"Here you are," said Baek Ma Ri while handing Kim a cup of tea as he sat in the living room with the rest of the family.
"Oh, you didn't have to do that," said Kim.
"You look like you need something to help you calm down," said Jung Jae Min.
"So, why are you here?" asked Chul who sat on the couch along with his parents. Kim went to speak but found that the words wouldn't come out so he drank some of the tea first.
"I came to apologize," said Kim.
"What I did today was just so stupid and I really can't believe I did something like that," he said, never once taking his eyes off the three who sat across from him.
"Why did you do that, is it just me being a vampire that you hate or did I do something that made you hate me?" asked Chul.
"It's because I was just full of so much hate and I took it out on you when you have nothing to do with it," said Kim.
"Who do you hate?" asked Baek Ma Ri.
"Myself," said Kim to everyone's surprise.
"I take art classes at this studio and there's a girl there that I like and she…" he said while rubbing the side of his neck while the words once again wouldn't come out so he took another drink of tea.
"She's a vampire," said Chul after realizing what he was trying to say.
"Yeah, and every time I've tried talking to her I… I just put my foot in my mouth and make things so awkward," said Kim.
"So, because I'm half vampire you took out your anger on me from not being able to talk with a girl?" asked Chul.
"It's not an excuse I know," said Kim.
"I just wish I could talk to her better," he said while he started to cry.
"Maybe I can help with that," said Chul with a smile.
"Oh boy, when he gets a smile like that it means he has something big planned and there's no stopping him," said Jung Jae Min.
"But if anyone can help it would be our son," said Baek Ma Ri with a reassuring smile.
