I'm back, baby! And today, boy, am I excited to present something completely new for your viewing pleasure! This is a story that I'm excited to e working on to put out, especially because it's combining my passion for Trolls with the excitement and love of the loveable blue hedgehog: Sonic! So sit back, and prepare to get a taste of what's coming! Disclaimer, as always: I do not own Trolls, Trolls World Tour, Trolls Band Together, or anything Trolls-related, as those belong to Dreamworks! Nor do I own the songs that are featured in this little excerpt today either! I also do not own Sonic or any Sonic characters as they belong to Sega! I only own my O.C.: Melody Song!

Where you wanted to speed things up?
They always say, "Take life at your own pace..."
"Slow down to see what's around you..."

*Then, everything went black all of a sudden, the entire scenery now overcome with pitch black darkness*

*Dreamworks Animation logo appears on the screen, the little boy fishing on the crescent moon...*
*The scenery then shifted to the heart and soul of Pop Village, where the bustling, warm, and fun city of Trollstopia resided; Trolls of all kind from all over the Troll Kingdom and beyond living here together and getting along beautifully. Trolls of various types were seen out and about while the same female voice spoke off-screen*
Things have changed a lot in the past year
Trollstopia's been growing bigger...
*A male Funk Troll was currently in the middle of a game of checkers against a female Magic Classical Troll, who moved her black piece across the board and got a few of his red pieces. The Funk Troll gasped in surprise before he and the female Magic Classical Troll both broke into laughter together.*
*At the same time, a male Magic Country Troll, followed by a few Pop Troll kids, ran by, the kids following the male Magic Country Troll, who was waving a dragon kite around*
Normal Trolls and the Magic Musical Trolls are forging newfound friendships with one another...
*By the town square, Queen Poppy herself placed her hand on the ground, allowing for a bright and beautiful flower to grow from the ground with the help of her flora magic, which gave one of her friends, DJ Suki, a lift up towards an oak tree to gather a few acorns*
*Nearby, King Trollex was currently in the middle of training with his water magic, following the lead of his twin brother: Synth, who was helping him*
*By Country Corral, Delta Dawn was using her Earth magic, having Earth armor form around her fists, and punched through a few boulders, breaking them down, which the other Country Trolls collected so that they could have the smaller rocks be used to make essential building materials*
The leaders have even been growing stronger with their new magical abilities...
*The shot then shifted to a Troll who was sitting under a mushroom, enjoying the nice weather and having a peaceful nap. The Troll in presence was a young Pop/Rock Troll with hot pink skin, lavender hair with natural pink highlights that hung to her shoulders in a shaggy bob style, with wavy bangs that hung over her right eye, dark purple eyes and a dark purple nose, who wore a purple T-shirt with a pink heart design in the middle, blue jeans, grey Rock boots, and a red leather jacket over the shirt. She had a peaceful smile as she enjoyed her nap under the tree. Her name? Melody Song, and the voice that spoke off-screen? It belonged to her*
And me? I've grown up a bit myself.
*Melody, now being a 17-year-old, felt like she could take on the world with a pep in her step. She had an energy that ran endless, which influenced her already energetic personality, yet her heart was always in the right place. She had a kind streak that ran miles long and loved music*
*However, despite now being a year older and more mature, Melody couldn't help but notice that some Trolls saw Melody still as a bit of a kid, and there were instances Melody saw this firsthand*
Yet, despite that, the one thing that hasn't changed is that so many Trolls still see me as a little kid, even though I am almost old enough to vote legally.
*One scene showed Melody wanting to go rock climbing over by Mount Music, and had all the protective equipment on for it; helmet, pads, harness, rope, water, fuel, and phone to keep in touch. But before Melody could head to Mount Music, Branch stepped in to stop Melody for a moment*
"Hold it, Melody! If you are gonna go rock climbing, you have to make sure you are safe."
*Melody sighed tiredly while rolling her eyes*
"Don't worry, Branch; I already have everything I need, and all my climbing equipment."
*Branch, being a stickler for safety, felt very unsure*
"Hmmm, well, to be safe, there are a few extra cautions you should take, especially since you might get a little bit crazy with your climbing."
(Music stop)
*Within a matter of minutes, Melody was now covered in pillows and extra padding; in fact, there was so much on Melody that she found it really hard to move in it, and ended up falling over onto her back*
*Branch saw Melody fall over and sheepishly grinned, thinking he may have gotten a bit overboard*
"Too much, maybe"?
[Timeframe: 1:53 - 2:11] (Supernatural instrumental/vocals)
*A new shot then showed Melody sitting on the edge of her bed inside the bedroom she shared with Val in Rock Hollow, looking a little bothered*
"When are Trolls going to stop treating me like I'm 7, Val"?
*Val looked up from what she was doing, tuning her guitar, to meet Melody's gaze, placing her guitar down while she spoke, crossing her arms as she did so*
"When you learn to stop making reckless choices."
*Melody looked offended by what Val just said, retorting back harshly*
"I don't make reckless choices"!
*a new shot then showed Melody sitting at the booth in Funk Bar in Harmonious Land, a hazy, drunken expression on her face while gulping down a cherry punch, before it changed to a shot where Melody was laying tiredly in a hospital bed, an IV in her arm, sporting a hospital gown*
"Uh, who got drunk in Harmonious Land and almost died"?
*It then shot back to present day, which Melody scoffed and crossed her arms firmly, remembering that day*
"I was emotionally struggling that day"!
*It then shot back to the flashback, where Melody, in her drunken haze, punched a female Magic Rock Troll hard in the face while her friends watched and gasped in surprise*
"You punched Scarlet in the face at Funk Bar"!
*It then shot back to present day, Melody rolling her eyes tiredly, knowing that she did that that day, but then shot back with a firm point of her own*
"You're one to talk! You fought Scarlet on the promenade live on TV"!
(Music Stop)
*Val was about to retort when she realized that Melody made a good point and dropped the stern/firm expression for a moment, respecting that Melody had brought up a good point*
"...Fair point."
*A new shot showed Melody wandering into the Vibe Town lab, her eyes noticing the sight of a pair of sneakers on a pedestal. The sneakers looked so high tech and fascinating; the design itself was also on fire! The sneakers were bright yellow, the front point of the shoe had a magenta star design, the heel of the shoe was dark purple and glittery, with bright purple straps, and on each side of a single shoe were silver lightning bolts. Melody's voice spoke off-screen*
I couldn't see the problem with running free and living how I want, not how others want me to live...
*It then showed Melody now sporting the shoes, glancing at them while spinning around, and looking at them from every angle*
I thought I didn't need people trying to tell me what I can or can't do...
*A new shot showed Melody now standing in the hallway outside of the Vibe Town lab, kneeling into a running position, wanting to see how the shoes felt while she ran, unaware of what power the shoes possessed*
I thought that I didn't need to listen to anyone but myself...
*It then showed Melody running around Vibe Town at super speed, surrounded by a crackling white energy while running, barreling past every Funk Troll that she saw, the Funk Trolls themselves startled by when Melody ran past them so fast*
*It then showed Melody now running inside a room around and around and around, unable to stop, and the energy around Melody began to grow brighter, and brighter, with sparks of pink being now mixed into the energy, but Melody still couldn't get herself to stop*
*This was noticed by Rhythm and Blues, who saw that the shoes they were working on were taken and found Melody speeding about uncontrollably in the empty room, the energy around her growing brighter, almost to dangerous levels, especially with the pink sparks meshing in with the white color. With it now becoming really apparent something big was gonna happen, Rhythm tried to shout to get Melody to stop*
"MELODY, STOP"!
*A new shot then showed a huge explosion in the room, Rhythm and Blues both flinching and turning away, covering their eyes to avoid the front of the blast, before it showed the room now empty, a black scorch on the floor where Melody once stood, yet...Melody wasn't there anymore, much to the surprise of Rhythm and Blues*
But boy...did I think wrong...
[Timeframe: 0:08 - 0:25] (Run)
*Paramount Pictures logo appears on the screen, the stars circling around the mountain as the title of the company appears below it...*
*Meanwhile, in a different world, the lush and energetic world of Green Hills, there was a spark of pink electricity building up as it grew and grew before it exploded, and Melody was seen speeding forward before tumbling down, crashing on the ground hard*
*In the distance, a male blue bipedal hedgehog was sitting on a checkered picnic blanket with a male yellow bipedal fox, who had twin tails, a bulky red bipedal echdina with thick white spiked gloves, and a female pink bipedal hedgehog with shoulder-length quills, when they heard a sharp crashing sound and all jumped to their feet in alert, the blue hedgehog speaking up.*
"What was that"?!
*The group was then seen slowly approaching the area, the pink female hedgehog clutching a heavy Piko Piko hammer in her hands while the male yellow fox was holding a remote-like gadget with a radar screen and a small antenna, looking at the readings the gadget was giving him*
"The energy readings are off the chart"!
*It then showed Melody, who was laying stomach-first on the ground, the wind knocked out of her, her clothes sparking with bits of energy and covered in burns and scuff marks that were gonna be hard to repair, her hair a tattered mess. Meanwhile, shadows of approaching figures were seen blocking the light that shined from the sun above onto Melody. The shadows showed to belong to the group, who now circled and were looking down at Melody in surprise and curiosity*
*The male blue hedgehog was the first to speak up in curiosity*
"Who is that"?
*The male red echidna spoke up afterward, his arms crossed while he had a wary look*
"Is it dead"?
*The pink female hedgehog spoke up afterward, showing concern as she saw Melody's condition*
"She looks hurt."
*The male yellow fox then spoke up, his expression curious as to what Melody was, given he, nor the others, had ever seen a Troll before*
"What is she anyway"?
*Melody was seen soon waking up, using her hands to push herself up slowly into a sitting position, her eyes opening as she looked up and saw the group of creatures looking at her in wonder*
*the blue hedgehog smiled, giving Melody a friendly greeting*
"Hi there"!
*Melody, in shock of what she was seeing, let out a yell before falling back, both in exhaustion and in shock, fainting on the spot, which surprised the group.*
(Music Stop) (Run)
*the red echidna gave the blue hedgehog a "look what you did" deadpan look while crossing his arms*
"Nice going, Sonic"
*The now-identified blue hedgehog scowled a bit while trying to defend himself*
"Don't blame me for making her faint, Knuckles"!
[Timeframe: 0:49 - 1:06] (Run)
*An extended view of Green Hill is seen, showing the whole area of the land, the homes, the beaches, some of the other residents who call this world home, and the racetrack, leading up to a shot where Melody is seen inside someone's workshop, laying on the floor with a pillow under her head, condition still the same except that she had a few bandages on her face, hands, and one wrapped around her head, before her eyes fluttered open, and Melody woke up again*
I'm lost in a whole 'nother world and have no idea how to get back home!
*Melody was then seen sitting on the floor, looking solemn and worried*
"What if I'm stuck here forever"?
*The group from earlier was all sitting in front of Melody, listening to her and her worries, and wanting to help her feel better, which the male yellow fox spoke up with a reassuring smile*
"We're gonna help you find a way back."
*Sonic then spoke up, adding onto the now-identified fox's words*
"Tails is right. Besides, it wouldn't be the first time someone from a different world came into ours and we had to cross several dimensions and face their threats to help them get back home."
(Music Stop)
*Melody looked very stunned and almost disturbed by what Sonic had said, her facial expression showing those emotions clearly*
"I don't know what scares me more: the idea of what's considered a threat here or the fact that you said that statement so causally."
[Timeframe: 2:04 - 2:39] (Run)
*A new shot showed Melody standing outside on a rock, looking up at the clear blue sky, now all recovered with no more bandages, her hair fixed up, and sporting a new apparel look; now wearing a blue sleeveless crop vest zipped up, dark purple yoga pants, a red bandanna tied around her neck, and the unique super speed sneakers still proudly worn on her feet. Melody looked down at her right wrist, where a special electronic hug bracelet, which was silver and had green lightning bolts, and the flower made of colorful glowing wires that all made up the colors of the rainbow.
*Meanwhile, a male, stringy, intense voice spoke in the background before it showed Melody glowing a pink energy that sparked with power, the shoes having the most sparks, as Melody's eyes had determination and excitement before she took off, running at supersonic speed beside Sonic as they ran along the track and around the loop-de-loop before skidding to a complete stop without falling*
That pink creature's energy is strong! And her speed is on par with that of Sonic himself!
*It then showed a shot of a nonhuman but odd man with a red-and-gold trench coat, dark blue glasses over his eyes, a big bushy mustache adorned, as he grinned with a malicious mindset, looking over a blueprint that was, while not shown on-screen, appeared to be a big project he had in mind, while Melody's voice spoke off-screen*
Wait, his name is actually Dr. Eggman?
*It then showed Melody talking to a white female bipedal bat with dark purple wings, who was sitting on top of a palm tree, as the bat replied to Melody's statement*
"That is what surprises you"?
*Melody chuckled while shrugging in response*
"Well...it's the third most surprising thing I've heard since arriving here."
*the bat smirked while resting her hands behind her head*
"Can't argue on that, honey."
*A new shot showed the now identified Dr. Eggman typing furiously at his dashboard, the screen of his dashboard showing a digital picture of Melody and the energy she had inside of her, as Dr. Eggman spoke a loud while two smaller robots, one bright red with a spherical design, and one bright yellow with a cubical design, watched on curiously*
"With that pesky Troll in my grasp, I can use her energy to finally get rid of that blue rat and his dopey friends once and for all"!
*It then showed Dr. Eggman standing on top of a hill, pressing a remote, which activated a bunch of assorted critter-based robots to come down the hill, looking to attack, while Melody's voice spoke off-screen*
He's after my energy!
*A new shot showed Sonic with a determined smile, speaking as he got ready to fight
"Well, we won't let him take it"!
*It then showed everyone, including the white female bipedal bat and an orange-and-brown female bipedal badger charging towards the incoming robots, set to fight them off*
*Sonic jumped up and did a spin dash, breaking through three of the robots in no time*
*Tails flew up, using his tails in helicopter fashion. With a remote, he activated some smaller laser-based robots that hovered around him, firing lasers at the airborne robots that took flight.
*Knuckles punched through one of the bigger robots, knocking it to the side*
*The badger threw a wooden boomerang at one of the robots, which chopped its head off, while the white female bat flew in and kicked the decimated robot body away*
*Melody ran past some of the robots with the use of her supersonic speed, sliding under a huge one that tried to grab at her before using her hair to grab it and threw it aside*
*A new shot then showed Amy Rose jumping up, a fire in her eyes, using her Piko Piko hammer to bash the head of a large purple robotic caterpillar, which caused it to fall off the side of the ledge and explode after being destroyed, the explosion causing a shift of wind, but it didn't bother anyone a bit.*
(Music Stop)
*Melody was jaw-dropped from what she saw: Sonic, Knuckles, the white female bipedal bat, and Tails having amused looks since they were used to this, while the orange-and-brown bipedal badger smirked, using her hand to close Melody's jaw before Melody found the courage to speak up again*
"Remind me to never get on Amy Rose's bad side."
*The badger's smirk grew a bit as she made a comment*
"Oh trust me, she can be way scarier than that."
[Timeframe: 0:23 - 0:57] (Superheroes)
*Sonic was seen confronting Melody while on top of the loop de loop, with Melody having her arms crossed and an upset look on her face while listening to Sonic*
"You don't know what you're getting into"!
*In what looked like an interstellar wormhole, Melody grimaced in pain, feeling her essence fading, appearing to look lighter, in a very unhealthy way, sparks of her essence showing her being drained while a gruff voice spoke off-screen*
Why can't you accept that you don't know what you're doing, kid?!
*Melody was seen sitting facing the end of a cave, the rock clear and shiny as a glass mirror, Melody resting her hand on it as she looked at her reflection with a somber expression, seeing a image of her younger self in it, which Melody's younger self had her hair up in twin pigtails, and wore a white long sleeve shirt with one of the sleeves torn off, a blue sleeveless vest, a black skirt, and brown boots, while Melody's voice spoke off-screen*
In my attempt to show that I was grown up, I wound up making a selfish, immature mistake, and it cost me. I only just proved what everyone still sees me as: a reckless kid
*It then showed the inside of someone's home, Amy Rose sitting on the couch, talking with a reassuring smile.
"No one's perfect, we all make mistakes."
*It showed that Amy was talking to Melody, who had a blue blanket wrapped around her while sitting across from Amy on the couch, as she listened to Amy, but also voiced her own frustrations in response*
"Yeah, but you've never made a mistake that dragged you away from your home and everyone you love"!
*It then showed Melody lying down, her head resting on Amy's lap while Amy was gently rubbing Melody's arm to help soothe her while she spoke to Melody*
"When you start having things you look back on and wish you could change, that's when you really start growing up."
*A new shot then showed Melody sitting on a rock while looking up at the starry sky of night, while Melody's voice spoke off-screen*
I want to change...I have to, if I want to get back home

*A new shot showed Tails typing something on a small computer-like device with Sonic watching curiously*
*A new shot showed Melody talking to the purple Flickey bird, who sat on Melody's index finger*
*It then showed the orange-and-brown badger pointing to a chalkboard labeled "Dimensional Conspiracies" and she appeared to be rambling about something related to it*
*A new shot then showed Amy and Knuckles getting pushed back in a fight against an unknown foe, but a visible robotic tentacle-like battering arm was seen hitting them as they got sent back*
*It then showed the young cream-colored rabbit running over to a small light blue creature with pink wings and a red bowtie, who had fallen to the ground and looked badly injured*
*A new shot showed Dr. Eggman pulling a lever while Melody, who was bound by her wrists and feet to a circular, electrical device, grimaced and winced as she felt the device affected her*
*It then showed Sonic and the black hedgehog standing side by side, a group of jewels surrounding them as they began to be enveloped in a raw, powerful gold glow*
*A new shot showed the two smaller robots who work with Dr. Eggman, the cubical robot saying something while the spherical robot facepalmed*
*It then showed Sonic running up the side of a mountain with his speed in determination*
*A new shot then showed the purple Flickey bird standing in between Melody, who was on the ground and feeling weak due to the progressive loss of her essence a, and Dr. Eggman, who was sitting in the driver's seat of a huge robotic body that was brimming with sparking pink energy, and the purple Flickey bird was glowing, her presence being blinded by the bright glow surrounding her*
*A new shot then showed everyone gathered around the campfire, dancing and singing together while Melody was playing the acoustic guitar*
*The final shot showed Melody's voice speaking off-screen while Melody herself was knelt on the ground of the interstellar wormhole, the powerful pink energy surrounding her as she smiled in determination, her eyes showing a fire of determination, ready to run*
I'll never stop running if it means I'm running for the people I love!
[Timeframe: 3:41 - 3:53] (Superheroes)
*The title comes out in a bolt of blue lighting, the word "Trolls" being illuminated while the bottom words "Sonic Speed" come zooming in right under at supersonic speed*

*A new shot showed Sonic's voice speaking off-screen as he got into a running position, ready to run as he nodded towards someone next to him off-screen*
Well, there's only one thing to do
*Melody, the figure whom Sonic had nodded to, nodded in agreement, getting into a running position alongside Sonic as she spoke in excitement*
"Gotta go fast"!
(Music Stops)
*Sonic heard what Melody said and chuckled, turning his head to look at Melody with a playful glint*
"Hey, that's my line"!
*Melody smirked playfully as she turned her head to meet Sonic's gaze*
"Like you own it, spines-for-brains"?
*Sonic, undeterred, stood upright and had his hands on his hips as he responded back with charisma*
"It's my trademark catchphrase, along with a bunch of others."
*Knuckles, who was watching on the sidelines with Tails and Amy, smirked, adding in a playful response of his own as he spoke to Melody*
"Trust me, it gets annoying after a while..."
*The response made Sonic a bit flabbergasted while Tails held back a snicker, Melody broke into laughter, and Amy covered her mouth, covering a chuckle that escaped*
