That evening, Chul was sitting down with his parents to eat.
"So, how was bowling?" asked Baek Ma Ri.
"It was great, Hana and I whooped Hwan and Bitna's butts with a ten point lead, they had to buy us milkshakes after the game was over," said Chul.
"Glad you had fun," said Jung Jae Min.
"And have you had any troubles at school or anything?" he asked as he looked at his son's expression in order to see his reaction.
"Just one jerk today who called me a 'damn vampire,' under his breath while passing me at lunch but other than that nothing really happened," said Chul.
"I'm sorry," said Baek Ma Ri with a regretful expression.
"Mom, don't do that," said Chul.
"This is not something you need to apologize for since you aren't at fault for anything seeing as you can't help being a vampire," he said.
"Chul's right, it's the fault of narrow minded fools like that kid," said Jung Jae Min.
"And like I told my friends, I like being part vampire so there's nothing to get mad about and it's not like I'm facing this alone seeing how I have all of them there at my side," said Chul.
"You're right, but please tell us if you need help with anything," said Baek Ma Ri.
"Hana asked me to do the same thing at school after what the boy said," said Chul with a chuckle.
"So don't worry mom, I have great friends looking out for me and I know that you both will also be there," he said.
"Glad to hear it," said Baek Ma Ri.
"Now then, how was your day?" asked Chul.
"The new law I proposed is being picked up and the government is going to be looking into it soon," said Jung Jae Min.
"That's great, dad," said Chul.
"Maybe getting close to that dream of yours soon," said Baek Ma Ri.
