Nathan Drake & Victor Sullivan meets with Katherine Marlowe & her employee,Talbot in London,who are interesting in Nate's ring,inherited from Sir Francis Drake. The duo realizes that the money they're trading for the ring is fake. They are surrounded by Charlie Cutter,Talbot's cohort before the duo ends up fighting with the thugs. After being overpowered,Cutter & the thugs took them outside before Cutter kills the two thugs.
He escapes with them to the underground library where they meet with Chloe Frazer. They retrieve a map of Francis Drake's voyage to Arabia,having been commissioned by Queen Elizabeth to find the lost city of Ubar. The four travel to Syria where Nate meets with his ex-girlfriend,Elena Fisher & her cameraman,Jeff. Nate reveals to Chloe that he & Elena used to work together before she left. They found half the amulet,revealing that the next clue is in Yemen,but are found by Marlowe,Talbot,& their henchmen. As they quickly escape,Jeff was killed & Cutter is injured,forcing him & Chloe to back out.
They travel to Yemen where they locate a tomb that details the location of Ubar in the Rub'al Khali desert. Nate gets captured by Marlowe & Talbot,who steals the ring. He was held captive on the ship before he quickly escapes. Nate was washed ashore in Yemen and learned that Sully was captured & being forced to lead them to Ubar. He snuck onto a cargo plane & gets caught in the shootout before the plane gets destroyed. He deploys a parachute & lands in the desert where he meets Sheikh Salim,who explains that Ubar was doomed by King Solomon when he imprisoned Djinn in a vessel & cast it into the city.
Salim & Nate rescues Sully & find their way to Ubar. They soon realizes that Solomon's vessel contained Hallucinogenic materials which tainted the city's water supply,leading to its downfall. The vessels is what Queen Elizabeth sent Francis Drake to find,but upon learning the truth,he abandoned his mission & lied to her that he never found the city. The duo find Marlowe using a winch to recover the vessel from the water,but Nate destroys the winch & a support column,causing the city to collapse.
Marlowe & Talbot corner Nate & Sully,but the floor collapse where Marlowe sunk to her death,taking Drake's ring with her. Talbot attacks the duo and fights with Drake,who gets dangle over the edge. Talbot was just about to kill Sully,but Drake grabs the gun Sully dropped and fatally shot him. They quickly escape with Salim's help.
Nate & Sully meets with Elena,who showed them her infant daughter. She reveals that the child is also Nate's daughter.
