In 1286,Zarok,an Evil Sorcerer plotted to take over the Kingdom of Gallowmere with his undead army,but Sir Daniel Fortesque led the King's army to attack. He was later killed after being struck by an Arrow.
100 Years Later,Zarok reappears after hiding,& cast spells over Gallowmere, awakens his undead army,& steals souls from the living. Dan was unwilling revived,with one eye and a missing jaw.
The Statue of heroes,including Dan's second in command,Canny Tim,tells Dan that Chalices needs to be collected. He manage to defeat monsters and retrieve them.
Dan arrives at Zarok's lair and uses the Chalices to release the souls of his old army. After Dan defeated Lord Kardok,Zarok's Champion who perished during battle,Zarok transforms into a Powerful Dragon. They fought each other as Dan manage to defeat him. Refuses to give up,an exhausted Zarok's tries to bring down the castle,but gets crushed to death.
Dan quickly escape as the souls returns to their owner. The People sees Dan and hailed him as a hero.
