too Yuno. "Hey, I heard you took down an enemy all on your own, pretty impressive. Don't get too cocky, I bet I could do it too." Yuno then suddenly floats up to the other side of the canal they're walking past. "Hmm, Yuno what's up?" Everyone looks at him in confusion before he opens his grimoire and summons a giant Swift White Hawk that he sends straight at Asta.

"Wha-?!" Exclaim the Fairy Tail mages before Asta pulls out Demon Slayer and pierces the eagle head on. The eagle explodes in a gust of wind, leading them all to fall over on their butts. Yuno simply looks with a blank expression on his face. "Huh? Was that too much?"

Asta then pops up with a comically horrified face. "What the hell man, were you trying to kill us?!" Asta then notices the wind forming the letters, 'See you Shortsta" before fading away. "Why you little – fight me right now you jerk! Who tells people messages like that!"

Yuno simply flies off with a smirk on his face while Asta rants in anger. 'I've gotten stronger, but I realize now that I've still got a lot to learn. I never thought that physical strength was necessary to be Wizard King, but mages like Erza and Natsu have great close combat abilities.'

He then remembers Asta telling him about how he met swordsman who uses wind to make weapons. 'That's it! Heh, I guess even all these years later and Asta's still inspiring me. Some day soon, I'm gonna be the one saving him.'

(Unknown Location…)

A man with curly blue hair is sitting in a room with a lacrama orb in front of him. The orb receives a transmission, which reveals a beautiful woman with dark purple hair. "So, did the attack go according to your expectations, Master?" Asks the mystery woman with a teasing tone. "That was just the opening act, my dear Ultear. The play has yet to reach its climax. Though I imagine he won't be too happy once he knows what we were planning behind his back."

The woman, who is apparently named Ultear simply laughs. "Oh, don't worry, he's too obsessed with hating us humans to even imagine that we would betray him, Master Jellal." The blue haired man sneers at her response. "Oh, how I hate that name. That name I'm stuck with after succumbing in my childish moment of weakness. Call me by my true name, the one I was born with, Siegrain."

(Elsewhere…)

A boy with blonde hair and earrings is walking down the street when he sees a newspaper stand with a headline on it. "Terrorist Assault on the Royal Capital! Day Saved by the country's most destructive guild, Fairy Tail!" The boy smiles at the headline before looking down to his side, where a bipedal red cat on two legs is walking next to him.

"Man, my Big Bro's guild is still the best, huh Lector?" The cat, now revealed to be Lector smiles back up at him. "Yeah, but I bet it'll be even cooler once you're there Sting!" The blond youth then smiles at him, revealing a handful of growing fangs in his mouth. "Yeah, I can't wait 'till Big Bro Natsu sees me, I bet he was so worried!"

Well, lots to be excited for in the future, huh? Unfortunately, we won't be seeing Sting come back until Phantom Lord. We will see more of Ultear soon though, and what her and Siegrain's plan are in this story.

I feel like the most interesting part of the chapter was the stuff with Yuno. Yes, I did just make up the part about Space and Stellar magic having good senses, it'll be important later in this version of events. There were also hints of future Yuno growth that I'm excited to build on later.

Let's not forget that the Midnight Sun mages had more than one target this time. Our favorite Celestial mage got kidnapped for the first, and unfortunately not the last, time. There's plenty to learn about Lucy and her mother, who is becoming more and more important as time goes on.

Last thing I'll mention is the heavy amount of Nalu in this chapter. Natsu doesn't really notice, but slowly he is becoming more and more protective of Lucy, but is it the dragon or the demon inside him that drives his actions?

Next time, we'll move onto the Galuna Island arc, which is the first arc where I'm really changing things up. New setup, powerups, completely different abilities for characters, and heartfelt emotions are all to be had in the next chapter, so don't miss out!
