Spike,Jake, & Natalie delivers a load of monkey pants to the monkeys at the park. While doing so,Spike learn that his cousin,Jimmy is coming over.
By the time Jimmy arrives,Spike shows him around. He explains about his heroic stuff when he faces off with Specter. While Spike & Jake are competing in a Tennis court against the twin,Kei & Yumi,Jimmy accidentally send some Monkey Helmets to the monkeys, including Specter,believing that the Helmet can make them superheroes. They wreak havoc to the city.
Spike scolded Jimmy for his actions. Jimmy met a baby Pipo monkey,Pipotchi,who wants to help him & Spike to recapture the monkeys. Specter has supplied five monkeys, the Freaky Monkey Five,with Vita-Z bananas,making them stronger.
Spike,Jake,& the twins manage to capture three of the Freaky Monkeys,but Jimmy & Pipotchi are captured. Specter begun creating a Giant Robot.
Spike infiltrates the lair,captures White Monkey,and rescuing Jimmy & Pipotchi. They quickly got away as Specter pilots the robot. Red Monkey overpowers Spike,but gets caught in the net,fired by Jimmy.
Spike & Jimmy inside the robot's core and destroys it. During the robot's destruction,Specter threw himself over and vanished through the smoke. Spike & Jimmy reconciled as the team couldn't find Specter. Later,the team celebrate their victory.

Specter is met by Polygon Man,who invites more villains.
