It was a bright day in Sinnoh, and Ash was just visiting fellow champion Cynthia. Although, it was time to get up, but Ash was still sound asleep.

"Ash?" asked Cynthia, "Are you still sleeping?"

Pikachu looked at Cynthia, and started shaking Ash's head a bit. He then slapped his face, but still nothing. Finally, Pikachu's cheeks started to spark, as he made a frowning face.

"Pika-CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"

Pikachu unleashed a massive electric shock, shocking both Cynthia and Ash. The light was seen from the window outside, before it subsided. Ash and Cynthia's hair was sticking out, with Cynthia saying, "Pikachu, next time, please warn us."

"Pika," said Pikachu.

"Good morning Pikachu," said Ash, smiling.

Ash got up, and went to get ready.

Ash Ketchum has recently won the World Coronation Series, and became the Best of the Best, just like he dreamed he would be. Right now, Ash was just traveling around the world, visiting old regions, and right now, he was traveling Sinnoh with Cynthia. Today, Ash and Cynthia were to explore some old ruins that had been discovered recently. It was a request by the explorers who had discovered it personally incase some hostile Pokémon.

At the ruins, it showed large statues of Pikachus. Almost like they were worshiped here.

"Wow, look at this Pikachu," said Ash.

In the ruins, one of the researchers looked at some wall drawings. Showing a human going through a metamorphosis under the moon.

"Interesting," said the researcher, "Look at this. It's showing a person here, turning into a Pikachu under the moonlight."

"I've heard a legend of it," said Cynthia, "They're known as Were-Pikachu. Basically, the moon light triggers a power hidden within a person that transforms them into a large Pikachu. They have the same moves and appearance as a regular Pikachu, only much, much larger. Almost like a Were-wolf, only a Were-Pikachu is rather docile and friendly towards humans and other Pokémon. And it's only a human being that can hold the power, not another Pokémon. Not even a Pikachu."

"Sounds cool," said Ash, "Although, what happened to this place?"

"We found this to be around, close to the time Palkia and Dalgia were changed to their current forms," said the researcher.

"Interesting," said Cynthia, "I wonder what would happen if there was a Were-Pikachu."

Soon, pictures were taken, and everyone headed back to the lab. There, everyone was looking at the things that they found, including artifacts, and tablets of ancient writing.

"Listen to this," said a researcher, "'There is a hidden Pikachu in some certain blood lines, and all that is needed to trigger the change is the moon, and a jolt of electricity."

"I guess I'm not part of it," said Ash, "I've been shocked many times by Pikachu, and I'm still human, not changing once under the moon."

Everyone was soon on the way out, and Cynthia let Ash stay for one more night before he headed off to Kalos to see Serena.

The moon shown brightly, and an electrician was working on a power line, when he heard something. Turning around, he saw nothing. He headed to the shed, just humming to himself. Something was watching him.

The electrician was just putting the tools away, when he heard the door open.

"What?"

He turned around, seeing something in the shadows.

"Is someone there? Are you lost?"

"Pika."

"Oh, a Pikachu? You want something? Care for a berry?"

The electrician pulled out an Oran Berry, holding it out.

"Hey, it's okay. Just come on out, and I'll help you get free little guy."

The figure then crawled out, and stood up, making the electrician freak out, as he fainted at the size.

A yellow hand grabbed the berry, and ate it, before looking at a wire, and touching it. After that, the figure jumped out of the wall, and into the night. All around, electricity was drained, and some messes were made. The figure seemed pretty playful around humans and Pokémon, only attacking when they attacked first. Soon, the figure ran off, and disappeared into the fog, leaving a giant silhouette of a Pikachu, as it disappeared.

Next morning, Ash woke up on his own, and Pikachu stretched out. He stood up, and shook himself. Pikachu then charged up, and Ash said, "Morning Pikachu."

"CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"

Ash was shocked once more, and when Pikachu stopped, Ash said, "HEY, WHAT WAS THAT FOR!? I WAS AWAKE!"

"Um, Ash," said Cynthia, walking in, "I need your help. Something's happened in Jubilife City."

"What happened?" asked Ash.

"Some giant Pokémon came, and drained all the power in the city."

"What? What kind?"

"I don't know, but, people have been saying it resembles a Pikachu."

Ash quickly got up, and dressed, and followed Cynthia into Jubilife City.
